Zoska Reggeliző Kávézó: what do users think?

Era Chaudhary: Value for money, cute place, loved it! Solo traveller, I was craving for food I can relate to and eat in a peaceful but pretty place. I found this cafe randomly on Google maps and thought I’ll give it a try, also because not many places were open that time. I went healthy! I had: American pancakes with fruits. There were various options but I thought fruits might be a good start to the day! Orange juice - it was fresh and I could taste the orange pulp. Was exactly what I needed! The vibe of the place is really chilled out, I saw a lot of young crowd. The staff was nice and spoke English! Thank god! The service was fast and billing was seamless. I liked this place a lot. Must go! Plus it was value for money!

Roland Trimmel: Excellent. In one simple line — some of the simplest yet best breakfast options around. Always good, never got disappointed here .. and being able to sit outside makes the whole experience even better. For €5 you get scrambled eggs with two toppings of your choice, a sandwich on the side and a fresh juice to choose from. That’s unbeatable!

Loren Vásquez: The breakfast here is simply amazing. I tried pancakes and scrambled eggs with spinach and cheese. The prices are really good. I recommend this place 100%. The customer service is so good too.

Anna: I got a recommendation for this cafe for working however, it was kinda loud and not for working working especially when you have a meeting. You can work some time with WiFi and outlets though. I ordered a croissant which was chewy inside and somehow I really like it.

Anna Hayat: Lovely cozy place for breakfast 😍 friendly staff, and cozy interiorOur first place for breakfast is Budapest. and we had a very good first impression of the service in Budapest

S H: I liked this breakfast place alot. I had scrambled eggs, a latte and a homemade iceatea. Nothing to complain about it. Except for the fact they overchared more than 500ft extra. So the prices on the menu are not correct.

Ziga Kuhel: A super adorable place for breakfast. The Interior is cute.Fast service and affordable prices. You get a lot of food for a good price, but the food is average, nothing extraordinary.

Marie Kivimäe: I really enjoyed my breakfast at Zoska! It has excellent service, friendly and helpful staff, broad selection of breakfast options and great location.

Szimply - Breakfast & brunch: what do users think?

Madalina Andreea: I would give more than 5 stars for this place. Friendly staff, big portions, coffee is also really good. Even if we waited for about 30 minutes for the food it was all fresh, tasty and full of Colors. They serve a big variety of healthy foods with vegan and vegetarian options. I will definitely come back the next time I’m in Budapest

Anastasia Karpovets: It’s the best and most beautiful breakfast in Budapest for sure!!! I love how the menu is updated once in a while. But place get very busy so when you come around 11-12 you might have to wait. The food gets ready very quickly and staff is so nice

xtoned98: Great place for a healthy breakfast or lunch. My wife and I loved it (she can’t have gluten nor dairy). Expect coffees wthout sugar, though, but they were quite tasty nonetheless! Maybe they should recommend their customers that their coffee needs not any sweetener! :) The bagel could also be served with peanut butter!

Dana Bashi: Tiny place in a cute ally. A small number of breakfast options, we had the açaí bowl and the eggs Benedict. Both were very good. They are very particular about their coffee (love it) and we didn’t feel like what they offer so we took ginger and lemongrass tea which was great( looks like they actually made it themselves because we didn’t see any tea bag). Nice service and reasonable prices.

Ilias Blioumis: Nice vibes and great-fast service but the food didn’t meet our expectations. Also sitting outside is not convenient as the stools have no back support and it gets tiring after some time. Would appreciate if sugar free concept was mentioned somewhere (unless I missed it?). The food was okay but nothing special. I had better brunch around Budapest but I’d be more than happy to correct my rating if I somehow missed the sugar free info. Thanks 😊

Brunch Bistro Budapest: what do users think?

Chris Rodriguez: Amazing breakfast spot in the heart of the city! I ate here a few times during my time in Budapest and was never disappointed! The menu is pretty standard and you get pretty much what you are looking for and that is amazing breakfast! I had the full English breakfast twice and also the avocado toast! Both of those I can recommend! The staff here are also very friendly and the service is incredibly fast! Both times I visited we waited outside, but never longer than 10 minutes! Enjoy your time!

Anastasia Karpovets: Favorite place for brunch. We spotted it right after the opening and occasionally go there. The staff is just so friendly and nice. The food is simply amazing. Especially live the stuffed avocado with shrimps. Omg, that’s delicious.

Jacqueline Anna Crickitt: Welcoming staff. Nice contemporary decoration. Ideal and easy to find location. Good selection of breakfast options. All tastes covered. Amazing and mouthfull fresh incredients presented beautifully in their plates. Good amount of food in reasonale prices.Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 4/5 …More

Sean McAnuff: Wow! We have zero complaints. To start, they brought water for our dog and water for a bouquet of flowers we had. The service was very quick. The coffee was hot and tasted very good. The food was fresh, high quality, and the perfect serving sizes (and I like to eat). The inside is nicely designed, clean, and has plenty of space between tables (often brunch places have as many tables as possible crammed beside one another)! The prices are fair as well. We will be back!

kfir Benais: Really nice breakfast, a lot of food options. All was perfectly cookedAll was freshLoved the service and the place

London Coffee Society: what do users think?

Anubhuti Singh: Great options for breakfast/brunch. Coffee was really good here. It is a small place. So big group of people will not comfortable here. We were 5 people and somehow managed to combined two tables and sit. It is mostly for couples or for Solo traveler. One can sit outside if sunny and enjoy their coffee.

Michael Rosario: This place is honestly amazing. It’s the coziest little shop with amazing food, drinks, and desserts. The atmosphere is second to none with great music that literally had me dancing as I ate. The owner and the staff were great and helped me through the menu and gave great recommendations. I then spoke to the owner and asked him about his life and experience and his story is amazing. He even threw in an amazing tote bag for my wife with him as an avocado. All in all I will DEFINITELY be back every time I’m in Budapest!

Victoria Nagy: Coffee was nice really great, however we weren’t so amazed by the food as opposed to the other reviews. The shakshuka was sour and a bit tasteless. It was nowhere as flavourful as I and used to in the UK. The place is very tiny, if you are tall you barely going to fit on the seats. Sadly. The coffee was good though so it is a 4 star. If the food would improve I would give 5!

Jake: Absolutely love this café - they sell great food and drink at very reasonable prices. Staff are very polite and welcoming, atmosphere is very cool but relaxing. It is very small but popular, so peak times for brunch can make it tricky to find a seat. The banana bread is absolutely divine.

Rachel Appleton: Glad we stumbled across this little cafe. Nice decor, good staff and decent food. The coffee was too sweet for me (oat milk flat white) but we shared a goats cheese omelette & poached eggs avo/ham. Good price too!

Á la Maison Breakfast and Brunch Restaurant: what do users think?

Marinos Theodosiou: Must be the best place for breakfast in Budapest :) The omelets, the coffee, the pancakes, the eggs benedict, everything were just outstanding. The beautiful Parisian decor, along with the exquisite service make this restaurant our favourite for breakfast in Budapest. Pricing is reasonable, tiny bit overpriced but the quality of the food balances the scale. Overall, our mornings were simply majestic due to this place.

Aline K: If you fancy a french style breakfast & brunch, then this is the place. The food is okay, the interior is elegant and the staff is friendly even though I thought they were gona be pretentious, but they were nice, and the service wasn’t as terrible as I read in some reviews. It’s an expensive place compared to other brunch spots around. Now to talk about the food: the eggs benedict were good, although I still don’t know what that green sauce was. The waffle was sweet though. It was served with salty stuff so I didn’t really enjoy it. Overall, i didn’t have a bad experience but I probably won’t go again.

Patra Madden: The brunch was lovey. I had the vegetarian breakfast which came with eggs, avocado, cheese, salad, fruit, chia pudding and bread. Everything was delicious. The only recommendation is to have some sort of a dressing available for the salad. Something very light which could be done ahead would be great. The bread seemed like a lift, crispy rye and it worked well with the eggs. My spouse has an omelet with smoked salmon which he said was very good. It just seemed a bit too expensive for what we had.

Andrea Gn: Good food and really very nice staff! The place is beautiful and overall a tasty breakfast. However! 45 minutes wait for scrambled eggs and bacon!!!? I would say that is excessive for this kind of dish. Unfortunately having to wait that much for two sunny side ups ruined it for me 😩 there is no reason for a fried egg to take so long.

Isabel van den Berg: This place is super overrated, don’t go here. The eggs benedict were fine but super overpriced. The service is TERRIBLE. We had to wait ten minutes to order because it was too busy? Well it wasn’t ten minutes, we had to wait around half an hour. Besides the eggs benedict the food was around a 5/10. The bagel was super dry and it missed capers. When ordering three poached eggs they forgot one. Overall it wasn’t worth the money and I would really recommend going elsewhere.

Austin Talley: Recommend getting a reservation because we got very lucky & walked into just before the rush. The food was top quality, I cannot thank the chief enough. The host staff & all of the wait staff are truly wonderful people.

Amal Tessa: Excellent breakfast, very filling and well worth the price! The breakfast full menu also has a coffee and orange juice included.Menu was extensive with so many options!Would definitely recommend and return!

Milena Lopes: As you can see by the pictures, the food was amazing, super instagrammable and tasty. My compliments to the chef!! But the service was super super slow... please do not seat outside, you will wait more than 10 min to get anyone’s attention. They do not care about you... but of course, the tip is included on the bill.

Pantry Brunch & Coffee: what do users think?

Rami Ziv: A tiny place with great food. The entire place has not more than 20 seats, so many chances it will be full. It took them 45 minutes to prepare breakfast for 5 people, there is no air-conditioning and the coffee was not great, and the only Cola they have is the German Fritz cola. However, once the food arrived , it was served beautifully and very tasty. Mushroom portion was especially good, but really everything was tasty

Jacqueline Anna Crickitt: A beautiful and warm little place to have a brunch. Smartly decorated. Lovely to be able to see through the open kitchen how food is getting prepared. Very kind and friendly young staff. A good start for the day. Very reasonable prices. Food nicely presented and amazing taste.Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Žana Vidic: This is the best brunch place in Budapest! You get the menu and write down your name than you choose 3,5 or 7 plates with different food. (They bring your menu back with brunch so you can take it home) There is only around 20 seats available that’s why we went there when they opened. When we were leaving people were waiting in line. In my opinion it’s worth the wait. I would recommend this brunch place and I’m sure we’ll visit this place again.

Aslı Aydın: Cute interior and nice staff. In my opinion, their concept of marking your order is unique and sweet. You can order pretty much anything from the food section without hesitation but unfortunately not coffee(that’s why I gave 4 stars). Beware that the place is a bit tiny so in busy hours you may need to wait to sit down. But besides that it’s a very cute place and worth visiting again and again.

Сабина Т: On the day of arrival we were looking for a good breakfast and chose this cafe. In general we were satisfied with the portions, the choice and the taste of dishes. Breakfast for two cost 24€ and the service was good) The only disadvantage was the small space , felt a little bit uncomfortable, but if you are not going to sit for a long time, it’s ok.

Brooke Noriega: Amazing!! Good value for amazingly fresh dishes!! Cooked to perfection. Every element I chose on the menu was impressive. Go here, try to get there before noon for less of a wait. Friendly service and English menu. (P.S. Please add bag/purse hangers to the bar seating!!)

Martin Steen Bothmann: Definitely worth a visit! Friendly staff and excellent food freshly made from quality raw materials. You select 3, 5 or 7 dishes and drinks from a widely varied menu, and the food is “made-to-order” so its always fresh and hot/cold. Staff is very friendly and attentive. The only downside is that its small (16-20 places) so you may have to wait – But its worth it! We visited twice and it was a happy we vent back.

Yidah Leonard: I dream about the brunch feast often! 🤤 Really sweet spot with tasty food and even better coffee! Quite affordable for the amount of food you get. Service is fast and good and is in a good location. 10/10 recommend for a quick brunch/breakfast while in Budapest. Keep up the great work guys.

Stavroula Stamatopoulou: Perfect choice for breakfast and brunch! You can choose your plate with 3,5 or 7 smaller brawls with different choices. I recommend strongly the forest fruit smoothie and the mushrooms. Everything was delicious!

Horizont - Coffee | Brunch | Lunch: what do users think?

Olga Rajna: Great modern spot buzzing with the breakfast/brunch crowd. Excellent food and coffee. Brunch menu just looks somewhat boring but presentation is gorgeous. So it’s hard to resist snapping a photo before you tuck in. Interior is simple, bright and clean unlike many other old fashioned cafes in the city center. What this place is lacking of is a quality service. They keep you waiting both to order and to get your bill with less than 50% tables taken.

Jess: Food here was just gorgeous. A fairly limited but classic brunch menu, there was certainly something for everyone and good value for money with the portion sizes. Myself and my partner really enjoyed the scrambled eggs (the name really does not do the dish justice as it was so much more than that) and left very satisfied.

sonelee makoona: This place is a gem in Budapest and I wish I went there for brunch earlier if I had known. The service is amazing, their cruffin is to die for, the ambience is also nice so is their decor. (My only dislike was their couches that started changing color as it doesn’t fit the standard of that place) Overall tho, you should give it a try for coffee/brunch cause it’s really cool and I’d definitely go again!

Malika Sriyaphai: Their coffee is really really great. Its a great place to people watch if you get a window seat. This place can get quite busy, I would suggest to make a reservation if you want a nice spot to sit. Food is delicious with great plating.

Lika: the light inside is very dim but not in a nice way - as if the bulbs are not strong enough Interior is very worn out, which together with dim light makes it feel like it should be a cheap grab and go mostly place, tho it isn’t They have a small menu, and my friend swears this is one of the best Benedict she tried, but there is only one vegan option and it’s açai bowl. It was alright looked cute. Coffee tho was excellent - I recommend their filter. Bitter and very roasty. Staff was ok, nice but not anything extraordinary Keep in mind 12.5% service fee (totally reasonable but still shocking for some)

jesper cort jensen: Nice place and good food, relaxed atmosphere. Located at a central location, sitting inside, with good open windows, to experience the city, while protected from the noise. Bénédicte breakfast with creamy crossant Was missing oat milk for the coffee, had a bit of judgement for using sugar in the coffee, but besides that, it was great

Nicole Scott (Nicole Scott): Exceded my expectations. The food was creative, bright and perfectly executed. The attention to detail in the salad was welcome.

Yulia Kostyleva: - Really tasty coffee ☕️- Breakfast is nice. Bagel was really good and well baked - Stuff is kind- Interior is cozy and modern

Stika Gastropub: what do users think?

Anna Hayat: Hidden gem of Budapest 🏻 The place is small but so cozy. We got the last available table right in the window, more like a bar table, but it was so romantic to seat and look at the window. The service was good, staff was friendly. We ordered royal Benny ( eggs benedict) with salmon and caviar and a steak sandwich with Angus beef, cheese, mustard, and sourdough bread with a salad on the side. As we had our coffee before we decided to go for a mimosa and vodka lemonade. Here we were so surprised with the size of the drinks 😅😀 It was very big, but so tasty 👌🏻 I loved my royal Benny, was really good 👍🏻

Sheriden Cooley: Wow! Best breakfast in Budapest! So many options and the food was so delicious! We loved both dishes. The Omelette was the best omelette I’ve ever had it was so soft and cheesy. The staff all know English very well and could make recommendations on the menu. They recommended an iced chai latte with rice milk that was to die for! Our waitress was so nice and helpful. Wish we could come back again but we leave tomorrow.

Seema Elremmash: Food was 10/10 very good and very high quality, you could tell the ingredients were fresh! Drinks were also excellent. Seating is small but cute and it’s in a nice quiet area.

Queenie Quynh Nguyen: Beautiful place for breakfast/brunch. Outdoor is overlooked to road, you feel relax. Staff are very friendly. Price is ok. Food is so fresh and good. Coffee is tasty.

buy heroine: Dog friendly! The service was fine, fast. Big portions. Every meal we tried, everything was excellent. Especially bagels! Recommended.Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Mokka Cukka: what do users think?

Sara Celebańska: Very good breakfast in Budapest. Both sweet and savory options were tasteful. Benedict eggs and french toasts were excellent, although the omelet could be better - more seasoned. Coffee was served in a very interesting and pleasant to the eye way. The only thing that was bothering us was that the tables were very close to each other. It was almost like sitting with other people and having a meal with them. Besides that, the place is worth recommendation and coming back to.

Cesar Desouza: I was at this place Sunday. When the waitress said to wait an hour and a half I gave up. I heard the pancakes at this place were divine. I came back on Wednesday. Pure bad luck. The menu has been changed and there are no more pancakes. I chose Császármorzsát, (Imperial Crumbs) with chunky strawberry jam. It tasted like chickpeas, with wheat flour. The very sweet jelly. I really did not like it. But the cappuccino was delicious. I drank two. The very attentive waitress served my order quickly.

I-Hsin Yang: Perfect. Perfect. I cried so much when I bit into the Mc Benedict with matured Hungarian ham. It was a legend, a master piece. A slice of melted heaven drenched over the soft bossom of the most gently cooked poached eggs. The powerful essence of the matured ham, resolved ever so sweetly, with the mild gentle embrace of melted cheese. All built on top of a well structured deeply flavoured bun. Absolute, perfection. I had not known the depth of my sorrows could be brought out and resolved, with a single bite of this gorgeous, blessed creation. A dish that brought salvation to my hunger, and my internal struggles. If there ever was a cure for uttermost frustration of the flestering agony that is life, it would be this glorious McBenedict. A rare find, that is truly worthy to be a benediction to all mankind. Blessed is this exalted dish. I. Love. It. Forgive my cheesiness, it overlowed from the Benedict.

Tatiana Tsybulia: Food was good overall. Amazingly served coffee with purple picture on top, quite milky taste, you cannot taste coffee much. Dressing on eggs Benedict was a bit sour, otherwise it was good. Pumpkin cream-soup was a bit watery but great serving. Overall I would say everything looked great but taste was okay, not exceptional. Service was really good, welcoming.

xgbdx: We came here for the colourful coffee! Coffee was delicious and fun and the member of staff who served us was so lovely and we had a really nice conversation with him! He explained he was new and was in the process of learning the coffee art but he did a fabulous job and we loved the coffee art! He was really informative when explaining how they do the coffee art and told us things we didn’t know! Would definitely recommend and come again.

Evan Kuo (Taiwanese in Madrid): The place is not so small, but there is so many seats if you come in the busy moment. We were there around 10 AM, but the place is almost full. The staff was friendly and helpful, but there is not so many workers, so you might need to wait a bit when the place is full. Their coffee was quite good and the price is fair, especially they made the beautiful painting with colors on the coffee.

Nóra Csóka: Great breakfast place in the heart of Budapest. First time I was served coloured latte! Had a lecso for brunch (menu has good vegetarian options). Service was fast, food is yummy. Interior has modern simplistic design. Love the atmosphere.

JUMP Association: Lovely! Really... Best coffee and cappuccino with almond milk! Elegant and romantic atmosphere with Polaroids and books! 2 minutes from the beautiful Parliament of Budapest! Before or after watching it, this is the perfect place to relax, reflect, talk with important friends and beloved and watch the world outside from a different perspective. The polaroids tells stories, the books and the wine complete the atmosphere which is good for all types of targets. Erika Gerardini

Ayçin: They have a cozy spot with pleasant breakfast options. The egg benedicts are popular. I tried the one with aged Hungarian ham and I liked it. The coffee was good too.

Katalin Dao: Lovely little café which is the perfect brunch spot to visit with friends or for a date. We had Eggs Benedict with Italian ham, American Pancakes with homemade Strawberry Jam and Nutella. Both were delicious and pleasantly presented. They serve fantastic cappuccino with mesmerizing coffee art. Very attentive and welcoming staff! Can’t recommend it enough!

Cinnamon: what do users think?

Brittany: This is one of the best brunches you can find on the Buda side. After watching my friends enjoy eggs Benedict the last few days, I was finally able to enjoy one here with GLUTEN FREE BREAD and no crumbs were left😋 The menu is very rich with all my favorite breakfast items and booze! And the best part, the staff was very very nice and welcoming. The restaurant is very cozy with minimal seating so catch it if you can! My group was given a complimentary apple crumble. Thank you Cinnamon cafe!

Gia Bao Nguyen: This is such a lovely Café with absolutely fine breakfast and lunch. They taste excellent, well done for the price. The staff is already very friendly. They have nice interior design, a few sweet corners to take pictures; and therefore it’s quite hard to get a vacant spot if you’re there later than 11:30.

Brandon Palmer: Phenomenal breakfast or brunch place! The lady spoke English well I just didn’t understand this is what the sausage would be like. The French toast is the best you’ll find.

Gabriel Hakulín: The food is good, coffee great. I had a nice egg Benedict - the sauce could be more interesting, very bland and not in a smooth way but straight boring. Espresso tonic tasted great. You definitely need a reservation here. The issue are the employees, girl that was serving had zero smile, she would be texting on the phone at the bar instead of serving the customers, she would let us wait and didn’t bother to say bye. The barista behaved much better, I wish she was serving us.

Natascha: Fairly tiny, expensive, and basic brunch place. One of their employees had absolutely no interest in being their (the young girl). She was not interested, talking with a idgaf voice and just couldn’t bother. When I “complained” or rather asked why my dish was missing one of the ingredients, she didn’t understand why I was asking or “complaining”. At the end I was given what was missing but instead of ham, bacon. About the food. My eggs Benedict was on a tiny, soggy waffle and missing the ham. Honestly just doesn’t taste good at all on a waffle and they should really put it on the menu that it’s not the obvious like a English muffin or bread. The home made lemonade I can’t recommend. We ended up leaving hungry and honestly not happy about the service. There’s better places to have brunch in the area and city.

Alex B (Alex): We came here and it was full. Luckily someone was leaving and we got a seat. The waitress was so helpful and friendly. The food was priced well and delicious! Would recommend.

gyula karakas: Large portions of the traditional breakfast foods, very delicious :) The place could use a better ventilation, especially in the winter. Try the bundáskenyér with truffle sour cream, I will go back for that.

Kai Haswell: Friendly staff, great food. I recommend the salmon eggs benedict and the Hugo breakfast drink (Prosecco, lime, mint, and elderflower). We lucked into an empty table on a Sunday but it’s probably better to make a reservation on the weekends.

BITE bakery café: what do users think?

Who is Artemii?: Pretty good food, however, nothing special. I have tried cheese omelette and croissant with prosciutto. They were both okay but nothing unusual. Fresh juice was very good for that price.

Krisztián Szulák: The Cinnabon style cinnamon roll is really great. Different what you would get in other Hungarian bakeries. Pricey, but once in a while worth it :)

A Heff: Great (and much needed) coffee plus a hyper-indulgent (if a tiny bit too hard) cinnamon scroll. Would go again if I was in the neighbourhood. Cute mugs too.

Daniela Shams: Where is the passion about bagels and food? Trist, lack of cleanliness. Tables in a restaurant must be always clean. All this grey and white is lifeless. I am sorry to say so. Hope next time will be better.

Zafri Farid: I had a cheese pretzel and a macchiato for a quick bite. The pretzel is just nice but the macchiato is really good. The lady who made the coffee is great. You can try. The location is good too, very near to Nyugati train station. 👍

Ya Shu: A bit higher price than I would expect but the place is good both for the sandwiches and the coffee. I had not enjoyed sweet rolls/croissants but my friends said it was very good. Hod dog bites and avocado bagel was quite tasty.

AdriAnne Laky: Such a yummy grab and go breakfast spot! I has the smoked salmon bagel and a bottled latte and it was perfect after being on a train all day. Very affordable and clean.

Rae Kim: just in front of the train station, good atmosphere, delicious pastries.

Guillermo Soto: Place is cute but the bagel are amazingThe staff is always smiling 🤗I really enjoyed everything

O P: 💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 Well done 👍 guys you made my day!!! This is the best place to eat BRUNCH or BREAKFAST or again lunch for dinner. Good option on brunch or breakfast . Have drinks as well like palinca or spirits or bear or Cider and is at a reasonable price. (I took a picture to see how big is the egg bread next to a big latte glass) Enjoy 😉

Michaela Lukáčová: Lovely place to have a breakfast in Budapest. We enjoyed various options from menu which is pretty extensive! There are some sweet breakfast meals too. Also we would like to recognize very nice and understanding staff. See you soon!

Nastya Petr: We came here on Tuesday morning. The whole place smelled like bleach. We ordered English breakfast and pancakes. The food didn’t taste good. Pancakes didn’t seem to be freshly made, but rather reheated and served with defrosted berries. The best thing about English breakfast were tomatoes. Waiters were fast and polite though.

Kseniya: Nice place, good traditional food. Gulash soup was nice as well as cabbage with meat. Drinks are nice as well. We had a really uncomfortable table and weren’t able to put out legs underneath, so we had to sit on a side - not really comfortable to eat… overall, nice nice nice Can’t say anything bad

Michal Petrov: A good brunch place, great looking location. Their terrace is just under an arch between two buildings which adds the little interesting ‘it’. Their coffee is great and the same can be said about a hamburger. The place is close to an airport bus stop and hence great if you need to refresh yourself after a flight.

Jamie-Leigh Brandes: Really great menu - loads to choose from. We had a really yummy breakfast, and great dairy free alternatives for coffee. Also a 5 min walk from the Dohany Street Synagogue so it’s great for tourists.

Rohit: Saw some great ratings on this place but my experience was nowhere near comparable. Asked for a cold Frappuccino which came as a regular cappuccino with 2 ice cubes lazily chucked in. The eggs Benedict came with what looked like a low budget cheese whizz sauce,’worse quality than the plastic cheese on a McDonald’s burger. Eggs were over cooked as well. French toast was okay at best, another lazy assembly compared to pictures from other reviewers. Not happy at all.

Amanda Bobyk: Nice spot to sit down for lunch outside, the interior is pretty neat. The steak was very good and the prices were very reasonable. I would definitely recommend for lunch. The cherry beer here is so good!

Jason Black: A very good place to have your breakfast and have a great start on a day of sightseeing in Budapest. We tried the traditional sausages along with some fried eggs and they were delicious!

Manuela Nankovska: Food was delicious. We had goulash and burger- very good . Waiters were polite. But....tiramisu was horrible. Dry cake with whipped cream -the cheap one. Could not have it.

Portobello Coffee, Brunch & Wine: what do users think?

Dana Bashi: What a cute little place! Tucked in a small street in the center of the city, this is a small coffee house. Looks like it is family owned and even if not,it makes you feel like it is a family welcoming you into their home. Perfect sized portions, great coffee and tea and amazing hike made cakes. We had the granola and the Turkish eggs (amazing garlic yogurt!)we finished with a Persian small cake. Absolutely delicious. Very reasonable price. Definitely try it.

Ivanna: Amazing place for breakfast. The food was absolutely delicious. The best, the grilled cheese sandwich. The turkish eggs were also amazing. And the pastry was delicious. Unfortunately the drinks were super disappointing.. They don’t have orange juice or any kind of juice and you cannot order anything outside the menu. The milk in the coffee looked curdled, had a sour taste. The other problem was that they were not accepting card payment and they did not mention until we had to pay..

Daria Franklin: Hands down the best breakfast and brunch place in the area. The staff is super friendly and very attentive. The menu is short, but every item is delicious. They also have a great selection of cakes. It tends to get busy on the weekend, so book in advance!

Vikalpa Jetly: Small high quality menu with strong flavorful coffee. Well lit interior space. Seating is limited but weekday morning was not too busy. Best brunch in Budapest! Highly recommend.

Maryam Tohidi: Absolutely amazing food, pastries, cakes and coffee! My favorite meals in Budapest, combined with great service. Will hopefully have a chance to come back here.

Anna A: The best grilled cheese it is! Great place for breakfast, good coffee, great service and most importantly delicious healthy food options! Desserts are perfect amount of sweet and salty, so you can experience the taste of ingredients without overpowering sweetness. And most importantly- best grilled cheese, so simple yet genius, creamy and crunchy, made my day!

Kata: It’s hard to find words for how wonderful this cafe is. The hosts create a warm attentive atmosphere for everyone that walks in. The food, pastries, coffee and wine are all of the highest quality and curated by people with years of experience and excellent taste. One of my favorite places in Budapest!

Budapest Baristas: what do users think?

Anett Balla: Amazing spot for breakfast or only for a good coffee. The staff is very kind and professional, the place has a great, cozy atmosphere. We have tried the avocado-goat cheese-poached eggs bagels as well as the croque monsieur, both were excellent. The portions are quite big and there is free water with glasses both in the downstairs and upstairs area.

Anna: This place is classic and cute. They have good egg Benedict and other food, of course tea and coffee, latte and you name it. The egg Benedict with salmon is tasty and very full filling. Also they have WiFi and some outlets near the wall so you can work from there as well.

Lam Ma: It is cute small place, but pricey. We ate croque monsieur, it is good, but not great, especially for the price. Also you are limited to one hour, when you sit, not when you get your meal. So we had just about enough time to eat.

Brian Starr: Totally 5 stars. Breakfast food, coffee, and service. Great cappuccinos and quality espresso. Also drip/filter coffee options! Only negative is the place is relatively small so for groups of 3 or more they have only 2 tables. The other tables are all for groups of 2 or less. Very recommendable place.

Martin Lutaaya: The meal(breakfast) was perfect. I loved it very much. The customer service was excellent thanks to polite personnel at this place. Only challenge was the space availability as there were plenty of people.

mauricio pereira: This is one of the best places for breakfast/brunch. The food is delicious and the coffee is just perfect YOU WILL NOT REGRET COMING HERE :) The atmosphere of the place is very chill with a cute hipster vibe The ladies at the front are friendly, helpful and always smiling (amazing customer service comparing to local Standards) Just a quick bit of comment I needed my receipt long after I finished my meal and the girls without even asking why or just denying my request gave me a new one :)

Klára Szabó: Really good coffee (not for people who don’t like light roast or speciality coffee in general), I had a flat white, it was perfect! I also ordered lemonade with grilled sandwich, I loved them, I will come back for brunch for sure.

Nikol Kaufman: Portions are huge and prices are relatively good compare with what you get. A broad menu with brunch options such as croquettes, Benedicts or omelettes/fried eggs. Coffee is really bad…

Vladimir Dzalbo: The coffee is amazing. People who work here are and pleasant and make you feel welcome. The food is ok. The only negative thing about the place is how uncomfortable the furniture is. Tiny chairs and tables make it not very suitable place to linger around for a long :-/

Cirkusz Café: what do users think?

elvira pons (Mediterranean Spice): The queue was worth the wait! This place has a great atmosphere and service. The food is very tasty, we had guacamole toast, bagels and pancakes. The banana pancakes are a must try!! What a great combination of flavours. The portions are big, come hungry and enjoy a great experience!

M. Andó: Amazing breakfast bar with special recipes from different countries (Italian, Belgian, Turkish, American and so on). Every dish is a little piece of art for the eyes and for the taste. Prices are not too high, and for sure they equal the quality of service they offer. I am very happy I found this place! Dietary restrictions: Lactose free and gluten free

Natalie: Famous place for breakfasts. Tasty coffee, beautiful breakfasts and very good service! We waited around 30 min in line to get in on sari morning. I ordered Eggs Benedict, but not sure I did a right choice. Other breakfasts looks better😂😂😂 Cheesecake is amazing ❤️

xgbdx: This was the first place we ate in Budapest and it didn’t disappoint! Both our meals were delicious and the lemonade is a must. Food presentation was a 10/10! The staff were all really friendly and the music was like a 2000’s vibe which was really fun. The only issue we had was it took a while to get the bill, even when it had died down but overall a brilliant restaurant and service! Would definitely come again.

Anto nella: If I could give this place 10 stars I would! First of all, if you see a line, wait in line because it is so worth it. Secondly: the environment, delicate and perfectly combined. The staff: what a marvel! Super helpful and attentive. Special mention to the chefs, absolutely an elixir to the palate what they cook, an explosion of flavors on the mouth. The coffee is so flavory and aromatic that it transports you to another dimension. The portions are very large. The cleanliness and order: super level, everything shines and is symmetrically thought out. If I had to use one word it is "excellence!" I highly recommend going and getting caught up in this place.

Lily Chin: Best place for breakfast! Had to queue for awhile but totally worth it. Both the food and coffee were excellent, customer service was lovely too during our visit. Definitely a place I’d recommend to my friends and revisit when I go to Budapest again!

LaToya Brooks: Soooo good!! This place was busy but moved patrons quickly and still had excellent customer service. The food was delicious. We had the waffles, pancakes, French toast, oatmeal, hash browns, and mimosas. Nobody In my family complained about anything so that’s a compliment in itself! You will not be disappointed.
