Belvárosi Disznótoros - Károlyi utca: what do users think?

Yulia Ratnasari: As an Asian having hyper palatable tongue, this restaurant was satisfying and flavorful! Very umami (to note, in a good way, not in a bad way) So far, these were one of the best dishes I eat throughput my 2 years stay in Europe. I have visited 37 cities so far and subjectively, this was the most remarkable. I tried the sausage, pasta layer stuffed with beef and potato, and fish wrapped with bacon. Other reviews complaining about standing eating style — I dont mind with that. This place is to a eat and go. Keep in mind that their guests are mostly Hungarians, most of them eating here for quick meals. No toilet, no english, and the server aren’t friendly enough to translate things for you. Translate everything yourself before going to the counter, don’t let people waiting. Summing up, I really appreciate the meals. Thank you so much it’s beautiful.

Alicia Wan: Stand and eat eatery. They have a good selection of meat. Potato chips not so crispy. Ordered mangalica pork, lime and ginger chicken, sausage and some sides. Service is reasonably quick, service staff able to speak English.

Scot Wanders: Was my first time at a vegan restaurant, was always hesitant about a vegan restaurant but I was pleasantly surprised ! It was really good and really filling ! I had the goulash and the pasta version dinner. Was very happy with my dishes !

Márton G: The place only has standing tables, so not really available for anyone with a standing disability, but the food is amazing. Would certainly recommend, I know I will be back!Food: 5/5 | Service: 4/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Johnyboi: Incredible. The best sausage I’ve ever eaten and I live in Germany, that says something. The regular paprika sausage was amazing. The staff wasn’t that friendly but the taste makes up for it. The potato „chips“ were good and fresh. Very oily though. Good location and they take cards. Very local place even though there are a lot of tourists.

Shweta E.S: Great service and very good food at great price.Mangalica is worth the try.Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 4/5 …More

Travel Far, Eat Local: Rudest people I’ve ever met in my travels. They hate tourists. Blood sausage is decent, but there are like 80 other butchers in Budapest. Come here if you like, but expect very rude and arrogant people behind the counter.

Şükrü Orçun Taş: There may not be a better price/performance restaurant in Budapest! The foods are delicious and the prices are very reasonable. We will definitely go there again!

Trófea Grill Étterem Király utca: what do users think?

Anastasia Kurenkova: We were here for the second time, the best place for lunch. Format - smorgasbord, entrance costs €32 on weekends and €28 on weekdays. Huge variety of dishes, several kinds of meat that are cooked on the grill, a large selection of seafood. Waiters actively offer alcoholic beverages and soft drinks, quickly clean dishes from the table. Completely justify the cost, I recommend.

Saeed Nino: It was one of the best buffés I have ever been to. Everything was included the food, the drinks and there were many Kinds of sweets. The staff was friendly and very helpful.

Queenie Quynh Nguyen: The best buffet in town if you come as group. Price range is very good to compare with what offer. Quality of food and drink are good. Environment is amazing. Staff are very pro.

Dariusz Tetlak: This is the place where you need to go! Eat and drink how much you like just for 20€ in mid week, absolute bargain. Food amazing!!! from buffet where you can find cold meat, smoked fishes, salads to hot buffet with all hungarian classics and grill where they cook all selections of meat and fish and seafood what you like. Definitely will comeback for more on next holiday in Budapest.

Michael Smiddy: No idea if this is a traditional breakfast but I enjoyed it as a sort of deconstructed, tasty sausage bun

Mariana El Khoury: A Hungarian take on the classic hot dog. Delicious cone-shaped bun filled with with beef or pork sausages, and your choice of onions, sauerkraut, bacon or other condiments to choose from. Very tasty street food meal located on the second floor of the Central Market.

Paolo Chiabrera: Nice street food to grab on a cold winter is day.

Stefanie Geiger: Very good sausages and french fries!

Ivan Basov: Rude staff. Pictures and reality too far small hot dog.3 times less than pictureAvoid the place

pete: Rude staff, low quality food and small portions (thankfully)

arthur foulon: Located on the second floor of Les Halles de Budapest, we loved eating this sausage fast food!! I recommend

Nika: During a morning spent in the central market of Budapest we got hungry and inside we found this stall. We snacked on these sausage rolls on the go. There is a choice of how many sausages and whether from beef or pork

Spencer Zhao: The duck breast is terrific, so yummy and juicy. The dessert recommended by the waiter is also super nice. Suggest to make a reservation by phone call in advance, the owner speaks perfect English. The service is super friendly and the interior decorations are in good taste. After dinner, you can enjoy the fabulous view of the Hungarian Parliamentary-building outside the restaurant. The best experience ever in Hungary 🇭🇺

Gabrielle Chen: We heard that this restaurant is specialized in duck dishes so we came here, and it doesn’t disappoint us! Their duck dishes are absolutely amazing, I was very happy with what I ordered: Wild duck leg stuffed with plums and plum sauce, it was so satisfying. The live music was a great plus as well which was the cherry on top. Definitely a MUST TRY in Budapest, don’t miss it!

Wayne Mowery: Absolutely fantastic dinner! Probably the best I’ll have over my 7 days in Budapest. Where to begin? The waitress was extremely caring, providing thoughtful suggestions to the menu that added to the experience. I ordered the chateaubriand steak and it was cooked perfectly (photos for proof!) The ambience was heavenly…as if we were sitting in an old European living room with a superb violinist and pianist playing intimately for the dining room. I’m honestly surprised this restaurant doesn’t have a waiting list and demand reservations weeks in advance. Highly recommend!

Greg H: Was looking to have good, authentic Hungarian food and found this place. I was expecting the food to be good and it not disappoint as it was amazing food and service. We had the venison steak and a hunter’s stew, both were excellent. The fish stew as an appetizer, the wine and the dessert were phenomenal as well. I’m honestly amazed this place was not packed even though we went on a Tuesday night as the food was excellent and the waiter was super friendly and helpful with someone not familiar with Hungarian cuisine. He was very patient with my many touristy questions for him as well. I will absolutely be back whenever I return to Budapest! Definitely a hidden gem in Budapest!

Alex Hunter: Fantastic restaurant with a warm, cozy atmosphere. The music and service was incredible. If you are in Budapest it is well worth coming ! The crepe for dessert was so good.

Sandi A: Lovely meal! Had one of the fish dishes! Great service! Had a live pianist and violin player too! They were playing gypsy music and several classics! Would highly recommend! Great atmosphere!

Simonpietro Cecchini: One of the best places in Budapest if you love the duck meat: you will find a huge selection of different duck meat types perfectly cooked. The stuffed duck breast is a must. The location is very relaxing and the service very professional.

Retró Lángos Budapest: what do users think?

Travelbug: Highly recommend this place! Stopped by for a quick lunch and glad we did it. The Greek salad was above my expectation that’s for sure as I didn’t expect such a reasonably priced salad would have such a humongous piece of delicious feta cheese ( love how it’s not super salty like most of the store-bought ones) and the ingredient were very fresh! The Hungarian fried dough were also taste!

Melanie Bertoli: Went mid day and there wasn’t a line. We got the goat cheese and the classic with fried onion. The goat cheese was very fresh with the scallions. It did have a little too much sour cream which made it harder to eat but was still delicious. The fried onion was so good definitely recommend it.

Celine Zhang Zhu: We had langos for dinner and they were. great. It tastes as the Spanish churros but with different salty toppings. At the end, it will be a bit greasy and heavy for some people because they are fried and big. However, you should at least try them. The service is fast and they bring it to you at the table. Also, the price is very reasonable. The menu has several variety of langos to choose (also gluten free, or vegan, or vegetarian). We had the vegetarian, the arugula and the goat cheese. Note: there are two "sizes" of menu. The small size is gluten free and the larger menu is the normal one.

Eli: Delicious! My first Langos in maybe 15 years. Absolutely amazing! Freshly made with amazing toppings. Vegetarian (and even vegan) friendly options. Nice modern atmosphere, friendly service. Our only regret is that we didn’t have time for another visit!

Anthony Gunawan: Amazing vibe, amazing foods! Local cuisine, fried dough with various toppings. Tried the all meat and chicken tsatsiki, the sour cream was 👌👌👌 nice service too! Beer was pretty decent amount of price. Pancake was standard to be honest; it has similar flavor like crepes or dutch pancake. However, the lagos definitely 10/10

Petko Seymenarov: I highly recommend this place! It’s a fast food type of a restaurant that offers the traditional Hungarian langos. You can choose many toppings and flavors but the dough base is the same. Keep in mind it’s a big portion so hopefully you are hungry :)

Isaiah Tan: Ordered the four-cheese, rustic and hungarian langos. All were great! The bases were all fundamentally the same, with just slightly different toppings. Mostly savoury taste to match with the sweetness beneath. 3 was enough to feed 3 of us, and we each paid under 10 Euros, which was very affordable. Queue may be long, but service is very fast after you order. A must-try :)

Local Guide 89: My lord, could there be a more delicious food on this planet? I implore you to try this piece of heaven. Start with the Hungarian (sour cream, cheese, bacon, and onion), but honestly, no choice is the wrong choice. The service was fast and the food is very reasonably priced. I will definitely be returning here to try the stuffed langos. Our tour guide, who is from Budapest, highly recommends this establishment. The langos is fried up right after you order it and comes out hot, with the toppings cool. As I said, a piece of heaven on Earth. If there is a long line, wait in it, you will not be disappointed.

Menza Étterem és Kávéház: what do users think?

Ajeesh-Musthafa: Good place to try out authentic Hungarian food. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. better yo reserve your seats or might take time to get seats in peak time. Almost all the dishes we tried was tasty. Goulash, meat stew, stuffed cabbage etc all are mouth watering. The starters are good too. So are the deserts

Itay Stein: One of my favorite restaurants in Budapest. The menu is stacked and generally all dishes are good, with noticeable highlights like the Hungarian stew, goulash, and especially the roasted duck on risotto! The place also serves awesome drinks. Very reasonable prices, restaurant is classy and well-designed, and the service were very friendly. Highly recommended.

sara gaeini: Totally recommended 😎 We ordered some cocktails first, which was obviously made there and not ready ones. They tasted great and unique. Then for starters we tried goulash and I can confirm that we all love it 😍 It is tasty and really different taste. For main dish we tried four different ones and each of them was great. Well cooked meats, freshly salad and bread. I will go back for sure.

Michaela Lukáčová: Restaurant is located at quiet street and is a perfect place to have a lunch. You won’t wait for your meal for too long which is great if you are looking for high quality dish really fast. Hamburger was delicious. Meet perfectly seasoned, really good combination with gorgonzola cheese. I appreciated mayo and ketchup with fries. Soup was delicious. I also ordered beef stew. Almost everything was good apart from some pieces of meat that were really tough and chewy, it really ruined the experience. Hence only four stars.

Tsvetina Ilieva: This is an amazing restaurant with great atmosphere, polite staff and very delicious food! It was always full (we were staying in the building next door) and I understand why! We ate there 3 times, because we wanted to try traditional Hungarian food and we absolutely loved it! Prices are reasonable. Just try the garlic cream soup 😍

Ahmad Gilani: Great food and service! Everything was delicious including dessert. The staff were attentive and friendly. I got the roastbeef and it was delicious maybe a bit chewy but still great. The soup and liver dishes were also fantastic. Portions are big also. Could definitely come again if I pass by!

Filipa Castro: Amazing food and cool vibe inside. The prices are fair. It was the best restaurant I’ve been to in Budapest. We had goulash as a starter, the duck with mushroom risotto and the stew with spatzle, the chocolate cake and the floating island and everything was absolutely delicious. If I’m back to Budapest I’ll definitely come back to this one and strongly recommend it to friends. You should book a table in advance and, even though the booking said we had only one hour, we stayed for two with no problem.

Ying WANG: We came here twice during our stay. Garlic soup is a must try but very filling. Beef soup with dumplings is good as well. Schnitzel is amazing (thin and crispy) and so pan seared liver is also good. Beef stew is okay and I find the portion quite large in general.Food: 5/5 | Service: 4/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Lunch Restaurant Fakanal: what do users think?

A J: We stopped off at Fakanal whilst we were in the Market Hall. Their food was good for the price. The Hungarian taster board was a nice introduction to the cuisine. I enjoyed the stuffed cabbage also. As for price, I think this restaurant is reasonably priced for where it is and what you get. There was also live music whilst we were eating which gave a nice touch.

Rachel Writes: Came here as a tourist after seeing food bloggers recommend it and I was pleasantly surprised by the food. Absolutely loved it, and gave me a good introduction to Hungarian food. The portions are huge as well. Apart from that, the restaurant atmosphere was great too with the live music!

Hani Mansour: The place is great and well designed. The food is tasty and the portions are huge as well. The prices are higher than we expected. Recommended to eat in this place to try the Hungarian traditional food.

vaibhav kumar gupta: The fried chicken is fine, but the pasta is really bland and tastes like raw wet flour. Can be eaten only with stew maybe. Hardly any options for someone who doesn’t eat pork. They have a queue system in which you pick a plate and ask for whatever you need from the counter. Then u take ur full plate to the cashier who bills it, but most tourists get confused on this flow.

Ropl: In my extremely limited knowledge of Hungarian cuisine, this place in the Central Market upstairs was good enough to satisfy my curiosity. Had a goulash soup and small Borsordi draft beer all came to a cheap 2380 forints, about $6 US. Perfect for me as I just had lunch not long ago. It was good and had a slight kick, good enough to counter the chills outside. Credit card accepted.

Leut Bounpaseuth: This canteen is situated at the first floor of the market. No order at table, you have to get your food and pay before sitting on table. I took the goulash and sausage. The soup is very delicious. The sausage and the spicy paprika sauce is good but too salty for me.

Stefan Popescu: Canteen type of restaurant serving traditional hungarian dishes. We tried the hungarian sausage & cabbage, and a Goulash stew; both tasty. It was our first stop for food in Budapest. After eating in many other restaurants, it’s safe to say that Fakanal Etterem is overpriced.

Hungarikum Bisztró: what do users think?

Arie Rozichner: Good place for first time tourists (as ourselves) to get a taste of Hungarian food. Have good menu with most known Hungarian dishes. The service is good, waiters command several languages, clean. Food quality is good. Prices are of a touristic place.

Joseph Barsby: Visited here on holiday and was blown away. Staff were fantastic, went above and beyond even going as far as to give us recommendations of places to visit. Food was incredible, had the goulash, duck with braised cabbage, and beef tenderloin. All very fairly priced (surprisingly cheap for what it was!!) had live music on from lovely Yguri which really set the atmosphere. Cannot recommend enough

SANGMIN CHO: All ordered menus(Set menu, sour cabbage roll) were all good. Bread, paprika sauce, last digestive liquor were nice too. Servers are always welcoming guests with smile. 15% of service fee are included but they were deserved.

Rosenstein Vendéglő: what do users think?

Marta Pisani: Amazing? YES In line with expectation? EVEN BETTER The place is not really in a central area, so it forces you to explore a different area of Budapest and I would say it was worth the walk. As soon as we went in the welcoming was very warm and great. Almost all the waiters are young, very attentive and responsive. They all speak perfect English so no communicational problem either. We also asked our main waiter the story if a dish and he gladly answered. We got wine, we were satisfied with that as well. Let they tempt you with the daily offer, it’s exquisite, we were there on a Friday and the offer was Cholent (second pic), a dish I never tried before, that left me really impressed. Super recommended also the game meat egregiously cooked, it was totally melting in our mouths. Of course tho, a special place in our heart is for desserts😊 I was already full, but couldn’t say no… WORTH THE LONG WALK HOME. I’ll definitely be back

Ms Ginger: Busy restaurant serving an extensive range of Hungarian specialties (meat, fish, game, vegetarian) to a mixed clientele of locals and tourists. Satisfactory wine menu with many by the glass options. The bubbles and white wine sere not served cold enough. We were first turned down at the door (around 13 on a Friday) but then taken in after waiting for a few minutes at the door. Good service although not very fast. Delicious food. Civil atmosphere. Highly recommended.

laezio lenza: The best restaurant we’ve been in Budapest! The food comes fast and it’s delicious! The bone marrow is to die for. We also tried two more meat dishes that were unbelievable good.

Zio On-The-Go: The best Restaurant in Budapest. They have a huge menu with lots of options but somehow they maintain extremely high quality and taste. The local beer they make is sensational and the service is so good. Hands down the best restaurant we’ve been in Budapest.

asj: This place was so good and way better than the michelin rated Borkonya. Our server was super nice and helpful in understanding the menu. I got the scallop special, my husband got the chicken supreme with dumplings, bone marrow and vegetable pickles. It was all so good! Lemonade was yummy too

Екатерина Ермишина: A place where you can try Hungarian Jewish food. It is pretty nice and an interesting change from local cuisine. Also make sure to try a flodni (a local Jewish dessert if you enjoy new flavours).

Miles Macdonald: Hidden away, I would never have accidentally come across this restaurant were it not for the recommendation in "Lonely Planet" guide, and it certainly lives upto that recommendation. Without a doubt this earns the description of "Haute-Cuisine", they really care about the food here, and service is excellent. I believe the owner is also the Chef.

Mary S: The most amazing and tastier food I have ever had in my life! You must come here for sure!!!Goulash soup only 1800ft and is the best I had till now. Take chicken paprikash!! Best food ever! Great service! Fast and polite!!

Lecso Hungarian Fast Food: what do users think?

Aneta Melicharová: To be honest, this restaurant is one of few restaurants which offer food for fair price. Until 7 pm it works as a bistro, after 7 pm as a restaurant. I felt very comfortable there, the staff was very friendly. But I must say, that the classic burger I ordered was a bit burnt on the bun (as you can see on the photo), and you could taste it, co that was a pity.

Gary Tang: Perfect place to experience authentic Hungarian food. The owner was very friendly and took the time to explain the menu. The staff was very professional and service was tip-top. A must visit restaurant for any visitors to Budapest. Enjoy!Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Razieh Mousavi: The food was not fresh and not even edible. Compared to price, you can definitely find the better tasty food in Budapest. Don’t waste your money there. The pictures from the restaurant is totally different what We saw.

James G: Legit Hungarian cuisine in a gyors kaja (aka fast food) setting..and they serve Borsodi Hungarian beer! Delicious, fast and affordable. Walking distance from Nyugati palyaudvar (and my hotel). Will be my one of my mainstays here in Budapest.

G.K Teoh: The Hungary local foods, it taste good and yummy especially the deer meat! It is superb yummy. The price charge with reasonable and very friendly and excellent services!

İpek Barçin: The atmosphere was pretty calm. The service was very caring and good. Gulash was tasty but the fish soup was average.

Botond Feczkó: Best Hungarian dishes in Budapest in my opinion. Kind service, fast delivery, reasonable prices, everything is professional. Highly recommended.

Gettó Gulyás: what do users think?

Alma B: I heard a lot about this restaurant and it didn’t disappoint! Homey yet chic place with great Hungarian food inside the beautiful Jewish quarter. Elevated classic Hungarian dishes with a modern touch and just absolutely delicious. Hearty portions for a moderate price. We were extremely lucky to get a table, so make sure to book one in advance! (The restaurant is often fully booked)

Marta Pisani: Recommended by some Hungarian friends, it didn’t let me down at all! The waiter was very caring and quick in responding to our needs. He explained dishes and gave suggestions depending on our tastes. I would say that one of their strengths are the desserts! One better than the others, we tried 3 of them and they were all amazing. The lamb as well was perfectly cooked and left us speechless. Highly recommended!

Mauricio Azevedo: Delicious food! The place is comfortable, the food is great and the staff are nice and quick. Location is easy to find. I suggest reserving a spot in advance. Very good Hungarian food, at good price. 3 people ate 3 main courses, 1 appetizer, 3 beers and 1 bottle of water for 60€.

Richárd Schrettner: Really tasty, authentic Hungarian food. The bone marrow and the goulash soup are legend. Our food came pretty quick despite a fully booked restaurant so a reservation is definitely recommended. Waiters are super nice. In the stew the meat was not perfectly cooked and we let the staff know. They canceled the dish from our bill, what is more, we received duck fat from the house. Top notch customer service!!!

Shalin Dewan: Came here for lunch. Didn’t need a reservation just walked in. Ordered bone marrow to start which was good. With a lot of garlic. The mains we ordered the veal stew. This was nice and tender. The side of cheese thing wrapped in bacon was also good. Would have been much better if the food was hot. It came out lukewarm. The beef stew was not as good as the veal. The meat dry. And the side was a bit bland. Service and vibe and interior were fine. But can do more with the food I think.

Anna C: I enjoyed my time in this popular place. I was lucky to get a place without waiting (one of the last ones at the bar) and I was very well taken care of by the staff. The waitress was very polite and recommend me a good wine for my lamb paprikash. The food was mild but tasty. Portion big enough for my taste. Atmosphere was relax despite the full place.

Martin Cerman: Absolutely delicious classic Hungarian food in the city. The meat in the goulash and paprikas was very tender and soft, and the taste of both main dishes was incredible. They also have Czech Pilsner beer, which fits perfectly with the cuisine. We had to wait to be seated though, so a reservation is definitely recommended mainly during dinner time. Definitely worth visiting.

Alice Bruschi: We tried this cozy restaurant because we heard the goulasch was amazing and it did not disappoint us! We ended up coming back a second time during out stay here in Budapest. We are four friends and both times we came here we ordered a decent quantity of food for a very moderate price (we spent 25€ in 4 people). Loved the location and the staff was very friendly and attentive to our needs. Thank you for making our trip special 💗

Andrea Naletto: Beautiful place to try local dishes. A few vegetarian options available including a potato soup, a stuffed bell peppers dish (photo) and a warm beetroot salad with Greece cheese (photo). Nice environment and great service. It gets crowded at lunchtime.

Babka Budapest: what do users think?

Idan Carmi: First time I’ve been here in half a decade. The kitchen was definitely revamped as the food was significantly improved! Service was kind and attentive. The atmosphere of the place is very comfortable and “homelike”. The food itself was well salted and spiced, and lemonade was well made. The place is bustling and with good reason! Looking forward to my next meal there.

Kevin Rosenman: The cold dishes (Jewish egg and tartar) is a 6/10. The presentation was nice but the taste was not outstanding. The main dishes (meat balls / pulled chicken) are definitely a 10/10 also the house wine and the espresso is super good !

Matthieu: Randomly came here with my friend. Great oriental food, very fresh and tasteful. Cocktails and coffee were also fantastic. Friendly staff. I will definitely come back.

Natascha: The food sizes where extremely small for the extremely high prices. The chips were stale and so was the bread. While halfway through our meal, we were told we would have to leave within 15 minutes, because they forgot to tell us that the table was booked for a reservation. The waiter was rushing us from the minute we came, getting annoyed that we didn’t chose our food and drinks after barley sitting down. The star is for the cute dog that was there.

Phoebe Tran: Great food, excellent service. They have very good crispy meatballs and chicken breast. The size is bigger than we thought so pls consider not to order too much (like us). Highly recommend.

Ukrainian courtyard: what do users think?

Pedro Minnassian: The food is good. Original dishes and flavourful. If you want to eat good food from another country is a good place. The waitress was not so kind but its ok. Prices are reasonable. Tip for the kitchen, pay attention at the side dishes, like the cabbage at the duck need more flavor and more process to respect. Vegetarian options: Simple but good. Varenykes and potato pancakes.

Asya Kosachova: I am surprised this place has such a nice rating. Kyiv chicken was ok, but everything else was bad. Service was not good either: not attentive, brought our food at separate times(this was the most ridiculous part), we also had to ask for the first plates to be taken away so we could have space at the table. The amount of salad on my plate was ridiculous, as if it was a leftover from someone’s plate. There was no dressing available for it on the table. Generally I DON’T recommend you this place.

Julia Tovt: I like this restaurant. Always back here to eat delicious Ukrainians cuisine. I eat salad and Kyiv chicken dish. You must try Kyiv chicken) And very tasty soup Borsch❤️It’s also must have to try if you want to know something about Ukraine.

Gábor Süveges: A fairly priced restaurant located in Ráday utca offering mainly traditional Ukrainian dishes. I tried the solyanka as starter followed by varenyky with cabbage. The food was delicious. They have a small selection on Ukrainian wines on their wine list. The only reason why this experience was not worth 5 stars was the lack of effort from the staff. They were not engaging at all, after we finished our dinner they did not offer us to have a look at the menu again for some dessert. This is something the restaurant should focus on improving. Other than this, recommended for the food.

Mikhail: I’ve been in the same restaurant which is on the Károly körút 26 street in Budapest. Unfortunately, I cannot find it on the Google Maps. But the food was delicious. It’s a real Ukrainian meal, with the real taste of traditional Ukrainian food. Thank you so much for this gastronomic pleasure!🇺🇦❤️

Gaetano Cottonaro: Absolutely suggested! Portions were really big and the quality of the food was nice!!! I can’t wait to go back and try some other dish from the restaurant. Prices are low, specially for the location.👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Damiano Marin Rolex Tips: Very typical ucranian restaurant. Dishes are very well done and waiters are very kind. Food was made very good and the prices are fair 😊 reccomended

Stand Étterem: what do users think?

Markus Schmidt: Best restaurant in town and compared to other Michelin stars underrated. Have been to two and three stars across Europe and don’t understand that here we looking at one star only. Great food, innovative dishes, super friendly and attentive team. Will be back again and again :) whenever I am in Budapest.

Malte Holm: Having only one night in Budapest, we really had to choose from such a variety of one star Michelin restaurants. We were absolutely thrilled we picked Stand! Service is impeccable from the second you walk in the door and food is out of this world, with the best in local produce and creativity in the servings. Having been to many top restaurants in the world, this one stands out as one of the absolute best. Highly recommended and we’ll surely be back again in the future!

Matan Cohen: Stand is freaking OUTSTANDING! If you can, please make yourself a favor and go dine there! We were a couple that came to Budapest for a birthday and found out that there is a Michelin star restaurant 3 minutes walk from our hotel. We’ve found out a unique restaurant with damn spectacular food and an amazing staff! I believe the photos can deliver the experience!

Leslie Heindel: This is a next level meal. From the service, to wine pairings, down to the tiniest of details- Stand didn’t miss a beat. I would 10/10 recommended booking this place. Get in now before people realize how insanely good it is. You’ll never be able to get a reservation again. ❤️

Alex Z: WOW! I am an absolute foodie and have been in many fine dining restaurants across the globe. Stand was an exceptional experience from start to end, and I am sure it is little time till there will be a second Michelin star. A few highlights: 1) Best-in-class staff, very attentive, know menu and ingredients inside-out, put customer needs first, 2) A menu that combines local Hungarian specialities with international/French touch, 3) Decorated to perfection, from amuse-bouche to petite fours, 4) just delicious food with a lot of surprising combinations — a true delight for a foodie. Posting a few picture, but they can unfortunately not capture the taste.

Regős Vendéglő: what do users think?

Roberto Sardi (greengofly75): Typical Hungarian cuisine in a warm and friendly environment. The carp soup was delicious as well as the other fish dish. Very good wine at a good price for such a central tavern house. Nice and smiling staff too, 5 stars.Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Salsiccia Ungherese, Pollo Alla Paprika Con Gnocchetti Bianchi, Goulash Ungherese …More

Steve Briggs: Excellent meal and great value. Deer stew with croquettes, pork stuffed with sausage with potatoes and red cabbage. Nice cellar like setting. We have been here several times and never disappointed. Huge thanks to the owners and staff.Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 4/5 …More

elvira pons (Mediterranean Spice): Tasty food, underground restaurant. I had deer with wild sauce and was delicious. I want to come back to taste more things. Great value for money. I definitely recommend this place if you come to Budapest!

Ann Rava: My husband and I have enjoyed this lovely restaurant in Budapest. The owner and the waiters are friendly. If you like to try traditional Hungarian food then this is a must visit. Jane Goodall even visited this place once and enjoyed the food.

Inna: Just loved this place! We spent 4 days in Budapest. And here we found the most delicious goulash at the most pleasant price :) The atmosphere is super cozy and the service is great, the waiters speak excellent English. I will definitely come back here again and again! But keep in mind that it is better to reserve tables in this restaurant in advance, due to high demand.

Jesse M: Very enjoyable meal in a great space. Be sure you have time to spend here as the dishes are authentic and take some time to prepare. Our waiter made some great recommendations when asked and we enjoyed appetizers, mains, and dessert.

Georgiana Baietilor: Not a great experience. The staff was nice but the food didn’t meet our expectations. We ordered sone traditional dishes. Chicken stew with traditional pasta had almost no taste and beef stew was very salty and pasta had a strange sour smell. The desserts were almost tasteless too, seemed bought from supermarket and served on a plate. The prices are lower compared to other traditional restaurants but still overrated for the dishes they served us.

V O: The food was interesting with deer on the menu. The beef was tasty. Quite an extensive menu. The fish soup was slightly too fishy for my liking, but then to each his/her own palate. Quirky cosy basement restaurant with interesting decor. Food takes slightly lng to be served but then it is a very busy restaurant.

Mina Eskandari: Wow such a nice and cozy restaurant. I had the best and delicious Goulash here. Very hospitable hosts and delicious food. With very reasonable price. Highly recommend it while you are in Budapest.
