Byblos - Fine Lebanese & Levantine Cuisine: what do users think?
Basic Bird Travel
Basic Bird Travel: Owner and staff were very hospitable. We enjoyed the mixed grill for two and the best hummus ever! The kunafa for dessert was incredible and they brought out a complimentary sparkling wine. 5* service and food! Would definitely come back to this great restaurant in an enjoyable part of the city.
Response: Thank you very much for the kind review!
Paul Murphy
Paul Murphy: Absolutely fantastic restaurant. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Budapest! The menu has something for everyone. The flavours are amazing and cooked so fresh. Staff very friendly and we will definitely return on our next visit to Budapest for the Formula 1 next year.
Response: Dear Paul, thank you very much for the kind review!
Marco Savastano (SuperMark16)
Marco Savastano (SuperMark16): Everything was great, from the taste, to the place and to the service. The staff is very very kind and available. Dishes are quite good with portions and very interesting taste. If you want to try something different and particular from lebanon culture, I strongly recommend this restaurant. Prices are good. The only thing I think was out of place was the simple potato fries. For the rest, nothing to say👍🏻
Response: Dear Savastano, thank you very much for the kind review!
Samara Vantil
Samara Vantil: I have no words to describe how delicious and tasty the food was. The staff service is very good and polite. The place has a unique decoration and makes you travel while eating. Highly recommend!!
Response: Dear Samara, thank you very much for the nice review!
Dhruv Bhatt
Dhruv Bhatt: Lovely restaurant with royal ambience. We went there on our anniversary. We went there without reservation. It was full. Manager was so kind to give us a table after waiting for five minutes. I wish there were more vegetarian options. We had Falafel.
Response: Dear Dhruv, thank you very much for the kind review!
Maximilian Martin
Maximilian Martin: Byblos is absolutely worth a visit, if you are in the area. Both the homemade lemonade as well as the salads and the main dishes were perfect. I would love to be served a larger grill platter - but I also eat more than your average joe. Overall we were delighted by the quality of the ingredients and the taste, especially by the lamb meat. Last but not least, I heard the hookah is very good there, as well.
Response: Dear Maximilian, thank you very much for the kind review!
Márió Thassy
Márió Thassy: The food was excellent, the service was kind and prompt. We had a great time here in a really good and authentic atmosphere. The staff was nice and attentive. We will definitely visit the place again!
Response: Dear Márió, thank you very much for the kind review. We are looking forward to hosting you again soon!

Wehummus Budapest | Mediterranean Street Food Restaurant: what do users think?
Muhannad Al Shami
Muhannad Al Shami: Best Kofta and Chicken in Budapest I don’t usually write review, but this place is absolutely delicious; it’s authentic , juicy and the food is cooked to perfection. Coming to Budapest as a tourist from the Middle East, I can comfortably say that this place is the closest you can get! I encourage family owned and operated establishments, and this one is quite special. The chef is the owner, and he is attentive to every detail; from the quality and freshness of ingredients that go into the food, to the tenderness of the meat and top service. Vegetarian options: Authentic hummus👌🏼
Emily McFarling
Emily McFarling: The best falafel and best kofta I have ever had! Truly inspired flavors! Like home cooking! Outstanding hummus and greek salad. Nice relaxing, cozy atmosphere. Friendly, attentive staff. This place is wonderful. The owner/chef, Sherif, is so welcoming. You feel like family here.Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Yaroslav Olieniev
Yaroslav Olieniev: Super tasty Mediterranean food in Budapest. We loved the style of the place. Best hummus (it was carrot hummus) we ever tried. Chef Sherif and staff are extremely hospitable and kind. We’ll be back!
Molly Johnson
Molly Johnson: Amazing food and comfortable restaurant. The most tender, tasty kafta I have ever had, served with a nice tahini dressing and roasted tomatoes and onions. Excellent espresso as well. Falafel was perfect - crisp outside, light tasty inside. Greek salad had a lovely dressing and excellent feta (shown here half-eaten). Vegetarian options: Great falafel, salads, and hummus. Also some dishes we will try next time that seemed like baked mac and cheese.
Alex Doran
Alex Doran: Fab lunch spot - the owners are so lovely and do everything possible to ensure you have a great time. The food was delicious and portions were perfect. Would have been great if the mains came with pita/bread as we had a lot of hummus / sauce left to mop up and we ordered this subsequently, however overall Wehummus is a great place for lunch / dinner / snacks. Thank you!
Cards and Spades
Cards and Spades: The atmosphere is amazing. Any age can relate to the versatile, beautiful decorations in the shop. Service is perfect. Truly the greatest hummus I have ever tasted in a restaurant. Would recommend it to anyone who wants to taste something special!
Nur Ashqar
Nur Ashqar: The Food was amazing! And the service was spectacular, we felt like home, everything was made from the heart. We spent 2 hours inside and it was really cozy. I had Shawarma and the Chicken was so tender and the sauce was amazing! Really recommend this place!💚 Vegetarian options: He had Falafel, and many other Vegan and Vegetarian options, like Hummus
Bálint Viktor Békési
Bálint Viktor Békési: We were is Budapest around New Year, then at lunch time this superb place was luckily found:) Unfortunately I have a complex food intolerance, but the main chef came immedaitely and was able to offer many kind of foods. Service was also great and kind. I definitely suggest to visit this place once or more.
László Tésik
László Tésik: The food is really delicious, and the meat is high quality. I got a warm welcome when I got there, they treated me with respect and kindness. I recommend this place to anybody who wants to eat great Mediterranean food.

Hummus Bar: what do users think?
Madalina Andreea
Madalina Andreea: Lots of vegan and vegetarian options. Food is tasty and not too pricey. One downside would be that they do not offer water. The location is also nice and they have a lot of space.
josie green
josie green: really good hummus! super creamy and different to other hummus i’ve had before, and good toppings. by my own mistake i didn’t order a dish that had any vegetables or anything, which i think would have helped loads because it’s super rich and and creamy, and therefore hard to eat a lot of.
David Kwok
David Kwok: Hummusbar might just be one of my favorite casual food concepts ever. As the name of this chain restaurant implies, the “pride and joy” is the hummus bowl, which came with their warm and creamy freshly-made hummus with various toppings. The “Complete” hummus bowl came with golden chickpeas, whole mushrooms, and 6 tiny falafel balls, along with tehina, olive oil, parsley, cumin, paprika, and a small round of warm, fluffy pita bread on the side. I also got a side of their harissa, which added a nice spicy kick, but my favorite part was simply the crispy, soft falafel dipped into the hummus along with some chewy pita. I also tried the freshly grilled chicken breast entree, which came with three salads: Arabic (chopped cucumbers/tomatoes), sour cabbage, and Moroccan carrots, all of which were flavorful and delicious. Everything here made for an amazing meal that came at a great value in a clean, modern setting and with friendly service too.
Valeria Ariño
Valeria Ariño: Three words: Fast, Delicious, Healthy. I had a shakshuka with olives and a warm whole pita bread and LOVED it. The place is also very cute, it is in a food court, but with an individual terrace. Extra points for having whole bread pita option too! I was crazy about going here, and finally went on the last evening, and enjoyed it very much!
bob nassif
bob nassif: Dropping from a very good place to nothing good about it Ordered the chicken breast platter that should come with 2 portions of sides Chose it to be hummus And i was served this The waitress confirmed that sorry that is 2 portions. Its basically 1 big spoon Definitely not going back Thanks Hummus bar
Towarzysz PKR
Towarzysz PKR: Fast, easy and tasty. A great alternative for old school fast food. Even the cheapest option is quite filling. A big plus for the fallafels, they were well made. Vegetarian options: Lots of options. Parking: City center, hard to find. Wheelchair accessibility: Easy to get in.
Ludo's World
Ludo's World: It is actually very good. The location is hidden. I was going to leave for the airport but stopped here because I was looking for a vegan restaurant to eat at! Chill, quiet place where to enjoy a lunch break as well. The quality of the food is above average. Something that put a smile on my face was the girl at the counter taking orders(blonde if i remember well),like...she was slaying, such a funny and educated person. When I talked to her in English she acted like a diva but like a funny one who loves being self-ironic and she literally changed my day from horrible (since I was leaving the city) to amazing! Wow wow wow! Amazing Customer service! Great place! I wish it was a European Chain instead of only a Budapest one!
Pie Crust
Pie Crust: When we are in Budapest we always visit one of the hummus bars as the food is affordable and really deliscious. This time we had falafel with hummus and sausage shakshouka.
Esther Kooistra
Esther Kooistra: Kind and very quick service! Hummus bowl with falafel was very tasty

Mazel Tov: what do users think?
Desiree Ayon
Desiree Ayon: One of my top dining spots when I go to Budapest. Both the setting and the service are outstanding. Gabriel, who served as our host, was incredibly kind and accommodating. He also made some excellent food recommendations. Even though we were a group of 9, our drinks and food were still delivered quite quickly. Due to its popularity, we had to make our reservations two months in advance, but it was completely worth it. They had everything set up for our dinner, which was a birthday celebration. They brought a bottle of champagne and some cake at the end.
Response: Dear Desiree! Thank you very much for your kind words and feedback in the name of the entire team! We look forward to welcoming you back anytime! Kind regards, Mazel Tov
Terence Sumpter
Terence Sumpter: Wow. Book your table now! (Also, if you book your table, skip the queue outside!) but seriously.. get booked! Staff are great, atmosphere is fantastic and the food is phenomenal! I had been recommended this place back in 2020 when I first visited Budapest - alas I ran out of time and didn’t get to visit. I made sure of it this time and wasn’t disappointed at all. I’ll now also wax lyrical about the quality of this establishment!
Response: Dear Terence! Thank you very much for your kind words and feedback in the name of the entire team! We're glad you enjoyed the food, and you had a great time. We look forward to welcoming you back anytime! Kind regards, Mazel Tov
Angelos Angelidis
Angelos Angelidis: I loved the atmosphere anf the service was very good. Make sure you make a reservation. Quite popular place. The food was mixed. The starters were amazing but the mixed meat platter for two was poor, very dry meatballs and the same for the chicken. Quite expensive considering the quality but the atmosphere was great. I d prefer it for drinks and starters
Chloe H
Chloe H: This is a must for dining in Budapest. We were recommended by a friend and wow did it not disappoint. Whilst we did a walk in (got the last table) I recommend making a reservation. We tried and the next slot was over a week and a half away. Our dinner cost about £90 for two which consisted of 2 starters, 2 mains, 4 cocktails, water, jug of beer and two jägers. The food was delicious, the atmosphere amazing and our waitress was so accommodating. We will be back next time we are in Budapest.
Response: Dear Chloé! Thank you for taking the time to provide us with this lovely feedback. We are delighted to hear that you have had a great time when visiting Mazel Tov. Look forward to welcoming you back. Kind regards, Mazel Tov
Russell Kelly
Russell Kelly: We had the pleasure of dining at Mazel Tov tonight and the meal was nothing short of fantastic. We were hosted by Uri who went out of his way to explain some of the menu items to us and made our experience all the better with his ease of conversation and knowledge of the menu. With that said the food truly does speak for itself and my wife and I left not only with a full stomach and a smile on our face but also with a new cook book to add to our ever growing collection. Pictures are below but they cannot do the flavors the justice they deserve absolutely worth 5 stars.
Response: Dear Russel! Thank you for leaving us such a wonderful review. We are thrilled that you loved your experience. We put customer experience and satisfaction as our priority, and your review reaffirms the hard work we put in every day. We look forward to seeing you again. Kind regards, Mazel Tov
Jess Gillett
Jess Gillett: Loved this place! Some of the tastiest Israeli/Middle Eastern food I’ve ever had. You definitely need to make a reservation as we arrived on Saturday and I couldn’t get a table until the day we left on Tuesday at lunchtime. But it was well worth it.
OMER
OMER: Lovely place to both eat or drink. Quite relaxing atmosphere. Very popular amongst tourist. Good service and friendly, ok prices. Need reservation usually. Ambiance is great. One of my favorite must go places in Budapest.
Response: Dear Omer! Thank you for leaving us such a wonderful review. We are thrilled that you loved your experience. We put customer experience and satisfaction as our priority, and your review reaffirms the hard work we put in every day. We look forward to seeing you again. Kind regards, Mazel Tov
Nicholas Hood
Nicholas Hood: First big notes, excellent ambience and decor. Really a beautiful interior with an airy feel and some live music some evenings. The ingredients were fresh and the offerings unique and clever and tasted carefully made. I thought it was a refreshing change to the typical Eastern European cuisine. I usually complain about the sodium content being too high but here was the rare instance I thought it could use more; not a significant complaint at all… The real complaint I have and I think it reasonable was the alcoholic cocktails (we ordered 4) were nearly without alcohol. I suppose not a serious issue but when you pay a certain amount for a mixed drink and mostly receive fruit juices and soda, it feels dishonest. I think this is a quality restaurant that keeps an eye on everything coming in and out of their establishment. It can’t be a mistake, they are intentionally serving low alcohol and seemingly for profit.
Response: Dear Nicholas! Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We apologize for the inconveniences you faced during your stay. We will share your feedback with our staff and make the necessary changes. We hope you choose to visit with us again, so we can make this up for you and have a better experience. Kind regards, Mazel Tov

Dionysos Taverna: what do users think?
van
van: Attention⚠️ This is NOT a tourist trap! Its easily one of the top 5 restaurants in Budapest.❤️‍🔥 Please do not miss this stop in your trip! Staff was really kind, food beyond words, the deserts to die for, and the place is incredibly beautiful! You are given grapes and a rose at the end☺️💞 Prices are way too well deserved, the quality, detail, amount, taste... Go and see for yourself✨
Cristina Danuletiu
Cristina Danuletiu: Amazing place with excellent food and a great atmosphere!! It’s like you’re travelling to Greece without leaving Budapest The food is absolutely delicious, even though a bit price it’s worth it ! Picture 1: lamb chops with spinach & sundry tomatoes and potatoes Price: about 30euros The most tender lamb meat I’ve ever tasted!! It just melt in your mouth. Picture2: eggplant salad with pita - starter Price: 5 euros eggplant salad Flavourful and delicious We received also some hummus on the house as starter. The coffee is also good and has a delicious almond cookie on the side. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is so cozy and nice! We’ll definitely come back to this place!
Bilqis “Miki” Rz
Bilqis “Miki” Rz: Lovely Greek food with amazing staff who handles their customers with respect and care! Restaurant, restrooms very clean. Food comes with good portion, pricing on the high end. Not sure what was the special occasion, but it was a nice touch cos every lady visited the restaurant walk away with a rose 🌹!
Damilia Arzybekova
Damilia Arzybekova: Totally recommend! It was my birthday and they even took picture of me ✔️The best service in Budapest-very kind and helpful stuff. They even take your jackets and put in the cloakroom 🧥 ✔️Interior is so unique- like you’re really in Greece ✔️Food is tasty, dessert 🍨 portions are nice. Vegetarian options are available. ✔️Toilets are really cool-modern and so hygienic(sensors so you don’t have to though anything) ➖Food is a bit price( tho seafood is understandable cause you can’t find in Hungary ) ➖It is very crowded and quite noisy(you wouldn’t hear the music much)
Lucie Křivánková
Lucie Křivánková: It was an incredible experience! First visit to Budapest and we visited the tavern twice. The food was absolutely perfect - we had gyros, salmon, moussaka and a strawberry dessert. Very nice service. You also get an appetizer (hummus and bread) and grapes after the meal. The women got a rose, which was very nice.
Joseph Sun
Joseph Sun: Decent Greek food in Budapest, it is a pricey place but worth a try. I love more flavorful food, so this is a new experience for my taste pallet. Very nice 8.5/10
Róbert Szakáts
Róbert Szakáts: We went to the place for a small date with my girlfriend. We ordered lemonade (classic and mine with elderberry) and it was really delicious. We got some appetizer (small bread and a little bit of vegetable cream) and it was also very good. My girlfriend had a vegetarian dish and I had some chicken with rice. Both meals were plenty and really tasty. We order lastly a dessert, it was something with chocolate mousse and it was also delicious. The place is nice and has good atmosphere and the waiters were kind and friendly. At the end my girlfriend got a rose from the restaurant. It was a nice experience. The only downside was the price. With voluntary tip the final bill was 19000 HUF, which is almost 50 EUR.
Ivanna
Ivanna: Great place, delicious food, unfortunately the service is terrible. We had a reservation at 19:30 and we ordered 15 minutes after that. Almost an hour passed and they hadn’t served anything. The waiter was rude when we asked him about our food. When the food arrives it was so much food and some of the dishes we ordered were included in other dishes.. The waiter could have advised us about that. At least everything was tasty and delicious.

Csicseri Gozsdu: what do users think?
David Kwok
David Kwok: Located at the edge of the bustling, colorful Gozsdu Udvar restaurant/bar arcade, Csicseri (which means “chickpea”) is a casual, health-conscious restaurant with a menu of Mediterranean-inspired eats. The colorful Sweet Potato Falafel bowl came on a base of couscous and quinoa-brown rice topped with a colorful combination of four falafels, hummus, grilled sweet potato, salad greens, red cabbage, and Arabic salad (chopped cucumbers/tomatoes). I also got the Hummus Plate, which came with their smooth, thin hummus topped with paprika, herbs, and olive oil, along with triangles of grilled pita bread. Everything here tasted fresh, healthy, and delicious, though the menu prices were relatively high for the portion sizes.
Mattia Scanziani
Mattia Scanziani: very good food, fair price, very friendly staff. i suggest you try the falafel, were too good
Response: Thank you Mattia :) We look forward to seeing you next time! Chick

Alam Behlool: It is extremely hidden gem in the center of party district. I will definitely recommend everyone to visit at least once you are in the budapest. We had really good dining experience late night. The sauces were made with perfect taste. We ordered crunchy shawarma and feta shawarma. it was one of the best middle eastern taste we had in budapest. . Dela and Gabor were the Best guide ..we were quite running in the center for meet the appetite of our hunger.. we were extremely Lucky to find this peace of gem..
Camila Bolívar
Camila Bolívar: Their food is very tasty, and they also take good care of the presentation. Falafel is always fresh. Their staff is super nice! Recommended!
Response: Thanks Camila! :-) We look forward to your return!
Bence Répási
Bence Répási: Csicseri is an up and coming spot in the heart of Pest. The Gozsdu Court is one of the liveliest part of the district and with the addition of Csicseri it offers the full package of entertainment options. Perfect location, young and dynamic staff, and overall great ambience. And for the food: it’s great! Of course beauty is in the eye of the beholder or in this case taste is in the mouth of the beholder, but Csicseri gives the districts older restaurants run for their money. Crunchy Shwarma is a MUST!

Yidah Leonard: This was the first place I ate when I arrived in Budapest, it was recommended to me by a friend from London and I was not let down at all. From the time I entered I was greeted with such warm welcomes and lots of smiles. All the staff spoke English and were playing such good music in store that gave the place great atmosphere. The food was amazing and very filling. Definitely is a great healthy option with lots of veggie and vegan options. I unfortunately didn’t take any photos of the food as I was so hungry and once I started, I couldn’t stop. But I tried a local IPA that was also very nice. I definitely recommend tipping the staff as they are so lovely!

Dieter Thomas: This is my favorite place for Hummus. The Food is Fresh, Tasty and Affordable. I like it the Most outside, There are few Tables between the Street and the walking way. Tip: There are some Places for Hummus in Budapest, but only this one has the original Oven to bake the Bread/Lafa. Have a look how the cook is making the Bread.
Response: Dear Dieter Thomas, We would like to say thank you for rating our restaurant and giving us feedback about your experiences! Our guests’ feedbacks are really important for us! It makes us really happy that we are your favorite restaurant, and you adore our delicious hummus meals! Thank you so much for highlighting and sharing that we always use fresh, tasty ingredients only and we are an affordable place in Budapest. Also, thank you for the tip for other guests, we wait everyone with a warm welcome! Once again thank you for this amazing feedback! We can’t wait to see you again! Best wishes, hummusbar management
Roland Trimmel
Roland Trimmel: Excellent. Simply the best hummus in town — and the laffa is always amazing. It’s freshly made, and it’s the only place in town serving you a laffa. All the ingredients of the hummus and add-ons are fresh from the market, either of the bowls is a delight to have. There’s home-made ice tea to chose from, not sweet at all (hardly any sugar added, if any). Service is excellent, much recommended.
Response: Dear Roland Trimmel, We would like to say thank you for taking your time to rate hummusbar! We are happy that you visited our restaurant. Thank you for mentioning our delicious, special meals, we are glad you liked it! Also, we appreciate that you highlighted that we only use fresh ingredients. We are glad you enjoyed our tea as well. Response: Dear Vladimir, Thank you for the kind recommendation and the 5 stars. We are glad you enjoyed your time at hummusbar. Best wishes, hummusbar management
David Kwok
David Kwok: Hummusbar is one of my favorite casual chain restaurants ever for its menu of hummus bowls, shakshuka, pita sandwiches, and more. But this particular location has a hidden bonus: a taboon oven where fresh rounds of laffa flatbread are made fresh all day long! The rounds of dough are rolled out and stuck to the side of the oven (much like how naan is made in a tandoor oven), and the yeasty dough puffs up and crisps against the fire. On my visit, I ordered the Salad Hummus Bowl, which came with their creamy hummus topped with 3 little falafels, Arab salad (chopped cucumber/tomato), sour cabbage, spiced Moroccan carrots, and slices of fried eggplant, along with a round of laffa bread, which was thin and crispy in the center and nicely chewy on the edges. The bread was an amazing complement to the hummus, falafel, and salads, and worth coming for all on its own!
Response: Dear David, We highly appreciate you heartwarming review. Thank you so much! Hope to serve you again very soon! Best wishes, hummusbar management
bruno perez
bruno perez: Great hummus with well balances price taking into account it is the center of Budapest. The quality of the food is pretty good. They gave us free-spicy-dressing. They made us 10% discount because we were students.
Luca Bravo (Breiv7)
Luca Bravo (Breiv7): Lunch, i took a kebab bowl, a plate with hummus, a pita and homemade fries. Very good and tasty, nice pop music and atmosphere.

Kerem Gok: I like hummusbar all around town. Their meatballs are great. We went this one with my family. The side dishes were excellent (hummus and salad). Unfortunately the meatballs were not that perfect. The meat was not good. Anyway the place was good and i believe it was for a coincidence.

C Grum
C Grum: Really nice food. I dont like the idea of a female employee on the street that asks people to come into the shop. It doesnt work and most of the time it makes me choose a different shop. Good looking girl though. Hi thanks for the answer, I understand its much used to attract customers that way, i’m just not sure it works as intended. And im a big fan of females so thats not the issue.
Response: Dear C, Thank you for the complements. About the food and our colleague as well. May it be strange, but at many places restaurants ask people wondering around to come in and try their dishes. Most of our employees are female. We hope this didn't offend you. Please visit us again if you are in town! Best wishes, hummusbar management

The falafels and sabich plates are my favorite but there is a lot of other choices. Václav Gabriel: Everything was tasty. We had falafel, shakshuka and pita.

Natascha
Natascha: The food portions seem smaller when you get take out, then when you eat in... The side salad really needed some salt and I unfortunately had a black hair in my hummus. Otherwise it’s good and they have a good and big selection.
Zdenka Doma
Zdenka Doma: Food is pretty good, but if they run out of pita and they offer you falafel make sure you check it. Especially if you ask for take away. Two piece seems a rip off especially if its about compensating some of your basic item, in this case pita🙈

Mazi Greek Kitchen: what do users think?
Bill
Bill: As a Greek I have to say that the food was very good. I was positively surprised by the way they twisted the design and flavor of traditional greek dishes into something more modern. The waiters are also extremely friendly and very professional. Ευχαριστούμε :)
Vivien Slíž
Vivien Slíž: Incredible place. Very nice service - could not ask for better. The food and the drinks were exceptional. As a gift we got their homemade ice cream which was a perfect ending to a perfect dinner. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys Greek food (and vibes). 10/10
Response: Dear Vivien, thank You very much for the very kind review, we most certainly hope to see you back soon!...☀️🇬🇷
Ouissal Benameur
Ouissal Benameur: The food and desserts were excellent! We tried the 24h hour marinated chicken and the kebab, both were very delicious and extremely soft. The soufflé was nice as well, make sure to try their homemade ice cream, it was very tasty. They also gave us 2 additional scoops as a compliment. The restaurant was clean and the staff were friendly.
Nicholas Hood
Nicholas Hood: Very impressed! The sort of place you light come back the very next night. Quality all the way through the experience; service, ingredients, presentation… We had enthusiastic and helpful staff, very positive and happy to serve. We had the spicy grilled feta and tomato and the house falafel and hummus, and the veal sausage with cream and tomato and more. We are every single portion off of the plates. The wines by the glass (or bottle) were excellent! Some great local wines and Greek wines and Transylvanian wines as well. A memorable experience!
Noémi Ilyés
Noémi Ilyés: This place was a random find but it definitely exceeded our expectations. Wide variety of traditional Greek food are available. The Greek yogurt with honey is a very basic option, but the portion was huge, filling and very delicious. We also got some dessert (even complimentary ice cream) and the service was wonderful! We also really liked the interior design, the place is newly renovated. Would highly recommend trying it out if you’re craving some Greek food in Budapest.
Martin Roberts
Martin Roberts: A modern fresh Greek restaurant with a great interior decor and vibe. Very friendly service and great food at reasonable prices. Recommend a visit.
Milan G
Milan G: Great food and service, peaceful street. Staff are amazing. This is the way how a restaurant should have employees. Well mannered, trained, just good and polite. Special thanks for the evening crew on saturday 20:30h, 13.august 2022.(including young lady with eyeglasses). Food was nice, portions are nice and fresh. Vegetarian options: Not too much but there are some nice salads. Parking: Public parking on the street.
Youssef Salama
Youssef Salama: One of the best dining experiences I had in Budapest, definitely worth spending the time and adding a review for! The staff was genuinely friendly, attentive and helpful! The food was also quite exceptional and delicious - and despite the restaurant getting busy at dinner time, everything was done perfectly.

Robinson Restaurant: what do users think?
Philippe Jacques Kradolfer
Philippe Jacques Kradolfer: The Robinson Restaurant at the shore of the Városligeti Lake in the Lake City Park is a wonderful alternative to the many good restaurants you find in Budapest. The location is superb with a great view of the lake. The food was delicious with some very good and interesting Hungarian dishes. The geese liver plate was very nicely presented and delicious. Although the service was very slow, the day we were there, the friendly staff, the quality of the food and the great location makes this a 5 star place to go in Budapest.
Karthik Srinivasan
Karthik Srinivasan: Fantastic restaurant with a brilliant view next to the lake, excellent selection of menu. I had a beef shoulder, which was cooked to perfection, couple of whiskeys and the milk chocolate dessert was a great finisher. The staff are great, have visited this place multiple times and looking forward to visit again.
Christian Harris
Christian Harris: Come for the view, not the service or food. I’ve been twice before (2008, when it was amazing; 2015 when it was ok) and the view and setting is definitely spectacular. Very romantic too. We were shown good seats (I made reservations) and they tried to steer us to the steak menu. This is not what I would consider a steak restaurant. We tried several wines. They were awful and extremely expensive. They waiter lost his temper with us and told us to take his advice and order the most expensive. Which we did, because their other red wines were terrible. Why sell awful wine which even your junior waiters (he was no sommelier!) know they are undrinkable? We give it two stars for the ambience. The food was ok (nothing exceptional), the service was awful (loosing their temper??) and it was expensive!
גפן הורביץ
גפן הורביץ: Very expensive ...But nice view on the lake. They took 15% tip but the service was pretty slow...And 2000 huf on water is a little over priced..Food: 5/5 | Service: 3/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Ivana Todorovic
Ivana Todorovic: Amazing view of the park over the lake. Great service and great food (the best goulash and great angus beef too). It’s always crowded, and you need to make a reservation at least a day in advance if you want to get the table here.
Peto Fallas
Peto Fallas: Excellent option for lunch. Ferly prized. You have a lake in front of you, and the main baths are closed by. The salmon was incredible. My son ordered the best burger I have ever tried (yes…I ate some of his food..dad was hungry). They also had Argentinan Malbec…which is sold out many times in Argentina.
