Menyország szíve Bio Bolt Organic Health Food&Coffee Shop: what do users think?

Josefina G.: Very friendly couple. I went to eat the daily menu on a weekday and in 5 minutes it was ready. Very nice presentation.Incredible taste and reasonable price. Also healthy.100% recommended even for non-vegans.

Noemi Bognar: Very friendly owners and delicious food. Dining there made me feel like I was back, backpacking in South-East Asia. It was a lovely experience to be out of the Budapest concrete jungle in this cute, cosy hideaway

수희이: I had the chance to try their 4different types of meats :) They were delicious and owners were very kind as other people already mentioned. My husband is a vegetarian and he enjoyed the daily menu a lot! I think if you are vegan/vegetarian and like vegan meats you will love this restaurant! From my heart, I already gave them 5 but personally I prefer real vegetable dishes than vegan/vegetarian meat. So I gave them 4. I definitely recommend this restaurant for everyone and I cannot wait to visit again! :)

Nikola Mirkov: It was a really nice experience. The food is great! Very delicious and affordable. The service was expedient and pleasant. I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone up for vegan food.Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 4/5 …More

Robert Wolfrum: Amazing restaurant. Also the music the older lady who worked there was sooo good so if you are eating there pls do a me a favor and ask for one or two song names so I can find the one I am searching(I unfortunatly dont live in Budapest and cant go there myself)

Stanislav Andres-Dérer: Tiny cozy place ran by a passionate vegans. All dishes they serve are really nice, but chocolate cake and chai are the best! Vegetarian options: No meat or animal products at all Dietary restrictions: Have planty of plant milk options as well as gluten free

Marianna: Lovely wholesome food made with heart by a lady who has been a vegan activist since 36 yrs. You can also buy your groceries, have a cake or drink an iced coffee. Fast and friendly service! 💚💚💚

Ana González: Loved it!!! The owners were really kind and extremely welcoming, plus the food is amazing! Can 100% recommend when in Budapest

Oh My Green: what do users think?

Etienne F: A lovely little place tastefully decorated, bright and cheerful serving salads, wraps, juices and drinks. The prices are a little high but I was happy to pay to finally get some satisfying wholesome food. Everything was delicious.

Fiona Ham: Great snacks and service, we had a chicken pie slice with a sesame dough, the lemon cake and the spirulina smoothie. The savory pie was tasty and the lemon cake dry. Amazing music playing.

Beezer333 Beezer333: “Health & Hedonism”. Here for a light breakfast of yogurt and fruits. Delicious! And of course, my morning cafe latte. Great and cheerful service. (Note: I didn’t have the donut nor the cake but just had to take a pic!)

adrienn mohai: Lovely all day breakfast place. I liked the fact, that they are not strictly vegan or paleo, so you can still find items with flour or meat included. The choice of cakes and cookies on a Saturday morning was bedazzling, the staff were nice and helpful.

Galyna Antonenko: Was the first time and tried this shakshuka bowl, which wasn’t good at all, the corn tasted old, uncooked and dried. The “grilled eggplant” was also uncooked, so it tasted really raw..:/ Maybe other stuff are good, but I would definitely NOT RECOMMEND this shakshuka bowl!!!!

Aljoša C.: Went there to get breakfast. Wow was i surprised! That pumpkin cream - chia seeds thingy was one of the best foods i have ever tried! Also the coffee was huge! Great service and a clean hipster kind of interior makes this a perfect place for breakfast, brunch or a takeaway! Oh and the prices are very modest. Highly recommended!

Balázs Bónis: Nice, filling salads and wraps, quiches. Also for take-away. They do vegetarian and chicken dishes as well, the curry aubergine bulgur salad is really nice and balanced. They also have a selection of lovely desserts in little cups - mostly creamy puddings (rice, tapioca, etc) with edible flowers and fruits. Cards are accepted. Expensive in Budapest terms, but not as much as in other Western European cities.

Annalee Falconer: Beautifully decorated, delicious food, amazing matcha and also had a super filling salad

herBar: what do users think?

Iva Markovič: This bistro is really cute and cozy. The food was good, almost everything is gluten-free and a lot of dishes are also vegan. Me and my friend each ate a salad and we also ordered some dip plate with vegetables and the portions were really big! Also everything on the menu is vegetarian. The waitress was kinda cold.

Yvett Krilek: HerBar is a nice choice for a brunch with friends. The menu here is gluten free, and most options are vegan as well. The food is made of quality ingredients and fresh veggies, the drinks are delicious and there are various sugar free versions too. I like the atmosphere of the place, the terrace is very pleasant.

Charlotte Oestrich: This is a great store but I am not sure how gluten free the sandwiches are. Told the waitress i have Celiac and she said she thought the bread had something in it. Ended up avoiding it and had a goat cheese salad instead, which was delicious and loaded with lots of different, filling vegetables and a huge block of cheese.

slav4ec: have just tasted two cream soups here, and they are just amazing, best cream soups I have ever tasted, highly recommend the pumpkin and the vegetable with curry, both are hot and very interesting. salads are great too, and very large portions. the jackfruit tastes like chicken, omg! secret recipe as I got to know. and the lemonade, oh, not too sweet, very refreshing. the place is very cosy, music is calm and silent, it’s very nice and rare nowadays.

Benjamin Harvey: Cozy café tucked away in a back street that serves a range of gluten free and vegan options. The sandwiches were decent with a good amount of filling. The staff were efficient although not massively friendly.

Leonardo Schieder: Gluten-free and vegan restaurant. We had delicious tuna and feta & spinach sandwiches and very natural tasting smoothies. Friendly service staff.

Lada Božić: Absoultely amazing gluten free vegan food! For adults and kids alike, and for non gf and non vegans too. The staff is amazing, the place is ultra cute.We had cumberbat and beetroot sandwich (recommend), peanut and fruit waffles and pastry menu (twirls and coffe). We also had hot chocolate with flavors, they are great!

Kristina Canady: Such a wonderful cafe. Maricitas was wonderful. She made an outstanding smoothie bowl and waffle. Highly recommend

Tökmag Vegan Street Food: what do users think?

Jacopo Castello: A very valid vegan alternative just 10 min from the parliament! We really liked this place and its great variety of available vegan options (vegab burgers, soups, fries, etc) We also loved the location, we were able to get a table outside and enjoy our lunch in the middle of a very cute pedestrian street.

Shotiko Japaridze: Savory vegan burger spot, their burgers are made from beans like lentils, not the processed beyond burger stuff Also, get the sweet potato fries and chips, pretty standard but they really complement the burgers Service is fast and friendly too so you won’t have to wait long if you’re hungry

Jan Schleider: Really nice choice of tasty vegan burgers, reasonable prices and nice staff.Big plus - green sitting outside and great choice of deserts.Recommend for all.

Laura Ballbe: Highly recommended vegan restaurant near Parliament. The service speaks English. The burgers are very good and there are also soups. There are more options like pasta or salad. There are also desserts. The price is very correct. The place is nice and friendly.

Timea Cselők: The service was kind and fast. They are giving water, free of charge, which is really good in the hot summer. The place is cute and has a nice atmosphere. I had a nachos burger, it was good, but not the best I ever had.

Joe Wozniczka-Wells: Tökmag serve a wide selection of vegan burgers as well as cakes and salads, with lots of gluten free options. Both the mushroom and zucchini burgers were delicious, as was the basil dip and the sweet potato fries were lovely and crispy. A must visit for vegans and vegetarians in Budapest!Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Vegan Burger, Vegan Mushroom Burger …More

Brandon Palmer: Hands down the best vegan burger I’ve had! Place was clean and the staff is friendly. Only thing that would have made place better would have been air conditioning.

Helga Hermann: This is the BEST vegan place I’ve ever been to in my entire life. There’s a wide variety of soups, salad, sandwiches, hamburgers, pasta, amazing desserts, and so on… everything vegan. And the place looks amazing too, there is plenty of seats available downstairs (you can even plug your charger/computer in, under every seat there’s a socket). And the service is great too! If I could give 6 stars to this place, I would.

Petr Pham: Tasty burger, tho the waiting time was longer than expected. Waited almost 20 mins to get a drink that is poured from a jar. Another flavour was still there but not possible to buy (I still don’t get why 😬😅).

Hokedli: what do users think?

Aaron Sharma: We were looking for authentic Hungarian lunch, this place is a hole in the wall and very easy to walk past. The hosts are very welcoming and warm. They helped us understand the food and answered our questions with patience. There are bar stools to sit and enjoy your meals. Very reasonably priced and fresh. They have mostly vegetarian options. I ate the spinach and cauliflower soup and fried chicken on the side. It was really simple flavour and nice meal.

Olga Shkurenko: Super delicious soups and pottages!!! 😃we have tried 3 types: mushroom soup, black lentil pottage and greenbean pottage❤️ we loved it!

Vincenta Gurauskaitė: I love this place! I work nearby and I’m so happy to have you so close! Always fresh, hot, healthy, super tasty food. I believe in your quality, it’s like to eat at home🌿 Also cozy little place and cute service. Wish these people all the best! 🧘‍♀️❤️

Santravelz: A good spot to get some healthy soups/pottage such as like green pea pottage and tasty milk pie for dessert. The place is tiny with a few small tables so mostly a takeout spot. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian soups

Ema Topalović: Every day is a new menu, homemade soups and portages! They are very delicious, especially if it’s cold outside they will warm you up.

Martin Fodor: Best place to alleviate your vegetable soup/stew craving in Budapest. Vegetarian and vegan options are also available with the allergens listed on their daily menu. Warm and delicious meals made with love!

András Vizsy: Quality food, nice little place - one can try ‘főzelék’ here that is the love child of a soup and a vegetable stew...or at least this would be my best guess to describe it. Anyways, good stuff

David Chadsey: Really nice place with good and affordable soups. Change daily and they post the offerings in English and Hungarian. Good place to try the fruit and berry cold soups Hungary is known for. Great for a simple yet very tasty lunch or snack especially after so much heavy Hungarian food.

Gina B.: The stew was very nice, the bread a bit stale. Music a bit too upbeat for a cozy flair, other that descent little place.

Édeni Vegán: what do users think?

Hatulitos TV: The staff was so nice, they have excellent fresh juices, excellent food but a little lack of flavor. They have Gluten free options including hamburger, the gluten free bread is home made, everything was excellent but i recommend improvement in flavors. The prices are a little expensive too. I recommend this place.

Rodion Busigin: Very nice vegan cafe. Great and tasty options of burgers, soups and other healthy options. Freshly squeezed juices, teas, coffees. Had two meals there (so far :) ) Burger. With home baked bread was huge and really good. And scrambled egg for breakfast. My favorite - orange croisant! Staff is really friendly and helpful. Speaking good English. Highly recommend. Although prices are not very cheap but portions are huge!

Freya Daisy: Fantastic! The food was delicious, fresh and really wholesome. I was really impressed! The portions are generous too. I had the hamburger plate and I loved it. Special mention for their homemade lemonade which is divine ❤

Lillith Freeman: We got a mix plate, bit of everything, and it was all absolutely delicious. And for the price you get so much food, we stuffed ourselves.I didn’t really like the homemade green juice it was full of bits that made it hard to drink, had to really chew every sip. But the food itself was amazing.

Lawliet Journey: Cozy place and friendly staff. Delicious food!! Try their juices, the berry beet one is so delicious. Husband loves the veggie burger!! And the plates are huge. Super great deal for the price.

SEEMA: Absolutely fantastic place for vegans to eat a full meal with good variety and a special dessert. Their daily special menu is at a reasonable rate and available only till 15:00 or so.

Maria Chirik: We had a variety of food but it was a little bit expansive for us. We paid 25€ for 2 people. But the guy who sell the food he speaks English and politely explained to us everything ❤️Recommended dishes Vegan Food …More

Emmett Moulton: This family business is wonderful. The vibes are awesome, the music is perfect, the food is really good, the cappuccinos were 👌, and overall it was a wonderful place to chill in the rain before our train ride. Sabi is a wonderful vibe of a dude who exudes good vibes and kindness. I felt very homey and welcome in this small restaurant, chatting with Sabi helped. Good luck in your business studies! When we are back in Budapest, we will go here.

Napfényes Restaurant and Confectionery: what do users think?

vee dee: Amazing vegan restaurant with lots of yummy dishes to choose from! We got the pizza and risotto- both were amazing. The prices were very fair and we were surprised at how affordable it was considering the restaurant looked so upscale! The service was great too- staff was very attentive and nice. Highly recommend coming here for dinner- it is a great spot especially for date night. They also have tasty desserts!

PARIKSHIT KAPILA: Nice vegan restaurant with good service and friendly staff. Pizza was really good. Asian style noodles and zucchini with quinoa were also nice to have. Only thing was that we had order at one go as we reached at just after 8 and since they had to close at 9pm,they suggested that they will pack the food. Although I understand as they also had to start their dinner after a long day. I would say it is a must try in Budapest.

Elle Loupandina: Good vegan dinner. We came here on our first night in Budapest. Very nice staff, helpful and cheery. We had the large bean gulash that comes in a cute bucket, seitan with potatoes and fries. The gulash was amazing! The seitan and potatoes were flavorful but a bit much and fried. In fact most things are geared towards fried. Not bad just something to consider. For dessert we had the gluten free sugar free dumplings and they were amazing. Very interesting flavor, not something I’ve ever had before and might never find again so definitely recommend just even to try. I also had the ginger hot drink which is just grated ginger and hot water, very warming on a cold night. Overall a good experience!

Laszlo Torok: I can’t praise this restaurant enough. High quality very tasty vegan Hungarian food. I come here every time I am in Budapest. They also have a daily menu which is excellent value for money. It is a 100% percent vegan restaurant which also mean zero cross contamination with non vegan food. The staff is so friendly and welcoming too. I can’t recommend enough this vegan oasis in the heart of Budapest.

Krithika Sankaranarayanan: Delicious vegetarian food. I had theor goulash soup and zucchini spaghetti. Soup was great (heavily recommend), spaghetti was good but little on the salty side. I am glad I found this place. Much needed veg refreshment.

N. Preston: Perfect service and delicious food. The first place I found serving traditional Hungarian food 100% vegan. I’d highly recommend the Hungarian soup and bread to start. Amazing! Will be back.

Will Grove: The best food I found in Budapest! So good that we went twice! The bean goulash soup and the seitan roast (pictured) were both incredible - so rich and flavoursome. Highly recommend if you are in the city and looking for well priced, delicious vegan food. Will return if I am in the city again

Olivér Nagy: Great little family owned vegan restaurant in the heart of the city. Their food was amazing, as a meat eater this was one of the greatest burger I’ve ever tried, and it’s 100% vegan. The desserts are delicious too! 2 people can eat a main and a dessert and have a drink around 10.000 HUF, which is quite cheap.

Sarah Erler: Very nice restaurant, the atmosphere is cozy and private. Staff is friendly, mindful and fast. I enjoyed the Bean Gulasch and the Bean Burger, both was really good and tasty! Definitely will come back when I am in Budapest next time. Cash and Card payment possible.

Luis Cermeño: Traditional and homemade. You would never believe you will find these vegan options. Dishes were so so delicious, staff has very kind. ❤️ prob the best vegan restaurant in Budapest

Siri Kalapu: Amazing little place, very unassuming at first glance but pleasantly surprised! Great to try vegan versions of the more traditional Hungarian food. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere. Inexpensive which is a bonus.

Daveee: Overall really nice experience. Yumm goulash that hit the spot, the mushroom burger was also exactly what I was after and they have some local beers to go with that. Friendly and competent staff. The place is also down a few steps from the road, which makes for a comfy environment. Will be back here for sure <3 Vegetarian options: Everything is vegan.

Victoria Bouzas: The staff was lovely, the food was delicious and hearty, and the vibe was just right. Also the price was super budget friendly. Would def come back to try other dishes!

Radhika Thakrar: Delicious vegan food in a local area. We definitely felt like we were out of the tourist areas when we visited here. The menu was in Hungarian but the waitress was able to tell us which dishes were vegan. It seems they have 2-3 dishes of the day to choose from which are vegan or vegetarian. A great selection of cakes/pastries too which are vegan/vegetarian. Heart warming, healthy and simple food. I’d come again!

Lilith: Super cute place with extremely delicious food. The price is completely okay and if you take the menu you get a soup and a main with it. The service is excellent and friendly. There was a slight mix up with the food and they were so quick to give me the right dish. I can wholeheartedly recommend it here!

Elyse Williams: Cute little cafe with nice and simple vegetarian and vegan food, there are three meal options which I think change day-to-day. Lots of vegan cakes!!

Sanjaya: Nice place away from the crowd place. Nice decoration inside the Café. Very good customer service. If you want to have lunch should go early because when I was there there’s nothing left.

Johannes Väänänen: 1150 ft vegetarian lunch menu with soup and quinoa salad. Mild good tastes. Girly but comfortable restaurant.

SEEMA: Fantastic fresh healthy food cafe . They have vegan food choices too.

Mikołaj Krzyżanowski: Good and very cheap food. A few vegan dessert and main dish options too

Minnie Lam: Nice place that feel like at home, simple foods but delicious! Service is good too

Zsolt Török: Can get very busy at 12:15, so be on time for the menu lunch. Nice folks, good food for the price. Little bit too white everywhere, however some people might even call that advantage.

Adam Daniel: Excellent cuisine, nice and friendly staff, nice and pleasant place. We really enjoyed it and we wish to the owners only the best, good luck and prosperous business.

Anna Emese Csákvári: This little bistro has a sweet vibe, it is at a quiet, nice, little street, the food was tasty, the cakes are really good! Really helpful and kind staff!

Balázs Turai: A humble and small bistro in the "organic street" of Buda (Szabolcska Mihály street is packed with organic shops). Mainly Indian style dishes, with a changing daily menu. Everything is cooked or baked on the spot in a very home-like manner. Service is kind and helpful, the interior is calm and simple. Reasonably priced.

CD J: Small, cosy, friendly vegan eatery. Gets a bit busy around lunchtime, but the lovely stuff manages it all very well. Must be a favourite with office workers and uni students in the area.

Scott Gaul: My favorite lunch spot. Do not show up late. Sometimes they run out of food.

Veganlove street food: what do users think?

Annalisa Marino: I loved this place! there should be more vegan venues like this in the world! vegan food is good, colorful and healthy and respects the land that gives us all this. if i go back to Budapest i will come again! see you soon, from an italian vegetarian girl❤️

Rodrigo Azevedo: The food is perfect. Very tasty. They have a wide range of options for hamburgers, hot dogs and sides. They also offer nice drinks.

Andras Peter: We came here for lunch and all four of us absolutely loved the dishes we got (gyros plate, Philly cheesetake, sweet potato burger). Staff was very helpful and friendly. Great experience overall. We will come back to as soon often as we can.

Lillith Freeman: We got hotdogs and they were very tasty! Delicious toppings and the “sausage” itself was lovely - but we felt the ratio of bread/toppings to the actual sausage meant you could barely taste the sausage. Bigger dog needed would be my only criticism (: Staff were lovely.

Ersin Dogan: Best burger, really huge portions, delicious taste +5 stars. Table cleaning makes -1 star. No soap in toilet -1 star.

Radhika Thakrar: Delicious vegan “junk food”. I’m not always a fan of this kind of food but this was really yum! We got the enchiladas, corndog and vegan shrimp. I’d get all of them again! Obviously not mega healthy but I enjoyed it v much!

Eva Komarkova: One of the best vegan places to find in Budapest. Great fried chicken burger, big Kahuna burger, loaded sweet potato fries and amazing French croissant & pastry❤️

Natasha G: Delicious food. Great vegan place close to the city center. Though a bit small, they need to expand. :) I had the Mexican dog and it was tasty. I also had a salad from the salad bar, it was delicious. I always enjoy more getting a salad as I can choose what and how much to put. Plus, it has healthier options, so do not miss out trying the salad bar. Two years later, post COVID, the place is even better. Well done! They have digitized the ordering, so it goes quicker. But most importantly, they have some menu additions that are delicious. The loaded fries are yummy. There is summer outside seating.

Julianna Vida: We gave this place at least five shots, the food is just not good. I’m truly baffled at why people seem to like this place. Is it that vegans are just happy to have a vegan street food place? Budapest doesn’t have that many vegan options, is it that we are just happy to have it? Tonight we gave it another try, after promising that we would never ever get it again, hoping to turn this around. And yet again, the food sucks! The bread on both the burger and hot dog was stale. The hot dog bun was straight up hard. The burger was dry and tasteless. I don’t know man… this place is way overhyped. Vegans deserve better than bread they can knock on like it’s wood.
