Mia Lamprou: The ruin bars of Budapest have a great history! Amazingly stunning alternative spaces in abandoned buildings!!! Such a magnificent experience!You must visit this area! Its chaos and eclecticism has turned it into one of the world’s most famous bars as well!

There was a guy playing American tunes on his guitar which was entertaining. There is also a small market that sold fruits, vegetables, homemade pastries and souvenirs.

I loved the atmosphere and the staff was all super friendly. We worked our way throughout the bar, and could’ve easily spent more time there! Everyone we met was from all over and so nice to hang out with!
Sarmizia Fetcu: A huge wow!!! A very hippie atmosphere in the heart of jewish quarter. I liked the spirit of this place, totally nonconformist. You can find in here everything you want: wine, beer, art graphitti, people from all around the world and street food just beside. Is a must on your list with places to visit in Budapest.

Lenka Pálová: Great food with the view of the Budapest. Prices were lower than expected. What we were disappointed about was the customer experience with the waiters/service, once we ordered, no one came for 1 hour to take the plates or even ask us, if want anything else. All waiters were coming to other tables but they didn’t even look at us if we want something. Everything was great except this.
Steve Briggs: Great panoramic views, a nice place for a drink. Plus you can reserve seats online including igloos (see through plastic tents) we where a little cold but still enjoyed. Service was good and prices reasonable for such a nice location

A bit expensive especially that just for the entrance to the club a 2,000ft CASH!! Which was a problem for us at the beginning. Its that Guy: Great place to visit early in the evening otherwise you may have stag parties to deal with. Views and staff (5 star) are outstanding and the burgers are to die for. Well worth booking and visiting as views are amazing 4 stars only due to sadly the lad culture. Remember the glass washers they were incredibly busy and need to be noted but often forgotten. Will certainly visit again when in Budapest.
Sarah: A very mixed experience - I found lot of the staff quite rude but then others really went out of their way to make sure we had an amazing time 🤷🏽♀️ (Benny and Letti were amazing) We had made a reservation to watch the fireworks and then suddenly a different server pretty much told us to get up because it was reserved for someone else, when I explained that we had a made a reservation and that one of his colleagues had sat us where we were instead of wanting to work out a solution he basically just said I don’t care and pretended to not know who his own coworker was? 😵💫 We ordered Mezcal margaritas which were very good although the first round were quite sweet and the second were considerately more sour (although I enjoyed them both) Overall a nice place if you a classic rooftop bar experience but I wouldn’t be in a rush to go back.

Robert Coufal: You will pay for deposit. If you want to return the deposit you have to have a plastic coin. But by the bar they do not give you that coin so you simply cannot return it... Cheaters!
George Astashonok: Great cozy terrace. the prices a little bit overpriced for normal prices in Budapest, but atmosphere is good. nice inside view full of natural wood.
Marina Pereira: The cocktails pure water and expensive. This was really upsetting for me. But the place itself is really fun. There are four dance floors, each one with a different DJ, all of them really good. My advice: get beer or cider and have fun!
Paul StJohn Mackintosh: A favourite venue for locals and tourists alike for a reason. Free entry, multiple bars, two huge courtyards (one half open to the sky with a tree in it), plenty of rooms opening off, and one of the most consistent DJ lineups in town. Reasonable drinks prices with some star mixologists. The attached hostels only enhance the vibe. One of the best, most varied party weekends in town.

Srijith T: So, I have been to this place to party with few friends of mine on Aug 3, on my birthday, I had an entry to this club through a local pub crawling event organizers, it was around 3 AM at a techno area and suddenly while I was with my friends dancing, some random security/ bouncer of this so called club, pulled my neck and violently pushed me out and made sure I am not looking back, it was so violent for absolutely no mistake of mine, and to add to it they made racist remarks on me, such a shame, ruined my birthday and one of the worst experiences in my life, Racists!!!! Don’t go to this place, they made the ambience to attract people with a bunch of rogues acting as security ! This place is such a disgrace to the beautiful city like Budapest !

Amal Mensi: Absolutely a must-try! The idea behind this bar is incredible/ they don’t have a menu so the mixologist servers you personalized/molecular cocktails based on your preferences. Now let’s talk about the staff: they are friendly, nice, polite and they spoke perfect English. It is a bit pricey but it’s worth the money.
Leonie: Went there without any expectations and we were pleasantly surprised. The server was very friendly and the overall atmosphere was perfect. They did not have a menu to order from, instead you could tell the server your preferences so you would get a personalized cocktail. The cocktails exceeded our expectations and only costed 9€ each which is not a lot considering the great quality and location. We also got some free peanuts and cucumber water with our drinks which I thought was very kind. Overall, we had a great experience and I would recommend everyone, who is looking for a fancier cocktail bar that is still affordable, to come here.
Aliya Nurgali: Great place! Concept of the bar feels personal, like you solved the puzzle of our tastes. We came as a group of four, all with different taste for flavors and yet all four of us were happy with our drinks! The staff is amazing too! Refilling the water and just small talk, great service! The bartender is an angel! Severus Snape of cocktails! (My friend was about to propose to drink her cocktail everyday)) All in all, 5 stars! Well-deserved.

James Riggs: The Boutiq Bar is a must visit! We had two drinks, a pineapple drink (pineapple cup) and a s’mores drink! With that drink you are able to roast a marshmallow. The bartenders were very nice and very helpful. The bar is a very small and quaint place. I would make a reservation on their website to make sure you have a table because you wouldn’t want to miss this bar for a craft cocktail!

Indya: A beautiful spot for drinks with the best view! We visited the other night, had an indoor table but still had a perfect view of the Basilica. This place is SO nice and the drinks were really good too. We tried some of their cocktails from the menu which were really fun and also requested some off the menu which they were more than happy to make - best passion fruit mojito ever!! The staff were super friendly and the whole vibe of the place was so good! Sometimes rooftops can be a bit showy but the drinks and service do it all. Would 100% recommend and revisit this beautiful spot!
Christine McCarthy: Fantastic place and drinks. Went for some nice drinks for my birthday with a party of 9 on a Sunday. Easily booked a table via website. Staff on the door polite and professional, showed us where we were going. A very nice bottle of wine recommended to us and a variety of cocktails enjoyed. Was lovely and warm inside and went outside to enjoy the views and a few pictures. Would definitely recommend.

xgbdx: This place was recommended to us and it was quite nice. We ordered two cocktails and the cold meats and cheese starter, this came to £30 which was quite extortionate considering how small the starter was too! The views were lovely and we even got given blankets when it got a bit chilly which was a nice touch. The only annoying thing is from the beginning we asked to move we weren’t able too because they were ‘fully booked’. The table next to us asked to move inside so there was a high table spare yet we were told that was fully booked too which makes no sense? We asked if we could move to the table on the far right of the second photo and were told that was fully booked however we stayed for 2 hours and no one sat there. We asked the lady if she could tell us if a seat became available but she never did. Before we left I took the photo of picture 2 which displays multiple high seats free but we were never able to move which was a shame. They were empty for over an hour too. Would’ve been better if the staff were more attentive.
Britta Kjellin: Super nice, good food, friendly staff, lovely views. Book in advance or you will have a hard time getting a table. For the best view the panorama tower is the way to go, but the minimum consumption cost per hour might make it the best choice for a party of 4-6 persons. The terrace is the chill place, best for drinks and snacks. After sunset also for eating, but make sure you tell them that you will dine when booking, or the high tables suitable for this might be taken. The patio will be your choice for bigger parties or dining before sunset if you want to have some shadow (there is no shadow at all at the terrace or tower).
Shaun: Highly Recommended- but make an effort in your Style! It’s a sophisticated Rooftop Bar and for the rooftop cool spots has a minimal €150 spend. - lots of levels and prefect date place too.
Eva: One of the most beautiful rooftops I have been to, absolutely magical! Every little thing is down to the detail, pure perfection. Staff is super welcoming, I hope I will get a chance to go there again.

Sofya Akimova: Amazing sky bar in the heart of the Budapest. A bit pricey but definitely worth it! A panoramic view opens from the roof (especially breathtaking at night). The hotel where it is located is extremely fashionable and fancy. So if you want to see the Budapest from the height it is better to enjoy a drink or two at this place rather than climbing St. Stephan’s Basilica

OMER: Absolutely wonderful! Mysterious ruins pub offering multiple bars inside. It’s huge..you could dance drink or chill. The place offers different atmosphere in various rooms. There are some funny decorative details as well. Quite popular amongst tourist especially Friday and Saturday nights.
Anastassia Moralieva: Nice atmosphere and vibe , you can chill if you go during the day as we did in June. On Friday evening there was a huge line outside of at least 100 people waiting to enter. Some of the bars were not open on Saturday noon so didn’t have a great experience to have a good drink there - just grab a lemonade. A lot of tourists are going and in the evening and I guess it’s overcrowded then.

Overall, I saw a lot of young crowd, groups of friends, drinking all the way across! There was no food in the place! Rightfully, so! It is a pure drinking place! The drinks were decently priced.
Y M: Really fun ruin bar but if you want a quiet place to chill this is probably not for you. When we were there in the afternoon, there were a load of people singing badly super loudly so it was quite annoying. The bar vibe is cool though so if you happen to go in non busy times maybe it would be a better experience. Drinks are in the more expensive side for local bars but not unaffordable
khushi Navdiwala: I can say that it’s fun time to go there . When I reached there with my bf we saw it was long queue out side of this bar but I was worth to wait for it bar. We had amazing time there. They have 2 floors and plenty of different rooms where you can chill with your friends. So many antique things are inside , for me bathtub was attraction 😅😅I had plenty of pictures there.
Helena Pynte: Be prepared to give your eyes a treat. You’ll be scanning every room and bar for funny, quirky and weird stuff. Loved it here! And to the contrary of what I’ve read online, the staff is in fact very friendly. The bartender even let us taste some wines before ordering.

Pablo Malkoes: I’ve been leaving in Budapest for 4 years and I don’t know how I didn’t come here before. This place is like a snow ball effect, every minute everything keeps getting better and better. The service from the guys is amazing, the cocktails 10/10 but the food? The food is a 100/10! The chef Jesse came out to explain how the dishes were made, and how the combination of ingredients were made to create those amazing flavours! Thank you all guys, keep up the amazing job!

Tamás Major: Great atmosphere and great cocktails. Starting from the classics, through classics with a new twist all the way to exotic new cocktails you can find everything. The staff is super helpful and attentive, always telling you the story and tastes behind a specific cocktail. For Budapest prices, it’s a bit on the high end, but worth every last forint!

Brent Duvall: Awesome little small bar. All staff was friendly. We did have to wait a little bit to sit down but the host worked hard to get us seated as quickly as possible. My only complaint was the bartender although not terribly busy was extremely slow to take our order and then get drinks out. However, the drinks were made perfection and very crafty.
Nikoleta Stefanova: Very special atmosphere with jazz music, kind waiters and tasty cocktails. Come here if you want to enjoy a good conversation in an intimate setting, listen to good tunes and drink quality and original alcohol beverages. I came here twice and I recommend it a lot.

taha: A hidden gem in Budapest. Didn’t expect this at all when we randomly walked in here. Great service and atmosphere. The fact that they make you whatever you want as long as they have the ingredients is really cool. I had a pisco sour and the missing nyan cat, both were delicious with the latter having a really interesting and smoky taste. There are more experimental crazy cocktails that I have yet to try. Definitely a new regular spot for us.
Vlada: A nice speakeasy in the heart of Budapest. It’s a tiny but very popular bar in the heart of Jewish district so I highly recommend to make a reservation as during the 2 hours we spent there we’ve seen lots of people being told they are full and that they can recommend another bar. The staff is great and very friendly, they seem nice to talk to and they know their stuff. The menu seems very small at first (even though they do have cocktails dedicated to vaccine types) but you can ask the waiter for a recommendation for something that’s not on the menu and they will definitely offer you a great option. The cocktails are nice, if not a bit too overpriced considering the service fee they add on top of the bill. Overall, I’d recommend to visit at least once for the experience with a classic speakeasy music.

Patrick Scalise: Honestly, the worst service I’ve had in a long time. The place was nearly empty so we asked if the bar was closing or when it closed- the bartender responded “I don’t know” like we had offended him. I asked for a gin off the menu, his response was “No”. I asked him for gin recommendations and he was rude then brought me the wrong drink and then never came back.

András Lux: A small bar in Ankert köz with good cocktails worth their price. Averages ones range from 1800-2200 HUF, with a few nearing (or in case of Flaming Lamborghini jumping over) the 3000 mark. There is a fine selection of whiskeys and other drinks as well. With eight seats at the bar, and a bit more at the walls there are not many places to sit. While usually not crowded, there is not much space remaining if it is. There is a single bartender serving the place. Service is usually excellent, if understandably hurried at peak times. It is recommended to visit during off-hours. Their own creations are good and it is safe to trust their recommendations.
Evelin Kovács: The best bar in town, Zoli is the kindest bartender. Quality drinks, good price!!!

Lucyna Mikicka: Ok, nice service. Mojito was not the best but drinkable, pina colada was very good, and "something with the coffee" very tasty. Bit tired interior, also no toilet paper in ladies room. Overall, good for cheap drinks, music not loud so you can talk :)
Padmaka Mirihagalla: The lady at the bar has such a primitive service mentality. Music at the place is garbage . Not visiting again.
Gunzaya Mishig: According to experiences of two times, the service is awful, especially the old serviceman is rude and curses at young customers who asks for a menu. Completely discriminating of youngsters. It does not give a welcoming, fun-bar type of vibe. The atmosphere feels repressed, uncomfortable and non-friendly. Would never go there again.
