Louai Khazaal: This is the first tailor I try in Budapest as an international student. I visited this shop to fix my jacket after being torn in the armpit area. At first, they fix it within a week, but the problem happened again in the same spot fixed. They were super nice to fix it one more time for free. This case repeated 3 times till I met Faraj (a tailor who works there). God how good he is, he suggested a different solution to fix this problem which worked super perfectly. I highly recommend asking for Faraj if you are searching for someone creative in his field. He speaks English, Arabic as well as Hungarian.

I selected 3 places, sent them an email and the first, most polite and prompt answer came from Géza. Géza is an artist and he will treat you like you deserve it. If you are looking for quality, good taste, prime quality materials and a friendly environment, you got it in Dress Me and You! I've already ordered 4 shirts, and expecting a 5th one, and Géza, promptly could, whenever I needed, even on my after office hours, supported me promptly as he could. As a perfectionist myself, I couldn't have chosen a better place from the first 3 that I previously selected and I have no regrets at all. Now that the trust is there, next step is a DMY suit...

Gergő Nagy-Mélykúti: I was looking for a place to make a suite for long time when one of my friends who is a clothes maker recommend them. They made a really nice job fitting the suit on me, it is very comfortable and breathes well. As far as I know the materials also a good quality but I am not an expert in the subject. They are more expensive than go into a shop but if you are not a collection size it worth the money to invest in a fine suit. Also you supporting local clothe makers and not only the fast fashion companies.

Henrique Barbone: Excellent menswear store, highly recommended. The soul of the business is bespoke tailoring, however if you are just visiting Budapest, you can also find a small but discerning selection of accessories and ready-to-wear clothes. Two highlights for me were: (1) all of the Petronius 1926 scarves and pocket squares. Petronius 1926 clothes are extremely difficult to find (apparently, they export a lot to Japan), and are of exceptional beauty and quality. (2) The Simon Skottowe label -- basically consists of perfectly made foundational pieces. I bought myself a pair of grey/brown flannel trousers, as well as one of their polo shirts, which have a very elegant wide collar inspired by the 1930's. Staff are very helpful and courteous.
dancingorca: The quick and the short of it: BEST bespoke tailor in Budapest. I first came to Simon with a plea for help. I had a vintage shearling jacket in desperate need of repairs. This was far from his area of expertise, but he tracked down somebody who could help me and made the necessary introductions. The next time I came to him, it was with a suit and a tuxedo that I needed tailored for my wedding. Simon is a bespoke tailor; he doesn't do alterations, but, nevertheless, he helped me and made sure I was perfectly suited at the altar. Simon and his helpful staff have time and time again gone out of their way to help me, even though my requests have fallen outside of business as usual for them. They will, without a doubt, be my first port of call when I am ready for a bespoke suit. I HIGHLY recommend you visit Simon if you are looking for a top-shelf suit and, of course, for a top-shelf customer experience as well.

Jake B: Repaired a 5cm tear in my black cotton pants in under 30 minutes for 1500 Ft. Offered to message me when finished. You can also track the status online. Employees are attentive. They speak good English. Store located on the lowest floor (underground), near McDonald's and NewYorker. Stop thinking, just take your clothing there now. Update: Over a 1-year period, I've been here multiple times. 3 repairs and 2 pants tailorings. The service is outstanding. Like a restaurant with an open kitchen, you can see their small setup in the back. Other business owners in Budapest should learn from this place. + Repaired another small hole in same pants + Repaired 2 holes in sweatpants + Tailored/fitted the legs on same sweatpants + Tailored/fitted the legs on another pair of pants The day this place closes, the Danube will flood and overflow with tears of sadness.

Szintia Harmath: We regularly go to the Arena with our clothes. We love it very much, the ladies there are very kind and helpful and have been able to solve everything so far. We were redirected to the shop in Westend regarding an embroidery. We've been here once before. The same lady worked as she does today. I don't know if the business hasn't gone bankrupt yet. I clearly remember the last time, as he said this time too, that the situation could not be resolved. He called his colleagues saying that we don't know how to do this, we can't solve this. After the first sentence, I knew that he not only couldn't, but actually didn't want to help. Of course, just like the last time, we left upset and upset, and for sure we will never go to that store again! My negative review is not directed at the company, as the service they have come up with is great, but the work ethic and attitude of their Westend employee is unqualified. Fortunately, the situation is different in the Arena, and we will continue to be their customers.

I would especially like to emphasize his flexibility, since I live abroad for the rehearsals, it was not easy for us to arrange an appointment. I asked for help twice, I got half-sentence, one-word answers e.g. No, it's there, already in nins collection. So much for that. The store itself is well equipped, clean and tastefully decorated. I'm going to go too, but now I know who to ask if I want to leave a few thousand there.

Gergő Bacsó: I called them on Monday because I couldn't find a t-shirt with a specific pattern that I would like to give away at the weekend. They helped me readily, and then informed me that the product would definitely be out by Friday, starting from the order, so don't worry. Compared to that, I already received the shirt on Wednesday, so they work very quickly. I can only evaluate its quality later, for now everything went smoothly. :) I'm just hoping that the size will be right.
