David Velarde Gamez
David Velarde Gamez: Extremely lovely tea house with a nice and quiet atmosphere were you could spend hours and enjoy your tea. The staff was very friendly and even helped us to pick our tea. Even though it is situated in a crowded street a few minutes from the market hall inside it is very calm and relaxing. The place looks traditional and there is a huge variety of tees to choose from. The price for a tea pot is around 1000 Fr and per person it cost just additional 500.

Response: Dear Anna, thank you for visiting us and sharing your opinion ☼
jin Suzanne
jin Suzanne: Best place for tea that I have ever visited so far. I went there in order to buy some tea as a gift for my father (who is really a tea lover), but once there the varieties of teas that they offered me just made me wanted to buy some tea for myself as well even though I and not used to have tea before!! Some of my friends who are more familiar with Asian teas also agreed with the quality of teas available there. 100% recommended!
Wirth Balázs
Wirth Balázs: Still getting used to the new place, but the teas are just fenomenal, both in quality and variety, the staff extremely friendly, helpfull and suprisingly knowledgable. If you speak hungarian, the courses they offer are also a must!
Ilyes Kinga
Ilyes Kinga: Very unique and interesting tea house with high quality teas. Although the staff could be more helpful and kind with the people who is not a tea expert.
Márta Csulák
Márta Csulák: A friendly teahouse hosted by two tea lovers, one of whom is coming from academia. Seems like the less affluent little brother of Zhao Zhou of Buda near Castle Bazaar. Looking forward to their tasting programmes.

Demmers Teahouse: what do users think?
Alex M
Alex M: Staff more concerned with packing tea behind the counter than greeting or interacting with customers. Demmers in Vienna are quite lovely establishments and have a much better selection of rarer and more interesting teas. The selection here is focused on more common types as well as flavoured teas. We sat at the table for about 10 minutes. But neither of the ladies behind the counter thought it was necessary to stop their tea packing to at least say hello to us. The strong smell of artificially flavoured tea was also a complete turn off so we left after 10 minutes. If you want a proper tea experience in Budapest you should go to Marumoto for Japanese tea or the superb Zhao Zhou for your fix of rare Chinese and Nepalese teas.
Nick Layt
Nick Layt: Hundreds of teas and infusions to choose from. Biscuits from the jar as long as you buy 50g (about 8). Even nicer if you get the smiley guy behind the counter ☺
Zeynep
Zeynep: Very nice quality tea and rosebuds that i have bought in my first visit are still fresh after so many years :)
Khalil Mebarkia
Khalil Mebarkia: Perfect location and cozy place, such a nice staff, they are very helpful and nice. Even the quality of tea is extremely good. I would suggest this place to anyone.
Péter Winkler
Péter Winkler: The tea selection is just HUGE!! They even their own blends. Cosy atmosphere, and fun decoration.
Anne-Sophie Henrich
Anne-Sophie Henrich: This shop has really nice high quality tea which I can only recommend. It is not the cheapest tea shop though
Andrea GG
Andrea GG: The tea is great, the staff very polite and the prices are cheap! Plus, the location is perfect and the place is cozy.
Zenaida Hota
Zenaida Hota: For tea lovers excellent offer but expensive. Elegant mugs and tea cups for to buy.
Dudley Wright
Dudley Wright: The tea is fine but as others have said the staff is not at all friendly and borderline rude.
E Hirosaki

Shairil Bhardwaj: The best place to have the most delicious Tea in Budapest.Love the ambiance it focuses on the comfort of the guests. The staff is so friendly.
Siddharth Roy
Siddharth Roy: Nice cozy place and great tea! It’s tough to find the place as there is practically just a wooden door with no sign 😆
Nick Fionda
Nick Fionda: Once in a lifetime experience. This place would not exist where I live in the United States. The journey begins by entering a nearly unmarked door. You then descend stairs to the counter where you are told to take off your shoes and place them on a rack. You then turn the corner to see a seating area that appears to be a giant version of those carpeted cat playhouses. You find an open level then climb up to it using ladders. A member of the waitstaff partially climbs up to take your order before doing the same to deliver the tea. This place would be incredible even if the tea was lackluster, but it is the best I’ve ever had. The menu is full of pages of various types of tea described in detail. Choose multiple varieties so you can experience just how diverse the taste of tea can be. If you make it anywhere near Budapest, go here. -9.6/10
Jovana Bolic
Jovana Bolic: Unbelievable place, secret and cozy. Tea selection is super wide, and stuff more than friendly. Interior is a bit unusual, but very cozy.

Barna Szabó: A really nice place to relax, write essays or hang out with your loved one. They have some spacy rooms with regular tables with chairs or one with rugs and chabudai-style low tables for multiple groups. Small holes here and there for the ones preferring that. Zarah Røhling: Really delicious drinks. One of the best I’ve tried outside of Asia. I tried multiple drinks over the course of a few days, and they were all really good. Only 4 stars because of the service. It was fast, but staff were not too friendly.
Samuel Chang
Samuel Chang: We ordered the black sugar milk tea with tapioca balls. Milk tea tasted great but the balls were flavorless, it would have been great of the balls were coated with black sugar. But for a boba tea shop in Budapest, this place is pretty good
Sydney
Sydney: Friendly customer service. Helpful in English and Hungarian. Helped with ordering off the large selection menu of Boba Teas. Hot and Cold Boba drinks. Offer only medium and large sizes no small. We were the only customers ordering and eating in. Very empty place, dirty seating on first floor with customers trash and mess left. No bins available for customers to throw away rubbish. The tapioca pearls have zero taste, as if only boiled and then put into drink not seasoned in any sugar or flavoring.
Kit Jen
Kit Jen: Honestly, this place could be great but just lack of management. I was there for bubble tea and having to watch how they work and how messy the place was just feel like walking out. Things were left everywhere. A girl place tea pot on the floor in order to pour the new batch in. Stuff in the fridge without any cover. RIP health and safety. Image speak for itself. Though must give a credit and tee was great. Not too sweet. Perfect balance.
Nagy Gabor
Nagy Gabor: A bit pricey and there is a lot of plastic waste produced with the oreo and the pineapple tea (which we tried). Otherwise very tasty products and friendly staff!
Julia Park
Julia Park: Not fresh bubble I ordered the brown sugar milk tea but too less brown sugar. I thought it was an ordinary milk tea. They sell the roll-cake. I expected japanese style dozima roll cuz outside looks like that. But the taste was like cheap bread selling in the supermarket. The only good thing here is the late closing time
董雨晴
董雨晴: There’s decoration style is perfect, and cute. Especially the pink ball. It’s a really good place to take photos. And I recommend taro hot pot、sea blue ice latte.

Peter Sz: Teas are fantastic especially Orange Black tea with orange oil. Service is perfect. Everyone is so kind there :)
Boglárka Kabók
Boglárka Kabók: The service is below par. Unthankful, jerky salespeople who can give phlegmatic answers to every question. The packaging of the tea I bought was done carelessly, because it all fell into my bag. Despite the delicious teas, I am not willing to visit this shop again.

Demmers Teahouse: what do users think?
Dóra Szabó
Dóra Szabó: There is a tremendous selection of teas, steamed teas, filter teas, blooming teas, some beautiful utensils, mugs, glasses, but expensive. However, there are also defective products that can be taken on sale and not very defective.
Orsi Dombi
Orsi Dombi: They have quality, delicious and a wide variety of teas, although some of their items are quite expensive. There are all kinds of props, sets, syrups, desserts for the complete tea experience. Everything can be smelled and everything is kindly explained. The service is polite and direct. They have a loyalty system.
Gabriella S
Gabriella S: An enormous good selection only consistently weighs 90g which is cashed at 100g. 😑
Mauró Hajós
Mauró Hajós: There is room for improvement in terms of service, but even though the products are not the cheapest in town, they still provided a really pleasant experience.
TRPiiEEART
TRPiiEEART: Wide selection, quality products, helpful sellers! I can only recommend;)
Anastasia Dutova
Anastasia Dutova: Rooibos tea is more intense than a bioboot. The service is polite, the e-mail customer service is excellent.
Zsófia Simon
Zsófia Simon: Large selection.
Norbert Szakács
Norbert Szakács: There is everything from matcha to oolongs to English Breakfast.
