emTom
emTom: Really great rooms with awesome scenery and clever puzzles. The price is one of the best in Budapest. The difficulty levels range from easy to hard as expected. Ideal for 2-6 people for any social occasions.
Xiao Wu
Xiao Wu: Very interesting, overtime for a while without rushing you. The staff is very friendly and will help you in time. Will come again next time.
Botond Palencsar
Botond Palencsar: Professional setup, very kind staff, good vibe.We have really enjoyed it.
Anca J
Anca J: The Mad Scientist room was awesome! So intricate, fun to discover. Not straightforward, and needs a lot of teamwork.2 of us were a bit claustrophobic, also the air was a bit stiff so we kindly asked the girl from the receptionist to leave the main door open, just the fence with the lock.

Daniel Simkhis
Daniel Simkhis: Did the White room, a great challenge for your brain, difficult and rewarding, all of the puzzles felt very fair and logical, highly recommended, great value for your moneyCheers
Response: Thank you!
Never Rage Quit
Never Rage Quit: Passed this lovely place and thought why not. Marcell was extremely polite and helpful, and actually recommended a tougher room once he spoke to us. We played the Mafia room and it was a lot of fun and challenging for the 2 of us. We managed it and would definitely recommend for people to give it a go. For 2 of us in a 75 minute room it cost £26.00. Marcell and his lady colleague (I didn’t catch her name) we’re friendly and polite and made the experience very fun.
Pizag Barnabas
Pizag Barnabas: If you have never tried the escape rooms and you are reading this review then you should definitely give it a try. They have a lot of brilliant ideas throughout the session so prepare you brain before the battle.
Walid Choubana
Walid Choubana: Nice concept... several escape rooms.Costs 15 euros per pax and can be less for larger groups
Ctln I
Ctln I: Great experience! We played Mafia Mission. Highly recommend!
Karl Sheridan
Karl Sheridan: Enjoy it, great buzz around the place at night. Definitely not a place for kids but central to everything, sightseeing, bars & restaurants.

Gergely Kovács
Gergely Kovács: We went with my wife here (just the 2 of us) and did the Armageddon. The quality puzzles take this to the highest possible level. I rarely enjoy escape rooms this much. Super exciting solutions, a lot of things are electronic or magnetic. Usually I feel like, that yeah there is a theme in the room, but it does not suck you in. Now this one was really like a bunker. So surprising when things lit up, that there are phisycal switches, things are moving, screens are turning on. It was so engaging!
Response: Thanks so much! I hope to see you again!
Sabapathy Manickam
Sabapathy Manickam: We went in for the Chernobyl room. It was hard, thrilling and fun at the same time ✌️ They did a splendid job of creating the elements shown in the Chernobyl series here 🔥 We got stuck at some parts and thanks to them for helping us with hits here and there to save the nuclear reactors from exploding 😃 Good luck to you if you gonna visit here anytime soon 🤙
Dr. Nima Rezvani
Dr. Nima Rezvani: I strongly recommend this escape room. I tried a lot of escape rooms. This one was very tricky. I liked it very much 😃
A. P.
A. P.: Very good experience and well done room! I definitely recommend
Madan A
Madan A: The Chernobyl escape room was big enough and challenging enough for our group of 5.The theme and the way you solve it is quite engaging
Jussi Päivinen
Jussi Päivinen: Visited the Armageddon room. The puzzles were logical, diverse, did not require you to spot some really small details from hidden angles and the flow was good. Visited with three people and got out 10 minutes before the end! Would recommend warmly.
Jean-Silviu Dupouy
Jean-Silviu Dupouy: We tried the Armageddon Room, the puzzles were both challenging and fun, with an impressive amount of interactive elements. I highly recommend it! The staff was also very nice and helpful in getting us started :)

Lauren Abercrombie
Lauren Abercrombie: This was the best escape room I have ever done. The staff are super friendly and passionate about the rooms which instantly puts you in a good mood. Exceptional staff. The rooms also deliver! Two friends and I did the secret subway which was challenging but enjoyable. They gave us just the right amount of help when we were struggling but still allowed us to really exhaust all our ideas. We went over time 10 minutes but they left us so we could finish the room. The details in each room is amazing. Cannot wait to try their other rooms! Thank you E Exit Team!
Response: THX🤗
ilya hellyeah
ilya hellyeah: Tried the 1984 room with my friend as a first time escape room experience. Seamed a good start as a mid level hardness. We just made in the 60min time limit. Very well put together, great storyline, good puzzle progression. Based on this experience would definitely do another escape room, and would like to try their harder rooms if given the chance.
Valerie Low
Valerie Low: This is the best escape room in Budapest!!! My partner and I did all 4 rooms they have. Our favorite is heaven and hell and secret subway. Secret subway is really impressive. Great job to these creators!
Martina Biondo
Martina Biondo: We did 3 escape rooms (Secret subway, Heaven & hell and Santa muerte) and they were all excellents and new generation. We were supposed to do only one but we enjoyed so much that we did one each day during our stay. The creators paid a lot attention to details, the puzzles/enigma were not banal and the solution asks to activate different skills! Game masters are great as well (thanks David!!). Great balance between price and quality. Go for it!!
Vanessa Zingaro
Vanessa Zingaro: We did the Santa Muerte room with 2 people and it was so much fun! Super cool puzzles to crack, and we made it out with 20 seconds to spare! Our room master was really helpful and nice.

Locked Room Budapest - Live Escape Game: what do users think?
Botond Horváth
Botond Horváth: The location is very central, easily accessible which was great. The vibe of the place and the employees were absolutely awesome. My only 2 concerns were the room itself being very linear and relatively easy despite the marketed 9/10 difficulty and the fact that there were a few technical issues as well. Fortunately our gamemaster Noemi was absolutely friendly and helped us through the technical problems and let us finish the room with a tiny bit of overtime, which made the whole experience significantly better. Overall Location 10/10 Atmosphere 7/10 Customer service 10/10 "Bunker heist" room 2/10 Price/Value ratio 3/10
Natalie Burrell
Natalie Burrell: Locked Room is A++ when it comes to epic and challenging escape rooms, we have done two rooms here so far and have booked a third! Also Roland the game master is a legend answering all our questions and making the game even more fun! Highly recommend!
Alice D.
Alice D.: Loved it, did the Heisenberg and the Motel room, both were amazing. In the Heisenberg room some of the puzzles need a bit of improvement or at least some sort of inside clue to be able to figure them out - but overall wonderful experience.
Erik Langendijk
Erik Langendijk: We have done two rooms at this venue. The motel room was very fun, but easy if you have some expirience. The heisenberg room was a bit harder to complete. We had a lot of fun. Staff was really friendly!A good recomendation!
Naama Sunshine
Naama Sunshine: Was so much fun!We ended up doing 2 rooms since it was a lovely experience. The team were super nice and friendly, the prixe waa good and the rooms are very high quality!

Egle Silenaite-Enyed
Egle Silenaite-Enyed: Superb experience! The room decoration (Egypt museum) was amazing. Sound effects and moving parts made it challenging but very fun at the same time. One of the best esxape rooms in Budapest by far!
Beata Matuszka
Beata Matuszka: This was the first time that we have visited this escape room in Budapest. We are having some dozen escape rooms behind our back, and we can say that this room was very beautifully crafted. We had the chance to try out Nautilus, a marvellous submarine room. The staff was very kind and they spoke good English, however some improvement can be done: - the magnet was not working properly at some point, and we were unsure that it was us not doing something properly or not, we could only got proof after we called for help. If they check us on the camera, maybe they could have noticed it themselves. - when we actually won the game we didn’t notice it. Maybe some sign/light can help the people to realise that they solved all the puzzles (because there are some deceptice ones, which don’t need to be solved) - with one of the tasks (the one with the ball) it was not clear in which hole shall we drop the ball, we could have lost it if we put it in an incorrect one, maybe that could have been clearer as well Nevertheless, it was a great room, try it if you like escape rooms!
DavidShmagic
DavidShmagic: We had a lot of fun doing the NAUTILUS quest, it looks amazing (not easy but great fun)
Peter Viktor Wagner (MrWagner)
Peter Viktor Wagner (MrWagner): One of the best escape game ever! The feeling was great, the enigmas are fun, also able to play in English. Thank you so much guys, it was my best experience with this kind of games so far. The staff is nice and helpful, keep calm even when we almost ruined the space 😜 This was a great start of my farewell party from the company I was working for years. You know... escape...
Martin Suess
Martin Suess: We did three rooms and were super happy with Nautilus and Alien vs Predator but really disappointed by the Egyptian Museum where the gamemaster (opposite to our previous experience there) was less than useful or friendly.I had to update the review from 5 to 3 because of the last room we did.
Andersen58
Andersen58: Cool place, Nice staff, fun games
Pieter-Jan Breyne
Pieter-Jan Breyne: Very bad costumer service. Played over 100 games and had never such unfriendly game master. Puzzles so-so. Much better games to find in Budapest!
Alexander Rapp Stiberg
Alexander Rapp Stiberg: Very fun rooms
Joshua Dunlop
Joshua Dunlop: Easiest escape room I’ve ever done, out in less than 30 minutes. Very disappointing group activity. Very little thought had gone into it.

Johnson Grey
Johnson Grey: Great game! Played Jurassic Escape with my children (6 & 11 yo) and they enjoyed it very much! Nice atmosphere and tricky puzzles!
k tt
k tt: We did the hunger games room, which was full of interesting unique puzzles and multiple rooms, we really enjoyed the game. However, it did feel very dated and a lot of the props seemed worn and old. Also the games master was very friendly, but there was times when we tried to get into contact, and had no reply for a few minutes which is annoying. If the rooms and props had a bit of a paint job and update, with better communication, it was easily get 5/5
Wendy Kruzger
Wendy Kruzger: Absolutely fantastic experience. We did the Jurassic & Avengers room, it was challenging but enjoyable. The staff were by far the highlight though, they were extremely friendly and enthusiastic. Would recommend to anyone visiting Budapest.
Response: Thank you for the evaluation, we are very glad that it was a good experience for you :))
Arsalan Yousaf
Arsalan Yousaf: We did the Game of thrones. It was quite good. Hosts are very friendly.

manea bogdan
manea bogdan: I strongly recommend this "locked room"in Budapest ,. I played here "Jurassic Park" and was amazing. The game master is nice and helpful. The difficulty is medium, and there are a lot of logical things. We really enjoyed this and see you next time.

Adelaida Fanfarová: We play Egyiptomi Kaland. Very good game, nice features. We have a lot of fun 👍
Response: Thank you for your review, we're glad you had fun with us :)
Madan A
Madan A: We tried both the Egyptian and Mozart one. The music the ambiance everything just clicks in this place. The Egyptian one the puzzles were pretty logical. And we had tons of fun escaping and there were all the things we needed. However note some of the pieces of the puzzles are quite worn out. They would be cheaper things to replace to be honest. Example : small pyramid triangle pieces.
Response: Thank you for the review, we really appreciate your feedback! We are glad you enjoyed our escape rooms, and hope to see you soon in our third one or at the treasure hunt!
zev snajder

Response: Thank you for the review!
András Csicsári
András Csicsári: It is cold in the Egypt rooms winter time, got cold. Bored staff does not care about you. It is only about the money now. It was way better a year ago.

Response: Thank you for your kind review, we're glad you enjoyed your time with us :)

Martina Biondo
Martina Biondo: We just did the secret subway room. It’s the best we ever done so far (and we did in Italy, France and Poland!). We were 2 and it was hard but excellent!! Super recommended and the guy at the reception is super friendly!!
S
S: Amazing — the two of us did the secret subway (75 mins, their most difficult one)A very impressive & immersive set with a great steampunk theme with original ‘modern’ puzzles. Very satisfying to solve & they aren’t ‘showy’ with their technology.
Muu
Muu: Really really very funny!!! Santa that one is really nice hhhhhh
Aliaksei Kirylchyk
Aliaksei Kirylchyk: Escape room is really cool, atmosphere and technology stack. But in the end you can pay only in cash, 12000 forints for two persons, but if you are paying in euro it becomes 40 euro (today 1 euro = 400 forints), nice exchange rate, isn’t it?
Response: Dear Aliaksei, we are very happy that you came and played our Secret Subway Room. We are especially glad that you liked it and enjoyed it. As you have experienced, we pay great attention to the little details. We're very sorry that you were only confronted with payment terms here at the end, and that this inconvenienced you. However, we must defend ourselves against criticism. Precisely to avoid similar cases, it is highlighted in the confirmation email - which everyone who books automatically receives - and on our website as well that only cash payment is accepted. We are an escape room, not an exchange office. Our prices in euros, which were set when the euro was still around 300 forints, are fixed, are displayed in our shop and cannot be adjusted daily or weekly to the current exchange rate. Unfortunately, due to the current economic situation, it is unlikely that our prices in euros will be reduced, but that we will be forced to increase our prices in forints. Thank you again for playing with us, and we hope to see you again in one of our other rooms that you haven't tried yet! Have a great day in Budapest! Sincerely, Szilárd, owner.
Thomas Le Guay
Thomas Le Guay: Great escape rooms! The themes are great and well used. We had a very good time with our game master who spoke English and was very friendly and welcoming
Timo T.
Timo T.: E-Exit is truly the leading company of Escape Rooms is Budapest. All rooms are made by the company themself and are full of creative new games with only very limited use of locks by using electronics in a very clever way which doesn’t interfere with the general theme of the room. I’ve played Santa Muerte, Heaven and Hell and Secret Subway. I can recommend each one of these rooms. For someone deciding to play these rooms I would suggest to do Secret Subway as the last one as this is really the highlight of the company and probably the best escape room available in Budapest. All rooms as suited for all levels, although Santa Muerte and Secret Subway are probably most enjoyable when some prior 3rd Generation Escape Room experience exists as these as requiring a lot of creativity and logical thinking to be solved.
Martin Suess
Martin Suess: The secret subway is my favorite escape room in Budapest hands down. It might not be the hardest but it got lots of riddles and rooms and the staff is super friendly and helpful. While we were there, the room was still fairly new but everything seemed to work flawlessly despite quite some complexity of the setup.
Chloe Sharp
Chloe Sharp: We did the Santa Muerte room. It was super original and the host was a funny guy.

Péter Hornung
Péter Hornung: PaniQ-Room has many escape rooms with great themes. The staff was also very helpful.
Response: Dear Péter, Thank you for the nice review! :) Hope to see you again soon, Best wishes, TEAM PANiQ
Alan Brown
Alan Brown: We ending up doing 4 rooms. All where excellent but Saw and Now You See Me were our favorites. Saw was really creepy and true to the film. NYSM not as close to the film but puzzles are orginal and make you think outside the box. Csenge, our game master, was great. She was very friendly and her English is perfect.
Response: Dear Alan! We are very happy that you liked our rooms, and Csenge too. Looking forward to have you back! Best regards, TEAM-PANiQ
CLASES CON HELENA
CLASES CON HELENA: I went with my partner to the escape room called THE REAL SAW, it was the worst experience and I strongly do not recommend it. First, there is no introduction for those who do not speak hungarian. Second, the music they were playing was nothing to do with the thematic of the escape room. The thing were really not clear to solve (and we have done a lot of escape rooms so far). Besides, the girl in charge did not help at all. We asked here some clues and she was always lost, she did not know what we have done or not, so in the end we could not solve almost nothing. To make it worse, when we finished I asked her if she could explain how to solve it, and she did not want to, because she was lazy to do it. If you can choose, you should do another escape room with another company as in Budapest there are really good ones
Tamás Gémes
Tamás Gémes: update: perfect medium level roomold review: it was not so hard (movie saw themed room)
Response: Dear Tamás, Our Saw room is a medium level room - which we marked on our website. If you would like to challange yourself, let's try our hardest room - the Predator one. We guarantee that you won't find it easy. Hope that can change your review. Best regards, TEAM-PANiQ
Meghan Andrews
Meghan Andrews: We showed up after scheduling an escape room, waited 15 minutes in the lobby, no one ever showed up to check us in so we left. Disappointing and obnoxious. We had an appointment its not like we were even walk ins.
Response: Dear Meghan! We are very sorry to hear that. Please contact us by e-mail (foglalas@paniqszoba.hu) because we would like to investigate what had happened. Please let us know when did you have booking and which room. We hope that we can find something to change your bad experience into a good one. Best wishes, Team PANiQ

B Builder
B Builder: First time in an escape room, so can only base my opinion from 1 experience. Metro was pretty cool, multiple events, can get a bit crowded with 6 people. Only recommendation would be to make the parts that require teamwork in a more English friendly way, extremely difficult to pronounce Hungarian words. Other than that, the staff was great, game master was helpful, and was an enjoyable experience.
Alex Somes Pinero
Alex Somes Pinero: Fantastic experience. We did Metro and found it to be very rewarding to complete! The challenges were very original and super fun. Boro the game master was so welcoming and friendly throughout the whole time. Will definitely be coming back as soon as possible.
Cody Ward
Cody Ward: Having done 77 escape rooms now, it takes a lot to impress us, but we were pleasantly surprised, and appropriately challenged, with Pablo Escobar’s room this morning. So much so that we returned tonight to do the Metro room, and had another great experience! Both Fanni and Lena were excellent game masters. Three cheers for them, for providing us with such a great time!
Megan Boyt
Megan Boyt: Fantastic escape room. We completed the Metro room and thought it was fantastic. Our game master Vicky was very welcoming and helpful. We will definitely be visiting again when we come back to Budapest.
Rosemary Svenson
Rosemary Svenson: I have visited this escape room with my gang of friends many times and have never been disappointed. The rooms are a fun challenge and are always decorated to the extreme! I’m telling you the level of detail here is *chef’s kiss* ASTOUNDING! If you’re looking for a fun activity to do with friends, look no further than here. If you’re unsure which room to pick, I’m sure that Csongor or any of the other helpful staff will be able to assist you. Thank you, Csongor! 😁
Natascha Behrens
Natascha Behrens: I am an experienced player. These rooms are high quality: immersion, logic, great waiting area, superb gamemasters. Our gamemasters name was Roland and he was just fantastic. He was friendly with a good sense of humour and always knew exactly when we needed help. We will come back!

Bianka Mürschberger: It was a great party! 5 of us played and everyone had fun. I especially liked the variety of tasks and the atmosphere of the rooms. We have been in escape rooms with 1-2 rooms, but luckily there were 4 rooms here. We have all been in several escape rooms and it was still enough of a challenge for us. We got out just ahead of time at 59 minutes! The game master was nice and the playing field was clean. Thank you for the experience.
Balázs Késes
Balázs Késes: We’ve been to many escape rooms already and we’re not disappointed with what’s written on the websites. Creative tasks, several parts of the room, with cunning passages: D, The playmaker was kind and helpful. We will definitely be back. I liked that there were several tasks we had never encountered before! We will be back! Thank You
Ákos Csókási
Ákos Csókási: The lady overseeing the game was extremely kind, telling us all the information we needed. We started the challenge with 5 people, the game was very exciting. It is worth breaking the team into several parts and working on several puzzles in parallel. We are grateful that we were allowed to walk through, we were able to complete the course in 65 minutes. 10/8 difficulty approx, I recommend it to everyone

Mystique Room: what do users think?
Lauma Z.
Lauma Z.: We (5 people) chose to do the “Magic Castle” room and it was a fantastic experience! The rooms were beautifully designed and highly interactive. The tasks were “just the right amount of” challenging - it took us exactly an hour to complete the room. The staff spoke English and were very friendly and helpful in giving instructions / hints. Would absolutely recommend!
Timi Szabó
Timi Szabó: We played at the Alice in Wonderland room and the interior design is amazing, really detailed and beautiful. Unfortunately the game experience is very poor. It is very hard to find clues and connect them to the puzzles, you can easily skip 3-4 steps and just go to the next room is you are lucky enough with randomly pushing buttons and stuff. There is no good flow and it is not logically built up. We got out but we did not enjoy the experience. There are so much better escape rooms in Budapest, I would recommend you to find those.
Alexander Fabian
Alexander Fabian: Hmm... room was little bit disappointing for us... was more a: look up for somerhing then real riddles or logical components. Only the design was really good. -》 pirate bay I will try the other rooms anyway.
Wong Beatrice
Wong Beatrice: Super great escape room🤩 We played 3 different theme rooms. The rooms are decorated in detail and we have so much fun. Also there are lots of secret hidden room and unexpected technology effect which makes the game more exciting! Highly recommend!!!
Bhagyashree Sandhaya
Bhagyashree Sandhaya: We were 7 people and booked the "kocka" room. The game master did not provide enough instructions in English before the game. Also, there was no starting clue. It was however, a fun game.
Tamara Naomi (taanomi)
Tamara Naomi (taanomi): I would say its the best escape room collection ive tried so far in Budapest! They have the traditional escape rooms in which you mostly solve riddles with locks, keys, numbers, maps etc. but also some newer ones with touch and magnet systems. I personally would recommend the traditional ones because its better for bigger groups because people can do things at the same time and it feels more rewarding to solve than the newer ones since I often felt just like a bystander or observer. The newer ones have better room theming/ more detailed and more effort builds tho! But i‘d still chose the traditional ones. My favorite one was the cathedral one! Employees speak english as well and are super friendly. Tips are also always found in english and hungarian. Very high quality and fair pricing!
Anna Lia S. Tromer Dragsdahl
Anna Lia S. Tromer Dragsdahl: We did the Game of Thrones escape room - it was very well decorated and cool, though not very challenging. A bit annoying, that some of the equipment sensors were very sensitive. Nice staff and you get a discount voucher for next game.
Reka Sebenne Darits
Reka Sebenne Darits: Nice aesthetic, challenging but doable tasks, good quality. We will definitely be going back
