Mátyás Kutni: Based on website and the majority of reviews the place looked OK, the best in Budapest, even. Staff was very kind, flexible and quick to communicate with, so that's definitely positive. I have brought my 4.5 months old corgi puppy yesterday (to the Dél-Buda branch) but after going inside and checking out the place I did not leave her there. First thing that threw me off was that while I was still waiting outside (when you get there you have to call a number so they come and let you in) I heard someone yelling with the dogs (Don't go there! Stay here! Come here! I told you not to do that! etc.) which is OK in some cases but a place that prides itself on having professional trainers on site should know better. Yelling never gets you anywhere with a dog, apart from them being fearful of you or mistaking yelling for affection and then continuing with the bad behaviour to get more affection. The second thing was that the place was genuinely dirty, and so were all the dogs there. There is no grass for the dogs to play, there is artificial grass but that belongs to two small private cages by the entrance so unless your dog is antisocial he/she will not go in there. So you have two options for your dog: it goes in the one cage with mulch on the ground, or the one with concrete. Now the one with the mulch was barely covered in mulch, it was about 80% mud and only 20% mulch. The one with the concrete surface (with the smaller breeds, where my dog was supposed to go) had huge puddles all over and all the dogs in there were muddy and dirty from their paws to the top of their heads. I asked what was going on with that, I was told it was because of the rain and there is nothing to be done about the dirt...I did not want to go in to any suggestions so I said thank you and left. I am simply sharing my experience to shed some light on the many many positive reviews that are here. Based on the amazing reviews initially I booked the taxi service as well (they come and pick up the dog, and then take it home after the daycare) but then decided to take the dog instead in the morning and see what the place was like. Thank God I did. I'm sure this place is fine for some but this wasn't an environment I wanted to leave my dog in. It was the same feeling like when you are checking out a nice private school for your kid and then you go and tour the local public school with the bad infrastructure and shady looking kids. It just hits you in the face. They have two other branches (which apparently handle rain better and don't get too dirty) but I'm not very keen on trying either. I will just stick to making arrangements with family members and using private doggy daycares in my area if needed (even though they are more hectic with their availability and sometimes make for logistical nightmares). Thanks for the kindness of your staff though.

We were a little afraid of how he would behave, because he was very timid and scared of most dogs and mistrustful of people. We were turned down by at least 3 places, so we visited CityPets with the calmness of the underdog. The leading lady talked to us at length about Sári's behavior and what, according to our experience, helps her feel better. Thus, they were able to prepare for Sári's arrival well before the first occasion. We didn't expect them to correct our dog's behavior, because we invest a lot of energy in this, but that we can calmly leave it to someone who will take it into account and take its needs into account. For the first time, we were able to see the location, where they will sleep, play, etc. They answered almost all of our questions and fulfilled all of our requests without exception (Sári is afraid of big black dogs, doesn't drink from a metal bowl, etc., her ball calms and relaxes her, so we asked her to have it too, etc.) The first time, we called them several times a day and they readily they answered everything. And when we went to pick him up, they noticeably talked about our dog, how he behaved, etc. So they know the dogs there and pay attention to them. The dogs are outside several times a day, playing, running around and taking care of them. When Sári was there for the first time, they even took the time to sit next to him and take care of him so that he would trust them more. We are extremely satisfied with them and have been entrusting our dog to them with complete peace of mind ever since, who walks in with the caretakers with his tail wagging, even though we take him in for the weekend on average 1-2 times a month. In other respects, the owner was nice, as were the others, but because of the woman, who made me completely unsure about the quality of the place, I would not give a single star in my heart. Choose your words next time, or don't say anything, especially since it has nothing to do with other people's lives. And my dog ​​is completely healthy.

Hobby, donation, okay. But please ... I managed to write on the judging sheet that "kokkel spaniel" ... This event was a huge disappointment.
