Score! Sport Bar & Billiard: what do users think?

Anastasia Karpovets: Lovely sport bar! Lots of space, good beer (first time tried raspberry hoogarden). Love that each section of the bar has decorations for different sports.

Peter Close: Irish Tourists 🇮🇪 - Friendly staff, great pints, they do steins too, reasonably priced & a whole lota sport

Abdoul Karim Fadiga: Damn the design of the ruin pub in Budapest is cool. You can find most of all types of sport items and the ambiance is cool, mostly for this world cup time.

Widica: Horrible service. Walked down the stairs and waited a ridiculous time before we were greeted by anyone. Once we sat down at the bar we were almost invisible, no one wanted to serve us and served everyone else beside us. Wouldn’t recommend this place at all

Sh Sh: There is billiards and snooker, too noisy place with loud music They take money in the bathroom,,, nice place

JelmerS: Absolutely the best place to watch soccer games, but some people misbehave towards you, very disappointing, but the bar is highly recommended!

Jonathan Stokes: Unfortunately they choose not to have the sound on the matches. So atmosphere is suppressed.

Nwabueze Ifeanyi Paul: Nice place, we spent here a great evening, played pool 🎱Service was great, thank you for atmosphere,Especially thanks for music😍

Bas van der Burgh: How do you only accept reservations while it is the fifa world cup!?

BarCraft: what do users think?

Kiss Roland: Great atmosphere, inventive cocktails, and drinks . 10/10 experience and staff support, a little busy but still timely service. Various events every so often, the Halloween event is a lot of fun, especially with a costume as the staff are also dressed up and partake in different activities, this year there was apple bobbing as well.

Lucas Savva: Awesome nerdy bar with some real interesting drinks, nothing too alcoholic or extreme.

Yannis Georgidakis: Fun gaming-themed bar. The only reason I am not giving 5* is that the pizza we had was definitely defrosted store-bought (that said it was quite cheap).Definitely try the "roll D20 get a shot according to the number" menu.

Áron Fuszek: It is a bar with a lot of magic potion some of them contains alcohol. You can play with boardgames and with computer games as well. There are well designed decorations on the walls. I recommend it for who likes videogames and would like to be in that world.

Anna Vankó: Bit overpriced coctails, otherwise nice place to play games or boardgames. Consider reserving a table on busy days.

Teresa Sousa: Really awesome cult bar, with amazing thematic drinks and boardgames. The staff is really friendly. All-round great experience 👌👌👌

Derrick: For me, the atmosphere in the bar was not good enough and there was no music playing. It’s more like a place for a group of people to just chat or play some board games. (The drinks are very affordable, though)

Ziccer - TrollFoci Sport Pub: what do users think?

Szandra Rex-Kiss: During the world cup match I was there with my husband. A drunk guy provoked my husband that called him a “claun”, as my husband saw that he was drunk he apologised two-three times and tried to walk away, when another muscled guy came and punched my husband for no reason. Luckily we could walk away then, without further incident. Do not go there, it is horrible low class environment!

Bethlen David: Fairly standard pub with a wide selection of drinks - as expected on one of the most popular streets in Budapest - with reasonable prices. It has a popular Facebook page too which might worth a visit.

fra a: Solid sports pub if you’re looking to catch a football match! Big screens and lots of TV’s, solid selection of beer. Cheers!

James Brown: One of my day-end shelters..before the match starts! :)They offer monthly discount for students

Richard Szabó: My favourite sport pub. The stuff are so friendly, the foods are so delicious.

Jessica N.A: I liked this sport pub. Burger menu was very tasty. Vegetables were fresh. Beer was nice too. When you visit the pub during some football match at evenings, it becomes very atmospheric. The location is nice too .

Peter Curtis: Great staff reasonable priced beer

Csaba Békési: Their burgers are amazing! The location is way touristic, overcrowded. You cannot avoid bumping into wasted British bachelor parties literally anytime on weekends. Best soccer games avail on several screens round the place. Staff is OKish, grumpy with customers at times.

Winners Sports Pub: what do users think?

Jason Corr: Amazing. Bar staff are quick to serve and very friendly. Also they do a nice cider on draft which is hard to find. I would recommend anyone who wants to watch the football go here. Brilliant

Victoria Nagy: Super bar! We watched the AJ vs Usyk fight. It wasn’t easy to find a bar where they were showing it, usually they are only showing football.. The drinks are cheap! Great decoration in the place but there was no aircon 😭 given how hot it gets in summer in Hungary and how hot it gets when you get a lot of people in a small space the fan they had there wasn’t doing anything. They have air conditioning but it was turned off. Bring a portable fan with you if you are going to this place. Be prepared!

Ali R.: Nice pub with very nice staff. Prices are good as well

Marta Lieb: Very unpleasant experience. Bar tender barely moves. No milk no sugar for coffee. No ice. Bar tender made a very bad coffee but won’t even let us know that is ready.

Win Morgan: Good for football but the beer selection is rather poor.

Jacob Wray: The girl behind the barwas super nice, really made my night better. I think she was called Sandi or something? Please thank her from me!

Irene Marino: Good prices, nice staff..Will go back for sure!

Pub Game Up!: what do users think?

Alyssa Payne: Me and my partner found this on our first night in Budapest and we ended up going multiple times. It was a lovely place, lots of different games, a nice atmosphere, well priced and a good variety of alcohol and friendly staff.

Mr.W: Very fun place go play games. Also very good drinks. Unfortunately there were the usual service fees.

Bhagyashree Sandhaya: Super nice personnel, clean place and friendly priced snacks/drinks.You can find some English games there.

László Vörös: A nice board game pub - service was quick and above average, the prices are okay. An ideal place to go to with your friends where you can choose from a number of good games. The restrooms were nice and the place is very tidy overall.

Juan McGuinness: Fantastic selection of games. Good beer and bar snacks. Friendly atmosphere and good vibe.

Peter Stewart: Great location for boardgames in the center of Budapest. If you are in the are and like boardgames, this is the place for you. Its a small yet coasy place to play some good old boardgames with friends or family. All the games are for free if you stay there (over 200+). They also offer drinks (both with and without alchohol) and some pub style snacks (nachos, breadsticks [Ropi]). If you are planning to visit over the weekend or later in the day you will need to make a reservation as they fill up this place very fast. Toilets are OK, but nothing to write home about. Nice young guys running the place.

Sergiu: Laud, mistakes at the counter and quite expensive from Menu perspective

Szimpla Kert: what do users think?

OMER: Absolutely wonderful! Mysterious ruins pub offering multiple bars inside. It’s huge..you could dance drink or chill. The place offers different atmosphere in various rooms. There are some funny decorative details as well. Quite popular amongst tourist especially Friday and Saturday nights.

Anastassia Moralieva: Nice atmosphere and vibe , you can chill if you go during the day as we did in June. On Friday evening there was a huge line outside of at least 100 people waiting to enter. Some of the bars were not open on Saturday noon so didn’t have a great experience to have a good drink there - just grab a lemonade. A lot of tourists are going and in the evening and I guess it’s overcrowded then.

Anna Rowe: So much fun!! We did a bar crawl through the ruin bars, and it was a blast. This bar had so much going on, every room and nook at a theme. I loved the atmosphere and the staff was all super friendly. We worked our way throughout the bar, and could’ve easily spent more time there!

Jay L: Nice place to hang out with drinks.! From the entrance, this place brings me the other world. Atmosphere and surroundings don’t follow common concept. Strongly recommend someone who wants to feel new feeling in Budapest.!

Era Chaudhary: Great pub in ruins. It is a HUGE place! Unfortunately, I went solo and had no company to chill there and party, so it was a bit dull for me. Overall, I saw a lot of young crowd, groups of friends, drinking all the way across! There was no food in the place! Rightfully, so! It is a pure drinking place! The drinks were decently priced.

Y M: Really fun ruin bar but if you want a quiet place to chill this is probably not for you. When we were there in the afternoon, there were a load of people singing badly super loudly so it was quite annoying. The bar vibe is cool though so if you happen to go in non busy times maybe it would be a better experience. Drinks are in the more expensive side for local bars but not unaffordable

khushi Navdiwala: I can say that it’s fun time to go there . When I reached there with my bf we saw it was long queue out side of this bar but I was worth to wait for it bar. We had amazing time there. They have 2 floors and plenty of different rooms where you can chill with your friends. So many antique things are inside , for me bathtub was attraction 😅😅I had plenty of pictures there.

Helena Pynte: Be prepared to give your eyes a treat. You’ll be scanning every room and bar for funny, quirky and weird stuff. Loved it here! And to the contrary of what I’ve read online, the staff is in fact very friendly. The bartender even let us taste some wines before ordering.

Champs Sport Pub: what do users think?

Robbin de Kruyf: This is a great place to watch sports. we have been there and formula 1 was turned on especially for us. Great staff, very friendly a place to recommend 👋

Cindy Mitchell: Sunday night, 8pm, looking to watch NFL football. Went to Champs but were turned away because we didn’t have a reservation. The place was deserted. Literally just a few tables were occupied. The bar had several vacant seats but we weren’t allowed to sit there either. No reservation = no table regardless of how many empty ones are available. Completely lame. Pro tip; just go somewhere else.

Lauren G: Food was great but been overcharged on the wine. Ordered one glass of red wine (200ml) and was charged 1890huf twice - so 3780huf for 200ml of wine. Questioned the bartender and he said that is what it costs. Nothing on menu. A cocktail was 1400huf and beers much cheaper, just felt off. Let it go and will not be back

photini nicola: If there were 0 stars i would give 0! We chose this place to watch the football today as there is not much choice to watch football in Hungary. The service is HORRID we could not get the attention of the waiters to order and once our friend asked once more if we could order the manager rudely shouted ‘WAIT SIR’. Also when the time came to pay the total of the bill was told to us verbally and we had to ask for the receipt, note also that the credit card machine was supposedly broken. Highly probable that tax fraud takes place in this bar.

Esther Kooistra: Perfect place to watch sports games ⚽️🍺

P. Jolly: Great atmosphere to watch any sport, with lots of screen so no need to worry about your favorite sport being played or not. Good food compliments the beer and location of the cafe also makes it easy accessible by public transport.

Ötker Snooker Club & Pub: what do users think?

Asya Kosachova: Absolutely rude staff today! I’ve been here few times before and it was always an ok service. But today I had experienced an absolutely worst treatment from bartender in my 11 years in Hungary. I don’t speak Hungarian well but I do understand it, so I chose to ask few question about their current beer selection in English today, being considered to ask in advance if bartender speaks English. While I took a little pause to think what I want to order his colleague arrived and asked what’s happening. The bartender was incredibly annoyed with me and said (in Hungarian) “I don’t know what she wants”. What can I possibly want at a bar? 🤷🏻‍♀️ And the fact that he was feeling annoyed by a customer… am I bothering him at his job? I said that am just trying to make an order,he doesn’t have to be annoyed with me. They didn’t even think for a moment to feel embarrassed or ashamed. They started laughing. Who does that? I understand that you sometimes have rude customers, and Maybe they would deserve that treatment. But noone else should. I don’t know if that’s the fact that I don’t speak Hungarian, or the fact that it took me a moment to decide what I want but this is just not right.

Youssef Fakhreddine: Great place. Great tables. But one of the employees is very rude! I’ve been visiting the place for more than a month now, every time she is there she is very rude to me and my friend. I once came in, said hi to her, she ignored me and left the bar, I had to wait for another employee to come and actually help me. If she is alone working, she tries to avoid working. If I ask her something, she gets frustrated. Its sad that I actually enjoy playing snooker there, but this is making me not want to go there. Hopefully the management reads this review and does something about it. Unfortunately I don’t know her name, but hopefully next time I go there and there will be someone from the management.

Tim Lewis: Friendly service and nice location for darts & snooker. Only 2 minutes walk from the 4/6 line so super convenient to get to also. A good sized space with plenty of room for games, and also just chilling for a drink, etc. They have some outside seating too, with table service. Recommended.

innocent shani: Huge place with big snooker tables with quality of services.

Pradeep S: Nice little snooker club located near the city centre. Well maintained snooker tables. Need to book well in advance. Also has dart boards. Liked the place. Definitely recommend.

hranvik: Perfect if you want to be left alone. Not crowded, and relaxing.

Sanchir Zagdkhorloo: very good place for snooker lovers. but mostly the tables are reserved. so make sure you make a reservation before you go there. Rated 4 just because of its snooker room.

Renato Pavesi: One of the best foosball pubs in Europe, with an extensive collection of high quality Leonhart tables. Good prices especially for the central location. Plenty of live music, and the jukebox is on a self-service basis from a pc which makes it really homey.

Imre Kalmar: Foosball place with cheap but good quality alcohol 10 different type of beer. Friendly service and good groups are there. Easy to get there with public transport.

Keith Tappenden: Great little table football bar. Cheap drinks and friendly staff that speak English. Totally recomend it!

Örs Jakab: Several foosball tables for hourly rent on the cheap, 2 different types even, usually not too crowded

M Mudassar: Good one if you wanna have drink and play table football

László Bodnár: Very good soccer tables (competiton grade), cheap beer.

Ruin Bars Budapest: what do users think?

Mia Lamprou: The ruin bars of Budapest have a great history! Amazingly stunning alternative spaces in abandoned buildings!!! Such a magnificent experience! You must visit this area! Its chaos and eclecticism has turned it into one of the world’s most famous bars as well!

Marina Camillozzi: Please visit this place you will really enjoy. The atmosphere is amazing and it’s a really cool place to have some drinks and some fun. The ruin pub is something like different and I really recommend.

macarena Ramírez: picturesque place. good way to reborn a space with so much sadness. It has various environments. very good cocktails. I did not like the glass of red wine

Suzanne: Fun place to visit and have a beer or two! We tried the ipa, which we liked being ipa fans. Good place for people watching! There was a guy playing American tunes on his guitar which was entertaining. There is also a small market that sold fruits, vegetables, homemade pastries and souvenirs.

Anna Rowe: So much fun!! We did a bar crawl through the ruin bars, and it was a blast. All the bars had so much going on, every room and nook at a theme. I loved the atmosphere and the staff was all super friendly. We worked our way throughout the bar, and could’ve easily spent more time there! Everyone we met was from all over and so nice to hang out with!

Sarmizia Fetcu: A huge wow!!! A very hippie atmosphere in the heart of jewish quarter. I liked the spirit of this place, totally nonconformist. You can find in here everything you want: wine, beer, art graphitti, people from all around the world and street food just beside. Is a must on your list with places to visit in Budapest.

quadfly360: Really something different. Loved to walk around and explore each room. Maybe packed at night but great to see early in day for the photos!

Kiss Roland: Watered down drinks , albeit very cheap. Some cool themed events occasionally, but generally unfriendly and avoid if you have better

Davy Byrne's Irish Pub: what do users think?

Tim Byrne: Lovely place to grab a pint of Guinness or a Magners. The staff is very friendly and makes you feel at home. Update… Stop in for the new Irish Pub menu. The Bangers and Mash with Caramelized Onions was spot on. The burgers are a big improvement over those we had on our first trip there. We’ll definitely be back to try more of the breakfast and dinner offerings.

Tharun Thejus J P: The ambiance and overall look and feel of the pub was okay and not so great. I attended a pub quiz at this place and found that the pricing was on a bit expensive side, both drinks and food. Also keep in mind that there are less options for vegan or vegetarian when it comes to food or snacks.

Lloyd: Nice little Irish pub in a city with so little. Bar staff are sound. Prices are a little higher than other pubs but most likely down to the price of importing Irish beer and guiness which is completely understandable. The only place that was home away from home in Budapest!

Márton Mód: My favorite Irish pub in Budapest. The staff is very friendly. They have some nice beers on tap like Guinness and TimCo craft beers. If you hungry you need to try the bar food too. They have a great selection of Irish food and also burgers.

Dave Hartley: Nice little bar, good priced drinks

Willem Willemse: Was slightly disappointed in this Irish pud. I love visiting an Irish Pub everywhere we travel. This one was not up to standard according to me. And the toilet was disgusting. Beer was good like in all Irish pubs.

Anytime Bar & Entertainment: what do users think?

Joe Witty: Take your pick of a wide selection of entertainment! We booked a pool table and had a couple of drinks each. Drinks were good and very reasonably priced! A great place to go and relax at the end of the day.

László Kerényi: Very good service! They helped us solve an argument!Very helpful staff!I can only recommend this place!I hope everybody will have a good time here.

Daniel Burnier: Been there, wanted to ask a simple question (if they are showing a football match) but I was told by two employees that they were "in the middle of something very important" and could not even provide me with a simple answer. Totally unfriendly.

Tomás Silva Queiroga: Cool bar with shuffle board, bowling, pool, and other games. The drink menu covers what you might want for the night, and are nicely made. The food is acceptable. For large groups, making a reservation is recommended. They can have an “open tap” for the group. They speak English and take cards. The music and ambiance are festive. Worth for a drink or more after working hours, anytime.

Yvett Krilek: Cool place to have fun with family and friends. Bowling, pinball, pool and other games available. Many shots and long drinks served.

Tim Lewis: Great place for a gathering, whether 2 or 22. Organised drinks there for circa 25 and everybody loved it. Good food and drinks. Great music. Bowling lanes. Pool tables. Foosball. Air hockey. Shuffleboard. Heaps of comfy seats. Easy to reach location. Decent A/C throughout too. Recommended.

F (brizamd): Great place to play bowling, pool, darts. Well priced drinks as well

Juliette B.: Went bowling there with friends, the place is great, many different activities, you can book online.Had a great time, would definitely come back.

Backyard: what do users think?

Mirandia Berthold: Super nice atmosphere with chill music. It’s quiet, as it’s tucked back in off the street. Makes for a nice little place to go and have a cocktail. The drinks were good but just a little on the pricey side. Staff was very nice and friendly.

James Miller: Came on the F1 weekend and had a great service. Waiter went through the whole cocktail menu to translate all the ingredients - there could be an English menu but his helpfulness made up for the lack of this. Really nice setting and is quite hidden from the main street. There were no rowdy groups coming in either which was nice

Jordanne Hathaway: Nice little space. I felt the drinks were expensive for what you got and the drinks took forever despite it not being that busy. Also got my drink knocked all over me by waiter - it was replaced but a 12.5% service charge for a wet skirt is a bit much.

Lina Faschinger: Nice Bar, friendly Bartenders and good Cocktails.

András Csombok: We attended the bar on a Saturday night and certainly will return. We were thrilled by the flow of how the small team operated their busy opening weekend, they leave no doubt about being a big hit for sure. Attention to details was exquisite, even a glass of water comes in their beautifully designed glasses. Both waiters were very knowledgeable and delightful. We had a DJ on for the night with playing the perfect selection of music for the background that the crowd needed.

Stephen Irons: Lovely place in a great relaxed garden. We arrived after walking all day and were greeted by this little kitten who sat with me for 2 hours. If you like cats you should be here. Two little kittens live at the hotel and are much friendlier than the cat cafe. Had a few pints which were reasonably priced and some food. The menu is Mediterranean style finger food and great to share.
