Laura Alexandra: If you are up for something different and authentic this is the place. Family owned business with live music (officially from 10, but we were there at 9 and they were playing). Enjoy the sound of cimbalom with a shot of home made palinka.

Gluteus Maximus: Sleeping bartender was very nice. Bought two shots of plum palinka which tasted very good. The bartender was not angry at all, and we became very good friends. She did not curse at me at all. I left with a smile. All in all very good.Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Matt M: If you want to experience an authentic piece of Hungarian culture, this is the place. Great live music in a laid back, intimate setting.

Natalia Koppel: Very authentic and interesting experience,we really enjoyed it.The music is worth the waiting, the musicians play fantastic Gypsy songs.

MasterOf Disaster: A place to feel local. Location is just 20 meters from the regular tourist traps but you will listen to handmade music and sink into an atmosphere that really merits this word. Enjoy like we did

SMinkhop: I was so sad to see how much things changed from my prior trip here 10 years ago. It went the way of camden town. But this place made up for it. Thank youFood: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Mezzo Music Restaurant: what do users think?

Gevah Northcott: Beautiful restaurant with live music away from the bustle of the city center. I totally recommend for a relaxing evening dinner/late lunch. The dinner was relatively affordable and portions were large enough. The restaurant is group friendly, staff are very pleasant and helpful

Igor: The restaurant is close to the Deli railway station. The staff was very professional and polite. For lunch I had Beef cheek with Vadas sauce and bread dumplings. The food tasted amazing, and I can only give recommendation to people to visit this Mezzo Music and enjoy in great food, service and atmosphere!

Giani Anghel: Very friendly staff. Tasty food. Nice and cozy place.

Josh Palmer: An excellent place with a great staff and wonderful food. We had a very good time and will be back. Paul was a great server and very attentive to every detail.Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Balint Balint: Cosy place with good service and quality food. I would categorise this place as an upscale restaurant. You also can rent all the place for private events if you want, but also good for a quick bite or coffee.Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Ferenc Csonka: Classy place with great food and good service. The staff was very attentive during our visit. The restaurant is quite stylish inside. The kitchen is great, they prepare the food with great care and they are delicious. The menu could use a bit more vegetarian options but they can customise their food on offer and prepare some of them in veg option too.

Fulvio Veraldi: Really nice atmosphere, great food and warm service! I really pleasant discovery where we could eat also traditional Hungarian dishes and local wines. Prices are in line with similar categories restaurants. Definitely recommended!

Balazs Jarosi: A splendid experience. Awesome food, nice and polite service. Highly recommendedFood: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Poria Gholami: Fantastic restaurant! Delicious food, great atmosphere and warm service. We went here as 2 toursist from Sweden to experience something of the tourist areas of the town and got to experience hungarian food with a modern twist! Can only recommend 👍😋

Merry Ladó: what do users think?

Valerie: Great place! We ordered goulash and salads, but not soup, just meat very tasty! I recommended this place for calm evening.

Riley Broderson: This is a very nice and relaxed traditional Hungarian restaurant. I had the beef stew, it was very tasty. All the waiters spoke good English and were helpful. I can recommend this place for sure.

Jean Nunn: Veg soup overwhelmed with rosemary. Tasted medicated and thin. Chicken paprikash ok but a little bland and watery. An underwhelming meal altogether. Disappointing, as the restaurant looked good. Maybe the chef was off ill tonight.

LEONIDAS KOUFOS: An excellent café-restaurant. Exceptional food at reasonable price, cozy atmosphere, welcoming personnel who provide hospitable service, express real interest in the quality of ordered dishes, and require no service charge, unless the guest sees fit to it. The unexpected attraction of all? The three member jazz company, whose performance on a theatrical stage is by far unique and beyond all expectations. When in Budapest, avoid missing out on it!

Lawrence: Great service. Food is good. Goose liver a bit over cooked. Duck leg taste a bit plain. Live jazz starts at 8 till 10pm.

Teddy Thechowchow: Loved this place and probably my favourite Hungarian restaurant I’ve been to this time in Budapest. Delicious food and amazing atmosphere with live music. The price was decent too.

Stephanie Lok: Lovely atmosphere with jazz music every night at 8pm. The food could be better but the excellent service makes up for it! Portions are really large too.

cosmin caltea: Nice location for a romantic dinner, with live jazz music after 20:00 hour. The Gulas soup was very tasty.

BARhole Music: what do users think?

Giulio Boldrini: Absolutely lovely. People and staff are very friendly, good rock music is played inside and alcohol is cheap. Couldn’t ask more from a great evening where we met new friends from all over the world. And the barman is a hell of a character!

Dóra Világosi: Super spot with extremely friendly and helpful bartenders. Perfect choice to have shots and beers with friends, wide selection and great music! We will be back!

Giacomo Lazzerini: A fancy bar in the very center of budapest, drinks are cheap and the music suits the place. Would recommend to go for pre drinking

Peter Viktor Wagner (MrWagner): The live music events are great, the staff is nice and quick, still somehow the atmosphere isn’t as great as could be. The prices are average, and the place became over-crowded in no time. My personal advice: give it a tey and create your own opinion.

Adrienn Nagy: Security is on top thanks to Doma

Koen Stokkel: Lies, no live music, or music at all on Friday evening

Bence Osvárt: This place have it all, great prices, good equipment and people and even table soccer to play!

Márton András Nagy: Ample place, live music, moderate prices, fast service and its in the heart of the city! But its in a cellar with no reception and this makes credit card payments somewhat difficult, but at least you have the option!

Jack Doyle's Irish Pub & Restaurant: what do users think?

Sean Byrne: Really authentic Irish Pub where the staff make it so worthwhile to visit - they are very friendly and you never have to wait for your drinks. Great atmosphere and great live music ( Irish and pop) from a local musician who made sure everyone had a good time. Many nationalities there enjoying the craic. Drinks were good and not too pricey, Pint of Guinness under €5 and good selection of Irish whiskey from around €4, plus a nice selection of cocktails. All in all well worth a visit and the owner Charles Griffin is from Tipperary.

Rebecca Robinson: Lovely pub, just nicely filling up on an October Wednesday for a Celtic game, very good pint / 500ml and really tasty food. Staff were friendly and gave good service. Fish n chips very generous portion, chicken goujons and chips also very filling, although I would add the sweet chili sauce next time for that extra kick.

Luke Mulholland: Nice little spot in the heart of Budapest. Lovely pints and the Nachos are 10/10. Showing live sport too.

Marc Babbington: Good place to watch sport, but needs more screens so all the seats can view. It gets far too hot inside and is very uncomfortable at the back of the bar. The fans are insufficient. Nice food and quick service, but you pay over the odds compared to other local bars

Szymon Piotrowski: The atmosphere of the place is really something special. Great live music, awesome drinks, phenomenal food. This place is really the essence of live music bars. If you are in Budapest, you need to try this place!

Jennifer Zou: The website does not confirm available reservation times. It’s impossible to call the restaurant. The doormen are rude.

Lauren Craker: Great atmosphere and drinks, good singer

Victoria Gladka: Wonderful music, amazing people ❤️Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

György Thurzó: Great food and very nice bar music and the best drinks.

Bernadett Ligeti: I really enjoyed my time here! Atmospheric live music, friendly and professional staff ensure a real piano bar experience.

Paulina Cegłowska: Gourmet drinks, delicious food and phenomenal live music // Exquisite drinks, delicious food and phenomenal live music

Eszter Kőrösi: It is characterized by divine food and a very pleasant atmosphere, fortunately not a dozen places, live piano evenings make the atmosphere unique!

Mishlen Mishlen: STRONGLY NOT RECOMMENDED CATEGORY!!! Overpricing, overbilling, stupid staff, crappy service! IT IS RECOMMENDED TO AVOID THE PLACE IN A LARGE CIRCLE!!!

ELLÁTÓház: what do users think?

Ivonig Corfmat: ELLÁTÓház is a great bar. The decoration is urban added with lot of plants and flowers hanging. Prices are not too expensive but be careful, to date, cash only is accepted (a bit silly considering how paypass is practical in a bar). At ELLÁTÓház concerts are regularly planned for an entrance fee under 10€. Lot of time it is gonna be some cover band (Beatles, radiohead , queen...) which makes up to a great crowd of enthusiastic customers. The age is generally above the average in this part of the city during the concert mainly due to the style of music played. Also during concert the crowd is mostly locals. When concert is over it goes back to a more classical bar with music and the young party crowd.

Togrul Ilhamoglu: Good for weekend parties.Voice systems are not that much good. But vibe is good.

Akos Rajtmar: It is a place which I can recommend, sometimes good concerts, cheap ticket prices (usually). Drinks are kinda expensive but not disturbingly. The venue has a nice atmosphere and it is situated in the middle of the party district of Budapest.

Yersy ibarra: Great place great musicians

Barbs Jen: A good place to hang out with friends, nice atmosphere and good concerts.

Sam Tobeh: I had one of my best nights there. They play good music.

wendy crispell: Cool space with cleanest toilets in district. Live music and exceptional freshly brewed beer.

Matyas Perneky: A great place for all folks with basically any taste in music. There are great events happening every night you can surely find your jam here. There is a nice mix of tourists and locals you can find plenty of interesting people at the club. Prices are reasonable even though the place is in the centre. This place will make you want to return time and time again.

Marcin Dziduch: Average place but great events. Went there for band 7sec in the future. Wouldnt go otherwise.

Hunnia Art Bisztró: what do users think?

Peter Sipos: An old school underground pub in the middle of downtown with a small stage. 60 people are enough to make it look crowded. A place to play at for many smaller bands. The drinks are very cheap, and the staff is nice.

Leny KEO: a nice cold place pub in the city center. It is a good for weekend drink.

Kornél Bernáth: Its a really good place with alternative underground concerts, fairly cheap bear and really good located. Ive had a chance to give a concert there, and i bravely state that the deal was correct. I hardly recommend it for everyone who likes acoustic nights

Lark Sisterman: There are some cool concerts here sometimes. The place is quite small, so in case a better known band (such as Balaton) is on stage, the venue gets quickly overcrowded.

Peter Viktor Wagner (MrWagner): Very fancy place, if you come here for a concert you’ve got the feeling like you would travel back in time into the seventies and would listen some garage bands whom once will be very famous. The prices are moderate, the staff professional, the interior is friendly, even that it’s in a basement. 😊🎤🎼🎹🥁🎷🎺🎸🎻👽🙏🏼

András Molnár: It has a unique atmosphere, with many unplugged and alternative concerts the Hunnia is one of the real underground bars of Budapest.

Zsolt Takács: Charming place with small local concerts, cultural events like poetry eves. Tasty and cheap food, clean dishes, delicious lemonade.

Opus Jazz Club: what do users think?

Modar Ali: Highly recommend. The building itself is very unique and is refurbished after it was in a poor physical condition. It was transformed into a modern music center with two halls, the main hall and the jazz club. The jazz club is not a regular one because its programs and concerts are very diverse and they invite artists from abroad which adds a lot to its value. Drinks, snacks and foods are served here with good quality. Card payment is available. Purchasing online tickets ahead is recommended.

Csaba Szamos: Great place altough the tables are almost uncomfortably close to each other, a little more personal space would be appreciated. The acoustics of the room is excellent.

Bálint Veres-Husz: All in all a great place but there are a couple of thing they have to sort out. The food was great but the bread they serve with the hummus and cheese plate was a couple of days old and very dry. The drinks are decent but nothing special. Prices are reasonable. The concert vas amazing!

Lady Z: Wonderful venue, and lovely food and drink selection. Great international artists come through here. It would be nice if the seats were next to each other facing the stage rather than across like a restaurant, as it made it difficult to both chat and enjoy the show.

Jiaqi Z.: Pretty nice place for lunch meetings, reasonable prices; my paprika was beautiful

Serge Mihalovich: Great atmosphere and acoustic. Food is also very decent.

Stephen J Hall: Really talented trio with friendly servers.Local jazz lovers haunt, worth the reasonable prices.

Lili: This place is a real treasure, I like to come to Opus time to time because the atmosphere is just perfect! It is has a beautiful design, it’s not a ruin-bar but neither a posh restaurant. The performance of the groups is always high quality even if they have to improvise such as the last time when the crew of Milad Khawam was not fully present but the show was still amazing! The food is delicious as well!

Oli T.: Nice atmosphere, professional friendly staff...great acoustic.

If Jazz Cafe: what do users think?

Kevin Jordan: Great evening of jazz! Wine And dinner were excellent as well. We started with the 5 mixed appetizers & I had the trout - it was as well presented as it was delicious. Jazz was fantastic, a must vist but be sure and reserve a table!

AvD: Great food, good drinks and amazing music. Must visit when in Budapest. Ensure that you book in advance though.

Dr. Francesco Prato: Great jazz concert. They improvised most of the songs in a very funny way. Service is attentive and food is great. Thanks

Kuba Uroda: First time in this bar, after hearing lot of positive reviews - for us was just ok. Maybe it was an exception, but due to concert and big nr of guess, for the first drink we waited more than 30 min. Guys were nice, but service was very slow yesterday. Tapas plate like this for almost 10 euro is maybe too much, but food was good. In general, visit was good and as adviced, we will try it again in calmer day😁 PS. If this band was as a Barcelona in football, that I understand everything, also slower service outside. Taking this after consideration, strong 4 and we will come again!

T. Demmendaal: Lovely place, with an amazing staff. Good recommendations and knowledge about the beers by a nice young lady! I even got the last beermat on the house, great!

Rita Deák: Lovely cozy athmosphere, bartenders are super polite and stylish, could use higher quality table wines selection, overall great experience!

Lucia Čmilanská: We visited the jazz concert, it was amazing. Very friendly stuff, cozy atmosphere and great dry cider!

Mirjam Winter: The most fascinating and exciting place in Budapest. You should not miss it, otherwise you die empty.

Kenneth Scholes Friis: Fantastic little jazz cafe with live music.Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Café Jedermann: what do users think?

Kirdneh Hcok: The atmosphere of the place is amazing. Very chill, very cozy, very friendly! The staff is welcoming, the prices are fair and the food I liked. Its simple but high quality bar food! To be honest, this would be my go to place if I would be staying here longer :)

A B: Nice place, food is tasty and quite cheap, if you’re on a budget, you should definitely try their lunch offer, it’s around 1000 HUF. Staff is friendly, best place to eat during the daytime js in the small garden area, but everyone should visit their jazz events. Needs to be booked in advance!

Fari: The dish was slightly salty, but over all decent, freshly made salmon with garnish , the waiters have really good attitude, the bacround music together with the decoration is very relaxing, warm and welcoming, perfect place for casual meet up, or fast tasty affordable dishes.

Paula Fintelman: Coffee setup is good but the beans are low quality I think because the coffee was not good. Breakfast was simple but toast was burned and bland. French toast with tomato and cheese was actually cream cheese that had no flavour and 1 slice of tomato per toast. Maybe lunch is better and you should visit for the atmosphere but just not for breakfast.

michał bryndal: We went there for a breakfast, photos look really apealing. So… those sunny side up eggs looking so great in the photos were hard boiled and french toast totally rubbery.. don’t go there.. you don’t want it… I was there yesterday (info for menager)

Sharen: It was my third time to come here for lunch. Last two times, I tried the lunch menu and I tried the à la carte this time. Although the choices were not various, the taste was good as usual. During the day time, there was no live concert. But you still could enjoy some music during the whole lunch time.

Mátyás Cserny: Amazing, cozy jazz cafe.Perfect to enjoy a concert with a glass of fine wine at a candlelit table.

Down Under Bar: what do users think?

Éva Rónai: This place became one of my favorites places in Budapest. Super kind and cheerful staff, love them! The drinks are great - especially the EMU beer - and the food is unbelievably delicious with reasonable prices. They also have very great events, like the pub quiz and drag bingo. Love you guys, stay this great please! :)

Lili: Lovely drag queen bingo night was an amazing event to see what this place can offer. It is great for gatherings and drinking and laughing. The place is little bit overcrowded , I think they allow the bookings to reach 120% expecting that not everybody will come but what is yes? The more the merrier but not at the edge of pandemic situation…

Vlada: One of the best bars in Budapest! I visited this place during one of the drag bingo nights and was pleasantly surprised by the service that the bar provides and an authentic and friendly atmosphere, especially refreshing for expats so you don’t have to embarrass yourself trying speaking Hungarian, everything is in English and everyone speaks English around too! The owner and the bartenders are super nice and easygoing, the prices are great for a bar in the center of Budapest. Also highly recommend to visit during the Thursday drag bingo, you won’t be disappointed!

Seitek S: Awesome place with great service and very fair prices. You can watch football here, play board games and lose your voice in Karaoke. We have celebrated birthday here, the staff was so helpful and flexible with everything. Now all my friends wants to have their parties here.

Asdrubal Duarte: A very cozy place and very nice service , if you are interested in the Stand Up comedy movement in Budapest, check out this place.Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Tim Byrne: Great place for brunch in the center of the city. It’s a very cozy venue tucked in a side street just off the Grand Boulevard. There were three of us so naturally we had to try different things and throw in an extra order to share. We had a Bacon, Egg & Cheese Bagel, a Full Hungarian Breakfast, Chilaquiles, and added some Biscuits & Gravy to share. There wasn’t a bad dish in the bunch. All were quite tasty and even though our Czech friend though the Chilaquiles was a bit spicy, I would have loved some more green chile. Having lived in the southeast, biscuits and gravy is a staple breakfast food so I was a little bit apprehensive about ordering it in the heart of Budapest but I was pleasantly surprised. The biscuits weren’t as good as those you’d get from meemaw’s cast iron skillet but they would be welcome on most southern breakfast tables. Looking forward to coming back at dinner time to see what treats they have in store.

Barbs Jen: We love coming here, especially for their winning cheesy fries. They are like the best in town. Their wings are quite delicious too and have a great variety of drinks too. The price is mid range I would say. The serving staff is friendly and accommodating. They have a big selection of food. They also have concerts in the evening (maybe on a Saturday, I am not entirely sure). I highly recommend this place.

James Zara: 10-66 has to be one of my favorite hidden bar/breakfast place in Budapest. I went here with two other friends for their Sunday’s unlimited chicken wings special. The amount of unlimited wings you get here is second to none. And since you are most likely going to have the wings, they provide vast amounts of wet tissues, napkins, and complimentary tap water. Otto, our waiter, was professional, knowledgeable, and prompt with our order. One cool thing is that they have a stage for performance for certain nights. I definitely recommend this to all my friends.

MÚZSA: what do users think?

Diógenes Ferreira de Lucena: Here its the place to drink well. Cocktails are crafted with a high skill.Recipes have been mastered in a menü compilation which makes it hard to find only one cocktail to elect favorite. The cocktails list has been vitally connected to the bar concept and its team. The bar team is amazingly hospitable shinning skill and smiles all around.(hard to see the same in Budapest.) It is a must go and a probable return. Cheers.

Greg Sutphin: A fantastic high tea experience! Beautiful area inside a renovated building that was in disrepair from WW II until 2000. Delicious food and wide variaty of teas and light fair. Live piano music was fabulous and made the experience even better.

Vitri Vit: If you want to take your wife/ girlfriend for a date or dinner then this is the place! Good food, nice cocktail and super amazing ambience from the live performance. I loved it!! Super friendly staff and thanks to Miss carmen for the warm courtesy from the host.

Tony Ungvary: It is a very high quality cocktail bar inside the beautiful Four Seasons Gresham Palace which one of the most valuable property in the hotel’s portfolio. It is not only the cocktails are unique but the interaction with bartenders. They are very knowledgeable and helpful. Adam and Anet were our bartenders and they knew what kind of cocktails we like and even created off the menu ones for us. Highly recommended for everyone to have a great time with some extraordinary cocktails.

Lilla Kertész: This cocktail Bar is located in the magnificent Four Seasons Hotel - Gresham Palace in the heart of Budapest. The interior is beautiful, the live music was just amazing, so as the cocktails. Tasting the cocktails was definitely a gourmet experience. It is an ideal venue for a date night, too. Sometimes they organize events, too. I went to their “Pink Soirée” night where 15% of all their menu was donated to a great charity organization. Worth to go!

Queenie Quynh Nguyen: Spacious for live music. Great band, great singers. Cozy surrounding. The position of the bar is perfect for enjoying music. Drinks are special and good.

Cynthia Hall: We partook of the afternoon tea at Múzsa, and it was absolutely delightful! The use of Herend China, classic & calm ambiance, fantastic piano player, extremely accommodating servers, and a lovely spread of sweet and savory finger foods. The tea was also lovely. I highly recommend booking this experience! I was only sad that we were too full to try a cocktail a the bar afterwards.

Andy Ziesemer: Came in the afternoon for a cocktail - six were available before 5 pm. Customer service was off the charts, and though having limited options, the drink was worth the price. 👌🏼

Gabriela Alvarez Castro: Beautiful place, excellent service. We spent our Christmas dinner there and it was a very cosy and lively atmosphere. Live music, great cocktails and food, the waygu was excellent! Family friendly too. We had a wonderful Xmas!

Tibor Bartha: Ruin-pub in the downtown of Budapest. Lot of people around as well as lot of other pubs. Selfe service at the bar, not very expensive. Feel the mood of downtown Budapest here.

For Sale Pub: what do users think?

Ivanna: Amazing place, amazing experience. One of our favorites. This place is unique. Just to drink a beer or have dinner but it worth a visit. We had the goulash and was delicious. We also tried the ribs and those were amazing. The breaded vegetables were okay but nothing special. It is super recommended to book the previous day because they are often full. Good service and the live music is a must.

Eimaito noumeroxto: Wow. Great experience. Very kind stuff. Food DELICIOUS, huge portions. Try goulash for sure and spaghetti with 4 cheeses. A bit expensive for Hungary, but value for money. The whole atmosphere great, as well as music. Highly recommended

Mira D: Amazing pub, amazing experience. Monkey nuts on the tables, straw underneath, notes pinned to the ceilings. The food is amazing, the plates are massive. 1 plate of food is enough for 2 people. Or 1 adult & 2 kids. It’s on 2 floors, toilets available, kids friendly. We as family loved it & will definitely be back!!

Anastasia Karpovets: One of the best goulash in the city! The theme of the place is to leave the note and pin it to the walls and ceiling. The peanuts peels are thrown right on the floor, each table has basket of peanuts. The portions are giant. Share at least for 2 people. Service improved a lot for the past few years. Big line to sit. Recommend coming right at 12:00 when it opens.

Dolev Cohen: Very nice pub/restaurant with good music and delicious food that comes in very big portions. The place has some cool feature, for example you can write a note and stick it on the ceiling (the whole place is covered in notes from people), also you have a basket of peanuts which you can crack, eat and throw the shell on the floor! The only downside is that the place is quite expensive, but again, very big portions. Pretty good bang for the buck.

G.K Teoh: Unique restaurant and serve Hungarian foods! The pork knuckle, pork ribs and beef wine stews are yummy! The foods range around 10,000 uf per person and nice to experience it. Too bad, the staff is rather inpatient and jump to conclusion while i want to complete my sentence.

Lior Bless: This is my second time at this restaurant, great atmosphere, very large and satisfying dishes - I found that most of them can even be shared. The surf soup is excellent and the schnitzel is also excellent. We will definitely be back again! I rated 4 stars because the service was slow. Other than that everything was just fine.
