Cinema City Simple IMAX Arena: what do users think?

Vitri Vit: This cinema has movies in English version/ subtitle, just perfect for me who doesn’t speak the local language

Csaba Garaguly: Went for VIP, unlimited variety of food, staff is cool, and comfortable chairs

Esther Nagy: Your average Hungarian shopping mall cinema experience. Good sound and picture quality, comfy chairs. Snacks are good, staff is neutral. Poor selection of original language movies but it’s a common problem in Hungary.

Roland Dávid Dudás: Theather itself is great , wild variety of movies but the nachos and sausces are terrible and there is more than 25 minutes of advertisement block before the movie.

The Shaykistaan: Nice location 👍. There is no 3d in English. Only 2d available for English user.3D available for Hungarian 😂

Reanorio: Great and big Cinema City. They usually got original language movie room with magyar subtitles or not.

Urania National Film Theater: what do users think?

Renaro Santos: Beautiful place! Nice architecture and comfortable seats

Andrew Vasilyev: A very atmospheric place!

umair butt: I was there for stretch leadership conference. There is a big main hall for speeches/movies and first floor is reserved for neteorking events. Its a great place in terms of artistic beauty. Food was pretty awsome. The staff was very friendly.

Rossma Gonzatti: Beautiful and impressive building, outside and inside, we were there to see some Spanish film movies, as they programmed festivals of good films. But it is unbelievable how bad is the cafeteria on the upper floor. Expensive, few things to offer, the service is bad as well. Such a shame, with such a wonderful place to be.

Balázs Horváth: One of the best old-school cinema in Budapest.

Gergely Szabó: Very nice opulent movie theater, with great programmes like art documentaries

LadyNavia: Huge, classical, good view from every angle, I love it. 😊

Anna Kasznár: Nice place for a conference too. I attended Reinforce conf here

Andrea Deme: One of the best art movies of Budapest, must visit if you are up for an old school real movie experience in a beautiful building.

serena coady: While I did not end up having the time to see a film during my stay, the older woman at the box office was so very kind, friendly, and helpful. She showed me all the English films I could watch (there were many on offer, if you were wondering), and took such good care. Thank you!

Esther Nagy: Staff is great. Good sound and picture. Charming building. Low prices.

Benedek Nyomárkay: Art movie theater. Nice interior. Movies in original language

Eva Bonomolo: Comfortable movie theatre playing great films.

David B: Spacious hip bar and arthouse cinema. Bar staff speaks English, good selection of drinks and reasonable prices.

Zsófi Vass: Excellent as a club and as a movie theather :)

Tamás S: Art cinema - as one can expect really good movies, away from the mainstream. The interior creates a good atmosphere showing resemblance to an old pub. There is service and a couple of tables so you can grab a sandwich and a beer or coffee white waiting or discuss the movie afterwards.

Ehsan F: Always you can find European and Asian movies screening. Nice place to gather with artistic atmosphere!

Frido Herinckx: Nice cinema with frequent English language movies, subtitled in Hungarian. Nice bar and atmosphere.

András Tóth: A great place for first run movies or just chilling with some friends for a drink.

Wojtek W: Very comfortable chairs 🙂 and the price for a ticket not drain your wallet 👍

Bro Freddy TV: Nice, clean, good films and Pop-corn 😅👍❤💯 Luv it.

Cinema City Allee: what do users think?

Nikolett Nagy: Easy to access by public transport. Friendly service. Comfortable (old school) seats. The sound of the film we watched was very loud though.

Damon Ferrara: Large, clean theater with a lot of original-language programming.

Kolos Kopcsai: Customer focus is zero. We have made an unfortunate mistake when ordering tickets, zero flexibility at 3 min after purchase - sad they are a monopoly …

Toncho Tonchev: It is great when you can find a good new move in English and without subtitles in Hungarian. And yes the chairs are comfortable;)

Yelyzaveta Romanova: I am so dissapointed with 30 min commercial. This is my personal time and I count on it very much, so I think, that guests really need to be warned about it or paid for their time. This is very disrespectful behavior, especially for a 9:30pm session

Agota Szabo: Apart from the 15 minutes of trailers before the movie everything was perfect. The seats are very comfortable, the screen was huge, sound and picture quality excellent!

Tim Emerson: They show English movies with Hungarian subtitles frequently. Very nice for the expat population. Staff has always been pleasant. An appropriate level of cleanliness that is expect.

Dave H: A fairly cosy foyer, but having watched a film you have to exit into a ratherbland clinical corridor with no toilets - crazy

Kirthana: The theater seats are very comfortable, that gives a pleasant experience. There is a cafe available for you to grab along some hot drinks. Theatre ambience both inside and outside is nice.

Eugene: Clean environment, fresh popcorn, good fun. Also many useful shops there

Cirko Gejzír Movie Theater: what do users think?

Kiss Roland: Very nice, quaint place with the cinema experience at the forefront of everything they are doing. Comfortable and fabulous experience. Will follow to see what they are showing, an amazing cultural experience.

Ioana Cristina Serban: A little art cinema in a very nice district of Budapest. The movies are in original language with Hungarian subtitles.

Miklós Szabó: Very small cinema with niche art-movies, which makes it magical

Gábor Debrei: A decent little art movie. Always like to watch movies there. Kind staff.

Václav Šindýlek: Amazing place with a great movie atmosphere! :-)

Mizsei Anett: Cosy small movie theatre with a very friendly atmosphere and a variety of European movies. A real cultural space, so if you need something beyond the popcorn-s(m)elling huge cinemas, it is for you. Stricter house rules (no eating during movies) and very diverse, colorful guests.

Zoltan Varallyay: Very good selection of films are played here. Art movies. Usually with original language and Hungarian subtitles. Very good point! If you are thirsty however you will have to buy something somewhere else. Same for any kind of snacks. Only you can get some water here or hot water with a tea filter.

Jamie Coia: Great little art theatre. Charming.

Zoltan Szalai: A nice cinema with excellent picture and sound quality. Very friendly staff. Quality snacks and drinks in the buffet, expect long queues though.

Gabor Talabos: Spacious, not too comfy chairs (+190cm)

Gyöngyi Légrádi: Nice, big, clean, kind staff, comfy chairs

Gergely Murányi: Same as most of them. In case you prefer the English speaking movies you should rather try the ALLEE since they provide more. They quality is just like all of the cinemas part of this network.

Pál Zoltán Illés: Nice, the usual Cinema vibe.. kind personnel. In the 3d movie, surround sound was missing for one movie, which was strange.

Sasho Velinov: So nice low cost

Zoltán Boross: There was limited capacity for rest rooms after late night film

Katalin Juhász: Avatar

Osiris Piszter: Great place, nice service and they renewed the outside area! Price is okay for the place.

Péter Juhász: Short waiting time, clean toilet, fast ticket service

Művész Cinema: what do users think?

Mekintoš Larja: This is a 100+ years old cinema that you have to visit. Movies are also shown with Hungarian subtitles. Would recommend. Very affordable ticket prices.

Bogi S: A unique looking cinema with small, comfortable screens, a bar and snacks available, and a dvd lending library. Love the choice of films and there are always plenty of international options with Hungarian subtitles instead of dubbing.

Kamilla Boldog: Great place with even better movies. The each room where they are playing the movies are different and never the same. I just love it, every time I can go there. Staff is also very kind and friendly.

Lévay .Petra: This contemporary art cinema has its own vibe. Strongly suggest to visit!

Janos Veller: Nice place, a bit retro style, but good movies and you can watch them with subtitles here. Also good place to just meet and chat.

Piia Õunpuu: Cosy cinema showing local Hungarian movies and international art house movies with hungarian subtitles (so not dubbed!). The price of the ticket is quite cheap and it can easily be bought before the screening. The website is also easy to navigate and check, which movies are on when. Recommend!

Ye In Oh: One of Budapest’s cool art cinema that is most accommodating for its English speaking audience with their English subtitles. You can chill in the artsy lounge as well

Itay Fruchter: Cosy vintage cinema. One of few places in Budapest where you can watch films in their original language. Great atmosphere. Wonderful feeling of time travel

Laure Van Aken: Saw a few movies here. Good selection of artsy and current movies. We were able to see movies in english with subtitles. The chairs were comfortable. I enjoyed the look and feel of the place which has a very old school vibe.

Cinema City Westend: what do users think?

Stas Bukhman: I booked tickets for me and my 7 y.o. kid. When i came to a cashier they demanded a proof that my kid is entitled for a schoolboy discount. It is ridiculous, you could see that the kid is a school age. But this is not the end, when i showed them a scan of a his school card they demanded the original! I think they are just mocking foreigners. The name of unreasonable cashier lady was Viktoria, but her manager was not smarter either. So i tell you a life-hack. You step aside and buy these tickets from mobile phone, selecting your discount from there. No one checks it! What a waste of time...

Richard Nagy: CinemaCity is now becoming a serious ripoff. Not only do I have to pay for the tickets AND watch advertisements after the start time, but the prices are fake on their website and they charge extra fees per seat which is not included. Only after choosing the tickets and seats does the "convenience fee" get added. Which is absolutely ridiculous.

Faisal Gohar: One of The best Cinema in Hungary. 4D experience is amazing, moving chairs, air, smoke, all takes you to another level in movie experience.

John German: Quality of the cinema is good, service is also good. The only 4DX cinema in the city. The only problem are the roaches in the toilets.Despite this they deserve the 5 star.

i pm: Excellent movie theater. Very comfortable, great sound and picture.

Hegedu Peter - vid.: nice place. good vibes... Corona measures controlled 100% 👍

Bem Cinema: what do users think?

Szonja Orbán: Bar area has a nice atmosphere and has decent prices. Always a good time! Cannot wait to check out the cinema part.

Vlada: A great cinema with classic movies in English! The bar offers a variety of drinks and I do recommend it buy the bottled beer as it’s cheaper than draft!

Mátyás Cserny: Cozy cinema with amazing movie selection.Great bar to enjoy a drink as well. Some meals are available.

David B: Pub and arthouse cinema with beer on tap, decent variety of drinks. Can get busy on weekends and on movie nights.English speaking staff and movies usually in original language.

Oli us: Cool place with an added cinema. Lot of peeps can be found here along with some nice drinks.

Nick Bateman: Can’t comment on the cinema itself but the bar was cosy and delightfully shabby. It’s a cool spot to sit outside and watch the world go by. As per usual, don’t expect service with a smile.

kxu 936: Excellent classic movie selection in original language and subtitles! Fair prices, surprising snack and drink variety. A well-thought-out place. My only complaint is that the screen is a bit difficult to watch because the chairs are almost on the same level. Other than that, it would be 5 stars.

karen davies: Nice pub, love the film posters

Karolina Tóth: What a lovely experience! Very cool, dive-like vibes. Great nachos, great fröccs. Bartenders are also friendly. There is one cinema hall, but you should also check in if only for a couple drinks with friends. There is also a rule to only bring in bottled beer to the hall but you can also take other drinks if you ask for a to go cup, rather than a glass one. Prices were also very reasonable. Great time overall.
