Madal Cafe: what do users think?

Ovidiu B: Lovely place in the heart of Budapest. Tasty coffee, but a bit roasted, lot’s of sandwiches and cakes, nice atmosphere on the terrace and inside, well decorated and helpful staff. Kind of like it. Service is a bit slow, but there’s no rush for a good coffee.

Chantha tAing: Wonderful place get coffee for take away but even better to sit and enjoy the coziness and warmth inside. Very affordable coffee and was pleasantly surprised by how tasty their croissant was, as well. The person taking my order spoke English very well and was friendly and nice. Throughout my hour or so sitting there, much more people came and it seemed to always have a short line, which is good because it shows how popular they are! But the barista and cashier works very quickly and efficiently. I prefer getting coffee here than at the fancier coffee places like Grand Central.

Evan Kuo (Taiwanese in Madrid): The place is really cozy and you can see a lot products related with coffee. The stuff is friendly. We ordered one latte and cappuccino for about 4 euro. The price is really fair for the quality they provided. It is a great specialty coffee shop. I will visit it again when I am in Budapest.

Lori Juliot: Loved the atmosphere and presentation of how they served the coffee and food. The Mediterranean croissant was delicious! Loved the americano! Perfect coffee! Very friendly staff. Can sit inside or outside.

Melanie Bertoli: Great coffee spot in Budapest. Very cozy vibe with and upstairs. We got a cinnamon roll and a yogurt which were very tasty. They have a bunch of sandwich, pastry, and yogurt options. Wifi works really well.

Venu Javarappa: Superb.coffee.in.a.spiritual.setting. Hip, trendy cafe in a superb location with a hip crowd and drinks like beetroot latte in addition to the usual suspects like espresso et al. Sublime service. Buzzy location with streams of foot traffic and they’re super busy in the mornings. Seating both downstairs and upstairs and spiritual sayings on the wall and books by Sri Chinmoy besides his photos. Line moves rapidly as they’re fast and efficient. They speak really good English. Best cafe I’ve been to in Budapest by far.

Patrick Boros: What a lovely place! The atmosphere is lively with seats available both top and bottom floors as well as outside. The coffee was amazing. They offer quality coffee brews with some special tea options, as well as chai and matcha lattes (which I can both vouch for) with most flavors available iced for the hot season! The wait time was quick for such quality coffee, and they gave a buzzer so you could wait seated. The coffee blends they use are sold in bags at the back of the store, with some other coffee products such as travel mugs to go with it. There is also a complimentary bakery situated inside the shop. Prices seemed expensive, but the bread looked enticing. If you appreciate quality baked goods it might be worth a try!

Ercan BALCI: Good coffee, decoration, cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. A warm place in both ways. Vegan banana bread and plant milk (oat & rice milk) is available. Loved as it is a vegan friendly place🌱

Noam Tel-vered: By far the best coffee in Budapest, with a great value for money! They offer a variety of coffee and tea options to choose from, alongside healthy and tasety desserts. AND they are extremely vegan friendly! Vegetarian options: Everything is vegetarian, most is vegan, and all is perfect! Dietary restrictions: Multiple vegan, gluten-free, sugar-free and raw options!

Michaela Majkova: Famous coffee, the cafe has a beautiful and pleasant atmosphere, a small cafe with excellent coffee. A great barista who knows how to make coffee. The food was also delicious and fresh.

Magvető Café: what do users think?

Bo-sung Kim: Five starts for the cozy ambience and nice service but the coffee beans seemed sooooo old (rancid smell and flavour) and the carrot cake that we ordered was at least two days old! Hope they make improvements with the coffee and cake quality soon! The place is so cute to serve bad coffee

Myrsini Christopoulou: A quiet place ideal for reading, writing and working on your computer. If you want to have a chat better find someplace else.Coffee was great, not a fan of the sweet pies we tried.

Camila Pereira: I went there to have breakfast but the only option available to eat was a normal croissant. So go expecting just a coffee. The place is nice, nice atmosphere and it’s a Magvetö is a publisher company as well, a lot of books around.

Thierry Henry: Quiet and cozy place for a good coffee, latte, cake and more!Computer friendly (extension chords running to the table) perfect to chill out or work). Eclectic music

Kang Zi Jing: Quiet cafe and bookshop of publishing house Magveto. It felt like it had a scholarly vibe the moment I walked in — people reading, doing work, maybe discussing about politics or philosophy or journalism or something. Good coffee; sadly no English titles as far as I could tell.

Kate Ovsianyk.: I’ve been a loyal customer of this coffee shop for a long time but NOT ANYMORE. I was waiting for my colleague to arrive for a meeting, thus wasn’t ordering things for around 15-20 mins, to do it together. One of the workers approached me with a comment “the places here are only for customers, so order something”. Then 5 mins later - the second worker did the same, with same approach, whenI already explained who/ why am I waiting for. I believe it’s inappropriate to come to a regular customer with the a comment like this. If you are concerned I won’t order things approach me and ask “would you like something to drink/eat” and if my answer is no then “inform me on the rules”. But considering I was a customer here for more than a year - and i definitely know the rules - it was just rude. I’m looking forward for the official reply. Many thanks. 😉 As a side note: the coffee shop is laptop friendly, has nice coffee & snacks. So kudos for that. 👍🏾

David Naylor: The music, coffee, staff and interior of the cafe are all amazing. I came here to work for the afternoon and had a really productive few hours thanks to their strong flat white. They played chilled techno and house music, which is my favorite for working/studying! Probably one of the best cafes I have visited for studying across a number of cities! I look forward to returning.

Mujie Sienna Yan: Very nice environment, perfect for studying, meeting with friends and working. Excellent decor and lots of books!

MassolitBudapest Books and Café: what do users think?

Abeer Abdulrahim: Lovely cafe/working space with a warm atmosphere. I had to work for a few hours during my stay in Budapest and this place was an absolute gem. They have a wide selection of used books, could have spent hours browsing them. Highly recommend.

Virág Natália Szűcs: This is a safe haven in this busy part of the city. Everytime I visit I feel like I’m in a movie or some sort of modern fairy tale. Great atmosphere, a truly magical little garden that’s open when the weather allows, and a huge variety of amazing books to buy and start reading right away with your coffee. They also host many kinds of cultural events.

Kang Zi Jing: Cafes and books shouldn’t mix. Because I would then spend all my time and money there. Delicious coffee in a really cozy book store. Barista/shopkeeper was nice. They have a refreshing courtyard too. Some titles in English and common European languages. Mostly in Hungarian. They also sell some souvenirs/items like beautiful notebooks.

Ettore Botti: Massolit was a beautiful surprise. They’re a bookstore/coffee and tea place. You’ll find a good selection of new and used books in English - they’ve also got books about Hungary/Judaism in English. Sit down, have some coffee and browse their shelves. Really cool place and good coffee.

Lidia T: Cute bookshop / cafe. Very cosy, friendly staff. They have new and second hand books. Good selection of books in English. You easily can spend couple of hours here with a book and a cup of coffee

Jessica Wu: Wish I could have stayed longer. Very reasonable prices for everything and such a unique and cozy interior. The peanut butter cookie was a bit dry but I loved the vibe of the place.

Farisha Jabbar: A cute, warm, cozy little bookstore and cafe. It was nice to sip on some hot cocoa in here on a cold day. There are a variety of books to read from. The wooden book shelves, tables, and chairs make it feel like you are in an old school bookstore. Mostly a bunch of students with laptops in there, but still quite quiet. The staff is friendly. The hot cocoa was okay (a bit bitter and unsweetened, but they have sugar that you can use). All in all, it was nice to see this type of bookstore still exists in the world.

Christos Pavlopoulos: Lovely bookstore with plenty of nice vintage looking books as well as some newer ones. Souvenirs were pretty much a must buy! Lovely coffee too!

Nikos Tsakpinis: One of the best bookstore/coffee places I’ve been. Vintage style inside. Full of books, some of them new but mainly second-hand ones. Great coffee and service as well. A must-visit for bookstore lovers in case you find yourself in Budapest!

Madal Cafe: what do users think?

Anastasia Karpovets: Madal chain is one of my favorite coffee places in Budapest. Pets friendly, always chill atmosphere and great coffee and desserts. This particular one is very close to the Parliament and is a nice place to sit down for cup of tea or coffee after walk near parliament

Wayne Mowery: Simply put, the best cup of black coffee of my life. I am a huge coffee lover, so I don’t say this lightly. If you are passionate about coffee, Madal Cade should be your headquarters. I only have a few more days in this beautiful city and I am sure to return to this cafe before departing…with plenty of coffee in tow.

Christian Harris: Super chilled out cafe, large with plenty of seating, a large coffee accessory shop and a baker attached. We had their V60, which was delicious and full of flavour. Expertly made, showing off the full flavour of their coffee. They also had spiritual books (Buddhist?) for sale, although that wasn’t why I came!

Angelo Baaklini: Calm cafe well located next to the parliament bldg The decor and atmosphere are relaxing for a nice breakfast They have a wide variety of sandwiches, croissant and sweets with another variety of coffees. Enjoyed our last breakfast in budapest there☺️

sonelee makoona: Vegan cafe, with nice service. The ambience is great and the Parliament is next to it which makes it a great place to grab coffee… even if the coffee is a little pricey. The food is not bad overall… I wish there was more flavor to it.

Ike Ichael: A good deal for a filtered coffee. Big mug of coffee. The menu deal with a sandwich and latte is also an excellent deal. The caprese sandwich was excellent. Staff was very helpful and quick.

ofir shemesh: Every thing is great, workers are nice and smiley, line is a little longRecommended dishes Caramel Coffee …More

arch arch: There is no internet connection, so if you plan to study or work there, be prepared to do it offline. The orders are slow and they forgot my order and I waited for them after 8 orders that came after me. Then they asked me what are you waiting for!! The design is cool, the staff is not. I am sorry.

Cyntia Hegyes: My favourite Starbucks in Budapest because it has a large space, quiet, cozy, really good if you have to work/study. Staff is nice as always.

Ronen Amiram: Very beautiful Starbucks ! The only place we could find SOY milk !! It’s crazy ! Everyone uses almond milk but couldn’t find a place with SOY milk ! The air conditioning almost wasn’t felt on this hot day, but still could chill some

K Adams: Spacious, good service, fast wifi, nice coffee. The best Starbucks style coffee place I found in the city

Espresso Embassy: what do users think?

Dominika Nosková: Loved this coffee place. Excellent coffee, they have 3 kinds of vegan milk. Amazing cakes. Many of the vegan, even some gluten-free options. We had the pistachio cruffin and it was just wow. Such a stylish interior, beautiful wooden furniture. Would happily drink coffee here everyday. Very good vibes. And the have 3 types of self service water - sparkling, cold and room temperature.

Helga Honest: The most delicious coffee in town! Cozy and atmospheric place. Very friendly and helpful staff and you can come here with dogs! I am allergic to one of the types of nuts, and when I wanted to try a dessert with nuts, I was kindly provided with a folder containing the composition of desserts with photos. It was very cool, thanks to this opportunity I was able to try all the desserts and they are great. We have been enjoying coffee here for more than half a year! The photo is my favorite dessert. I highly recommend trying the cheesecake!

Shirley F: Seems to be a local coffee shop with residents working, tourists chatting, and dogs roaming. It also features my favorite interior design of brick wall, long wooden tables and benches. Love that industrial, rustic vibe. The coffee was good, frankly better than the one from across the street at La Table. It was interesting that lattes were served in a glass cup.

Ouissal Benameur: We had breakfast here, coffee was very good. We saw some good reviews about the pecan pie, we decided to try it. It was very delicious but too sweet, the pecan part has a lot of sweet syrup which reminded me of Baklava. The matcha latte was tasty and the goat cheese pasty was also better than the ones we tried in other Cafés.

Charles Hua: A delightful café near the heart of Budapest! Absolutely loved the chill atmosphere and the cool underground wine cellar feel. The latte with oat milk was pleasantly smooth, and the yogurt with fresh fruit and granola was tasty and a great complement for a Saturday breakfast. Prices are also very reasonable. An all-around great coffee shop, one I will definitely hope to return to on my next trip to Budapest!

Heidi Fenz: Good coffee ( I drank a cappuccino) and good place to buy fresh beans. Service was friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed and subdued. Not too touristy - being a guide in my own country I felt compelled to check out all the traditional classic cafes, and though they were stunning, Espresso Emporium is an authentic local relief.

Robyn Amy Fincham: Gorgeous little spot for a coffee and light breakfast. Lovely music, perfect atmosphere and friendly staff!*More of a coffee spot than for breakfast, has a few breakfast options (Pesto toast and Granola) and some pastries.

My Little Melbourne Coffee x Bon Dia: what do users think?

Li-Yun Yin: The place is small and cozy. I had a cut of flat white here. The espresso and the milk are well-balanced. You can taste the sour taste of the coffee and also a little bit sweet. I like the coffee very much.

I-Hsin Yang: Cute little place with lovely coffee. Fantastic cinnamon buns. Their crossant was okaaay. Really cute interior. Very comfortable for working with a laptop.

Hugo Da Costa: If you love a good espresso, look no further, this is the place. I asked for a espresso and I was offered a Ruanda and a Papúa. I went for the second choice, a more acid taste than usual but definitely you’ll enjoy it. My wife ordered a Ruanda one, and she was also happy with her choice. The staff was welcoming, they knew their business and that only improved the experience.

Marianne Gladwin: Gets busy very quickly so grab a table when you can. V60 were very nice: we tried Guatemala and Rwanda. Pastries were fresh and tasty: had plain croissant and a cinnamon bun. We stayed for a 3rd coffee to sample the Guatemala one last time before hitting the road and had the blueberry cheesecake. Prices are very fair and staff are polite and responsive. Parking: Parking right outside, there were always available spots. Wheelchair accessibility: The cafe has 2 seating areas: 1 with a deck and 1 without. noticed a few moms with pushchairs taking advantage of this too.

Anett Balla: Excellent coffee. A cozy place with a great selection of coffee, tea and pastries. There is an upstairs seating area where you can even work and just sit there with your laptop enjoying a good cup of coffee.

João Rosa: One of the best cafes in Budapeste. Friendly staff and was able to read some stuff about coffee while was drinking mine. So nice!

Aleksandr Nechaev: Perfect specialty coffee ☕ Take into account that dine-in option is cheaper than takeaway. So if you have 15-30 min, probably it’s better to enjoy a coffee and the atmosphere in the coffee shop.

Carina Schwarz: Totally recommendable! Great coffee, amazing tasting cakes (we ordered the chocolate cake and it was delicious!), the atmosphere is chill and really cute. Would make this my daily go to spot if I lived here! :)

Sou Montazeri: Cute little cafe with good espresso drinks and seats outside. It’s a bit on the pricey side but I’d recommend to try if you are around and in need of a coffee.Staff is nice too.

Emanuel Boderash: Loved this coffee shop in Budapest. It was recommended to me by my Hungarian friend and is tucked away in a small alley away from the tourist area. The staff is really nice and friendly and served us water after we finished our coffees and continued chatting for a while.

Fausto Torelli: The best coffee and breakfast / brunch in Budapest! The attention is great, the coffee is delicious and the food is quality superior, I’ll definitely come back only to try again the avocado bagel. They made my day

Shotiko Japaridze: Minimalist spot that takes coffee seriously They don’t play around, with a bold statement about not service coffee w/ milk or sugar. I like their conviction The vibe is very Brooklyn too, but what place isn’t these days. Yeah, they play old school hip hop at times but we love it right?

Simon: Best specialty coffee shop in town. I had the best coffee experience from Budapest here. I drank an espresso and a v60 and both of them were great with fruity notes. I also tasted a nitro flat white and was also great. I appreciate that this coffee shop does not compromise and does not have sugar in the shop, does not make americanos. You can see that they are passionate about delivering the best coffee you can drink.

Square Ho: Nitrogen cold brew without the velvety feeling and foam because it is the last cup of the batch. Oh, what a good reason! Well, should a cup of cappuccino be sold without any foam? Try your luck to get a good coffee here. The quality is not stable, that is what I think.

Shantal Del Rio: The place is really nice and the coffee is very good. Also the staff were very friendly.Totally recommended!!

Richard George: Very good coffee! The staff could be smiling a bit more though..😅

Levente Juhasz: Strong inverse relationship between the size of the place and the quality of its coffee 😉 Tiny space, superb specialty stuff! The espresso shot I had from their Ethiopian coffee was on par with the best in town.

Melanie Bertoli: A chill and calming atmosphere. Has very comfy couches. I got an aero press brew and they let me smell the bean to decide which I wanted. Very friendly staff and great coffee.

Hassene Ben Salem: Good coffee and nice atmosphere. I enjoyed the Hungarian scrambled eggs. We came here a bunch of times during the month of August and I was disappointed to see a perceivable price bump on this dish.

Jiaqi Z.: Great study space, fast wifi, many power sockets, self-serve water. Espresso was extremely acidic 🙅🏻‍♀️ but cortado was good 💁🏻‍♀️ Pastries are wonderfully flaky without being too sweet 🐷 Not very quiet (some people talk on phone / do conference calls) but spacious and dog friendly. Prices seem reasonable.

Juan Silva: The best coffee I have tried in all my trip through Europe is located here.Personnel is very nice and the place is very comfy.I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a great cup of coffee in Budapest

Nastassia Dadykina: Nice place, tasty coffee and breakfast, friendly helpful staff. Thanks for a very pleasant beginning of our trip to Budapest! Also very beautiful guests, as you can see

Dula a laktační poradkyně - Michaela Pejřimovská: Loved this place! The food was amazing - Hungarian eggs were lit, and the coffee too. Service was also very good, we enjoyed it all. Unfortunately we only had 6 hours of Budapest between flights, but I know already this is the place to go for breakfast when I come back one day!

Giota Paschali: incredible experience.... very quiet place and with relaxed energy the music is very nice and in the right volume. the coffee is tasty and high quality. I ate a croissant it was fresh and tasty with good quality of its products. prices are normal. Polite staff willing to serve you. I will definitely visit it every time I come to Budapest. Good job !!!

adeline looi: Delightful café near the market hall, and they roast their own beans. Distinct flavour and IMHO best enjoyed black :)We also had a cheesecake to go with it, which was decent. Nice ambiance.

Kata: My favorite cafe in Budapest! A few years ago they transitioned to roasting their own coffee and the taste is phenomenal:) they have a wide range of pastries and desserts to eat and even some local craft drinks! The team are all very friendly and the vibe of the cafe is also very warm and welcoming

D kim: They make delicious coffee. The croissant sandwiches were excellent. Friendly staff. 5 stars for the coffee shop !

Monika Z: Really nice place with option to select dark to light roast for your coffee. The plum crumble cake is delicious. Highly recommendedFood: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Marta Krzeminska: ✪ A big stamp of approval from a coffee hopper for the quality of the americano. ✪ A big stamp of approval for the bakery selection and flavour from an original French person(TM). ✪ ✪ Two large stamps or approval from both of us, millennials with their heyday in 2010s, for the music playlist! Bonus points for the smiling staff, cool couches, nice colours and a friendly vibe!

Azar Farehi: Cute cosy place, good coffee and quiche. I could easily see myself taking a book there and sitting for an hour or two. Will you open a branch in London??

Kasia Ch: Cozy place to grab sth nice to drink. Quite a few options, very tasty ethiopian coffee. Kind staff. On the down side, the matcha latte, despite being tasty, not prepared correctly as a lot of undissolved clumps of matcha powder were present in the cup, affecting the overall enjoyment of the beverage.

Cube Coffee Bar - specialty coffee shop: what do users think?

Marlena Marla: I love this place for my vegan sandwich 😃, for best coffee in town and the most important the people. The owner is so nice, she loves what she does. She speaks very good English so there is no communication issues. Place is next to the park where I just take my coffee and I can enjoy walking. It is also dog friendly.

Karolína Sejkorová: Such a nice coffee spot in Budapest- actually the best one I’ve visited during my weekend trip!! Coffee was so good and staff was so nice that I had to come back one more time again. Also bought a bag of lovely filter coffee beans. Highly recommended 👍🏻

Cesar Desouza: Very small space. Very little choice of food. Across the street there are more tables. But, the coffee will arrive cold. Wrap sandwiches only. Some cakes. I opted for an American coffee and Banana Nut Cake. Comparing to other breakfasts that the city offers, Cube leaves a lot to be desired.

Tip L: We spent a lovely afternoon here enjoying the delicious cakes and coffee. All desserts are homemade and you can buy their own cookbook to steal their recipes 😃. The space is bright and open. We had a good time!

Lili Ryu: Delicious coffee and pleasant atmosphere! Came here every day during my week stay in Budapest. Highly recommended 💖

Liam Avalon: Quite possibly the best coffee I’ve had in Budapest, and in ages. Great atmosphere as well!

Lóska Marci: Nice spot to recharge. Off the beaten track. Great coffe, good sweet and salty pastry.Food: 4/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Melina: Friendly staff, nice outside area on the sidewalk next to the park. Coffee is good (3/5) (cow milk alternatives are provided) and the cake is great (5/5, especially the banana bread, very juicy)! It’s one of the best places for coffee in the area. Since there are a couple of places in Budapest that convince me a bit more with their coffee, I can’t do 5 stars, but you can won’t be disappointed by cube.

Gwyllym Tilbrook: Great little cafe near our hotel. Did the best coffee we had in Budapest and that’s saying something. Lovely staff and if there’s still a slice of the pumpkin or banana bread lurking around - grab it! You won’t regret it!

Emily Elizabeth: Good coffee. Consistent with other Starbucks branches worldwide. Staff were pleasant. Only negative was the large amount of pigeons outside, surrounding and on the tables, but this probably can’t be helped.

Jeff Kahane: This location has a nice little spot to sit if the weather is good except the street is busy and noisy. The store is clean and well looked after but maybe try something local and enjoy Starbucks at home. That said, their iced tea is refreshing.

Jovana Vucinic: Nice and very clean coffee shop. Friendly staff and fast service.Vegetarian options: Vegan products are clearly marked.Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Reza Shokouhi: this place saved me during a hot weather when I also needed to use the WC, it helped to cool and it has great location by the bridge close to important sightseeing

Zeljko Bilanovic: Nice location. Questionable cleanliness should add a few higher tables. Should ask coffee to go or not. For those who are staying drinks should be served in proper cups or glasses, not to serve all automatically in paper cups. Raw protein bars are the worst bars I ever tasted, sorry .

ilias H: They could do better with the tables. To give more space to the customers and create a nice environment. The coffee was not so bad. The employees were not the happiest people. The manager should work more at this place.

Kata Budapest tour guide: It had been a while since I last visited a Starbucks. Had a very nice experience, the croissant was soo tasty as well as the espresso :) U have the market hall view through the windows.

E Evangelista: I like this Starbucks layout, minimalist and very simple and easy to manage (for staff cleaning wise) Baristas are friendly and accommodating (relaying only on their tone of voice as you cannot really depends on facial expression as they are wearing mask which is totally understanble). I only trust and visit local Starbucks (feel safe in the shop, secure card transactions, comfortable dining experience plus additional perks of clean toilet on a very busy tourist destination and free charging station in most sitting.

Radhika Velayudhan: Everybody knows how starbucks works I guess. But, I must admit how convenient it is to find starbucks on your way; and there are numerous outlets in Budapest. We could just spend hours sipping coffee or just munching on their brownies. We could bring our laptops, work, study, read, or just be on the phone. All the staffs were friendly and spoke really good English.

Tyler Berlein: When I arrived at the counter the server Luca was standing on her phone typing a message I stood there for about 2 minutes while I waited for her to finish typing her message, I’m a very patient and friendly individual, I ordered to large coffees and a bacon and cheese croissant she had a terrible attitude and gave me my croissant cold when I asked politely if she could warm it up she got more rude and rolled her eyes at me never have I seen such a bad attitude from a person working in a restaurant, I think she should find another job because she clearly does not want to be there, an overall bad croissant and experience in general.

Aljaž Peklaj: Starbucks with the most beautiful location in Budapest looking at a Central Market and next to beautiful park.

Elina Petrova: This Starbucks is always crowded, so it’s good mostly for takeout. The drinks are good every time but one employee (a blonde girl) was very rude for no apparent reason, which is why I am taking away one star.

Crni Krap: I ordered coconut matcha tea latte. The taste of matcha was good, but the price was too high. Also there is almost no place to sit in. Service was really bad, because my order took 10minutes at least and many other customers that came later received coffee before me. The order was also wrong than one that I ordered. I am kinda disappointed by service and atmosphere of the place. Conclusion: In Budapest you could get much better product in many other cafes with much better ambient where you could also sit in.

Diana Kim: Go here often cuz I live nearby. Asked to load 5000 forints on my starbucks card but they charged my 6000 forints on my credit card. There is only 5000 fotints topped on my starbucks card. Where does this 1000 firunts go?? And how is this possible? U guys use two separate charging devices and you can charge different amout while topping less on the starbucks card? Just went there to claim my credit and got sooooo suprised by the employees attitude. I cannot believe what just happened.never coming back.

Starbucks Egyetem tér: what do users think?

Jeff Kahane: What can you say. It’s Starbucks but you are in Europe. You know what you are getting but maybe try something local be it coffee or a snack. For most people, you can enjoy Starbucks when you head back home. There is nothing wrong with the location. It’s clean and nice.

Ting Liu: Good for a short break. Barista is friendly and welcoming. We had a relax time.

Elina Petrova: Very good atmosphere, a lot of space to sit (usually more places available than in other Starbucks places around town), good drinks and the staff is friendly.

Lars Jacobs: Friendly staff, and great espresso. Bonus points for serving the espresso with water (as it should be).

Karyn Dietrich: The baristas were very friendly and helpful. They watched my dog while I went to the restroom and also brought her water. :)

Jim Jared: coffe ia great, men is great, but so hut inside everyday and very dirty wc...

Budapest Baristas: what do users think?

Anett Balla: Amazing spot for breakfast or only for a good coffee. The staff is very kind and professional, the place has a great, cozy atmosphere. We have tried the avocado-goat cheese-poached eggs bagels as well as the croque monsieur, both were excellent. The portions are quite big and there is free water with glasses both in the downstairs and upstairs area.

Anna: This place is classic and cute. They have good egg Benedict and other food, of course tea and coffee, latte and you name it. The egg Benedict with salmon is tasty and very full filling. Also they have WiFi and some outlets near the wall so you can work from there as well.

Lam Ma: It is cute small place, but pricey. We ate croque monsieur, it is good, but not great, especially for the price. Also you are limited to one hour, when you sit, not when you get your meal. So we had just about enough time to eat.

Brian Starr: Totally 5 stars. Breakfast food, coffee, and service. Great cappuccinos and quality espresso. Also drip/filter coffee options! Only negative is the place is relatively small so for groups of 3 or more they have only 2 tables. The other tables are all for groups of 2 or less. Very recommendable place.

Martin Lutaaya: The meal(breakfast) was perfect. I loved it very much. The customer service was excellent thanks to polite personnel at this place. Only challenge was the space availability as there were plenty of people.

mauricio pereira: This is one of the best places for breakfast/brunch. The food is delicious and the coffee is just perfect YOU WILL NOT REGRET COMING HERE :) The atmosphere of the place is very chill with a cute hipster vibe The ladies at the front are friendly, helpful and always smiling (amazing customer service comparing to local Standards) Just a quick bit of comment I needed my receipt long after I finished my meal and the girls without even asking why or just denying my request gave me a new one :)

Klára Szabó: Really good coffee (not for people who don’t like light roast or speciality coffee in general), I had a flat white, it was perfect! I also ordered lemonade with grilled sandwich, I loved them, I will come back for brunch for sure.

Nikol Kaufman: Portions are huge and prices are relatively good compare with what you get. A broad menu with brunch options such as croquettes, Benedicts or omelettes/fried eggs. Coffee is really bad…

Vladimir Dzalbo: The coffee is amazing. People who work here are and pleasant and make you feel welcome. The food is ok. The only negative thing about the place is how uncomfortable the furniture is. Tiny chairs and tables make it not very suitable place to linger around for a long :-/
