Sugar! Design Confectionery and Candy Store: what do users think?

Snir M.: We were excited to see this place and had some expectations. This place is nice, but mostly gimmicky and not worth a a special visit. If you were nearby, it could be nice to see it. But other candy stores offer better collections of products.

Antoine: Cakes are very good, but most importantly : the macarons are of the finest quality. Having been raised in France, these challenge most of the ones you can find in Paris, even some of the Ladurée shops. The Nutella ones are a bit too much, but the rest is very delicate.

peanutbutternjelly •: Very pretty shop but nothing special. If you happen to pass by it’s nice to look at but don’t go out of your way to go here. Candy was a little overpriced for what your getting. The younger employees seemed nice but the women who i think was the owner seemed to be rather unfriendly towards me and in general.

Marija: the lemon cake had to much flavour. Not sure if it is arificial but it feels that way maybe just tone it down a bitThe other one, i think was blackbeary, the sponge is a bit to dry, but the poppy-blackbeary combination is very good

Csaba Szabó: Sugar! Is a very upscale, trendy and joyful confectionary with an emphasis on sugary sweet cake and mignons. While non-added sugary products are also available together with some fun memorabilia and rarer for-the-region (american) sweets, they stand out with their self-made products. If you go here you MUST check out the bathroom. The whole place is designed like it’s straight out of candy crush or sth.

Zorka Herczeg: Amazing place, we fell in love, the real childhood dream came true!😍😍you can buy a lot of different kind of 🍭🍬🍫the cakes and pies were absolutely amazing!!

Romana Zálešáková: The cakes were the most delicious, but I was so disapointed with the upper part of the shop, the tables and menus were not clean. The only thing I loved about the upper part were the toilets- clean and super stylish. Despite a bit of negative things, I have to say, I enjoyed my stay there.

Tibor Kaczur: Cakes, sugar, shakes, sweets whatever you want, name it. Sugar rush is on!

Avi Ghelman: Loved it. A lot of sugar....

The Pirate Sweets Shop: what do users think?

Swizz office: The range of sweets is quite okay but if you are a licorice lover you will be disappointed. I found a kind of licorice strap. The staff was friendly.

Jair Naranjo: Quite pricey and very bland taste. I was expecting fully flavoured candies but they seem pure sugar...

ליאת גנדלר: Nice candy shop.Had a variety of candy

Dor s: Very good candies, the service was good and fast, the variety of the candies was good also, altough the price was a little bit high.

Igor Mijanović: Sooooo much candy 😍😍😍Definitely check out. You will not be dissapointed.

Sara Vlastelica: The sweets are nothing special but they are super expensive and the shop is not hygienic there were wasps and flies on the candy, all in all it is a scam.

Igor Filipović: Cool place to stop by. A bit expensive 🍬

Ola: Oh yeaa..once you go inside the smell fulfills all your senses.. they have good variety of candy, and a lot of gluten free option, which is really good. I think its overpriced, for a small pack I paid 10 euros, so be careful when you are filling your bag. The lady serving there is a bit rude, another customer asked a question twice she was talking in a rude way to him

Νικόλ Δημουλά: AVOID DISGUSTING !!!! We went inside the place and huge GREEN FLIES where all over the candies! It was disgusting! It is so dangerous especially with their eggs can cause you poisoning! How irresponsible of them having all these candies unprotected!

yohayw: It’s looks nice and a lot of options but wow it’s super expensive

Stühmer Édességbolt: what do users think?

Anna F: This store is quite big compared to the others. I was there one week before Christmas and they ran out of most of the Xmas bonbons, which was quite a bummer. Their staff is friendly.

Martin J.: A great Hungarian traditional candy shop - which I believe goes back to 1868. Chocolate is their speciality - but they also have marzipan, cookies, cacoa, coffee, desserts, liquour candies, etc. Their beauty is that they can combine their products into wonderful care packages that you can give as gifts to your local Hungarian friends - they will be impressed. Of course keep some for yourself - as they are so yummy.

Kim Tulypan: Beautiful. Pleasant staff. Highly recommend. Close to shopping and sites

fazekas agnes: Quality, delicious Hungarian chocolates, also palmoilfree! The salesgirls was also very nice!

Charles Huber: This is the place to go if you want great Hungarian chocolate. Stühmer is one of the oldest and the best chocolate houses in Hungary. Quality look and contents!

Reuss Gabriella: Great coffee. Prices of Stühmer products (divine: even milk chocolate has 45% cocoa content!) are significantly lower than in other (e.g.chocolate) shops.

Dave Scott: Popped in for a coffee. Presentation was fantastic as well as the coffee.

Szidónia Antal: Best Hungarian chocolate, an amazing sugar-free range too.

Daniel Bardos: Boxed and loose bonbons. Delicious chocolate. Helpful staff you can ask for gift packaging.

Nwankiti Ikenna: Nice and helpful staff..cool chocolate collection with cool prices..totally recommend

EndorFine Csokoládéüzlet - Chocolate Shop: what do users think?

Katherine T: HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone. I thought the experience itself was wonderful. I think it’s been the best experience I’ve had shopping for chocolate. The owner was working and he is very knowledgeable and extremely passionate about chocolate. I am a visiting from out of the country and he took his time explaining the different kinds of chocolate and helping me pick out what I would like best. There is a ton of variety of high quality chocolate. The chocolate was incredible! It’s great that I can bring back some Hungarian chocolate to my family.

Maik Wendt: Have been here a few days ago. Very fine chocolate, bought some for myself and my wife and some as souvenirs. The shop offers chocolate made in hungary same as international chocolate. The explanations and informations were top notch, the shop owner took a lot of time to explain several types of chocolates. Would come again, am sadly far, far away now :-) Can only recommend!

Issam Khele: It is really a great experience. Even though it is a small shop, but the owner can make the variety wide enough, and for sure you can find the best quality of chocolate in budapest in it. Lovely, and the best choice.

Marcell Németh: The finest selection of chocolates you can find. If you want to know more about chocolate this is a perfect place to start your journey.

Dániel Győrffy: They have a good selection of equisite and high quality chocolates, like raw chocolate. It definitely worth the time to check it out!

Tamas Mayer: Great location, very friendly service and a good selection of chocolate, a little more illumination might help the customers

yağmur kutlar: nice chocolats...for gift you can visit this lovely shop

Eziz Nerchayev: Best shop for gift chocolates with good stuff

Gamer: Nice variety of chocolates and very good service.

Chocolate Rózsavölgyi: what do users think?

Authentic Experience: Chocolate as a material is particularly inspiring. They at Rózsavölgyi Csokoládé use traditonal processes and pure ingredients to achieve the most natural flavours and apply detailed yet contemporary designs to create a memorable experience - a true piece of art.

DEEIN Park: First. The staff was super friendly who has calm voices it was very impressive it make me calm with happy Various chocolate you can see and buy it with beautiful package I bought this chocolates for my friends kids They were really really like this and kissed my cheek too Thanks a lot :)

judit osvart: The store is very small, but worth the wait if you can not immediately get in. This is the shop of the best chocolate manufacture in Hungary - many of their products has won international awards. Apart from the taste, packagings are also exceptional (and won design awards on their own, too). The shop organizes workshops as well, in their small factory in the 22. district - ask staff if you are interested! You can also buy 1 piece of bonbon, too, but also a huge box of chocolate... great gifts!!!

J. W. H.: Lovely little chocolate boutique that sells artisanal chocolate bars and pralines made from single origin cocoa beans. Packaging is whimsical and cute. Quality of products is very good, offering something for every taste, may it be traditional dark chocolate or a bar flavoured with Japanese matcha. Items are ideal for gift giving or treating oneself to a delectable indulgence.

Your Helpful Wendy: Locator in the middle of the street of the gorgeous city of Budapest this chocolate store has a delicacy chocolates. The service was outstanding and the flavors, colors, and presentation which chocolate beyond amazing.

Vivien Töreki: Quality handmade chocolate and bonbons, made with special materials and unique designs. We usually buy chocolate here for special occasions.

Luca Bravo (Breiv7): wonderful!many little chocolates with unique tastes :)kind girl inside

Nick Rowan: Amazing artisan chocolate maker, reviving a craft that had died off in Hungary. Single origin, ethically sourced cacao. Friendly and passionate about the products and industry. Subtle, harmonious flavours. Delicious and well worth seeking out if you want some of the best chocolate in Hungary

roderick van de Ven: If you are into craft chocolate (bean to bar) then this is definitely worth a visit and to ofcourse grab yourself some bonbons or a nice bar of chocolate.

GHRAOUI Chocolate Budapest: what do users think?

Santravelz: Got a box of 8 different chocolates and not only are they pretty, they also taste delicious! My fave was the ruby chocolate, strawberry cheesecake chocolate and the log-shaped chocolate. The shop also looks really nice as well.

Tanya. Cookie Beacon: Such a wonderful experience! We stopped for a quick chocolate fix and got the best experience possible. Very attentive service and a kind sweet present for our son. We’ll definitely come back!

shahar wienrib: High quality chocolate

Tim Byrne: Nagyon finom! The chocolates and bon bon are not only beautiful to look at but they are absolutely delicious as well. The staff is friendly and helpful and explained the history of the chocolates and the company founders. This place looks more like a jewelry store than a chocolate shop and fits right in on the Grand Boulevard. The creations are works of art that look good enough to eat and the good news is you can. The Ghraoui family started the brand in the 1800s with candied fruits and they are as beautiful as the chocolates. Of course we had to try them as well. There are so many choices that it was a bit overwhelming at first but our guide was fantastic. I’m sure this will not be my only visit and if you’re lucky enough to be in my gift list you can expect an orange box in the near future!

Lou Lou13: Fabulous boutique with chocolates and pralines and candied fruit. Last time I tried them was in Damascus, so I was very happy to find them in Budapest. Recommended. Try ths praline shaped like a peanut.

George Augusto: We had some problems with the opening time (the shop closed before the official time) yesterday. But today it was open and we had great service. GHRAOUI also replied to us on google, which was very kind. Thank you so much.

Hila Balas Davidof: A must for Chocolate lovers!

Lindt Chocolate Store: what do users think?

David A: Not very welcoming staff but Interesting store, good hot chocolate

Török József: Service: excellent and quick. You can pay by card. Taste: I chose to have an ice cream, which was not particularly tasty, but rather sweet and it either had a water base or a milk base, but it meldet very quickly in the afternoon shade. The chocolate made it enjoyable. Price/Quality: For the price - as someone coming from Budapest - I recommend to go for a handmade ice cream nearby.

Cormac Phillips: Great service queue was nearly out the door but customers were quickly politely and happily. Everything Lindy Chocolate a must for chocolate lovers.

Omar Salah: The rudest attitude i saw in my whole life.they were RUDE,RACIST,USING BAD WORDS IN HUNGARIAN LANGUAGE AND THROUGH THE STUFF WHEN YOU ASK ABOUT SOMETHING.Really bad customer service even though the ice-cream was amazing and taste really good but never going there again.

F A: Their ice cream is not to me missed. Very delicious.

Jesslyn Anastacia: Rude unfriendly staff. Despite the nice selection, fine chocolates, and organized shop the staff was extremely rude. Staff mistakenly made white chocolate ice cream instead of chocolate. I asked if that was mine she said yes, I said I did not order white chocolate. She took it aggressively and made a new one. Maybe it was the language barrier, but they could’ve managed it better and not be so bad-tempered about it.

Ad Util: Is it possible to give 0 stars ? Stay away from the hot chocolate ! It is served in 20 min minimum and it is cold and toomuch diluted. Total waste of time and money !

Nupur Choudhary: Amazing artisan chocolates at a low price. The owner is very friendly and passionate. Must visit when in Budapest.

Ha Nguyen: The owner is a nice reapectable man who is clearly passionate about his chocolates. I had one chocolate drink, and 2 chocolate for about 1,500 forints. He asked me to taste the drink if I liked it so he could adjust to my taste. It won several prizes.

Lara Harp: Amazing talent! After tasting 16 of their creations, definitely going back! Not some people who make something stylish on a whim. They put their soul and creativity into each taste.

Sumin Cho: The owner is a devoted chocolatier. With small tasting along with some passionate explanation, I found myself heading out of the shop with a box of chocolate in my hand. Lots of flavors quite unique and experimental! Place is very tiny so you might have to look for it quite closely.

Hannah Hueckstaedt: We just went in to purchase one truffle, however we ended up buying a box. The owner gave us a thorough explanation of the process and flavors which led us to having a wonderful conversation. High-quality chocolate made by a knowledgeable and passionate person. Thank you! -the german girl and the Mexican boy
