Ale: Asked for a designed with a transparent base and showed the design in advance to the nail artist which confirmed she could do it. Since I’m not a nail artist and I don’t know what kind of products do they use I wasn’t sure why my nails were white instead of transparent… when I asked the reason why they claimed that the base is dark and not transparent and if I wanted a different base I should have told them in advance. I complained explaining that it’s not my job to tell the artist how to do her job and they told me that for the next time I should be more specific. They never offered a discount nor even an apology… actually they were making fun of me on their language between them. Brilliant service! ☺️

Katalin is a perfectionist and my nails have always lasted 3 weeks without chips. They use high quality European ingredients and you can definitely tell the difference! I highly recommend this place. ri f: I went to take my old coat off get a manicure and put new coat on. The girl didn’t take my old gel coat fully off, then put another coat of new gel on top. This is the first time i saw anyone ever do this , i got my nails done countless times in different places and different countries and everyone has taken my old gel off fully.I got extensions on one of the nails it is rough on the inner side of the nail and that one nail is crooked compared to other nails. another nail had gel falling off since it was a month old and she saw it , yet didn’t remove the old coat fully and she just put gel over it and 2 days later the gel started falling off and the nail started breaking . i showed the design i wanted asking if it’s okay if we do this and the girl said we could do it but it turned out completely different .took like 2 hours as well. The girls are nice and smiley , welcoming but no one can speak any language other than hungarian there so it was hard to communicate ,but that is just a personal problem since i don’t speak hungarian.

Paula Martins: DISAPPOINTING!!! I ve just moved to this area and got excited when I found what it seemed like a decent place to get my nails done. However, after booking according to their availability on their website, I received an email several hours later saying that they do not take new guests... 🤷♀️ I just needed a 45 mins manicure but well, I have to find another place... Update: this woman claims she works alone and sometimes cannot take new guests. However, when I asked her if I could go another day, she said no. She wrote she was not taking new guests. So yeah, new guests seem not to be allowed in here.
Borbála Szilágyi: It works with the online booking system, which makes booking an appointment super easy. I am a beginner when it comes to gel polish, but he patiently explained everything. My nails are beautiful. I recommend!

Marta Pisani: The girls are all very nice, from welcoming to taking care of your nails. I showed the girl a picture and she made it beautifully! I was served by Csilla, and even tho we didn’t speak the same language she was very careful with my needs and made my time pleasurable. I bite my nails a lot and they were very short, made them come out amazingly, and now I’m super confident. Definitely be back!

Anesu Mhene: I was excited to try MeNails because of the good reviews but was extremely upset following the service I received. I had booked Csilla to do a gel removal & manicure and from the beginning it was evident she did not want to serve me. After removing my gel polish she called the manager and told her that I have a ‘bacterial nail infection’ and that she could not paint my nails. I was shocked as I get my nails done every 3 weeks at MeNails Budapest and this was the first time I had ever heard of such an issue. The manager was very polite but I was made to feel like I was disgusting when really there is nothing wrong with my nails (I have a family friend who is a doctor that checked). I’m not sure what the real reason they refused to service my nails is, whether it is prejudiced or not, but I would not recommend this establishment to anyone. Save your money and go somewhere where they treat you with respect no matter what you look like. I have attached a picture of my “infected nails” Csilla claimed she “could not paint”. Scarlet Cornejo Tejeda: I did my nails 2 days ago there and my nails are already falling out completely or having small breakages around them. The girl probably was having drinks before our appointment cause I could felt it sometimes and it took her 3 hours, it was an almond shape gel nail short and French style, even the style is not that good. My nails are uneven when you want to feel them on the top because she filled them too much a d on the sides before painting them you could see how they were already breaking themselves. I paid more than I normally do, I heard that it was an amazing place but my experience wasn’t pleasant at all and I’m really sorry cause they were nice while having talks with me. Too long, not a nice job and I lost money and 3 hours of a day.
Kelly Souvanna: My nail tech was literally the best!!!! I forgot to ask her name but I told it to her! I went to a lot of nail salons in my life and never have I ever met a nail tech that could care for what she was specifically doing to me.. A PERFECTIONIST ! However, her coworker that took the reservation didn’t book the right service for me or my friend but she was really nice and she fortunately had time for me since their schedule can be tight. Caroline Fazakas: This review is about the customer service as I am really impressed with how this salon handled my situation today. I had a manicure done by a newer staff member and I wasn’t satisfied with it. I returned to the salon and spoke to a more senior staff member who was very understanding of my situation and my frustration, and without hesitation was able to arrange a refund. I have found it can generally be difficult to get refunds in private businesses in Hungary, but the staff here were really professional and they took my dissatisfaction seriously which I think really shows the high standard of the salon and it’s staff generally. I cannot judge the salon based on one manicure there, which is why I’m writing this review to say that although my first experience wasn’t entirely satisfactory, because of the way my situation was handled, and because I did my research prior to booking the appointment and saw that this salon was reputable, I actually would go back here for a manicure (if I had time), but would book with one of the staff members I spoke to today. So thank you to those staff members today that I spoke to, for providing your great customer service to a tourist, and in English. Service: Manicure
Anélie Duvivier: I just had a my nails (Shellac) done by Mercedes and I am really satisfied of the result. My nails are well cut and the nail polish really neatly put on. I recommend this salon and in particular Mercedes warm heartedly. She also speaks perfect English ;)

Mariam Kakkar: Ladies are super professional and very qualified .. have been very happy with their service. A few months ago stopped going after booking an appointment and waiting over half an hour being told they were running later. After 40 min I left. Tried it again two weeks ago and loved my pedicure ( at the new hotel). Well went back today but never again. Booked online and was left waiting over 35 min and would have been another 10 to clean up after the other client and realized it’s just really bad customer service and they are much better salons out there with better customer service. Too bad because the girls are nice and professional but won’t ever go back again. Service: Pedicure

Bettina Bakos: I‘ve been visiting the Salon in the last couple of months, and I m beyond satisfied. I used to be super picky and only go to one specific person, but because of moving I needed to find someone new. That‘s how I found Csaba. He is experienced, professional, always gentle with my nails and I love the quality. My gel nails last at least for 3-4 weeks without any breaks and his french manicure is so perfectly precise. The atmosphere is very calming, and all the employees here are so kind, even though I do not speak any Hungarian. arcmasszazs arcmasszazs: The store is nice, with a large selection, but unfortunately for the second time I visited, the seller recommended the wrong product. Or the product itself is not of good quality. I bought transparent nail polish twice and both products came off the nail the next day. Unusable. PS: I took the product back to the store, which was offered, and I received advice on how to use it, but unfortunately I still experienced the same thing afterwards.
