Leo Lee: Best exchange rate I had in Budapest. The rate I bought Forint is 1 EUD to 315 Ft, selling it at 318.00 Ft as the instant online exchange rate is 316.12. It is almost about the same! The staff service is awesome and friendly as well. We can also exchange all amount back including coins when selling Forints to Euros. The queue is not so long and I only waited about 15-20 mins.

At Edinburgh airport I was given 342 HUF to the £1 but this man gave me 470 to the £1 two days later. He was happy to make the notes into smaller denominations for me. It was an easy transaction and I recommend this exchange completely

Peter Fekete: I prefer this agency on account of their rates. On this last occasion I had notes issued by a UK bank that had some kind of strange sticky subtance on them. The still changed the money and cleaned the notes. I hate plastic money, but I suppose that from the clearning fluid point-of-view they have an advantage. I found the service at Expert Exchange curteous, efficient and expert.
Luis R: Best exchange I found. They keep a small commission but even that is quite good comparing with most of the ATM. For every 10€ they keep 50 pences I calculated. In another exchange houses says: No commission. 0% but they give you much less value so at the end is every 10€ 90 pences which you lose more
Andor Pokorádi: I was changing back some HRK left from a holiday. For some reason I tought I was handing over a "50" bill but it was a "100" and the staff member corrected me. He could have just went along with what I said and took the 50 HRK for himself but he did not. He corrected me and gave me the right amount. They are really helpful, straightforward and honorable, with great rates.

Morgan M: Great exchange, HOWEVER they do not except card, only cash! So, if you are reading this BEFORE you come to Budapest, take out money IN YOUR OWN CURRENCY before you come to Budapest. THIS IS HOW TO AVOID HEAVY ATM FEES! You can pay for your bus ticket with card (ex. Visa) then come HERE to exchange your currency. I wish YouTube travel videos gave this advice.

Mate Milas: One of the best exchange rate in Budapest right across the main train station! Please note that if you exchange more than 300,000 HUF they are obliged to take a photo document from you and you have to sign a lot of documents but that is probably the case in all the money exchange spots Anyway, great service and great rate!

Hope T: They were friendly and spoke good English, and used a machine to count the number of bills; the number was displayed on a small screen so that you can check that it’s correct. Commission is 0.3%. If you go to their website, they have a calculator that will tell you your final price; it should be the same that they’re offering to you (they’ll give you a number on a physical calculator). Bring a passport if the amount you’re exchanging is not trivial! If you’re not sure, bring it just in case.

293: I came here 15th of July,2022. 11:22 am. Just 20 min ago. I need to change 260,000 Ft to 600 EUR for the rent. So I had to show passport as ID. I’m Japanese live in Budapest. two ladies are sitting in reception. one is ok who was dealing with me. She said like he is from Tokyo to another lady who was sitting next to her. And another lady satrted making slanted eye pose by both hand and laughing by looking at me. the lady who was wearing orange tank top. If you guys (customers) were from Europe or whatever, it’s gonna be ok. But if you came from Asia, I recommend it’s better for you not use here. Because one of lady staff is an amazing racist. it was extremely annoying experience.

Hari Shah: This place is located exactly behind Hotel Mercure. They give u the best rates for exchange in the town the whole town may be. Time when i visited i was given a sell rate of 320 H FLorint for 100 Euros which was the best in the whole of the shopping street. Since it is the shopping street i would suggest you to visit this place for exchange because you would save lot of money.
