Mister Knister: It has a huge cardio section and everything You need to train your muscles. The sauna and swimming area are also good, but in winter the pool is closed. It‘s an overall good gym but too expensive in my opinion. Ps: the prices are the same, although the swimming area is closed.
Hin Chung LIO: The facilities are old. Excellent location with free parking if you have a monthly pass.
Omar: Was there on July 31, 2022. Used the 1 day pass (I think it was 3000 forints which is less than $10). It was actually equipped better than the New York Sports Club I go to in the UES. Equipment was new and the gym is huge and not over subscribed. Overall a very good experience!
Ruben: Great gym, has all the equipment you need to remain fit and healthy. Pool and sauna is a plus! Some of the employees are rude though.

Emilija Marija Rudzikaite: A huge disappointment…. it was our first and last time there. Never seen such a dirty wellness area, full of mold and even the pool was smelling like pee…. Honestly was just disgusting. Completely outdated. You can clearly see that there is a lack of management since the space has so much potential.
Marcell Krasznai: One of the nicest looking, and cleanest gyms. The corridors are nicely decorated with bamboo and white rocks, which gives a really nice asthetic. The changing rooms are clean and have plenty of room. The fitness rooms are also really clean, and is not very busy if you know when to go (check google popular times)
Vince Prodán: My first (and last) time at Sunpalace. I forgot to bring my training shoes. One of the guys working there came over. I asked if flip-flops are okay. He said no, then swinging his arms, proceeded to bark the phrase: "game over". I guessed by his barbaric gestures, that he is inviting me to leave the establishment. I get it, no flip flops. But you guys could really learn to communicate in a humane way. Especially with customers who have paid to be there.
Viktor Venczel: Bit pricey but nice and clean. Fitness/gym side is more suited for casual exercising and cardio than heavy weigthlifting. Take a free tour to see and know what you are getting.
Kerem Gok: Its a total sports club including a big fitness center, swimming pool, jacuzzi, solarium, and classes. For the weekends not crowded. The midweek days asvsame as other clubs. Nice, clean, tidy.

Brian Hawken: I went for the pump track (I skateboard). You can use a skateboard, bicycle or scooter on it. I went midweek and was the only person there😁 The track is smooth and manageable to get all the way around (I am not an expert at skateboarding and I could make the route). Suoer fun, especially if you are looking forneasy carving and some exercise.
Graeme Miller: Decent sports centre and very large. Son was playing Futsal and good place to watch. Best goalkeeper in Hungary...in my opinion 😀

Graeme Miller: Lovely gym and very friendly staff. Always clean and continuous cleaning throughout the day. Quality machines and just about everything you need for any training regime. On site trainers available for personal or group classes and, whilst I have not had an actual lesson, always approachable and have a smile on their face. Desk staff always greet you pleasantly when checking in and always provide clean towels every visit. Sauna, hot tub, resting areas and massage to book if you like.

They lied to their loyal clients about long term membership and ripped them of with promising to freeze their membership in case of lock down; while all the gym in Budapest did this logical act to freeze their members card for the time of restrictions (6 months) Marriot just refused and asked their members to buy a new longterm membership if they are willing to use the gym again. when I paid for my membership 8 months ago, before lockdown I asked them what will happen if they close the gym and they answered (confidently) that they will freeze the card, but now they are simply ignoring what they said. Also even though the view is very nice but the whole time I was using their gym there were ventilation problem. This is one the most expensive gym in Budapest and still they weren’t willing to spend some money to solve this very important issue.

Wisarut Rochanaruangrai: DO NOT BUY A LONG-TERM MEMBERSHIP HERE The gym was closed for 6 months due to COVID restrictions. Those who have a membership lost everything. No compensation to the loyal customers whatsoever. The instructors were not paid the whole time they were shut. I complained about this on their Facebook page and they blocked me there..

Kit Jen: Amazing staff, everybody is so helpful and friendly. Always ready to help and smiley all the time. High quality equipment and very well trained trainers that are ready to answer all your questions. Hygiene is one of the V30 priorities. This applies to common areas, bath room and to all of the work up gears. Everything comes at its cost, the monthly price is quite high but you definitely get what you pay for.
Laura Alexandra: Only went to the pool and it was a very good experience. The price was a bit over 5 euro/ entrance. Very clean, both the lockers and the pool area. The only thing that could be better are the showers. They aren’t very efficient especially if you also want to wash your hair. During the week in the mornings there are kids swimming classes so only one lane is open, but it was usually just me using i.
Jennifer Smith: Enjoyed my gym pass experience here over Easter weekend. I tried the gym, the Body Circuit. Trainers that speak English, clean and fully decked out gym to also do your own workouts. My only caveat was the lack of a water fountain/water cooler: I see in past reviews this was brought up four months ago so surprising this easy fix has not been added. I’m happy to fill my bottle with tap water… but not if it’s warm. Perfect for hand washing but not for drinking. Also the gym is quite warm. On the third day I went a door opened into the terrace provided some fresh air but all need to be opened for better circulation (or AC?). Also had a great convo with the front desk staff member who lived and worked in the U.K. Totally sounds like a northerner! Also really appreciate how responsive the messenger chat is with gym-related questions. Very happy my hotel recommended this place (Mera only a 4-minute walk away). I would definitely return here.

This facility has absolutely everything what a modern society person need nowadays. The Train & Go gym offers such a warm atmosphere to train and feel comfortable, especially the Biocircuit. Sam: Pretty good gym in central Budapest. Quick to sign up; “tourist pass” was $25 for 3 days, which can be used within a 10-day period. I went in the mornings around 7, and it was nice and quiet. They give you towels, which is handy. Relatively well equipped gym, though they could have more free weights. Not an issue when the gym is quiet, unless you want to go heavy (didn’t see any dumbbells heavier than 37.5kgs). I liked the cross-fit/conditioning area. People at the front desk were friendly and they have a ok supply of shakes and protein bars to buy.
Dimitrios Paschalis: Wonderful gym in the Goszdu Udvar area with excellent facilities, especially pool and jacuzzi… I got the tourist ticket for 25€ for 3 times. Great people inside and very inspiring mood!! When I come back in Budapest I will visit it for sure!!

For swiming pool 5 people can swim at a same time. They do not have many facilities and you have to wait until they finish and turn to you! Its underground without any natural light. Do not even think about fresh air!

So far I have been loving everything: the facilities, the instructors (especially miss Dominika), the equipment. + there is a nice wet sauna you can enjoy after sweating. Ron Norman: Lovely place, pools indoors and outdoors are nice temperatures. Remember to bring flip flops with you for walking around in especially indoors. The cafe area is decent, had a lovely beef stew there. Would also recommend getting a cabin to get changed in though. Its great you can be there all day to 8pm too with the one entrance fee. Definitely worth a visit.
Ania Stacey: Absolutely amazing experience! The whole place is magical from the architecture of the buildings to the experience itself. The outdoor thermal baths felt amazing and soothing, even on a hot day. The prices are reasonable. There is a well stocked store with towels, slippers etc to purchase in case you forget something. I highly recommend getting a cabin so you can change without having to do it in a bathroom stall. The staff was very helpful and everyone spoke English. This is an absolute MUST while visiting Budapest!!!!
Saudia Tate: Pretty cool! It’s a bunch of different large pools really. I thought the whirlpool was fun, albeit a little rowdy and crowded. And the outdoor heated pool was my favourite. The indoor pools are too echoey for my liking but they’re nice too. Doing the plunge pools 5 or 6 times between hot and cold was nice. I was under the impression that the saunas cost extra and were only on Sundays but I think there are just Sunday “sauna sessions” (whatever that means). I went on a Tuesday and the saunas were very much open! There was a light sauna and an aroma sauna inside with the indoor thermal pools and then two separate sauna houses outside. Make sure you do them safely though A little unhygienic as people aren’t rinsing off or showering with soap in between the different pools!! Very old and lots of maintenance work being done. But an enjoyable experience for your time Budapest, I look forward to returning and trying out the other thermal baths! It’s also nice to see and talk to people from all over the world! People say to pay extra for the cabin … BUT I say the locker room is just fine with showers and a toilets. Well worth the price. (: 👌🏽 3.5-4/5 just wish it was a bit cleaner

Got quite busy from 11:30-12pm but you will always find a pool to sit in. Very relaxing. Paid 8100ft for a lockable cabin/changing area. It was worth the extra 900ft compared to locker price

Rafał Przelaskowski: I am so impressed by this club! Great design on two floors, bricks and high ceiling give it an industrial feeling and space. The huge humber of Life Fitness cardio equipment upstairs counted in tens. Large choice of machines and free weights downstairs, with some sophisticated models from Hoist and Hammer Strength. No crowd, although I was exercising during the day. And the music - chill house at 110-120 bpm with some discret subwoofers making it a perfect environment for a workout. Really to recommend for anyone, also a holiday visitor to Budapest like me!

Freya Zsombory: This is one of the best gyms I’ve seen in Budapest and the price is also reasonable. We bought the morning monthly gym membership for 10490 forints. That allowed us to come in Mon to Fri before 3pm and anytime on the weekends for the 3 weeks we were in town. It was perfect for us. This is one of two gyms that I’m aware of in Budapest that isn’t located downstairs and in a dark dungeon. That alone is reason to workout here. The only thing they can improve on is adding another toilet in the ladies room. The locker room is big, so it doesn’t make sense that there’s only one toilet.
aron hegedus: Friendly staff and good equipment, lots of cardio, and machines and dumbbells. I use this gym for powerlifting, they have good weights, and 2 Ohio power bars, as well as a full power rack and a proper bench Edit: They’ve just added a downstairs powerlifting section with huge speakers and squat bar and combo rack. This means there’s more space upstairs for people who want to use machines, and people can be loud downstairs. Definitely the best gym in central Budapest

Very little free space and many visitors, especially in the afternoon. In general, there are enough machines, but cardio machines are in poor condition or broken. There is also the issue of cleanliness. But nice staff and good location.

Krisztián Vörös: Small high-tech gym in one of the busiest street in Budapest. I like this place becouse they have rounds and i dont need to wait for the machines once i am in the round. Only down side is the oily smell from the street.
Péter Takács: great gym, awesome service, high tech machines. monthly fee is average. rest room and changing room os clean. personal trainers are well prepared and friendly. they speak english too.

Lorenzo Sala: One of the best gyms I have ever been to. The best equipped gym I have ever seen, by far. They have ANY kind of machine you can think of, and machines of the best quality (flex, etc.) Plus a plenty of free weights, rack, benches, etc. It is full of bodybuilding "relics" (e. G. Things owned by swartznegger), like a hard rock Cafe of physical culture.
Michael Coovadia: ⚠️ Do not sign up until you read this I have been to half the world, and used the most exclusive gyms imaginable… non which compare to Flex Gym Budapest. The epitome of bodybuilding lies within the walls of this gym. From the staff, to the world class equipment and the amazing owner, Adam, who is so attentive to detail, Flex Gym Budapest is hands down the best gym I have ever been to so far. Walking into this gym you’re immediately hit with the hardcore old school bodybuilding aroma, just like you would in the old days at golds gym in America. I highly recommend this gym, 11/10 times. Patrik Axelsson: The best gym in Budapest. Some hardcore bodybuilders and athletes train here, and there is alot of pictures of celebrities and pro athletes who have visited the gym on the walls.

Apex Global Strategies: Positive: Communication, QualityVery popular gym for US actors and celebrities. I enjoyed going to the gym large selection of weights and cardio equipment. There is kick boxing as well. I will come again.
