Gabriella Karvak: Went to buy Augustine strings, they charged me 4290 HUF, while in the webshop is 3590 HUF. People would feel less busted if the store price would be shown online as well. After paying the sales person told me: next time tell me you wanted to buy for the online price, as if i could choose between the prices in the store. Nice approach, isn't it? I could have leave it, but is this the correct approach to sell?

Léber Zalán: Guitar person seemed very unbothered and unecessarily high-brow. I tried to buy a specific product that the website said "ready to pick up", I also tried to call the shop to see if they have it but they did not pick up. When I got there I was told that the product was not in the shop and they made me feel like I was dumb to even assume they had it. Other than that the other staff that wasnt the guitar person seemed nice and helpful and it is probably the biggest instrument store anywhere near.
Siôn le Roux: Staff were very friendly and effective in helping me find the equipment I was looking for. I previously bought my guitar here as well, it's a quality instrument and they also offered useful advice on selecting one. I would definitely recommend it.

Sándor Körözsi: They were really helpful and at the end I left the shop with two things I didn't thought I would need. But they convinced me to buy them instead of what I wanted and I don't mind that, it was a better choice! They saved me a lot of money with these too and I got much more possibilities with these tools. I bought a guitar, amplifier/effect combo + loop pedal instead of multieffekt pedal + amp with integrated but poor looper.
Stauche zjo: After comparing with many stores, we decided to buy digital piano in this store. The staff is very friendly (at the cashier). He introduced the piano and was very efficient handling the order. The price was fair. The delivery was made as planned. We have been playing the piano all the time, the quality is great. Definitely recommend this store.

Rita Sarkar: I inquired about a violin sheet music over the phone. After endlessly kind information, they even called me back and put the product aside in my name, which is not a common practice these days. Shortly before closing, we arrived for the sheet music with my little girl, who received a purple balloon and very friendly words during our purchase. Although we haven't had a chance to look around yet, the store is really cool and they are willing to answer all the questions we have, so we are absolutely impressed. We wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone!

Juan Luis Orozco: I buy most of my guitar gear there. The staff is super helpful and kind, it's always nice to visit because of the service they give. It has a really good variety of the resources I need more often (strings, capos and other tools), and I find them to be very well priced.

Áron Tóth: We just wanted to have a look...the truth is that we were very surprised! The shop itself is not very big (although it turned out later that the appearance is deceiving), but we immediately caught our attention - literally - because there is a treble clef and a bass clef shining on the ceiling, but the wind instruments seen in the display cases and the light reflected from them further enhance the sparkling atmosphere. Yes, by the way, the atmosphere: for the time being, we just wanted to find out about the approximate size of, say, a mid-range digital piano and the "others". The sales lady conscientiously showed us the range, and we even listened to demos of some of her pianos, since we are still at the beginning of the decision process. It is a big dilemma to choose between Roland and other types, or between Roland's pianos with different capabilities, but we got help in this too. Everything was here: from the portable, almost synthesizer size, to the beautiful lacquered, exclusive instrument that looks like a real piano (even more beautiful) and sounds like a competition piano. We were also able to admire all the other accessories: piano stool, etc., so the only thing left to decide is which one to choose. We were given contact information if we had any further questions, and of course we ended up bringing a piano pencil and mug (because they are there) from the store. Rita Csomor: Our guitar teacher specifically recommended that we visit this store. We were not disappointed! After washing our hands a little (which I especially liked, because that way we know that the instruments are being taken care of), we were able to try out the guitars while sitting on the piano stool prepared there. It is especially important that the child is constantly growing, so it really didn't matter which size we chose, but so that he could take the instruments in his hands, and with the help of the seller we also found out exactly how to measure the neck and that his hands should fit properly is it through? I liked that the smaller guitars also come in a variety of colors, which is important for children. In the store, we were able to immediately buy a case for him, which he will wear to the guitar lesson: we really liked the light but lined cases decorated with all kinds of colorful stripes. We were able to buy everything from the list that the teacher gave us, and they also provided us with good advice. The rainbow music stand is our favorite, we've never seen it anywhere! A word like a hundred: I wholeheartedly recommend the Victoria instrument store to all parents who want to buy an instrument for their child! You will receive friendly and professional service!

hajni adányi: I have never seen such a large proportion of negative reviews for such a small store. In some ways, it is comforting that others have described how critical the attitude of sellers is to customers. I hope that others will read the reviews first and, learning from them, won't even visit the store, so that they don't end up with the kind of disappointment and bad experience, and last but not least, humiliation, that happened to me or those before me. It's an unfortunate experience in this business that they take advantage of you if you don't understand the product. I openly indicated this to them, turning to them for help, and they were able to provide a product incompatible with the existing instrument. The exchange was subsequently refused. I will of course contact consumer protection. Please avoid this place, as the staff offers you incompatible accessories to your instrument and after you would ask for an exchange, they refuse the replacement. Please read the other numerous negative experiences in the reviews below and stay away from this shop. I'm quite positive that any other shops are way cheaper than this one, nevertheless they most definitely offer you a high quality customer experience. Here you will find the opposite unfortunately.
Response: Dear Adányi Hajnalka! We have never seen such a high level of indifference regarding a supposedly important purchase. Since it is very rare that a customer does not even pay attention to what he wants to buy, and then complains about a purchase in which he was almost not even present, since he was constantly listening to what was "in his ear" during the phone call. Our colleague couldn't really communicate with you, even though she wanted to. We recommend that during your next purchase, you pay a minimum of attention to what you are buying and if you do not understand it - as you say, feel free to ask for help, but respect the person who intends to help you by talking to him and not to someone else, so that the actual any misunderstanding can be avoided during communication.
Delphine “Imola” Rochelle: A demanding musical instrument store with a large selection. Their harp rental option is certainly a huge help not only to me, but to others as well. I can't even imagine that I would have been able to start playing the harp otherwise, considering that even the smallest and simplest harps (anywhere in the world) border on the unaffordable. In addition, at the beginning of learning an instrument, not even an adult (let alone a child) can know whether it will be eternal love, or whether one's enthusiasm will fade in a few months, and you would not like to invest such large sums on one's blind. A few people mentioned that the sheet music selection is not huge. I think the most important basic sheet music can be found for every instrument, but obviously this is an instrument store, not a music store, and there is also limited space for them. They will probably get something else to order. The sellers and the owner were very nice and helpful on the phone and/or in person, we also looked at a guitar for my little son at the same time, who was enthusiastic on the spot (and like all small children, he can be quite underfoot, but the sellers are also musicians :) - they didn't show that she was pregnant) which is a complete procedure with the harp rehearsal, the paperwork, the collection of accessories, the packaging of the instrument and the disembarking of my child was by no means an easy task. Nina Ellis: Avoid the Victoria Music instrument store on Fény Street from afar. It is not enough that the customer is scammed (I thought it was just a mistake) and I dared to go back to complain. He charged a separate fee for the mouthpiece in the original box of a newly purchased instrument, without which the instrument cannot be used. The store manager informed me that this was not a mistake, that I had no rights as a customer and that once I had paid, I acted like this. Besides, they have many other customers, so it's okay if I don't buy from them at other times. 😡😡😡 I don't recommend this music store to anyone. I purchased a brand new clarinet and was charged extra for a piece of the instrument that was included in its original case (the instrument would not work without this part). I thought it was a mistake, so I went back. I was told by the manager that they have the right to charge me extra for the piece and I have zero rights as a customer. They would not give back the extra charge and I could not even return the unused instrument still wrapped in its original packaging purchased the previous business day. He also told me that he has many customers so he doesn't need my business in the future. What a shame!
Tibor Leipán: I am absolutely satisfied with the offer and the professional knowledge of the sellers. There wasn't a question that they couldn't answer (digi zongi, I also got a discount 🙂 ). Judit Peñafiel Roman: I bought my 2 firsts guitars here, I even recommended a friend to change the guitar strings for her guitar here. The guitar and the guidance from the guys working in the store were amazing so I'm really sorry to put this bad review even though they were nice and really helpful. The lady on the reception on the other hand, doesn't have any idea about the instruments and it's clearly oriented to make money. Even though I bought a guitar 2 days ago and I was picking up the guitar of my friend today was really unpleasant and 0 customer oriented, even rude. Due to a confusion, she made the invoice and warrantee without having collected the money yet, I felt harassed and really uncomfortable, won't go back to that store and wouldnt recommend it to anyone, while she is on charge. Also, the device I bought was for 21900huf and the lady realized at the moment it was 23900huf, so didn't even discounted those 2000huf even when it was their mistake. They put a second price sticker on top of it and that's it.
Westwood Condo: The store itself was pretty cool, not huge but they had a decent selection of guitars. I was staying at a nearby hotel and decided to pop in to check it out. The staff member there seemed friendly enough and told me about more guitars they had downstairs. Unfortunately he proceeded to follow me around every step I took. It was quite annoying as every time I moved he moved with me around the whole store. I had considered trying a couple of the instruments out but I felt very uncomfortable so I just decided to leave.

János Bujáki: I wanted to buy a Shure SRH 940 headphone. Purchasing was a bit cumbersome and I almost gave up, but they swung over the difficulties. They finally managed to get it and they called me to have it, so on Dec 23 I was very happy to go, listen to it, buy it. They were very decent, I got a chair, I could step aside and listen, they didn’t sigh, I was left alone while I decided. Thank goodness the purchase was over even the price was fair. This is also thanks to the sellers on the way.

Filip Petrović: Wanted to buy some guitar accessories, found it quite easily, lady working there was quite nice & helped me pick the appropriate capo. Only thing I find lacking was the lack of accessories, but keep in mind I visited during end of December, holiday season.
Murad: Easily the best guitar shop in Budapest. If you happen to come on the weekend you'll meet the owner, Maestro Peter Tornai, an excellent classical guitarist. His son spoke perfect english and was quite helpful and understanding. If you're a classical guitarist, this is the spot.
S Sherman: Exceptional service. I am a total beginner (got a second-hand guitar from a friend) and went in just for some picks and a capo. The owners are super helpful and friendly, they have excellent diversity of accessories and guitars, and I feel like I can return anytime for tips, tricks, and maybe some day a new guitar :)
Alex Arutyunjan: The young saleswoman was very polite and patient, while I was choosing and trying guitars for more than an hour. I bought Alhambra one even cheaper than in Spain!

Péter Falvi: I left my guitar here for string binding. I got a nice job back, although the string legs were a bit cramped - the wood must have absorbed itself. Unfortunately, the information I received in advance was not comprehensive: although such servicing costs a fixed amount, they did not say the HUF 13,000 price on the phone, but "it depends". I didn't think this was fair. My problem is not with the amount, but with the uncertainty, I didn't even have enough cash, I had to withdraw it from my bank account, causing an uncomfortable situation for myself and the sales lady. This is the reason for the three-star rating.

Mike Colby: This is a great guitar store. The staff was friendly and helpful. He spoke very good English if that is important to you. They accept cash and card. They had exactly what I needed. I’ll be going back when I need more supplies!
Martin Hong: Tiny shop and unfriendly staff. Gave me an annoyed look when I asked if I can take a look around and mistakenly thought there was more downstairs. Not the best experience to go into a shop to have a staff looking at you like you are less than welcome.

Brian Moore: Very unprofessional! The owner cursed at my wife and called her an imbecile and other curse words in response to her telling him that the cello we rented for our student son had not been approximately tuned. This came after 1. Rather than simply letting us bring it in they had our son try to do it with instructions over the phone with the result of my son breaking a string. 2 my wife was told by an assistant that it had been tuned which was clearly not the case as we ended up coming in and having it tuned to where my son could make normal adjustments. There is no excuse for this hostile,insulting, arrogant treatment of us

Ákos Nagy: A demanding, nicely furnished shop, rich in musical instruments. The owner was very polite, helpful and patient (not only with us, but also with the guests who came during our shopping). His expertise is beyond doubt for me. It has a separate tuning room, so it was possible to exclude any disturbing circumstances when choosing the instrument. The prices reflect the quality, but everyone can find an instrument that suits their budget and skills. Parking options are limited and what is available is paid. Payment by bank card is also possible. Their invoicing system and loyalty "program" are excellent. I recommend to everyone.
