ST Lew: Hi . I have been to this salon just 2days ago and she (VIKTORIA)is the worst hairdresser/hairstylist I have ever met. First of all she didn’t gave me the color what I asked. Also she don’t know how to cut hairs properly she damaged my hair cut . Also she charged me so high without informing me for treatment prices which I didn’t asked for any treatment. I just went there for hair color and hair cut. She charged me just double. Also when I wrote her on Instagram , she blocked me so it means that she really don’t care about her clients. So please be aware of visiting her next time. Also please confirm the price before you start anything with her. Be aware guys with Viktoria. Thanks
Mercedes.s _: German student here. Best hairdresser in Budapest in my opinion. Very nice guy, very affordable and cute hair exactly how you want it very fast. In Germany I usually pay 50€ for a hairdresser and it takes 50-60min. Here I pay 6000huf and he cuts it in 15min
Diana Tran: my hair turned out so good. I get my hair colored (balayage, ombré, highlights) every where in the world and this place did the best job right from the start. I got Balayage for my asian thick hair and got the color I wanted. Better than I expected. Great service, Viktoria was so attentive, friendly, and skilled! I highly recommend this place. I got my hair trimmed also and love it just as much.

Louise Russell: I have been coming to Ollo for a few months now and Zsanet has been my stylist every time - I am incredibly happy with the work that she does and I love the hair colour she has given me. My highlights are well placed and a beautiful colour. She is calm and patient and provides exactly what I asked for but will give advice when asked. The salon itself is modern, has a beautiful aesthetic and is very comfortable; I’m always greeted with a friendly welcome and smile from the lovely lady on the reception desk who has excellent English. Imre Kovács: I recommend this place, they are professional, you can book online, the process is quick. I personally recommend Mark Dulity, great guy, really good in what he is doing and always fun to visit him. The place is bright and big enough, they nicely renovated this big old house. Going here for years, never had to wait a single moment if I had a reservation.
Zsolt Mátyás: Professionals seem to work here who like their job. Levi cut my hair, I was more than happy with the results. My only complain was that air conditioning was not running in weather above 34 °C. If some employees do not handle being blown cold air at them, may I suggest switching work stations to get away of the air conditioner so guests can sit comfortably for an hour while being covered with that sheet they use
SH Kim: I dyed and cut my hair a lil with László Zsanett! She is kind and professional! She understands well what I want my hair to be done, and her skill is absolutely charming! Furthermore, I am Korean and she knows how to deal with Asian hair! Not only her, but the other staffs are amamzing, too! They also speak English well and friendly. I strongly recommend this place to get your hair done!
juhi pandya: the hairdresser could not handle my wavy hair. more of she totally transformed my hair into something different from what i asked. the worst she could not cut bangs probably. there was a gap in between. do not waste your money and time here.

P F: I can only second Jeremy’s review below. I am terrified heading into new hair salons as I have quite straight, medium long hair which does intimidate some hairdressers and it’s not particularly forgiving… Roland (I believe that is his name) did an excellent job from start to finish. Highly recommended for more demanding customers!
Jeremy: Definitely 5 stars. I’ve been looking for a barber who first of all speaks English and knows how to cut medium long hair by men. The guy (don’t remember his name) really took his time and knows what he’s doing, speaks good English and gave me some useful tips as well. Best barber experience I had so far and I’ve been to multiple barbers in different countries. Normally I don’t review anything but this was exceptional.

Alex Leiner: Highly recommended!!! I went there yesterday for an appointment and got one today. I really love my new haircut! It is always difficult to find someone who can make a good haircut for woman if it is not just cutting straight ;) and these guys know how to do it. Cool music and atmosphere, everything on time and they speak English as well!!! Checked some other places as well but this one was love at first sight 😍 Prices are very fine as well!
Nelly Kent: Nice place and cool stuff The towels are very dirty and not fresh they use ...used towels. The place it’s dirty and they don’t clean the hair from other people and it’s full of dust. They don’t clean the brushes and the same they look like they would have germs inside and it looks absolutely disappointing. Too bad for the staff cause they are cool but the place it’s one disaster and one sanctuary for dirty brushes and hair tools .bleahhh

Everyone speaks English and the staff is very friendly (thanks for the tea!). They play good music, there is a friendly and a bit alternative vibe (but not to the level that makes you feel alienated and awkward). I will be coming back. A totally irrelevant but for this review: One of the brands of cosmetics they use with packaging in fluorescent colours, which I found funny. This is a casual, small place that’s comfortable and hip. I rely on other’s reviews to find good haircuts when traveling. Highly recommended again here! Go there when your hair needs help in Budapest.

Tony Kitchen: In my opinion, this is the best place in Budapest to get a haircut. The Manager, Marko, does an amazing job and speaks English very well. As a Westerner who has been in Budapest for a few years, I know all too well about the anxiety and miscommunication that comes with getting a haircut. You either get a military/nationalist cut or something from the Soviet-era. Marko gives you exactly what the style you want. Very affordable, great quality (as well as American Crew products, if you like). They also do a great job with the ladies. Definitely worth a visit/appointment.

Lolli is very friendly and she takes the time to listen to what you want and provides advice. She consults with you about length, shape, style, etc. She has a gift really. I highly recommend her! Additionally, the location is very central and accessible.
Alifia Sziraczki: I’ve been to Lolliland a few times now, must say that she’s one of the best. Every time I want to cut my hair short she’s always the right person to go to. Normally after committing to cutting my hair short I always regret it after, but not when she cuts it. She managed to give me natural looking highlights without it look rusty or going too blonde, a problem that I have found with other hairdressers. We have great conversations and she has a cute dog, which is a plus. 10/10 would reccomend!

Fraulein Balazs: I shopped at the store as a professional, but the server was about as "nice" as a malignant tumor. He was unable to answer several of my questions, and for the ones he did, I had to ask several times before I got some answers. With zero sales attitude, little knowledge. In the end, I hardly bought anything, even though I had a firm intention of purchasing several products, but even if the products were good, I canceled them.

Being on holiday in Budapest I heard about this famous salon and was a bit nervous as I normally do not go to the hairdressers in a foreign country but it was an amazing experience! Bianka Czakó is a very talented Master Artist Hairdresser and she made me feel comfortable right away. She and the owner of the shop, Zsuzsanna Galgóczy, took their time to discuss the options, colours and process with me and I was blown away by the result. Before my hair was very dark and looked worn out, afterwards I felt like a moviestar. My hair feels and looks beautiful. An absolute MUST when in Budapest to visit this salon!

Pablo Azcárate: This was my first haircut after years. I found this saloon in Google and I decided to go because of the comments and I did right. Gabriel is super nice and professional and fortunately for me he speaks spanish so was a nice sesion. I totally recommend it!

Noelia Cifuentes: Amazing hairdresser and person, he can communicate in English, Spanish, and Hungarian. He was the first hairdresser I visited after I moved to Budapest some years ago, and I remained loyal since the work is excellent. I first booked an appointment with him in 2018, and I kept going for the next 2 years for keratin straightening treatment, and eventually dying my hair too. Even if I am not living in Hungary any longer, I booked a flight in 2021 to get an appointment with him, so imagine how happy I am with the results. I plan to visit again in 2022! Seunghwa Han: I forgot to bring my stuff over there 1month ago. They have my contact number and my name too. No contact at all. When I go back there to get my stuff, they said they threw my stuff away. What a huge disappointment. Maybe they work well but I am really disappointed. It was obviously new stuff and who knows. They don’t want to give it back to me.
Alexander Shtykov: I made an appointment several days before the day. Came there and waited for 40 minutes just to hear "sorry you have to wait for another 30 minutes". No apologies or any sort of respect for me or my time
Gizem Erboz: Really bad experience we had with my friend. We booked our appointment two weeks ago on that place and on the day of our appointment we realized that they moved out another place (nb informed us about it previously) Anyway we called them and we went to their new place. We have waited like 15 mins and one of the hairdresser came to us and the hairdresser (Matt) who will make our balyage is not picking up the phone. They only say apology and we can delay it next week.How can we trust that place for the next week appointment anymore? They said none of the person can do our dyeing except him. It was not a professional behavior. They wasted our time. We would never ever go that place again and not to recommend anybody.

Matthew Linley: Great experience at Barber King (Okotogon). Sanyika was very professional, he spoke english and gave me the exact haircut I wanted. I will definitely go back for my next haircut. Booked easily online, payment can be made with card or cash.Services: Buzz cut, Scissor cut
osama madanat: The one that gave me a haircut is clearly not a barber but a trainee, he cant understand any english word, and didn’t listen to anything i told him just did what he knows. I don’t recommend this at all, complete waste of time and money
Snowflake Free Zone: I received a great service at a good price. Went without appointment although they seemed quite full. There are around 5 barbers working simultaneously and popular music playing in the background. Sometimes the talking can be overwhelming, especially if you are a foreigner, although it is more than likely only banter and inside jokes between them. One downside is it was quite loud, with the music and the talking amongst themselves. I don’t know how the other barbers are but the third gentlemen from the left on the photo cut mine and he was super attentive and detailed. Left with a fresh trim feeling fit for 4200HUF.

Alexander Petrov: I was booked for a haircut to the hairdresser Krisztian. He was not there. I had a haircut by another hairdresser who looked like a trainee in his actions. I had to ask to correct the obvious shortcomings of his work. no more foot there.
Josu Hernández García: Never go to this place unless you are Hungarian. They don’t even try to understand the style you are asking. Even if the are doing the same the the rest of the customers of the shop they will not do it well on you. Waste of time, money and hair.
Tim Mahy: I can’t comment about the quality of their work, they do appear to be very attentive. I wouldn’t recommend this place though, especially to non-locals. I sat and waited for over an hour, in that time 4 people that came in after me were served before me. Totally unacceptable and had it not been raining heavily outside I’d have walked out sooner. Their first come first served system is defective.

Navaneeth Krishnan: Went there to colour my hair. The girl who did it put it all over my skin and now it won’t come off. She didn’t even use any oil/Vaseline in the beginning to prevent the colour from sticking to my skin. Only after I asked her, she started using it. Even though they advertise themselves that they speak English, they barely do. I would advise to pay a little bit more somewhere else to get a better service.

Viktor Halpert: You have to arrive right after opening on workdays, and it is a guarantee for minimal waiting time. The staff is clever, and kind. No bike stand if you arrive by bicycle, and you can buy their own products for example the shampoo which was used before the haircut. I have bought one because I liked the scent of it. Credit card is accepted. Service is fast, and professional.

I will comee back again! A make up for a special occasion takes an hour and costs 6500 huf as indicated in their price list.
