Rock's New & Used CDs, LPs Deal: what do users think?

Antti Seppälä: One of my favorite record shops in Budapest. Has got a good selection of Hungarian and international music in CD and vinyl formats. Sells new and used records. I was especially glad to find lots of used CD singles on the shelf.

Barney Stathakis: Staff not helpful at all and when I asked about some Lps they were just snatched from my hands and put aside and I was then left alone while staff went to the storeroom without helping me at all I would have spent $300+ on Lps that day I left feeling very disappointed. I’ll never return to that store ever.

Trail: Amazing place, amazing selection, amazing staff. Would recommend!

John Heaton: Very rude unhelpful owner…avoid

Nardai Dani: Large selection . New and used LP, Cd with plenty to offer. Less organized, bulk, time should be spent “rummaging”. The seller is fair, helpful.

Ermi Mirek: It is one of the old and still operating music stores in Budapest. Large selection of CDs and vinyl. Location of curiosities, rarities, extra editions, boxes. They also order unique things, only your wallet sets limits. A store with an exemplary mentality and attitude.

peter palyov: There are very good records, in a large selection, at fair prices, with a high level of expertise!

Lemezkuckó CD Store: what do users think?

Miguel Rviz: One of the best récord shops in Budapest with good prices

Tofipok: Awesome little nook in the city.

Zsolt Fabian dr.: Great place to find vintage or rare vinyls, tapes or CDs. A genuine timemachine back to the 60s, 70s or 80s. But be prepared you will not escape in a half an hour...

B KAZ: It was great in the Lorna shore video.

Konngeman: Large store, but messy. For me it was rather expensive and the seller was not into negotiation.

Eddie Sweeney: Ok selection. All old. No modern music. Friendly staff. Relaxed atmosphere. Very reasonably priced. Picked up two records.

Bachmann Stefan: Nice Shop with vinyl, CD and DVD. 2nd hand. Good pricing and a good selection of Hungarian rock music

Saszet Szilárd: The best vinyl store I have ever seen, over 10.000 vinyl, a lot of cds, casettes and dvds, you can also listen to the music. Recommend to everyone

musicland: what do users think?

David Armstrong: This is an amazing record store. Great value. Thanks to Peter for giving me a discount and letting my coat dry....

Cansu Kirindi: They have got a very vast collection of CDs; I was able to find some rare ones here, and the prices were reasonable too. Highly recommended.

avee: For me, Musicland is the best record store in Budapest. Imagine a shop with an entire rack of Record Store Day releases — aside from the combination of old and new vinyl. The guys at the counter are friendly, helpful and know their music. I bought a Porcupine Tree LP that I have been looking for.... for ages.

JOSE ALBERTO FUENTES: Everything perfect.Shop assistants recommended me some records which I finally bought.Very kind treatment and good vibe!!

Olympus Urban-Walkers: A great record store in Budapest. Pop / Rock / Indie and a lot of vinyl records - new items / second hand.

Roland Elekes: very nice and kind staff, not to mention their collection!

Ben Barrett: Excellent selection of new and 2nd hand vinyl records. Lots of interesting alternative finds. Nice space. Could spend a lot of time here!

dafneey sun: HORRIBLE MUSIC SHOP!! I’ve bought an LP, i couldn’t listen it in the shop because it was from Hungary. It wasn’t the same LP from the album, they have put another one (completely different) inside! LADRI!

Wave: what do users think?

Ben McTaggart: Fantastic record store; we could do with a few stores of this quality in Australia. Loved the selection of music, enthusiastic owner and some cool rarities.

Torpenyi Oliver: Wide range of vinyl records and CDs in the downtown of Budapest. Alternative, post-punk, punk, hardcore, rock, jazz, Hungarian releases, folk and ethno music, new and second hand goods. Friendly staff. Worth to visit for collectors.

Kristóf Jávor: There are lots of LPs here, one of the best vinyl store I have visited in Budapest.

Makar “Radioreley”: Great vinyl store with mostly modern and new products. Wide range of genres and popular bands.

Jan Hablak: Great guy in the store. Very knowledgeable. Spoke English, Slovak, and Hungarian 👍

Rafal: Been to a couple of records stores and this one by far is my favourite the owner is very nice talkative and knowledgeable about music .. highly recommend it to everyone

walkwithdeath: Small record store with a lot of soul and history. The owners are very nice and always up for a chat!

Headbanger Ltd.: what do users think?

Nesa Kov: Small but very nice metal merch shop. The guy that works is very nice and pollited. I am very satisfied. My Recommendation. 👍🏻

Kathy McCandless: Good choices of t-shirts etc. Found prices fluctuated depending on what appeared to be desirable.

nobodxy: Nice little shop. Ask tbe shopkeep for his catalog not everything is "on display" has an online store too[sadly only ships to Hungary and slowakia for some reason] .. But by cthulhu the prices are good we got 4 shirts and 3 patches for around 60 € which is less than half of what we would pay where we live. Tl/dr: good prices, good service, good selection

Bogdan Gligor: Nice shop with a high degree of variety. It sells t-shirts, badges, pins, flags, etc. Prices a little high though.

Gavin Brenes Dutch: Nice small store devoted to heavy metal. Good selection of vinyls, tshirts and other metal paraphernalia.

jamart pascal: Great shop. Very sympatic boss

Kostas E.: Big selection of Hungarian music of all kinds but no English spoken and unfriendly staff.

Gábor Bárczai: Really good

Jozef Podhorný: Awesome place

Eszter Fanni Kulcsár: I have ordered many albums from Rock Discount and I have not been disappointed yet. In a few days, they acquired the albums I had selected and shipped them out quickly. I can only recommend. 5* :)

Judit Majorosné Vasvári: Such a deal is very rare. An absolutely retro experience. Can we return to the experiences of our age group, with an owner whose work is perhaps his hobby? This is the place for rockers over 50 :)

Gábor László Töttős: The administration was fast and smooth, the goods - also thanks to the careful packaging - of impeccable quality. And the delivery was fast and courteous. Thank you for your efforts: dr. Gábor Töttós, Szekszárd.

sskgbr: A very nice place (not only because of the street). :-) Fast, accurate, correct partners. I can only recommend. The online store is also okay, and they are also helpful in person. Tuti is a place.

Balint Lazar: Fast, easy online payment, very fast delivery, with a courier option (the next day of the order). Excellent!

Kalóz Records: what do users think?

Laura Gomez: Very nice record store with wide variety of music. I’ve found good gems of House and Disco! The staff was helpful I am giving 3 stars because there’s not a turntable where you can listen to the vinyl… and this killed my vibe 😰.. yes I could check on my phone but is not the sam! nowadays where you can get everything at your fingertips in-store shopping should be a GOOD EXPERIENCE , if I wanted to check online music I would had stayed at my hotel.

catia nobrega: The most interesting record store in Budapest with a fine selection of music spawning to a lot of genres. Here I finally found a gem that I was looking for quite some time. 💎 Also had great recommendations on 70s Hungarian heavy/psych rock from the owner who was kind enough to guide me through some facts while listening to the records. Unfortunately I didn’t managed well my last hours in Budapest and didn’t had the time to go back the day after like I promised. But definitely will someday!

mich.k: Loads of stuff. Pink Floyd, AC/DC, Beatles, rock, jazz… wide range of prices depending on year, publisher and quality. Don’t expect super new aged stuff.

Milan Dedera: The best shop in Budapest i have visited. Friendly stuff, very good knowladge on Eastern European rare grooves and much more to dig in crates!

Jernej Grošelj: First time in Budapest, first time in Kalóz and booom....I found a gem.

Victor Sacaleanu: Very few new reissues.Interesting choices for different tastes
