Giulia: Just from outside, as a visitor/passer-by, the cluster of buildings is noteworthy! Some new, some restored, with gardens lovely landscaped, different shapes and seating areas, looking onto the hills. It is nice to visit, see and sit around during the weekend, when it was basically empty.

Luca Bandl (Lulu): They were the best years of my life, thank you! They imparted a lot of knowledge, I also loved the teachers and the whole building, the atmosphere that was here. Solid art.
Panna Lea Bodnár: This school is about the best place to go if you want to study arts! In addition to providing such a foundation in the art subjects that he teaches that many (as I have seen) can immediately find a job in the profession, he provides students with an environment that cannot be found elsewhere - it is no wonder that many of us consider it a "second home " mentions the place among the students. I highly recommend it to everyone, not necessarily just to study here, but even just to visit, especially during the year-end exhibition, because just seeing the works made by the students is an experience! :)

Aneta Navrátilová: I was here for Erasmus the teachers are really friendly and they mostly have good English, the university office is a bit chaotic but they try to help with everything.bytu can recommend this uni for Erasmus.🐙
SriHarsha Tatineni (Bapu): The Hungarian University of Fine Arts is the central Hungarian art school in Budapest, Andrássy Avenue. It was founded in 1871 as the Hungarian Royal Drawing School and has been called University of Fine Arts since 2001.
Buta Graphics: Did Erasmus here in 2009 and loved it! Enough said. :)
Paweł Michalak: Full of amazing objects, good place to spend time.
Szymon Pieńkowski: Great place.
Anikó Szárits: The restoration of the Lotz frescoes at the university has been completed. Interested parties are admitted at the gate, you can see how beautiful it has become! The university is celebrating its 150th anniversary, the Space Reservations exhibition commemorates this. Visitors are warmly welcomed from Andrássy út 71.

Ivan Momirov: The only reason why I gave 2 stars is because most of the teachers in this University are nice. Administration is a living hell, it is really hard to understand and get in touch with the departments that are supposed to help you. They will send you 100 emails that you have to pay the fees but none about your personal study updates. Career centre never answered my mails when I needed help with internship. In general, money is more important to Metropolitan then their students.
Authentic Experience: Well established university and teacher are very friendly. Love the atmosphere and lots of international student. If you want to see outstanding cultural mix then you should join METU.
Gyula Kovacs: The aim of the University is to pursue a high level of education even compared to European Union standards in the fields of social sciences, economic studies, art and art mediation, communication and tourism in bachelor and master programmes, specific trainings, higher-level vocational training, tertiary-level vocational training and adult education.
HR Harun: Budapest Metropolitan University is a modern, Inspired by creativity, education is the giving inspiring environment, students knowledge and Safe University.
Your Mom: Don’t let the one star fool you because there are some outstanding teachers at this school for the most part... This is the school you go to when you can’t get into any respected university and you just wanna coast by on the most minimal effort possible. Disgusting hierarchy where you are expected to pay 16k HUF in order to submit a request to talk to the rector; a request that the rector can deny. Kinda ironic that a school that teaches journalism doesn’t understand freedom of speech and accessibility for students. Final note just for fun: while some other Hungarian universities implemented mask mandates early into the fall 2021 semester, it took metu until November and over a week after there had already been massive transmissions among the students. The only thing they did after the transmissions was send out emails that most of my colleagues said they didn’t even realize they got because they don’t have email notifications turned on for the Hungarian governments online learning website
