We had 90 minutes massages and everything was bad the room was small and looks bad, you could hear every little noise from outside.The massage itself was awful - the movements were clumsy and not sensitive at all. At times way too strong and other way too weak. It took me a few days until I felt better after this massage. ! Very very not recommended

Wandering Traveler: I had been wanting to get a massage here from day one of arriving in Budapest, but they were quite busy and I ended up heading somewhere else instead. I see why now the scheduling book is so full! The receptionist speaks great English and can communicate all of the massage options clearly. While the massage here is high for Budapest pricing, and I think more accessible to tourist dollars than your average local, I think the work the therapists offer backs up their price point. I was only able to get a 60 minute session but I walked away feeling much more relaxed than I have from another cheaper chain I won’t mention not too far from this location. My therapist really focused on tight points in my shoulder and back and was able to crack me comfortably with ease. The staff they hire here are clearly quite professionals. The price point makes it a little out of range to return frequently, but I would definitely consider returning once or twice per trip to treat yourself. The facilities are also quite a bit nicer than some of the cheaper places, you are greeted with a welcoming tea and offered some water upon departure (standard at most places) but you’re also given a small bit of fruit before leaving which is a nice touch. I really enjoyed my massage here despite the higher price point, I did not regret booking a session here at all. I got the traditional Thai massage, it was just the right amount of pressure and a great stretch. Thank you!

Vitri Vit: I’ve been to some massage places in Budapest and I’m so glad I found this one. They don’t “only touch” you but they really massage you properly. I had it with Netti, she’s amazing. I like strong massage and she did the job very good on me. I had very good sleep in the night after. They have the little room which they separate the guest with the other customer so you have your own privacy. The place is clean, bathroom/toilet clean and tidy. The receptionist speak English very well and friendly. They give us special tea and fruit after the massage as a compliment which general to most places but still good point. Sorry I forgot to take the room picture but it’s exactly like in their website. I definitely will come back again.

Shay Nessa: Really glad I went with Erawan on my last day in Budapest, I was late but they were patient, professional staff and clean facilities. Nice touch with tea and fruits before/after the massage. I had the Thai Deep tissue and as requested was strong and deep, my body was stretched and cracked in places I didn’t even know was possible! Nice feeling of release from the stiffness of working a desk job, felt ready for my flight back home. Overall good experience, and most importantly great massage.

Avi Youabian: A very clean and upscale massage parlor, highly recommend to me by several locals. This is the best spot in Budapest and they’re always busy so try and book in advance. You can text them via What’s App. My favorite therapist was a lady named Rainy. Incredibly gifted and will target areas on your body if you just ask. Super kind and experienced. One important thing to note, and this applies to most businesses in Budapest. When you’re tipping with a card you’re therapist sees a smaller portion of the tip. Be sure to tip them in cash as they rely on it.

Matt Ingalls: For Christmas Eve we did a couples massage. I did the Thai massage with oil and she did the traditional Thai massage. They greeted us with fresh tea before stepping into the couples room. I have had several regular massages in the past, very few Thai massages and now I don’t think I’ll ever go back to regular massages again. 90 minute massage was perfect. It’s hard to explain how i felt coming out of there but it’s nothing short of amazing. After the massage they had fresh fruit and hot herbal tea for us in the lobby. 10/10 recommend!

AdAdventure: My partner and myself enjoy having a massage whilst on holiday, we found. Erawan on google and it just so happened to be the closest to our hotel. On entering we were greeted warmly and decided on our massages. My girlfriend opted for the 30 foot massage and I opted for the full body thai deep tissue. My girlfriend loved her foot massage and I decdied to extend my massage to the 60min as it was so good. I need a deep massage and the lady didn’t disappoint. After you are given some blue tea and some fruit which is a really nice touch. Many thanks to all the team, should we ever visit Budapest again we’ll certainly be back! 😊

Sara Atkinson: My husband and I came yesterday for an oil massage, and it was so good we decided to book a Traditional Thai Massage today. It was LIFE CHANGING! We both walked out feeling so refreshed and so much lighter. They really work on your knots. My masseuse Jida was amazing. The rooms are very clean, and the pajamas we were given for the Thai massage were obviously freshly washed and smelt nice. When you have finished, they serve you tea and fruits which is a really nice touch. Gives you a few minutes to process how good the massage was haha. If we lived in Budapest we would be here weekly!

Miruna-Elena Mihalcea: Amazing experience! You can make a reservation on the phone, the girl which answered spoke very good English. At the place, were served tea prior to the massage. The staff at the front desk was very polite and friendly. We were presented many scents of oils to choose from for the massage. We did the 1h Anti Stress massage (around 18900 HUF/person) and it was amazing, very relaxing. Loved the stretching at the end. I would definitely recommend this one if you never had a massage. During the massage, the atmosphere is very calming, the light is dimmed and there are relaxing sounds so you can nap a bit if you feel like. The masseuse had an easy hand, but you could feel the massage. The room was also very clean. After the massage, we got fruits (watermelon) and water to drink. You can pay by either cash or card. I strongly recommend this place and would definitely come again when in Budapest.

Ashley Honeycutt: In a city full of Thai-style massage I was happy to find Flora who does Swedish massage. My experience was great. Flora is kind and has a very clean, peaceful studio. The massage was great and helped my tense muscles immensely. Recommended!

Mike Ben: 5 out of 5 stars for this massage therapist. Flora is a very kind and gracious host. I have had some issues with tension headaches and I had immediate relief after a 60-minute session with Flora. I will be setting a couple more appointments with her soon to continue draining the stress from my neck, shoulders & back as I am here for two months. I definitely would recommend this business to anyone! WhatsApp seems the best way to get in touch with Flora but I first initiated contact by email and that was easy too. I am from the USA and I found this to be very accessible even when I am not so good at reading addresses here. Please note the office space is located on the 2nd floor in a residential building, so don’t look for any big signs or giant glass pane windows from the street outside.

I immediately feel my tensed muscles being relaxed, after a massage I felt really wonderful, like I was floating on air. Whynottravel: I booked for aromatherapy massage 1 hour in the afternoon. Arriving 10 minutes earlier, I was greeted by lovely receptionist. Everything is perfect. Location is just 5 min walk from the tram 4/6. I picked Lavender oil which smells really good during the service. I recommend calling for reservation so you can have everything arrange. So far so good. Staffs are professional. I love the hygiene of its place and price is reasonable. Definitely come back soon for Hot oil massage during the winter!

V V: My friend told me they give excellent massages, I went there. I get massages once a week and being new in town am looking for a regular place. I need a receipt with my name on it for insurance. Two phones calls, two attendants, and I had to provide two forms of ID and they still couldn’t figure out how to provide me with this simple request. When I asked why this is so difficult I was told “there are rules in Hungary.” I am not trying to pull a heist, I just need a receipt. This whole interaction kind of takes away from the point of relaxing: too much work.Taking my weekly business elsewhere.

Mike: Delicacy, a really nice positive environment and experience. The way I see it for the fraction of the price (compared to any foreign resort area) you can get a nice massage. Plan it right, for the first round get a traditional oil massage, obviously that can be firm, so for the second or third time tell her to give you a softer massage including face massage, go every day while you are visiting Budapest. It will be money well spent.

Елизавета Иванова: Amazing spa!!! Friendly and helpful staff, great massage and saunas! It’s better to come during weekdays in the morning, when there is no people. There isn’t so much space, so it’s great if you come the first. There are 3 types of sauna, a jacuzzi and a tea room with fruits and a places to relax . You can come 3 hours earlier than your massage starts to enjoy all the spa. You will be given everything:slippers,bathrobe and a towel.

The massage was smoothing and very professional, and we enjoyed the facilities of the spa (jacuzzi and sauna) for a few hours after it. The place offers a very relaxing atmosphere, fresh fruits and a variety of teas. It’s located in the heart of the city, and it’s definitely one of the best experiences we had in Budapest! :) I warmly recommend this place to everyone who looks for some quality time alone or with a partner/friend/family member

But the music in the massage room was horrible…It did not allow to relax and was not calming at all. Additionally, the massage room was cold.
Tiff: Me and my partner came here for the day. We firstly both had the hot and cold stone massage for 45 minutes. This was absolutely amazing! So relaxing and the women were lovely. The facilities I thought were quite limited however it was mainly us and a few others there. I then had a facial which I was so unhappy with. I really had high hopes for this treatment but it was so underwhelming. The women wasn’t the friendliest and not much happened other then a face mask with a head massage and then about 2 creams being rubbed in. I wouldn’t recommended the facial.

A super kind, welcoming and helpful receptionist lady showed me around first.Bathrobe, towels, slippers were all provided. They have a beautiful relaxation area with all kinds of treats, tea, cookies, fresh fruits, water, and beautiful decoration. I loved the jacuzzi and the saunas too. For my massage I chose a 90 min pamper package called "chakra darma", which was the ultimate relaxation experience for me carried out by the loveliest and most professional therapist lady. Definitely great value for the price, a highly recommended day spa!
Oscar Jigman (Zirn): Very calm and cozy place. We arrived 2h before booking. They got 3 saunas, jacuzzi and a tea room. They serve tea, water, fruit and some snacks. The massage was wonderful and very relaxing in a half dark room.
NB: Everything was absolutely perfect! I met lovely staff in reception. Very welcoming and helpful! And the oil massage I get from my kindly masseur Timi was amazing! Also they offer fruits, water and tea and the relaxarea without any extra charges. I will absolutely go back if i visit Budapest again. ❤️

Lander B: This was easily the worst Thai massage I have had this year out of about 50 Thai massages, most of those taken while I lived in Thailand. I have also had great Thai massages in Budapest and highly recommend taking another shop than this one. The lady knew the routine, but was unwilling to apply any pressure with her hands such that a massage effect would be noticable. As she also skipped parts of the routine, hardly just moving her hands, I suspect it was a matter of attitude rather than strength that was missing. I asked for more strength from the start, she delivered this for the back and legs by standing on them. While I am aware this common practice for older masseuses, to me it seemed she just preferred it as an easier way for her to spend the hour. She has hurt me more than any other masseuse ever had and was unable to moderate her strength with my signs / remarks of pain. The other body parts meanwhile didnt receive any noticeable massage at all.
Neelam Sewa: Living in Hungary since 5 year and never had such a worst experience in Thai massage .. I made a really big mistake by going there.. the receptionist was ok but the massager really need training.. no music while massage, no tea after massage.. not recommend form my side .. note just expensive

You have most likely missed an opportunity to get the best massage of your life, as this "unorganized staff", are the BEST authentic massage therapists in Budapest. 1. Could you send us a copy of your confirmed booking, as we didn't find any booking in the name of Anatoli in our ENTIRE system. (It is possible that you did not fully complete your booking or that you entered the wrong email address.) 2. The second couple of guests you have decided to include in your "review", have booked into our other salon in Pest, and have mistakenly come to the 5 Elements THAI spa. Therefore, naturally, the girls couldn't find the booking in their database... So please tell me, who's to blame or "unorganized" here? :))

Lara Kristjansdottir: Me and my fiance had a ‘Bali For Couple’ massages booked in. A 90min full body oil massage + 30min foot or facial massage as well as fruit and wine after. The service was nice and straight forward. You get what you pay for and more and the experience was relaxing and overall nice. We did however ask if we both could get the footmassage but I didn’t realise until too late that I got the facial massage instead. I have sensitive skin so the Bio-Oil used on the face did sting a little bit and I had a burn blister on my neck before attending the massage that some oil was rubbed into. Essentially my bad to not point out that it was a wound but it was pretty obvious so quite unfortunate that the massuse rubbed the wound. So be sure to mention if you have any injuries or wounds before starting the massage! 120min is a long time for one massuse - so by the end we felt that they weren’t as thorough as in the beginning. I think max 70min massage would’ve been perfect.

The location is a bit hard because their address doesn’t have a unit number on it. Go into the mall up the escalator and right as if you were walking to the back of the building. Highly recommend 90 minutes!!

Wandering Traveler: Having visited the Ruby location prior, I had higher hopes than my experience at Emerald. The rooms are quite compact, warm and I felt it far more difficult to relax at emerald than at Ruby due to the environment and the constant phone calls. Despite having an appointment, and entering the building several minutes beforehand, my massage began 9 minutes late. The therapist apologized that it was busy that day, but then proceeded to leave the room an additional 4 times throughout the massage (which had never happened at the other location) for various reasons including to turn on the AC. Several minutes later she returned and stated the AC did not function. I have never spent so much time texting in the middle of a session waiting for a therapist to return. Though they apologized for leaving each time, there was no time compensation for the late start or the time breaks at the end, I would’ve expected at the very least for the massage to end 9 minutes later than scheduled. However we still ended on time even though there was no massage scheduled after me and it was not near closing time. They watched the clock throughout and it ended a minute or two before the massage should have. Honestly it was quite disappointing experience overall, I will try out another massage company in Budapest going forward. The massage at the Ruby location was very effective for neck and back pain, but during this one I experienced very little cracking at all during stretching, if any. If choosing between the two salons, I would definitely recommend the Ruby one, but for consistency sake perhaps try your luck elsewhere. Update: I do appreciate the business reading the reviews and responding to the customer. I initially arrived 6 minutes prior to my appointment, and the doorbell didn’t open the gate on my first attempt. A minute or two later on my second attempt I was able to enter the gate, so I arrived to the facility three to four minutes prior to the appointment time. However I did want to remark that the therapist did NOT compensate for the time and the massage did indeed end earlier than it should have unlike the business owner’s response implied. I have no intention to exaggerate, I only wish to describe the situation like it is. I chose the exact same massage type at the other location, and there was much more cracking and stretching, so I did not imagine I would have to specify.

It was written so clearly in front of the gate that you can enter by pressing code 1, due to Chada Emerald is located inside the passageway and after 19:00 the gate will be always closed. The therapist compensated the time and ended exact time following to your massage period because of 9 minutes late starting. If you prefer the be stretched and clacked more , then please choose Traditional Thai Massage next time when you visit other massage parlours. Booking is very easy through WhatsApp. Got a very good massage from Shane who gave a very good suggestions and pay attention on other problems I may have. I ran marathon back to back and the massage helped relieve all the tensions.

Ira Ban: I just had my first Thai massage ever at Chada Thai Emerald. They have 2 studios, one at Károly körút 22 and one at 23. I went to the one at Károly 23 and I can’t compliment them enough. The studio is absolutely beautiful, cozy and clean. Everyone working here is super sweet and welcoming. The owner is very professional and kind and the girl who gave me a massage, Fogus, was not only a great masseuse but also a very warm and kind person. I wish I had visited them before and I’ll make sure I tell all my friends about this nice massage parlor and even nicer people working here. Bruno: I was used to go for a massage here at least 1 per month thanks to my friend Claudio who introduced me to this amazing place. My friend also suggest me a masseur she was amazing, no need to tell her where the pain was. But last time yesterday everything was so odd. The towels had a bad smell ( never happened in 5 years I visit this saloon) the masseur said I booked 1h mix massage when I actually asked the oil one, but it is okay the mix massage is better so I decided to proceed. The room was really cold, in the receptionist room it was really hot, in the massage room really cold but it is okay it may happen. The worst thing was the message. The lady looked like she just wanted to finish ( maybe cause it was a late appointment at 18:30). The massage was not balanced, for example on the left side she used the towel first, then dry massage then oil massage, but on the right side only oil massage. I told her several time I had pain in my shoulder and she did not even focused a bit on it. At the end I asked if they changed management but she said no. So I don’t know what happened to chada. I hope it was only a bad day but for now I have to give 2 stars.
