Dionysos Taverna: what do users think?
van
van: Attention⚠️ This is NOT a tourist trap! Its easily one of the top 5 restaurants in Budapest.❤️‍🔥 Please do not miss this stop in your trip! Staff was really kind, food beyond words, the deserts to die for, and the place is incredibly beautiful! You are given grapes and a rose at the end☺️💞 Prices are way too well deserved, the quality, detail, amount, taste... Go and see for yourself✨
Cristina Danuletiu
Cristina Danuletiu: Amazing place with excellent food and a great atmosphere!! It’s like you’re travelling to Greece without leaving Budapest The food is absolutely delicious, even though a bit price it’s worth it ! Picture 1: lamb chops with spinach & sundry tomatoes and potatoes Price: about 30euros The most tender lamb meat I’ve ever tasted!! It just melt in your mouth. Picture2: eggplant salad with pita - starter Price: 5 euros eggplant salad Flavourful and delicious We received also some hummus on the house as starter. The coffee is also good and has a delicious almond cookie on the side. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is so cozy and nice! We’ll definitely come back to this place!
Bilqis “Miki” Rz
Bilqis “Miki” Rz: Lovely Greek food with amazing staff who handles their customers with respect and care! Restaurant, restrooms very clean. Food comes with good portion, pricing on the high end. Not sure what was the special occasion, but it was a nice touch cos every lady visited the restaurant walk away with a rose 🌹!
Damilia Arzybekova
Damilia Arzybekova: Totally recommend! It was my birthday and they even took picture of me ✔️The best service in Budapest-very kind and helpful stuff. They even take your jackets and put in the cloakroom 🧥 ✔️Interior is so unique- like you’re really in Greece ✔️Food is tasty, dessert 🍨 portions are nice. Vegetarian options are available. ✔️Toilets are really cool-modern and so hygienic(sensors so you don’t have to though anything) ➖Food is a bit price( tho seafood is understandable cause you can’t find in Hungary ) ➖It is very crowded and quite noisy(you wouldn’t hear the music much)
Lucie Křivánková
Lucie Křivánková: It was an incredible experience! First visit to Budapest and we visited the tavern twice. The food was absolutely perfect - we had gyros, salmon, moussaka and a strawberry dessert. Very nice service. You also get an appetizer (hummus and bread) and grapes after the meal. The women got a rose, which was very nice.
Joseph Sun
Joseph Sun: Decent Greek food in Budapest, it is a pricey place but worth a try. I love more flavorful food, so this is a new experience for my taste pallet. Very nice 8.5/10
Róbert Szakáts
Róbert Szakáts: We went to the place for a small date with my girlfriend. We ordered lemonade (classic and mine with elderberry) and it was really delicious. We got some appetizer (small bread and a little bit of vegetable cream) and it was also very good. My girlfriend had a vegetarian dish and I had some chicken with rice. Both meals were plenty and really tasty. We order lastly a dessert, it was something with chocolate mousse and it was also delicious. The place is nice and has good atmosphere and the waiters were kind and friendly. At the end my girlfriend got a rose from the restaurant. It was a nice experience. The only downside was the price. With voluntary tip the final bill was 19000 HUF, which is almost 50 EUR.
Ivanna
Ivanna: Great place, delicious food, unfortunately the service is terrible. We had a reservation at 19:30 and we ordered 15 minutes after that. Almost an hour passed and they hadn’t served anything. The waiter was rude when we asked him about our food. When the food arrives it was so much food and some of the dishes we ordered were included in other dishes.. The waiter could have advised us about that. At least everything was tasty and delicious.

Mazi Greek Kitchen: what do users think?
Bill
Bill: As a Greek I have to say that the food was very good. I was positively surprised by the way they twisted the design and flavor of traditional greek dishes into something more modern. The waiters are also extremely friendly and very professional. Ευχαριστούμε :)
Vivien Slíž
Vivien Slíž: Incredible place. Very nice service - could not ask for better. The food and the drinks were exceptional. As a gift we got their homemade ice cream which was a perfect ending to a perfect dinner. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys Greek food (and vibes). 10/10
Response: Dear Vivien, thank You very much for the very kind review, we most certainly hope to see you back soon!...☀️🇬🇷
Ouissal Benameur
Ouissal Benameur: The food and desserts were excellent! We tried the 24h hour marinated chicken and the kebab, both were very delicious and extremely soft. The soufflé was nice as well, make sure to try their homemade ice cream, it was very tasty. They also gave us 2 additional scoops as a compliment. The restaurant was clean and the staff were friendly.
Nicholas Hood
Nicholas Hood: Very impressed! The sort of place you light come back the very next night. Quality all the way through the experience; service, ingredients, presentation… We had enthusiastic and helpful staff, very positive and happy to serve. We had the spicy grilled feta and tomato and the house falafel and hummus, and the veal sausage with cream and tomato and more. We are every single portion off of the plates. The wines by the glass (or bottle) were excellent! Some great local wines and Greek wines and Transylvanian wines as well. A memorable experience!
Noémi Ilyés
Noémi Ilyés: This place was a random find but it definitely exceeded our expectations. Wide variety of traditional Greek food are available. The Greek yogurt with honey is a very basic option, but the portion was huge, filling and very delicious. We also got some dessert (even complimentary ice cream) and the service was wonderful! We also really liked the interior design, the place is newly renovated. Would highly recommend trying it out if you’re craving some Greek food in Budapest.
Martin Roberts
Martin Roberts: A modern fresh Greek restaurant with a great interior decor and vibe. Very friendly service and great food at reasonable prices. Recommend a visit.
Milan G
Milan G: Great food and service, peaceful street. Staff are amazing. This is the way how a restaurant should have employees. Well mannered, trained, just good and polite. Special thanks for the evening crew on saturday 20:30h, 13.august 2022.(including young lady with eyeglasses). Food was nice, portions are nice and fresh. Vegetarian options: Not too much but there are some nice salads. Parking: Public parking on the street.
Youssef Salama
Youssef Salama: One of the best dining experiences I had in Budapest, definitely worth spending the time and adding a review for! The staff was genuinely friendly, attentive and helpful! The food was also quite exceptional and delicious - and despite the restaurant getting busy at dinner time, everything was done perfectly.

Mythos The Greek: what do users think?
Karla Fernandes
Karla Fernandes: Delicious and really authentic Greek food. Amazing service, good location, nice area to walk around. P.S.: The bathroom has a super soap, don’t forget to give it a try :)
Tristan Quilter
Tristan Quilter: A very good Greek restaurant for being in Hungary. Great flavour and good size portions. A decent range of drinks but still had mocktails which are hard to find in Hungary. Service was alright, but looked low on staff but the staff that were present helped when they could. Good price for this section of town compared to restaurants a few doors down from it.
Andreea Gligor
Andreea Gligor: I was a little disappointed with the food I received. The chicken souvlaki was cold, tasteless and the potatoes old and cold. shrimps with tomato sauce, it was a reheated stew. Bouyourdy total disappointment. Some yogurt or cream cheese with a ball of mozzarella or cheese, with paprika... no tomatoes, no peppers... very poor quality. The pita was not fresh. It was reheated. Disappointing!
Dominik Réz
Dominik Réz: Fantastic atmosphere, excellent food, very good service. You can find traditional tavern food like saganaki, grilled calamari, keftedes, dips and pita and a la carté dishes as well. The moussaka and Galaktobureko is a must try, drinking ouzo and mythos from Greece. authentic as it can be.
Nadir Has
Nadir Has: Great restaurant, authentic greek food, a nice surprise. We had Kleftiko, excellebt choice. It is a good option if you like it greek food, prices, for eg a diiner 2 persons with a bottle of wine, around 50 euro.
Orsolya Demjen
Orsolya Demjen: It is a really nice restaurant with authentic vibes. The food was delicious, the only thing was missing a little bit feta and some green-onion salat mix to the dishes. But the owners make it up to us because there was no available table at first - a lot of people just hung on the phone for hours ordering nothing - and they were handeling this situation in the most polite way, so we could sit down.
sonelee makoona
sonelee makoona: A little overpriced for the food/ portion you get to be honest. The service is not bad, but is very slow… we waited for a long time to be asked our order and even the drinks took a long time. The waiters are not so welcoming and accommodating in my opinion. The mezze plate we took to share was tasty tho but overall I don’t think I would go there again.

Response: Thank you!
Martyn Z
Martyn Z: Came across here purely by chance. Great food. Fresh, tasty and good potions. The shop staff were, without doubt the happiest most cheerful people we had met in a week in Budapest. Food cooked to perfection by a cook who was dancing at the same time. Great experience, loved it

adrienn mohai: A good choice to eat gyros in the area. Taste and the portions are ok, some fresh herbs (like oregano) could be added to platters to make them nicer. Expect a long wait and bear in mind that this is a lunch place - they close at 14.30!
Matvei Ermakov
Matvei Ermakov: Gyros very delicious, huge variety of choice, BUT they work only till 3 p.m which is very unfortunate.

Its available on food panda and wolt. But if you are going to the restaurant for a take away, be prepared to stand in a queue. But its worth the wait and price🙂. Place is open only till 3 pm in the afternoon. Not open on weekends.

Stefan Popescu
Stefan Popescu: Tasty greek food located close to St. Stephan’s Basilica. Fast and friendly service. Especially liked the way they layered the gyros so you get a bite of everything until the end of it. Would have eaten outside on their terrace, but it was a sunny day and they didn’t have sun shade umbrellas.

Aslı Aydın
Aslı Aydın: Even though we visited in the rush hour and told to wait min. of 20 minutes, our service was pretty fast. Ordered gyros pita and my personal favorite, Mythos beer. Gyros was pretty delicious and well structured, not a single ingredient fell out of my wrap. Prices may be slightly higher than the average but for the interior design, location, service and taste; it’s worth it.

S.A. Mendez
S.A. Mendez: It was ok. The prices don’t match what is listed on the menu above the register. Additionally the “chili sauce” was a flavorless, cold tomato sauce that took away from the rest of the flavors. Otherwise friendly staff and clean place. Will go to a different Blue Agori location next time.

Erdész Barna
Erdész Barna: Blue Agori is a good stop by to top up with fast greekish style quality food. One of the places which is a member of the tiny food & gastronomy revolution on the Buda side. It is a must have if you are around just grab something and let’s have a break on the grass of Széll Kapu Park!

Kamilla Zhangulova
Kamilla Zhangulova: Overpriced for this quality. The design of the place is quite nice, but the food is not satisfactory
Gábor Sipos
Gábor Sipos: Waited 40 mins for 2 plates, later arriving customers have been served earlier, they prioritize the take away over the dine in customers, all the cutlery were dirty, aaand the chicken was raw. That was the point where left our food behind. At least we got our money back. Do not go to the place, ever.
kxu 936
kxu 936: I first heard of this place from advertisements. I was attracted, but cautious because ads and reality can be different. When my order arrived, it looked ready for a photo session!! xgbdx
xgbdx: First time ordering from here, I ordered the halloumi bowl as a delivery. The dip and chips were really nice, chips were very crunchy! The halloumi was a bit of an odd consistency and quite thin but still okay! There was only 3 olives in the box which was disappointing as I ordered this over the gyro purely for the olives. Quite expensive compared to what I’ve paid in the past but most of it was good quality! Overall good food.

Nick Gu
Nick Gu: Okay but not outstanding food. Gyros (pork) were better than the slovlaki (chicken) but both quite salty. Greek salad was basic. Nice decor.
Dániel Handel
Dániel Handel: After the superior Beszálló bar this new place serves greek gyros -finally not a new turkish one - where the food is good, and finally not only from chicken! However the staff is very unfriendly and very slow. I had to wait 16 minutes for a gyros pita (!) when the place was almost empty - they forgot my order, but when I remembered them about this they did not try to say sorry or something. The interior also could be nicer, the previous place was very beautiful here.

Qeis Batal
Qeis Batal: Ordered via Food Panda. Waited 2 hours. After the first hour (the original delivery time), they called me, that the delivery guy will be late by 30 minutes. As I already paid for the food and was hungry, I Waited. It took another hour for them to deliver the food. The greek salad was already warmed up, and I would say ridiculous amount and quality. They reduced the size of the tzatziki as well, from the Last time. The fries were soggy and cold, meat was cold, and the bread as well. The delivery guy did not even say sorry, just left without a word. This was my 7-9th order from here, but possibly the last one.
Csanád Molnár

Victoria Deineko: The best gyros in Budapest😍 I’ve never eaten anything tastier that this gyros. Recommend to everybody! Lots of tasty meat, amazing baklava and friendly workers. Looking forward to eat your gyros one more time!

T C: Lovely new gyro spot. Tasty gyros that actually tasted even better after I put mine in the fridge and reheated it because it was large. The workers were very friendly, much more so than I’m used to at any Hungarian restaurant/take away place in Budapest. Happy to see them join the neighborhood.
CLINT DAVIES
CLINT DAVIES: I bought a gyros pita and it was nice. The staff was also friendly and welcoming. They have some seats outside the shop, but ideal place for takeaway.Gyros items, hot dogs, pastries, desserts, Baklava and some drinks were available.

Gyros Kerkyra Görög Ételbár: what do users think?
Philippe Tring
Philippe Tring: Best kebab in town. This is a tiny Gyro place sort of on the outskirts of Budapest center, but it’s worth the walk. A gyro costs $2-3 and is probably the best you’ll ever have.
Barbs Jen
Barbs Jen: This is one of the best Greek Gyros in town that resembles much of the type you can have when you are in Greece. The pita comes in a generous portion, topped up a few delicious chips on top. It makes you full for quite some time and nothing like the other street food type of gyros/kebab. I would highly recommend this, if you are looking for a more authentic Greek style meal.
Ews
Ews: Great falafels but has to wait almost 20 mins. Maybe because I went in 45 mins before closing but there was a lot of other people waiting too. I would eat this again if there is not much waiting.
Peter Kementzey
Peter Kementzey: Budapest is full of street gyros places, but this one takes is to another level. They offer excellent tasting food. It still is a fast food place, but a unique and very good one.
Patric Lausch
Patric Lausch: Definitely one of the BEST Gyros in Budapest. TOTALLY WORTH THE SHORT WAIT. Great beers on tap too!
Dani Kovács
Dani Kovács: Layout: There is a wait here and they yell out the numbers which is not the most convenient especially looking at the layout. Having a numbered display system like at the pharmacy or banks would be much better. The layout is not all that great as well as there could be more seating then there is at the moment. The overall atmosphere is lacking. Stimuli is non existant. Food (Bifteki pita): The pita is very good. The bifteki is mediocre. No real taste in spices or anything remarkabke. The portion is large. Good amount of fries and sauce added (get napkins cause its gonna get messy) Overall it is good alternative if you are bored from the turkish style gyros, however, Its just an average “fast” food place.
Mustafa Y.
Mustafa Y.: You should have never eaten a delicious gyro or doner kebab if you think taste here is so delicious. Maybe a good and eco choice for a quick bite but not a must go. You will eat a mix of numerous foods and thats all. Wrap prices varies between 3 to 6 euros.
