Hair implantation is completely ineffective, in fact, I have to cut the donor area (back and side) to 3ml a month because where the hair has been removed, I look like it is balding. The surgery, which cost almost HUF 1 million, did not help, but it made my situation worse! I once personally tried to communicate my dissatisfaction to them, but they explained it. There is no money to make up for my desperation.

Alex: My experience was quite seamless. I arrived in Hungry; they arranged a transfer to hotel. They arranged for a blood test the following day to MOT me to ensure i was good-to-go for treatment. The treatment day was very pleasant: The clinic is a small stroll away from the hotel. The clinic is charming, modern and sanitary. The interpreter/receptionist was very attentive; the Dr was lovely and experienced; treatment was relaxing (you can catch up on Netflix whilst it’s being completed). And clear instructions were given before and after. The most unpleasant thing about the process is the anaesthesia needle, it was fairly painful about 5/10. Though, I imagine this is quite subjective since people have different pain thresholds. But the Dr did offset this with an ice cube, which was much appreciated. (It is a surgery, so a little pain should be expected!) Well done, HairPalace! I hope my results are as fine as the treatment!
Andrew Collins: Hair Palace offered a very efficient and well drilled service. I would thoroughly recommend them to anyone considering undergoing a hair transplant. I had my procedure yesterday and everything went really smoothly and they got the job done. I can certainly see all of the implanted hairs - amazing! I’ll look forward to my hair growing back and seeing how the new hairs grow out. I was very apprehensive about the procedure, however I was generally made to feel really comfortable by the surgeon and patient liaison/interpreter. Just for information: there was a lot more local anaesthetic required than I expected. Perhaps naively, I expected one or two injections to numb the total donor area for extracting the necessary hairs, however there were certainly more than 15. I don’t mean to put anybody off by this. During the implanting section of the procedure I watched a couple of films of my choice on Netflix - it was great to be able to take my mind off of the procedure. This part of the procedure was largely pain free and even the anaesthetic administered was not painful in the way that it was first thing in the morning in the back of my head. The only slight issue I had with the implanting part of the procedure there seemed to be a lot of banter/joking between the surgeon and assistants/colleagues. In a way it was reassuring that everything was going according to plan and there was clearly nothing of concern, however not understanding the language it did make me feel slightly uncomfortable. This was just detailing my personal experience and not to take away from the work still being done efficiently and effectively. The aftercare seems to be great - a very clear and detailed aftercare plan and great to have some follow up remote consultations scheduled. All in all I’m extremely happy with the procedure and the service offered by Hair Palace. The surgeon was friendly and effective, and my patient liaison/interpreter was excellent and reassuring to have available.

Rest assured it is completely safe and legitimate you can pay in cash for the discount, the trouble with paying with a bank transfer is your bank is likely to hold your money before transferring although you will be required to have the money sent before the surgery, so just a heads up!

Sof Fenek: I identified Pro hair as a top 3 clinic in Hungary and what made first difference was now fast i was answered to, and called in person by the surgeon himself Thomas. That made the first difference. About the operation, all was well organized, warm welcome. And the results are excellent, i needed work on the crown area and the front and 10 months after i am very happy with the results and how natural it looks. Also appreciate the easiness to stay in touch with Thomas. I strongly recommend.
Samir Benyazza: Decided to get a hair graft transplant after a friend of mine underwent such a procedure work Prohair clinic in Budapest. My friend had an incredible result. Well ….contacted the doctor ans after few exchanges i made the move. Budapest is less than 2 hours flights from Paris. Great! The doctor/ clinic will arrange for pick up hotel taxi and such if you want. Procedures took 2 days because I wanted a full head :) Great doctors, he does take the time and he is very meticulous. Very approachable unlike some other surgeons. He speaks French English Greek Spanish and Hungarian. Quite impressive. Good sense of humour. Bottom line : The results are amazing . He masters graft surgery no kidding !!! Will do it again if I have too and honestly I do recommend the clinic. Price is So Competitive. In France I would have paid twice or even three times the amount I paid for a full head (about 4000 -4500 grafts). In fine, a big yes 👍 two thumbs up and Thanks Doctor for your caring and kindness. Sam Bartlett’s: I visited Prohair on the recommendation of a friend. I was losing the majority of my hair through the centre of my head, and was losing my confidence. I contacted Thomas and had several video and voice calls with him, to discuss what was required and how the procedure works. I required 6000 FUE and planned the procedure over two visits, the front was undertaken in 2021 and after 9 months the results really started show and made me confident to return to finish the rear of my head. You are provided with everything required, painkillers and antiseptic wipes as part of the package. Following on you have access to Thomas whenever required, he has always replied quickly and helped when required. I highly recommend Prohair and Thomas for anyone considering to start the hair replacement journey. I have recommended my own friends who have all had the same experience.

They shaved my whole head even though I needed just filling up frontal hairline. D Jezzer: I have just had a free consultation with Dr Sikos, and he provided me with very helpful advice- he told me to wait until my hair loss was stable before I consider surgery. He did say I could have surgery now, but it was his expert opinion that I wait- I think this is very honourable, and it shows how generous and trustful Dr Sikos is. I write this because there are some hair clinics which just want your money, and I was afraid of contacting them. On the other hand, Dr Sikos seems to genuinely want to help people, providing me lots of advice on what treatment to take at present; he was also very patient with me, as I asked him quite a lot of questions which he answered. I look forward to going over to Hungary for surgery with him next year, once I have carried out his suggestions and the hair loss stops and becomes more stable. Thanks again!

Suzy El-Shazly: Agnes was the absolute nicest person. She was very professional, made me feel really safe and helped explain everything to me. The laser removal was almost painless for me so I would highly recommend! The space is clean and well equipped too. Really great!

Customer Care: Their customer services is ok but their prices are very expensive. I went there for tattoo removal and they charged me 15,000 HUF for one session of laser tattoo removal for a small tattoo. This was actually more than the £30 I paid for the same treatment in the UK. I managed to find another clinic in Budapest that only charged me 5,000 HUF for exactly the same treatment. Very overpriced clinic!!

Brigitta Váradi: Very professional, quick assistance, very good doctors. I had my leg surgery here today. Amazingly clean private room with private bathroom. Flawless caretaking, super kind nurses. I wish all hospitals were like this one. Big thank you!
László Tótin: Being not even able to secure an appointment. I agreed on a date with the lady on the phone. Upon arriving they said I was in their calendar for the follwing week. They do not even send confirmation of appointment in text message or in e-mail, yet they ask for these contact details...
Katona Luca: I wish I could give no stars at all... Rude, mean and arrogant staff, dodgy pricing system and unprofessional doctors - for ridiculously high prices... The 3 "lady" at the reception should be fired for the way they talked, and for the attitude they gave to not just me, but to the other patients too,, doctor rushed the whole examination- which in general should have been taken 10-15 minutes- he did the entire consultation AND examination in 5... And not to mention the prices which are totally different from what they present on their website... Stay away from this place- especially if you are a foreigner!
Ng Billy: I got referred there by another clinic. Knowing that I can’t speak Hungarian, they manage to get reception, nurse and doctor who can speak English to help me. Hence, there isn’t language barrier as the nurse and doctor speak perfect English. The receptionist speaks sufficient English to help me to register using simple English words like “passport”, “address” etc
Miodrag Cehajic: So many negatives comment. I went yesterday was all good. Yes, the reception doesn’t speak English or German, and as Budapest is one top tourist destination, they should have someone speaking the foregone language.
Illes Eszterhas: Unlike other reviews the bedside manners of the doctors are fine. However the reception is beyond inefficient you have to wait close to half an hour for the paperwork.
meh1961: irresponsible, cheating the foreign, unprofessional behavior and very on-polite with street walker behavior, unsuccessful operation and surprise it is not closed by government as a cheating place.
