Hailey Kim: I really like antiques. So I was looking forward to a trip to Hungary and this market is the place I wanted to visit the most😊 I was worried because the reviews were so bad and I was disappointed already because it was a rainy Friday💧 when I went there, I felt better after seeing interesting shops and various things. The merchants were very kind, explained the stuff well. they genuinely love and care their antiques. It was a good experience 👍🏻 just tell them what you are looking for and price they will help you to find what you want 😎
Eyal Katz: Authentic antique flea market. One can finds real Hungarian culture treasures.
Martin Mares: Most of the sellers are not there most of the time and on Friday morning the market was without visitors, but still plenty of interesting stuff to go through :-) The opening hours differ from what google says, see picture.
Daniel Pankovics: Disappointment. There are only few permanent shops are open. Those try to sell old, dirty, broken furniture. It might be Covid or the disinterest, what killed this once vibrant and full-of-life place.
Jeremy Cowan: Great variety of items from classic antiques to more modern retro goods. Easy to get to on public transport (bus) from the city centre. Good friendly atmosphere.
Adnane ali: The market is not worth going in the case of having interset to buy an item with an interest price. First, even on sunday mots of strores are closed. The price is so high, so don t expect to make a good deal, even if the sellers are friendly except one aged and tall man whose store located next to entry on the right.
aki _m: I went there around noon on Friday and not so many shops were open but some still. I got some stuffs for myself but wanted to have more if I had enough cash. So make sure to bring enough cash! Some venders speak English but mostly not, if you are German speaker there are more chance to talk to them to get little bit of discount. I got some discount by negotiating in German:) Anyway, it was relaxed atmosphere on the weekdays and for me it was worth to go there even it is a bit far from central.
Alexandra Saliga: I went there with my family and partner. It is a great place for antique treasures and there are many very interesting items. We enjoyed our time there, but I was a little bit disappointed with the service. If you go there, make sure you go there knowing the value of the items you are interested to look at, as people there try to sell you items way too expensive when they see you are a foreigner. Also, some sellers when you are just looking at items are just way too forceful. But on the other hand, there were real treasures there and some very friendly and knowledgeable people. We have seen many World War II antique items, paintings, antique furniture, pictures. There is this amazing camera shop. It had several antique old-fashioned cameras in this hidden little room. If you go there this little place is a place that you MUST visit. I have included an picture of that place. There are some little buffets where you can go and get some refreshments. I think parking is a little bit tricky but it is not impossible to find. SO if you get a chance do go there and have a look around, but be careful with the pricing of the items!

Nina M: Big Flea Market. When we visited there wasnt full of dealers. In spite of this the offer was interesting and it is worth going. There is a plenty of vintage furniture, pircelain, hours... You can bargain for the price.

Massimo Morello: Fantastic market that ranges between ancient and modern. Full of old Communist memorabilia, vinyls, record players, rare cameras, photos and postcards in black and white directly from the 30s and 40s. All balanced by the presence of many artisans of necklaces and bracelets and various stones, and finally lots of objects of the latest TV series and movies. One aspect that struck me is that in many stands you can also pay by credit card. A corner of paradise for collectors!

Inari Aikio: Interesting crafts for sale, not a fleamarket.Small courtyard filled with sellers and bars, cafes and restaurants. Good place to buy handmade gifts, some antique and vintage things among the nicknacks.

Rianda Rizza: The market was packed with people. Most sellers can speak English, enough to negotiate price and ask general questions about the product. Some items are locally made some are imported cheap stuff. Be smart, know what you want.

Tayana Passos Rosa: Great flea market, a bit far from the city center, but easy to reach. Very nice experience if you like scavenging for interesting finds. A lot of historical pieces cam he found.
Benedetto Gregorio: A big mix of everything, you can find many interesting things or items.
Hafner Gabriella: The Budaörsi piac is comparable to the Portobello and the Wembley Stadium weekend fleamarkets in London. New merchandise, used junk, vintage collectibles, mid-category antiques. Typical fleamarket athmosphere. Sundays are usually very crowded, especially in splendid weather. You are obliged to haggle. 😁
ליהוא זיסברג: A huge, seemingly never ending flea market, located in the outskirts of Buda. Sunday is best but also the busiest day to visit. Find anything from old keys, work tools, to antique furniture, silverware and watches. Very nice for fans of the genre.

Mandy Veres: I have been attending this market over 40 years!!! True that it has changed a lot… but still this is the place to find the most fresh local ingredients! You can also find extravagant colors like yellow beetroots purple carrots and all these funny veggies. You can surprise ur guests with a plate made if these😉
Good Earth: Good market close to Szell Kallman Ter. You can buy everything here - vegetables, meats, spices and have food/drink. Bathrooms are on every floor and clean.
SEEMA: The produce is fresh and the stalls have different prices for the same product. Toilet is on the topmost floor after the elevator around the middle of the whole floor. There is a pharmacy on the second floor near langos shop. It has staff who can advice you very well.
Levente Littvay (Levi): Best market in Budapest for quality products directly from farmers with a great ham and great cheese shop. Decent fish options as well. A great steak place down stairs.

It’s a small market but you can find anything you want : spices, meat, cheese, pastries, veggies etc.. they also offer some breakfast and some typical goulash on bread. My husband loved it. The place is very atypical and original. I removed a star because of the very dirty toilets..

Ard Ooms: From a Dutch point of view, very cool to see this type of (for me) old fashioned market. Maybe less touristic than the big one in the city center, but fun to visit
Mike: I love this market! Fresh local food at good prices. It is always good to support local farmers. I prefer the old building. I think in the new building it is not all local food. Best to go early before things sell out.

Susan Mansfield: If you want great langos get it at Lehel Market! It is the best! Of course there is excellent produce and meat and deli counters too. Lots of bakeries and even a post office and health food store. Upstairs their is a little second hand shop where you can find lots of cute items!
Samsunshine Levy: Great locals market. Fruit and vegetables excellent selection, also cheese and meat. Did not like the bread/pastry, and upstairs restaurants are Vietnamese or fried chicken; no good Hungarian restaurant 😔. Langos centRum is great!
Paul Gazso: This is my favourite market in Budapest. Not tourist oriented, so you’re not paying tourist prices. Many options for fruits and vegetables, meats, pickled vegetables and sauerkraut. Love the sauerkraut here. Many sellers and very fresh selection. English is not widely spoken though you can get by on English alone. Highly recommend. Good shops on second level as well for dry goods.
Peter Verhas: A food market, real east european atmosphere, may be a bit balkan, but modern, already in Budapest, so moderately safe, food is ok, prices are Hungarian cheep. Sometimes pickpockets, take care, but nothing violent. Picture shows the feeling in front of the market.
Rustam Rustamov: One of the most popular markets in Budapest. It consists of 2 storey. On ground floor you can find veggies, fruits and meats. Clothes on the 1st floor. Probably best prices and variaty for veggies, fruits and meat. Better to visit Fri-Sat 8-9am to avoid the ques. Does not work on Sun.
Erica Miller: Great local shopping experience! You can get all the food you need here for a decent price.
