Fanni P: At first it might seem a bit overpriced but after getting your food you gonna notice it is so large and you can hardly eat it so I would say the price is very reasonable! You can get authentic Korean foods in large portions and enjoy the table grill with your friends. Waiters are nice and the service is quick. Highly recommended:)
Mats Palats: It was nice, good kimchi, we had a bibimbab and dumplings. A little bit pricy so minus one but very nice staff. The person who reviewed 1 star without eating must be stupid? Small portion? Korean dinner u get a lot of small sidedishes.....

Tangsuyuk (fried pork in sweet sauce) was tasty, albeit not crisp as in Korea or North America (LA, TO). Galbi (beef rib) soup had a flavourful broth, tough meat, with big inedible chunks. Stylish decor, large menu.
최병현: I ordered one JJambbong. Taste is different Korean JJambbong, but you can feel the scent of that. There was some problem to pay. Attendant calculated wrong, about VAT. I refund it go again. Be careful! Water bottle is sooo small(0.33L)
호호호호: I ordered the Jajangmyeon. And this is sauce for it. I ordered this several times and the sauce was full of the bowl in the picture. So I complained but the restaurant said that is the original sauce amount. If it’s the fact, then you guys must not sell this menu for every customers. You can make a mistake but your response was venomous. Please do not diminish the status of Koreans.

W N: Super authentic Korean restaurant as I see so many Korean biz deals taking place there. The decoration also. But the restaurant has very low rating. I think it’s something to do with the taste. The food is a bit salty and not too balanced with all the ingredients. I think if they can add some sugar in the kimchi or make it sweeter, it would increase or bring more flavors to those dishes. The service is good though

It was a very enjoyable experience. Vegetarian options: It is a perfect place for vegetarian people. They provide many choices of delicious and healthy vegetarian dishes.

Dorota Gajda: AMAZING food! Worth more than 5 stars. Only chefs special - chicken gizzard were chewy, flavourless and not spicy, not to our taste. The other dishes (chicken and vegan bibimbap, kimchi soup, Korean fried chicken) were fantastic and the best Korean we ever had. Service was very fast and efficient

They could tell us in advice that some dishes would come with a portion of white rice instead of letting us buy more, we didn’t even touch the extra rice, neither opened the lid, they still added them to the bill. So ask before adding more rice.

Katalin Dao: The best Korean restaurant in Budapest, where they serve authentic Korean food just like in Seoul! Delicious food, huge portions and very attentive polite staff. Their Kimchi Jjigae is comfort food at its finest. We also had Bibimbap, Kimbap and Bulgogi which were all fantastic. Might be a little on the pricy side, but it’s definitely worth it.✨

Tim Byrne: When my younger brother returned from Korea as a young GI with his new wife in tow 40 years ago, she quickly won us over with her amazing skills in the kitchen. It was my first taste of Korean food and I was instantly hooked. In fact, it’s one of my favorite cuisines. I never expected to find flavors like I remembered here in Budapest, but much to my delight I found Manna. The portions were generous and perfect for sharing. Everything was incredibly flavorful and we couldn’t have asked for better service. Our waiter was very attentive and took time to explain how to combine the sauces with the dishes to obtain the perfect experience. My only complaint is that I would have loved to see some mandu on the menu because they are the perfect appetizer. Japchae would also be nice but the Pork Bulgogi with noodles were quite tasty. The spicy rice cakes were a table favorite. 맛있는 식사 감사합니다
Maxima Helldorff: My boyfriend and I went on a trip to Budapest and mainly wanted to eat hungarian food, but since we both love korean food we had to check out this restaurant. Turned out to be absolutely worth it. The food was so good we wanted to come back the next day again. Staff was also very friendly. Would definitely come back again soon.

Jargal Ganzorig: It was delightful to visit in Manna Restaurant and eat my most favourite Korean food. When I came inside for the first time, interior design was definitely grasped my attention( full of posters of my childhood crushes and of movies that I watched thousands of times) which eventually brought me into Korea even though I have never been there. Waitresses were wonderfully polite and kind to me to explain everything carefully and thoroughly. I have to mention without doubt that FOOD WAS SUPER DELICIOUS and CHEAPER compared to any other Korean restaurants in Budapest. I will highly recommend it to anyone to visit in this awesome restaurant and travel to Korea without actually be there in person! Owners are absolutely marvelous to run this wonderful business in the center of Budapest :))Being honest with you, I am not that kind of person who will comment on anything in public that often, however, this time it really impressed me to the point that I want to let everyone know and for sure I will visit again. :)
Solyda Thourn: I would have given it 3 stars but for that price, you can get better quality and taste of food here in Budapest. The food is edible but I wouldn’t come again. I can’t say anything about the authenticity but to me, it’s certainly not the same as other Korean restaurants I have tried. You can find a better Korean restaurant:)

Kang Zi Jing: I had the pork and seafood spicy noodle soup. Portion was huge! I haven’t had a day in ages where I gave up finishing my food. Served side dishes like all authentic Korean restaurants do, except some of theirs had a twist to cater to the western palates more. I was tempted to come back the next day for Korean BBQ. Service was also perfect, one of the best service around.

Hanga Trubiánszki: We came out of the restaurant very pleased. The employees were very friendly and welcoming. They asked us about the food which was really delicious. We also got free side dishes and rice chips. The place was clean with really nice and calming music in the background. We found the place easily, too. 감사합니다.

John Mark Dela Cruz: Very authentic samgyupsal. It’s the closest samgyupsal experience I’ve had in Europe, speaking as someone who tried it in Seoul. They added a bit of western side dishes so I think that’s nice. The servers were really nice, patient, and accommodating. It’s not even pricey for what they offer. Highly recommended place! Would definitely come back.

Sean Fox: This place has amazing samgyeopsal, jjambong, and jjangmyeon. Unfortunately I didn’t order those any of those dishes this time. I ordered the Korean Fried Chicken. It came out as just cuts of old chicken breasts which were breaded and deep fried. However, the chicken they used was old and rubbery. It was as if they needed to quickly defrost some frozen chicken breasts so they microwaved it, but they did it for too long. Rubbery grayish chicken. Also the sauce was too much ketchup not enough gochujang. And the amount of garlic was insane. Seems like they must’ve chopped up a whole head of garlic and sprinkled it raw on top. It was one of the worst kfc dishes I’ve ever had, and having lived in Korea for many years, I’ve had lots of yangnyeom chicken.

I am sorry the chicken was not up to your expectations, and I must sadly admit that there must have been a serious problem/issue in the kitchen according to the pictures attached. I have spoken with the kitchen regarding it, and we have found measures to make the chicken taste like in Korea. I would like to further mention that we do not freeze our meat - we only use fresh meat. As far as my understanding goes, the fryer was making errors which caused the main problem. Regardless of the problem, it is definitely our fault to have served such food, and sincere apologies. Wayne Mowery: Incredibly authentic and even more delicious! I had the Budae Jigae which is a dish that I haven’t seen served outside of Songtan, South Korea. The taste and presentation was fantastic. The Kimchee was also really good!

Marta Pisani: I ordered with a friend Jjajangmyeon and Yangnyeom Chicken. I loved the chicken, it reminded me of authentic Korean chicken that you find in Seoul. Spicy and addicting, also: very nice amount of it! I was a little bit let down by the Jjajangmyeon, it tasted quite differently from the one I was used to in Korean, and my Korean friend whom I shared the meal with agreed with me. I will definitely come back to taste Samgyeobsal there, because I saw many Koreans enjoying it in other tables, and I literally was the only ‘non Korean’ there, it felt like being in Seoul. I think that’s a plus for the restaurant, having ‘locals’ going there means that you are doing it right. I might also give another chance to Jjajangmyeon, might not have been its best day😅.

Remco Veenenberg: We had the Shake Don and Bibimbab, I was blown away by the Shake Don, amazing fresh salmon, avocado and Japanese omelet with perfect sushi rice and seaweed rolls. The Bibimbab was also excellent. Nice modern Korean looking style and friendly service. Amount of salmon was fresh and not stingy, highly recommend this place!
taha: My favorite new Asian fusion spot. Everything I had was very fresh and delicious. The tempura was insanely crispy, the octopus karaage was the highlight of the night, so flavorful with the bonito flakes on top. The salmon sashimi was refreshing and the kimchi was perfectly spiced. Definitely gonna be a regular here.

Carolina Ann: It is not the cheapest restaurant but they serve authentic Korean dishes. The owner and waiters are friendly and helpful. Dishes have a flavorful taste and they are well presented. The atmosphere is tranquil, nice settings and decorations, especially the outdoor space. A bit far away from the city center but worth the travel.
Anpanman Delicious: Is not easy to find Samgye-tang ( Ginseng chicken soup ) in Korean restaurants here in Europe.Especially you need to wait for 2 hours preparation time for this amazing dish. It is worth the wait and recommend to reserve this dish by phone in advance.

SEEMA: One of the best KOREAN restaurant in town. They serve about 5 to 6 complimentary side dishes. The portions are big. Food is delicious. There is a bus stop just outside the restaurant. Service is quick and ambience is nice too.

I H: Quirky little place that serves quality Korean food. Had a hot stone bibimbap (돌솥비빔밥) with the side of seaweed soup (미역국) both were tasty and reminded me of home. Affordable prices too.

Smelly soup: I think this is the most Korean-style Korean food ever I have eaten in Europe this few months! I miss Korean food so much and this restaurant is like bringing me back to Korea haha! They are spicy and I like them so much!! Many Koreans came and eat and the boss here is a Korean too. He is nice and friendly! /BUT the first time when I wanna visit this restaurant, it is closed when it supposed to be opened! (I have checked the opening time in google and it is the same shown on the door of the restaurant) I am not sure if there is some changes for the time so I suggest to go at night!

Air_424: Good it’s really tasty and well made, everything from the sushi to the raw meet to grill. Services it’s very kind and very keen to make some exception to the dishes since we had children with us. Elegant atmosphere and pretty modern. Highly recommend if you want both world, from the sushi to the grill meat.
Girlene Mae Malayao: Restaurant is situated in a good location. Ambience is excellent. The menu is on a tablet which is very convenient since you can see the photo of the food. Our table is inside a small room and we had it for ourselves which is great! Food was not that great though, and the hot pot is really bland even if already added with the sauce provided. We were kinda disappointed but otherwise service is good.

Leut Bounpaseuth: Simple Japanese and Korean BBQ food. Some meat are hard, I recommend the marinated bulgogi, it’s much better in the grill. I don’t see any asian in staff, maybe only in kitchen ? The menu is presented in a tablet, it’s interactive with some explanations, that is nice if you don’t know what to chose. The place is nice with several rooms.
Vitri Vit: Sorry guys I didn’t take many pictures. We were looking for Korean grilled so we went there. The food was good, nothing special for the beverage but the service was excellent. Staffs are friendly. Moneywise it’s overprice for Budapest price but I’m still happy cos everything was good.
taha: We chose this place late minute and reserved a table with a grill. The sashimi was fresh and the Yamato selection was very tasty. We ordered a few bottles of red wine and they were smooth. The service was great, our server Orsi took good care of us and recommended the a pork cut I don’t remember the name of and galbi beef ribs. Both were delicious. We also got the New Zealand lamb ribs which were tender and flavorful. Definitely overpriced but the quality is good.

Čapa: Amazing experience, we got the Korean BBQ, didnt grill the meat as long as recomended which made it turn out even better, got bunch of different kinds of sauces, salads... - they were all great. First time trying kimchi as well - loved it.

Linda Cheng: It’s been awhile haven’t been in this Korean restaurant. Missed it so so much 🤤 The BBQ premium pork belly was awesome 👏 so nice the meat!!! I could eat a whole plate without ordering other food 😝 Had a yummy bibimbab my favorite with the stone pot. The seafood pancake was also very interesting with the sauce. The fried chicken with spicy sauce, sweet and spicy not too bad; my friend liked it so much that ate most of it, I just had a chance to try one. 😂 Will come again and try some other dishes!

Jinnie Seo: I was pleasantly surprised with the authenticity and quality of the korean food at Han Kuk Kwan. I’m a naengmyun (cold noodles) enthusiast and have been craving it since coming to Europe from the States. This place exceeded my expectations! If you’re looking for legit Korean food in Budapest, Han Kuk Kwan is the place :) remember to call to make a reservation as this place gets booked up quickly!
Robert Maessen: We went to Han Kuk Kwan restaurant today and we had an awesome experience. We don’t have much experience with Korean food, so then the menu can be a bit overwhelming. But the staff took their time to help us out and we ended up with a great dinner and an fantastic experience. So don’t be afraid to step in and try their food. Next time i’m in Budapest i will go straight to Han Kuk Kwan again.
Zoljargal Ulziibadrakh: This is my absolute favorite restaurant in Budapest. The food is always fantastic and no matter what I order I am always delighted with my meal, and the barbeque is very yummy and highly recommended. Servers are also friendly, happy, and polite.

Roland Trimmel: Excellent. This place is frequented by the small community of Korean people living here — and, one can really see they enjoy the food. It’s fully authentic, nicely spicy .. and they also serve Korean BBQ. Everything I’ve had here has been excellent, and service is very nice. Try their hot pot or any of the meats from the BBQ, I can definitely recommend them!
C P: i wanted to try the jjajamyun but they didn’t have the noodles.. so i tried the soondubu instead. it was just ok. i was disappointed that it didn’t taste like in korea at all. the rice wasn’t that great either. the restaurant got sooo smoky with no ventilation so i had to hurry up and leave before it gets worse in my clothes and hair and nose.

Bad smell on the inside, it’s goes to your clothes and hair Expensive for what it is Some dishes are spicy and on the menu it’s doesn’t say they’re spicy It’s recognised on OTP app that you can pay with SZÉP card however you can’t, they don’t take it
Joseph SAMAHA: We were small group of 6 looking for a Korean BBQ .this one came in 3rd position. At 7:30 pm 2 tables occupied by korean guys were generating so much noise that we could hardly hear ourselves🤬. Such a contrast with our neighbors table...sweet refined korean ladies. How can they live with such rude guys?😁. When it came to order our food , several picks were not available anymore😳. We had to retreat on what was still served. Finger meat was not such an enjoyable delicacy. Rather hard stuff. And not generous portions of side vegetables. We tried seafood pancake. Much better one is in Paris in my district. Soya and kimchi plate was ok. Sweetsour fried chicken was not bad...like candy. All rather expensive. Nice waitresses trying to cope with overwhlmed service. Awful fry smell in the air...you keep it on your clothes. A/C was hardly giving cool feeling. Not a place i would try again.
bryan choe: Food, the meat was ok but it was so hot and warm in the restaurant when eating and cooking the beef 😫. Not comfortable to have a dinner. And the menu gizzard of chicken was so spicy. The next day having a stomachache.

리락이귀여운: The jjamppong was so delicious.. The soup was excellent.. Unfortunately, Hungary is a landlocked country, so I remember that the seafood was about 1 shrimp or 2 mussels... but everything was solved with just one soup. The sweet and sour pork was pre-fried, but the roof of the mouth was cracked because it was fried again and again.

Joseluis Torres Calle: Traditional foods made with careful attention to Korean tastes. The staff are really nice and the boss is super passionate about making the customers feel at home, very soulful hometown recipes. The pork belly barbecue is amazing, wood fire grilled and served on the hot plate. They have very traditional selections, brown rice, and side dishes that are rarely seen elsewhere. The tempura was a big favorite, very fresh and incredibly tasty.
