Istanbul Kebab: what do users think?

Ferdiansyah Iqbal Rafandi: For me this is the best turkish restaurant in the town! For several times I went to here and I have never got disappointed. Delicious foods and you get various of options to choose. Highly recommended and if I could give more than 5 starts, then I would do ig

mathias hjelle: Very good kebab place in Budapest, and open late every night, so you can get a good lunch, dinner, or some late night snack on your way home =) good prices, good Meat, and good portions. This place is close to big shopping streets, so if you are in the area you should visit and try it for yourself =)

M: Delicious food, fast service, reasonable prices and great location, but the staff member who served me could have been a little bit happier!!

Darko Milenkovic: The kebab was very good and fresh. Lot of meat. Good range of price and quality with big portion. Nice place for cheap and good meal.

Anett Balla: Perfect spot if you need something quick and good to grab. They are open even on a Sunday evening until quite late. There is plenty of seating, the place is spay and clean. The gyros pita and a dürüm were great, just be away if you order spicy, it really is spicy:)

Jainuddin Shaikh: One of my favourite halal places to eat, turkish meat, sweets. The kebab were excellent, meat was tender and not dried. I loved the bread, though it seems the main dish is gyros, but i think its my opinion. There are many other several options. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options they have falafel. Its like gyros with vegetarian cutlet or sandwich made with vegetarian salad.

Clement Amponsah: It’s my favorite place for Turkish treat whiles in Budapest. Prices are VERY economical and quantity is VERY good. Taste is also consistent makes it always a great choice!

Filip Mokrogulski: portion could be a little bigger but veeeeery tasty 😋

Abigail Christine Chen: Big servings at reasonable prices. Flavor is good, lotsa veggies and chicken, at 2,500HUF you also get a a plated gyros with sides. A normal gyros is around 1500HUF, which is still worth it. Outdoor ambiance is really nice during the summer.

Lizzie S: Pretty flavorful and yummy gyro and fresh salad. Lovely kebab shop😊

Nissan 350: Stopped in for a quick gyro before heading to the airport. Good food. Nice ppl. The baklava was really good too

wabisabi wabisabi: Nice durum with nice sauces. Super affordable.

Marc Miller: The food here was great. 3 of us had chicken donor with chips and a very salty cheese on top.. was amazing food.. but then we had been drinking all day.. looking to source the salty cheese now home it was that nice.

Istanbul kebab & grill török étterem: what do users think?

Atabey Heydarli: Best kebab restaurant in the town, right in the centre, only two streets away from the main church. Portions were big enough for the price that they offer. Also taste was quite good. Additionally the staff were friendly to us.

F A: We loved the shawerma and mezza the most. The falafel and kebab were average. Very friendly staff. Casual place with seating outdoors. They offer complementary turkish tea after the meal.

Ábel Tóth: High in protein (Reaction to the answer) I went to the restaurant with my wife at the evening. We ordered to take away, and everything was fine. The staff was nice we had no issues at all. I have no picture here. How did you find out that you had problems with me? I am curious about the conflict too. You could share more details, because it never happened...

Dagný Valgeirsdóttir: I had the gyros durum. The bread was a bit stale but the meat was incredible and the vegetables and everything else was really good. The fries were cold and not that good. Boyfriend had the gyros pita and that was very good and fresh. Clean place and very good price.

Lela: Excellent place in the center of Bidapest. Very good turkish food for friendly prices and FREE CHAI (tea, black od fruit).

Pooya G: Good quick food/snack. Friendly staff. Pretty reasonable price.Food: 4/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 4/5 …More

Apartments Croatia: Great place to eat 😋. Food is extra delicious but the staff is more than excellent. If you are hungry and want to eat and be full after the meal this is the place to go.Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Antony Ross: Delicious food, Gyros was nice, the kebab box with salad was good. Baklava was the best. Delivered by Wolt.

Emilia Piatkowska: Amazing food, friendly staff and delicious tee for free. Good location in the city centre

Antalya Kebab: what do users think?

Luqman Hasan: I have tried this place a few times, never had bad experiences. The price is okay, the staff is okay too and the food tastes good. The place is clean and well-maintained, nothing bad. It’s located on the busy area, near the tram stop. The price is reasonable.

A J: Tourists beware!! If you’re going at night, they’ll overcharge you. Check the price before paying. We happened to have my Hungarian friend with us so when we asked them for a receipt and they pretended not to hear, she asked in Hungarian. They then started adding random numbers on the calculator and showing us, each time not adding up to the total we paid. We were used to the sneaky overcharging at this point so didn’t make a fuss but they added a good 2,000 HUF on top of it. Only adds up to an extra £4, but still. Food itself was just average but good enough for late night food when nothing else is open.

Nader Aldawahreh: The sandwich I had was amazingly delicious! Friendly staff and actual spicy if you ask for it.

Belabed Zohra: Very delicious food.friendly staff and cheap prices

Noah Christensen: Pretty good place. The bread for the “Gyros Szendvich” had actual texture which was nice, but even after asking if we wanted spice (chili / hot sauce) in and we all said yes, there was none in any of them. Very unfortunate - but if you don’t want your food spicy, it has a lot of taste all by itself. Atmosphere was nice as well, and at 12am there was not too much of a rush. They made the food very fast.

Rob Stangroom: Quick take away as one would expect - basic premises. Late night snack on the way home type placeFood: 3/5 | Service: 3/5 | Atmosphere: 3/5 …More

Philippe De Vos: Surprisingly good gyros wrap for very good price

Star Kebab Turkish Fast-food: what do users think?

naeem ulla: If you are a Muslim and searching for Hala food near the Nyugati railway station then this is a better place. This place is opened during Sundays also ☺️ If you are on a vacation to Budapest on weekends and searching for good food then this is one of the place where you can grab nice veg and nonveg food.

Mohammed Amer Pasha: Yup another good day with a friend here this is my seventh visit after renovation. The waiters and cashiers very pleasing and attentive to their guest. If you need to go rest room is very cleaned anf comfy😌

D. Wong: We came here twice, the meat both chicken and beef kebab are delicious, not too salty nor dry. Also I really love the idea that you can have a whole plate of water melon ! Super healthy and economic for your wallet.

Kevan Kwok: Good option for a late night feed. The standard of kebabs/gyros/Turkish food in central Budapest is not great in general dry or processed tasteless meat, little toppings and small kebabs. Star is decent in comparison, at least the chicken gyro is better although they put too much sauce, the lentil soup served with bread is filling and tasty. The ambience inside is a bit classier than a regular place and they have a large range of food. Decent option, not amazing, not bad.

Richard Lacey (Lace): Proper nice grub, service was simple and quick. I ordered a beef gyros tortilla, the salad was fresh, tortilla was soft, the meat was tasty. The only thing that would have made it a five in my opinion would be more hot and spicy. I didn’t take a picture, I was way too hungry to even think about it.

chihung lu: we had a good time here. the food was not the best but okay. some plates were cold but you can ask them to heat it, VERY IMPORTANT !!!! Not the best service but passable, some of the staffs should smoke more 🙂 Like the hot Turkish tea to warm me up in the winter. Lots of food and lots of people when we were there so be aware

Ammar Ateeq: NOT RECOMMENDED! We ordered Iskender kebab and Adana kebab, the food was smelly and cold. It wasn’t addible at all and all of it went to waste. The only thing we could eat from the dishes was the yoghurt. The meal costed well over 12 euros for each dish. WASTE OF OUR TIME AND MONEY

rebeca ardelean: i could not belive how rude the blond girl could be. She was rushing me to do the order. She was upset because i was keep ordering and when i asked for third meal, she replied "oh my god!" and rolling her eyes. I got very upset that moment and i asked her why is she rude? We were six and we stop ordering after 3 meals and left. The owner should be aware that the food the client is getting, is not for free and the client who is paying should not get that threatment from an employer who has no ability to work there. Shame on that lady!

Jawwad Haq: Delicious good, good quality and quantity.Food: 5/5 | Service: 3/5 | Atmosphere: 3/5 …More

M: Not bad for a late night snack but Budapest is filled with places like this. It just happens that this one is located right in the center, therefore there isn’t much to say about this restaurant except that it is conviniently located.

Nour Halaby: We visited it during christmas, and it was one of the very few places to still serve food after 5pm! We were so hungry so it saved us. It opens until 4am. It is a turkish restaurant. In terms of taste, in my opinion it is average if not less. Very crowded. Prices are a bit expensive. And we even pay for ketchup! Fries are not delicious. Lentil soup is spicy and not so good. I think the best thing is to order freshly grilled food.

Mark Fridvalszki: Never eat there. I had a (super dry) falafel sandwich last evening, it was like terror for my stomach. Not even the yoghurt sauce had taste. This place is shame on real turkish food culture! -5*

Bewtie Bew: I order Lame kabab like in the picture and some Vegetable salad like in the picture. Test good for the price. Not a place to sit and chilling out or a romantic food. Recommend for a quick and easy food, cheap and test good also big portion.

Faz Perso: Trust me it doesn’t look as good as I taste!!! And for those looking for Hallal, this place is a must:)

György Vályi: A restaurant at a very central and busy location easily accessible for travellers. The restaurant is rather large with TV sets to watch football and outdoor seating for hot days. There are enough staff to attend the guests. I tried to order veal gyros shown on the menu but I got to know quickly that they have run out of veal, so I ordered chicken gyros that was not hot enough. The taste was still satisfactory, the price is affordable. Free wifi and toilet is available for the guests. Card payment is accepted.

Deniz Avcı: Best Turkish restourant ever!! Doner And all foods and desserts was soo delicious. And Persons are soo kind. Restourant and toilets are clean. AMAZİNG PLACE.💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

Z COHEN: One of the best Turkish restaurants. All the food is fresh and delicious. Very good service and fair price for a good meal.Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Christian Ramirez-Gaston: They took 30 minutes to prepare a durum. Apprently they give preference to local people. They serve food to them before serving it to the ones in line.

Cathie Cottle: Amazing kebabs, fresh, tasty salads and meat cooked to perfection. Delicious sauces and outstanding service. We would highly recommend and will most definitely be back during our time here.

Andrejs Broks: 01:00 pretty good meal. The potatoes were mediocre, but the chicken tasted great.

Michiel Janssen: “If you like kebab that is very tender because of undercooked meat that is glued together, this place might be a good pick for you. Just bear in mind that you would need to be a disease-lover as well to fully appreciate the aftermath of your festive evening” Mvg, Bert

Oliver Urban: I buy normal kebab in tortilla for double price. It was the smallest kebab, that i ever had. Taste was discusting. I hope hygiene closed it.

Valantis Argiropoulos: 3000 fiorint(7.25 euro) for one doner and the guy had us waiting 5-6 minutes before hanging up his phone to take our order even through he was stand one meter from us.....

Jacob Anthony: I don’t say this lightly - the best kebab I’ve ever had. Ignore some of these reviews from uncultured swines. My friend and I are from England and we know our way around a kebab, and it was so divine we went back for seconds. If you’re ever in Budapest, it’s a must visit. Don’t forget guys, 10’s and 6’s only.

Michael Lopez: I paid 2500 HUF ($7.50 USD) [double typical price] for a basic falafel wrap with cold, stale falafel inside. A true scam indeed. Worst food experience that I have ever had in, not just Budapest, but the whole of Europe. Extremely disappointed.

Péter Darabont: Scamming people with 3000 HUF doner, left without buying anything.. Horrible..

Istanbul Kebab: what do users think?

Maria Romanov: Not the best food me and my partner got the same thing but he had salads in his and I didn’t get one in mine and had to order a salad separately. The meat is really salty and it would have been better to customise it yourself however there was a very strong language barrier. The person serving didn’t seem friendly so I didn’t even want to ask for that option as I felt very rushed during the ordering process. Inside was really wet from what I could only assume was the bathroom. I would say this would be good if you were ordering it after a night out.

Jesper Jacobi: The worst meal i ever got in Budapest Meat was very dry and the fries was very soft and uncooked, the pita bread was uneatable ! i asked for a gyros menu and I had to pay extra for a coke I can not recommend that restaurant 🤮

Michael Nguyen: Ordered 5 gyros plates 1 tzaziki 1 falafel plate 1 greek salat only 3 out of 5 gyros plates came to our house no tzaziki no falafel plate no greek salad all in all catastrophic delivery was 1 hour late food was ice cold Do not order!

Gabor Homor: One of the two Istanbul Kebab stores. They are one of the best generic gyros places in Budapest. This is a good gyros place, the portions are big and they generally have a good value. Besides the gyros they have a good selection of other generic dishes. Also the salads are in bigger variety compared to other kebab places. They have walnut, pistachio and chocolate baklavas, which are very good. If you like this joint, give a try with the one located in Akácfa utca.

Nesa Kov: The plate full of tasteful food. Personel very fast, good prices. Very nice experience. I recomend. 🙂👍🏻🌶️🍅😊👌🏻

Friedrich: Worst service I have ever experienced. Unfriendly and rude staff.Food: 2/5 | Service: 1/5 | Atmosphere: 1/5 …More

Tasos Deriziotis (Shadow In The Darkness): Awful experience as we were sick to our stomach after eating here. Specifically, we ate the minced meat stuffed eggplant, which of course is microwaved right in front of the customer. Watch for yourselves, not even cheap for this rubbish served.

Alanya Kebab Török-Görög Étterem: what do users think?

Katarzyna Kucaj: Avoid at all cost! The price is way to high. We asked for a large portion, which was ridiculously small, I asked for the explanation and they said there is more meat inside. But it was less than in any regular portion that you may buy much cheaper anywhere else. I think they are aware that there are many hungry people going back from the parties around, so they set so high prices with the lowest quality you may get. And the guy was very unpleasant. Do yourself a favor and choose a different spot.

Aryan Thakore: Very friendly and great value for money . Alex was very pleasant and busted me some very delicious food. What a great guy 👍and 5 star customer survice best one I have had. The owners daughter of the shop pretty cute too

pavel krigman: The bread wrap for the gyros, salads and sauces is much smaller than the meat and salads it holds (at least for the big option), the only thing that holds everything all together with the sauce and all is the paper wrap, and it all gets mushed together which can be not that fun to eat... Good price for a night snackFood: 2/5 | Service: 4/5 | Atmosphere: 3/5 …More

A Tech motors (A Motors): Very good kebab place in Budapest, and open late every night, so you can get a good lunch, dinner, or some late night snack on your way home =) good prices, good Meat, and good portions.

Michael Lopez: Delicious food. Nice staff. Fair prices. Everything that you would want!

Diana Melnikova: Found this place randomly and it ended up being every nights after party must-eat-at place 😂 definitely one of the best gyros of my life and it’s not just the alcohol talking!

Banker: What a Greek Kebab! Kudos to Chef Ali and the owner. Really friendly and helpful. Talking about food, I was speechless I have been visiting this place for continuous 3 days I am here for vacation and I tried different restaurants but this place is Awesome. THIS IS THE BEST GREEK KEBAB in whole of Budapest for sure! Thanks for the food! Regards, Sameer. (I really liked the waitress she was too cute and the food made by Chef Ali made it more mesmerising)

Jonathan Benton: I’m from Miami so I know good pitas and this place has some of the best. Alex, the guy who’s making them hooks it up too. Great spot for street food. Highly recommend.

Hari Kebab: what do users think?

Artem Nekrich: Very disappointing. I tried the beef XL plate. I had to return the first attempt (on the photo) as it looked good but both the meat and the fries were absolutely cold. On the second attempt I did finish the plate but the “beef” was super salty. Also the sauce was on the vegetables under the beef. So it was really hard to get to. The overall impression is not great. The pre-cutting of meat (as can be seen on the second photo) ruins it even if it consumed five minutes after. I am very disappointed but this experience and will continue searching for a decent kebab in Budapest.

Erin Ross: Go, walk, run, to Hari Kebab. You know a dinner is good when you start eating and everyone is silent because they are enjoying their meal. That is what happens at this place. Great, simple options for all different diets. A quick, satisfying dinner! We appreciated the simplicity and tastiness of this food. We will be back anytime we are in Budapest.

Patrick Keinemans: King Lahmacun is the best with veal meat. The baklava is really tasty.Food: 5/5 …More

Mario Pérez: Definitely the best kebab on the Pest side in Budapest. You can pay with card, the staff talks in English.Perfect to take out and wiper fast. To dine in is a bit small. Pet friendly and quite cheap

Josefina G.: Very tasty kebabs but I have to say it’s too expensive. The sauce is delicious. But 2,800 for chips, coke and the regular size gyros it’s too much. I liked the system and it was very fast overall.

Vedat Direk: If you want to eat a real good gyros, then this is the place! It has a very similar taste to the one you’d have in Greece. Options are widely various, prices are low and the portions are quite good. The meat tastes fresh. You can pay by pay card or cash or if you work in Hungary - the cafeteria card. The restaurant itself is very clean, spacious with good indoor seating areas and they’re dog friendly. The staff is also nice. It is possible to dine in or take away. I’d definitely recommend trying it out, as it’s worth every penny you’re paying.

Csíki Gergő: Not like any döner place for sure. The garnish was so unique, I was blown away. Cottage cheese, eggplant chips and more. Also super fast service. 10/10

Szeráj Turkish Restaurant: what do users think?

Luqman Hasan: One of my favourite halal Turkish restaurants in Budapest. The food taste great, the service is fast and staff are good. The price is reasonable, not too expensive. The place is clean, it has toilet, two levels of dining area and have air conditioner for hot summer. All in all, I have been to this place many times and never got bad experience. Totally recommended.

Patrick Keinemans: The oven baked pasta what can I say you have to try its that good. Also the calf doner kebab. All meats from the charcoal are great, these taste so good.Food: 5/5 …More

Josh R: Ive been here a few times and the food has always been pretty good. Stopped in today and had a gyro, lentil soup and a side dish, eggplant with yogurt. And I have to say, it would be worth just coming in here for a plate of their eggplant with yogurt, a small plate (which is a lot) was only 600 Ft so about $2.00, simply amazing flavor!

Alexandru NEACSU: Went to try after seeing a line at the entrance... yes, great authentic spot, buffet and menu with clean super fast service. Amazing selection of most traditional Turkish dishes. No alcohol!

Алексей Матвеев: I had lunch here today, ordered chicken doner plate. Fast and tasty, a large generous portion for a very reasonable price. A large spacious hall and tables outside. There is no alcohol on sale! Definitely recommend.

Naeem Sulehri: Tasty and cheap place to eat. Service is good. You can pay by credit and debit card.Recommended dishes Calf Donor Kebab Bowl, Lamb Sis Kebab, Fish and Chips Dinner …More

Md Nazmul Hasan: Tasty food in reasonable price. We ate three times in two days. Chicken kabab platter and lamb steak platter were the best (7/10 EUR per platter if you convert the money from HUF). A small glass of Ayran was less than 1 EUR. The place is very reachable from Hungarian Parliament and Margaret Island. Recommended the place happily :).

Nora Rozsnyai: My forever favorite Turkish restaurant, and I’ve been there a million times. The dishes I keep ordering are chicken sis kebab and Urfa Adana kebab with bulgur. Accompanied with an apple tea. It never disappoints.

Super nice relaxed guy working there, smalltalking with customers while preparing the food. Will recommend!

azar mehrafrouzian: I bought kebabs from different Doner Kebab branches in Budapest But to be honest, The taste and quality of this branch is different And the freshness of the meat and the friendly seller have made me only buy Turkish kebab from here. And to recommend to all my friends

Azad: Not only was the sandwich very tasty and delightful, but it was generously served at a really fair price. I strongly recommend trying this delicious halal chicken with its special sauce. ;)Thanks again :)

Woshan Sheik: The gyros tastes heavenly! The owner is really kind and the price is not expensive, even though the food has a high quality. I recommend trying it 100%.Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Елизавета Иванова: Good and big kebab, but the taste isn’t standard. It’s unusual (probably because of the sauce) , so probably not everyone will like it. But still good option to try!

Rami Khrais: Biggest gyros sandwiches in Budapest!!! Very good taste and delicious 😋

MiR restaurant: what do users think?

Gaurav Jha: It’s located in the heart of the city with all the travel and shopping places nearby. The quantity of the food compared to the price is totally worth it. But the salt in a food was a little bit too high for me, like I went twice to eat other dishes in the menu, still it was salty 😅 Ps. The food type is salty. Overall I would say, eat and check for yourself. ✌🏻

Michael Appel: One of the best shaormas I had in Budapest. Love the spicy sauce.

Erik Schmidt: Suprisimgly best kebab I ever had. Meat teasted very smoky with touch of coal, I honestly got no idea how they do it, but i was totally surprised!!! Chilli sauce is fine as well ;) good job guys! keep up!

Eddy Loomans: Mediocre food at best and denigrating service. Tourist trap.... I picked a chicken sharma which was "ok". For a friend I ordered the same type of sandwich but with falafel. The falafel was deep fried in oil that was used for deep frying fish. Cold and utterly, truly utterly, disgusting. The short statue lady at the cash point showed UTTER hate to tourists. She may be in the wrong business. Why do restaurants that - without doubt - know how to make decent food have to sink so low? With the same effort of making unpalatable food you can make something delicious. It beats me why some establishments do that.....Why are you even in the business of providing food to tourists?? Disgraceful......there are without doubt dozens of better options in the vicinity.....

Wouter Brem: Friendly staff, food is great and service with a smile

bushra bangash: It is a nice halal food place in Budapest. They have variety of food in very reasonable prices and good taste.

Alan Gunlu: Food was very delicious, the dessert also very good. Employees are kind and they give good service
