aron enyed: The food was good but it did not blow me away. Pretty standard, struggling to keep up with the emerging high quality restaurants in the city. The view is amazing but the prices don't justify the taste and quality of the food. The staff is super helpful as you would expect but always be aware of the wines that they offer. I heard quite some horror stories.
Hamed Mesri: Very nice restaurant! Good food and beautiful view to the Danube riverside Budapest castles. The staff very quite friendly and helpful. Everything was perfect. Definitely recommended! Will go back for sure when I visit Budapest again!
Saradha Sethuraman: Really enjoyed a 3 course dinner at this beautiful restaurant overlooking the castle. My organisation had arranged for reliable veggie options - so no way for me to say if they do veggie stuff on other days. But what I got served tasted good - so no complaints. The restaurant has quite the view, as the sun sets and lights get turned on across the Danube on the castle. so even if there are no veggie options, I would recommend stepping in here for tea, or beer - just to enjoy the view.
Damian Huba: We have visited this place for dinner and it was relatively full. We ordered starters, mains and desserts. For starter foie gras wasn't really tasty, it didn't have too much flavour, however the serving was quite nice. Tartar on the other hand was good. From mains we have tried (steak, salmon, tuna), the best was tuna, nicely cooked, raw inside, delicate and delicious. For desserts, even though they were very well served they didn't surprised us. House wine (bottled) was just ok.
OKAN ILKIC: Great atmopshere and amazing view. We were lucky to have one of the best table for Valentine's day dinner. Service, live music, decoration, meals were all great. I highly recommend here for all. You will not regret.
Diana Olar: Amazing view, with comfortable setting, elegant design and higher quality furniture. Friednly staff, good lighting and music. The food looks amazing. Absolutely well arranged, catefully proportioned ingredients, good meat cuts. On the taste, I’d give it 4/5, as the quail truffle soup was slightly too salty, the boar cheek a bit too well cooked, and the foaie gras a bit too dipped in fat. But just a bit. Mix it with the view, the good wine (the “house” wine is a Montenuovo 2014 - recommend!), atmosphere - and it ocerall hits a 10. Definitely good place to try out!
Maralyn Ragg: Although the food was very nice the service left a lot to be desired. The wine glass had a cobweb which I pointed out. The water was split when pouring, and after wiping up was spilt on the second pour also. The goulash was splashed on one guests arm. The worst of all was 2 of the 3 meals were served and wr had finished eating before the 3rd was brought along. Considering the hype and excitement what a disappointment.
Salu C. Scaria: Beauty with elegance. Finest places for a great dinner in one of the best location in Budapest. Loved the coffee especially. We held a conference there and it couldn't be better.

Hanna Poprády: Best program if you visit Budapest! You have a wonderful view from the boat on the most beautiful sightseeing spots of the city. Delicious dinner with gipsy music and traditional Hungarian dancers. Highly recommend!
Conor Donnelly: Would not recommend, food very poor - cold microwaved pork, zero disabled access, entertainment good but ended with the staff begging for tips around the tables making customers very uncomfortable whilst trying to eat desserts. Nice views off the boat but choose another tour!
Martin Davies: In a word: AVOID The food, served by a lady who looked as miserable as the weather, was revolting. One mouthful of disgusting cold rubbery pork and we simply couldn’t eat anymore I am not one who complains but we all said it was inedible. A young lady came and said we would not be charged for our drinks if we didn’t give a bad review. Lots of people around us had left their main course as well and the young lady was going round with her iPad putting good reviews in even though I heard people saying it was “dry” or “poor” to which she said “I’ll put that down as 5 star”. The entertainment was average at best. What a disappointment :(
Jonathan Boyd: Great cruize with nice classical decoration. Food was good and at £55 pounds it's reasonable. Havi g done the same thing in Paris though I was a little disappointed with the buffet... Still worth doing a special treat for the family.
marcus ljung: We booked the dinner cruise at 10pm. We had no expectations at all when we booked. The boat was cozy on the inside. The staff was helpful and nice. Food however were not that good, 2 out of 5. The musicians gets 4 out of 5. Environment 3 out of 5. View 4,5! But we had a fun night and give the total point of 3 stars.

Cerstie Clarkson: It was poor. Needed some actual entertainment maybe a compere to welcome you and let you know what will be happening. Buffet style food was average. Waiter service to the table was great. However the people who didn’t have that package were queuing all night next to our table whilst we were trying to eat. Got potential to be an amazing night with fabulous views on a lovely vessel but seemed to be just escorted to our table and then left to our own devices. Wouldn’t do it again but really what we had in mind.

Razvan Marculescu: I tried Dinner and Cruise (around 54 euro per person)…Not the greatest experience…food was extremely regular (goulash soup/chicken paprikas/cold strudel…), drinks (beer/wine low quality)…I paid 200euro for two adults and two kids, is way to overpriced for what is included. In my opinion is better to take just Cruise ticket and have a great dinner in the city.

ΓΙΑΝΝΗΣ ΚΑΡΑΚΑΣΗΣ: Great value tour. Two free drinks and just over an hour on the river. Get the history of the most important sites of Budapest from a comfortable seat. The audio guide was informative and entertaining.
D kim: We took the sunset cruise time. Must do in Budapest over the Danube river. Passing Uber the bridges have us opportunities to see the wonders and engineering of the old bridges. One of the best way to see the parliament building. Prerecorded audio in many different languages and history of Hungary and notable people made the cruise more interesting. It is beautiful to see all the architecturally beautiful buildings light up.

Alexandra Birtar: A nice experience, nice trip on the Danube. The boat was beautiful, the service nice. We received one glass of drink at our choice. I think that people should be allowed to have more drinks and drink before the boat leaves. Also not all the headphones were working. But overall a nice think.
Ron Norman: Great cruise for an hour up the Danube to see some of the beautiful architecture which looks even better at night. You receive a free drink on board which can be a beer, champagne and or a soft drink. There are rival companies with some boats which look outstanding which would be good to have a meal on whilst on the cruise. All in all definitely would definitely recommend a cruise up the Danube.
Robert Reds (UltraVires): We took the 9pm cruise with only welcome drink. The sightseeing are just stunning. We were be able to get on the top deck ( in September was chilly so bring a jacket). And the fotos were amazing. The audio guide is ok even if the sound quality was not the best.
N-G: Of all the ships, this is the best, very good conditions, warm and safe environment.Very polite staff. The second floor is very nice for a great view, but it is very cold in winter.The headphones some worked some didn't but it was ok.I suggest you go and try a ride in the evening.The price also included a drink, for example a glass of wine, champagne, orange juice, etc. but no hot drinks. 😊
Mohit Manjul: Took the evening cruise here at 8:00 PM. The view of the city after the lights are on is breathtaking. Totally worth the experience. The cruise company is very good, they are well organised and coordinated. The onboarding and off boarding process is smooth. They also have a very nice dock area where you can wait before boarding. The boat is covered with glass so the view is not blocked, super helpful when it rains, and they also have an upper open deck. The drink on board was a pleasant experience. Adequate staff onboard to assist if you need help with anything. The lower deck has nice comfortable upholstered seats. The upholstery were also a bit torn for some seats, but overall a very comfortable cruise. The audio guide was engaging, but felt out of context. Had to look at the screen to understand what it was referring to. All in all, would totally recommend the tour company.
Thomas Mumford: Absolutely INCREDIBLE! Loved every second! We took the day cruise, and were delighted with the length of the tour. Friendly boarding staff, and an all-round VIP feeling experience. Champagne on the way to Margaret Island, then lemonade on the way back. We chose to stay on the ship instead of getting off at Margaret island, but the option is there. We really enjoyed the thorough audio tour, which follows where the ship is going. It’s available in several languages, around 15 if my memory serves me right. Well worth the money. If you can pay in Hungarian Forints, I would, as it’s a better exchange rate. Overall, an incredible experience for the money paid. 5/5
João Bernardo: Took the night cruise and it was just awesome. Get to see a whole other side of the city that I otherwise wouldn't see. The ticker even included a free drink and a audio guide of what we were passing by. Fully recommend for anyone traveling to Budapest

The location of the restaurant very close to the center, with the possibility of parking vehicles. I highly recommend it to all guests if you are in Budapešt. Ivana Cattafi: Especially if you are a tourist, do not waste your time in this restaurant. Service is pretty good, but the food was nothing special and we found the conventional fried croquettes in one of the dish. The place where we were seated was with no view and when we asked to be moved upstairs they told us they could not because there was an event, but instead there was nothing 🤦♀️ Appetizers were good.

Ania Stacey: The boat tour overall was great and very informative. I strongly suggest that you get there EARLY because the seats fill up fast. There are 3 rows of seats, 2 on both sides and one in the middle. The middle seats have a bit of an obstructed view when it comes to pictures. We got there late and sadly didn’t get very good seats. The drinks are ok but obviously bottom shelf, so don’t work yourself up for them! This is a guided tour via a little device with headphones in several languages. The description of what’s being transcribed is on the 2 screens on the side. The only complaint and suggestion I have is that while the transcription is going on, you get lost in what is where. For example, if the store is taking about a building we are passing, it doesn’t say which side the building is on, so you have to look around and figure out what it is they’re taking about. It would be easier if there was some electronic sign that would point to the object being discussed because sometimes the pictures did not represent the building being discussed. Otherwise, the lit up buildings on the Danube were absolutely breath taking. It’s an incredible experience and an absolute MUST!!
Erik Borkner: Great 1 hour tour, down and up the Donau. Good quality boat and nice people onboard. Audioguide in alot of languages, one free drink is served. Remember to validate your ticket if bought elsewhere. Done in the ticked booth.

Mk B: The cruise was super nice, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the sights were gorgeous (went at night and HIGHLY recommend doing so). We got a free glass of champagne when we got on board and enjoyed sitting outside to view the buildings as we passed them, all lit up beautifully. After about half the cruise, we decided to go inside and enjoy the lovely live music and try the food. The chicken paprikas was so good and reminded me of the way my grandma makes it! Definitely worth trying.

Nick Scarpa: Highly suggest a night cruise. We chose the night cruise with unlimited champagne, it was only like 20 euro per person and they were NOT stingy with the champagne. I suggest getting to the dock early so you can get on the boat first and get one of the nice seats upstairs on the roof of the boat
ALA Buraczewska: Insteat of 2 hours cruise we had just 1,5 because the boat was staying and waiting for more tourists till 7.30 p.m(the cruise should start at. 7 p.m). The route was shorter. No Margaret Island. Good coctails.
Bailey stockton: This was a great experience for tourist, there were some confusion about the dock and what time the dock leaves because two different boats arrive at the same exact time however the actual club and the after party were both extremely fun. I wish there were more people on the boat but that’s about it
CruPlay: Budapest at night is something you should see. So we had a really amazing view from the ship. The tour was one hour long and you can see every important building on the Danube. The ship itself was in a very good condition (clean, enough space), we had a nice welcome drink and really friendly stuff. You have different places on the ship where you can go. When you sit down on, you have an english audio guide in a perfect volume. But you can also go to the end of the ship, where you have some more personal space. I can highly recommend the tour. It's perfect for seeing Budapest at night in a easy and cheap way. 👍

Dale Hoblyn: Wish I’d researched more beforehand as so many other tour boats available, The boat was good and spacious, however the audio equipment for translations need renewing as many broken / not working. As we set off, drinks orders were taken and a large group of young teenagers were all given alcohol freely by the staff, this then led to excited and giddy teenagers running up and down the boat constantly. Marked down due to the audio equipment & poor alcohol control. The tour itself is well worth doing, especially at night!

Fabschio: We can highly recommend the Budapest Boat Party. Grap a couple of drinks and have a beautiful view on the famous buildings of Budapest. Only the music could have been a bit more state of the art (mostly from 2007-2017) - but all in all a great adventure!
Isabella Andre: Completely recommended to do this party. One of the best experiences in Budapest. You get to see the city on the first part of the trip and party on the second half.
Niall Sharpe: It was awesome, the party consisted of a very diverse crowd of people from all over the world, the music was fun; the DJ talented. It rained the entire time and my friends and I still loved every minute of it. At the end of the cruise you get the option to head into the city (on a night bus, great vibe) and you get free entry into a Nightclub. Sounds great right? No, the place is a tourist trap, they upsell like crazy and don't take no for an answer. Good luck trying to get a refund. When we saw our bill had the most expensive spirits for everything we asked for the money back before the drinks were poured. The barmaid ignored us and Security were called. I was very disappointed that this amazing experience ended this way... Despite that I'd still recommend this Boat cruise on a Friday night.
Laurens Handels: Booked this via our Hostel. We got the all in package for €38. It was raining heavily so the party was inside, but let's just say it was clear the party is normally on the upper outside deck. They did have a little tent, but it was too small for all the people. None of the less, the music was good. I can't find myself in the other reviews where they complained about that. The partying was okayish, we had a group of 5 but a lot of people just stood and enjoyed their drinks. The mixed drinks were weak, luckily our barguy later offered to make them more strong! Cheers to that After the boat the whole group went to a great club with a partybus. All in all, I did like the experience. €38 was a bit too much and if you're expecting a full on party, this isn't your thing. But you meet some fun people, and after all, you have to make your own party!
Michel: The entire bar staff is rude and ignorant. Expect to pay the full price for the worst and cheapest alcohol ever. Luckily, the view made up for it. However, the same view can be enjoyed from any other boat or just from the promenade.
Fazzie M: I am a student in Croatia and had the best time with my friends! I got to meet people from around the world and would love to do it again over the summer. Worth it!
David Altmayer: I've been on many boat parties in Budapest, and I can say for sure that this is the best boat party in Budapest! The all-you-can-drink package was definitely worth it. I'd do it again for sure, and I would recommend everyone who wants a fun party to try it.

Lilla Dobos: Great experience! Budapest is so beautiful and its beauty is well captured by a one hour cruise on a ship. The staff are very nice, the food is delicious - represents the Hungarian cuisine, there is plenty of wine to drink too :) We have done the night tour but next time we will go with the day tour, looking forward!!
MS Ahad: Amazing cruise of the danube river. The cruise took us along the river and see the view of budapest landmark. From the River cruise we experience first hand the Europe’s rich and dramatic history and her elegant cultural capital and endless scenic splendor which line along the river’s banks.

sahel kapoor: The boat I rented was nice. But this company is way far from being organized. I rented a boat, which was really difficult, because of communication problems. They have other companies working with them together and I was forced to make a booking with them. No phone contact, no personal contact, just a stupid email contact. All in all they didn’t do what we clearly communicated. Be carful and write everything you need on the contract otherwise they won’t do it. My party had some problems because of their poor organization. Additionally I couldn’t spend all the time On the boat which was communicated. The embarking was late and got back on the dock early. I lost about 20min which will never be refunded, from a company which wants for every single minute you book a payment.
Barnabás Turi: If you would like to have a good time on the Danube and see Budapest from a nice point of view I recommend the Prestige ship.

Tomek Janus: Only the location is an asset to this place. The rooms are old and litle demage. The canteen opens 30 minutes late. The workers arrives as they wish. The kitchen is the most partying part of this ship. Only reception work is OK and they have to apologize for the whole team. The main entrance closes at 20.00 21.00 so you must ring to get in or out. If there is a fire, you will not run away. I understand it's off season. But not all visitors are tourists. So a minimum of servicing in a fixed amount of time should be realized.

Gilles Moreau: That was an experience to sleep on a boat parked along the Danube river, and a nice view on the Marguerite's island. We slept in the river side and that was very quiet, though we could hear people walking in the corrido. Cabin's comfort is the kind you can expect from such a boat. The boat is 10 min from Tram 2 and Metro 3 walking, each of those less 10 min from city center People were nice and helpful, the price was low compared those we could find in the area

Pam Daley: We stayed 2 nights here - I would come back. Cabins are basic but clean with comfortable beds, wifi was good. I wish the tram stop was just a bit closer (about 15 mins the way I walk) but it's very doable. There is a bus stop very close as an option. The breakfast is great - typical German style with the lunchmeats and cheeses, breads, but they also had scrambled eggs and several breakfast meat choices. Cereal, yogurt, fruit and donuts as well.

Malcolm Hare: Lovely place to stay. Didn't have any issues that others mentioned. Actually had the best sleep in the bed we've had in years. One tip. All for a room upgrade if you can to a bigger room. We did and had a much better room than initially had.

Pepper Giese: The views were great, the place was quiet. There are no smoking rooms, but it wasn't too cold, there were chairs and tables outside, and hammocks too. The room was adequate, (meaning servicable, with modern furnishings) if small. But what do you expect on a boat? Of course, it's a shower only facility. About one half foot of room on each side of the bed, if they're put together. The breakfast is great, with lots of choices, including sausages, bread and pastries, cereal, eggs, juice, meats and cheeses. Only the coffee comes out of a machine and tastes accordingly. The view is exceptional, and the personnel are attentive and informative. Overall, a great place to stay for a memorabile adventure. I thought I knew what to expect, but it was better than that.
