Aszú Étterem: what do users think?
Menyhárt István
Menyhárt István: Returned after an amazing first visit, and the second time didn’t disappoint either. The owner was helpful and responsive through e-mail, and surprisingly he was actually running the restaurant on the night if our visit. Very professional and friendly manner. Our server was Imre, who was attentive, and professional throughout the dinner. We had three courses, all of them were delicious, and good value for money. Great representation of Hungarian cuisine throughout the menu. Definitely starred on my maps, and will return for sure.
Emanuel S
Emanuel S: A restaurant in an excellent location, very close to the basilica. Nice atmosphere with background music from a player. The service is a bit oppressive in its acceleration in front of the customer. The dishes are completely average in quality. The place advertises itself as having a Michelin star, but in reality it is not.Food: 3/5 | Service: 2/5 | Atmosphere: 3/5 …More
alisa koay
alisa koay: WHEN: Thursday, 8/4/22 Per the recommendation of our local tour guide we booked a reservation to this modern European restaurant for some fine dining in Hungary. We arrived early to our reservation but the servers accommodated us anyways. We tried 4 different dishes and ordered their local beer. Unfortunately the food was not good. I don’t want to speak too much on the food because what I will say is that their service was truly unrivaled. We sat outside for our meal and there were ~5 servers just lined up along the wall waiting to help us and 3 other tables sitting outside. At the end of our meal we told our waiter about our food and he was very sincere in offering to give us a discount because we didn’t get the best food experience! So for the service alone I give this place a 4 stars
Damilia Arzybekova
Damilia Arzybekova: -One of the best services in the entire Budapest! The stuff is very attentive and tries to help - The atmosphere is lovely, there is live music 🎶 which I really enjoyed. Just light is a bit too dark for me😅 - The food is fine, they really tried to make something different or in their own way. However, I was not much fan of desserts 🍨( Peach with berry sorbet and basil, basil was too strong…)
Kseniya
Kseniya: We liked it. Nice atmosphere with a musician, who’s familiar with different national songs of different countries - nice and smart approach to clients! Regarding the food, food was nice, I loved the duck pate/parfe! So tender and melts in the mouth. Deer gulags for me tastes like a usual gulash, another person got the duck and didn’t really say it was something special … nice wines and good desert. Regarding the service, waiters were very friendly and patient , asked me in a form of survey when we were leaving what we didn’t like and presented us two glasses of amazing wine. Had good time there but nothing very special for me. Anyways, nice place to visit
Arjun Bardhan
Arjun Bardhan: One of the finest dining experiences. The food is top class, the presentation, the service, the live music, and the interior decor just makes the dinning an experience in itself. The food is beyond amazing and the owner (Mr. Thomas) goes out of his way to make you feel comfortable. If you’re in Budapest and want to explore local cuisine, this is the place!
Christophe Schneider
Christophe Schneider: Very good local restaurant. Good food with friendly prices. You can pay also in euros. A nice terrace in front of the restaurant where you can eat relaxed. A place i recommand. Christophe from France 👍
Ra A
Ra A: Second time visiting. Great food (taste yes, and portions are big too!), friendly service. I went on Friday night with last minute reservation but didn’t wait much between dishes and I can’t be happier! Thank you
Steve Butler
Steve Butler: Stumbled upon this place via Google maps whilst looking for somewhere nice to eat on a Saturday. They were busy but to our surprise they went out of their way to make sure we were seated. The ambiance was amazing, with live music on a traditional Hungarian instrument, the staff were all incredibly polite and helpful, and the food was absolutely delicious. All for an unbelievably reasonable price. I will be recommending this place to anyone visiting Budapest and look forward to coming again!

Onyx: what do users think?
Rie Pedersen
Rie Pedersen: The best restaurant experience I’ve ever had. No doubt. Everything was sublime; the service from the passionate staff, the courses both in regard to taste, presentation, and new ideas. We would definitely visit Budapest again with the sole purpose of eating at Onyx.
Natalie Chun
Natalie Chun: Truly a unique experience as the restaurant is undergoing a transition. It comes perhaps slightly at the cost of execution in food quality, but overall the atmosphere and interactivity that was created during the dinner was a nice change.
מאיר צור
מאיר צור: Great culinary experience when traveling to Budapest, good VFM. Plus: Good service Great wine/drinks pairings Tasty food especially the wagyu and the yellow butter they make which was divine Good interaction with guests and staff Minus: They charge for Water, i think that it should be complimentary for this dinner concept Not enough meat or poultry in the dinner in my opinion
Diane
Diane: I had a really bad experience here. The food is really not tasty, the flavor combinations are strange and not on point. The texture is rubbery weirdly some how. I didn’t order wine pairing and the service are deducted because of it.It doesn’t deserve any credit it has. I won’t come back again.
nika salia
nika salia: I have attended the food testing event on 20th of November, it was presentation of only one dish from the future potential menu consisting of six dishes. The team is extremely visionary, positive, passionate, professional, thoughtful and friendly. All of the m are young and energetic with lots of bright ideas. Thank you!
Response: Dear Nika, Thank you for the nice words. We are very glad you were with us and we managed to provide you with a memorable night. We hope to welcome you back soon again! Best regards, ONYX Creative Community
John Nafa
John Nafa: Outstanding. What an incredible experience and absolutely delicious food. The service is something out of a fairy tale. We’ll be back!
Tina Boss Dideriksen
Tina Boss Dideriksen: Such an amazing experience! We felt us involved and in the atmosphere. Top professional chefs and very friendly. The food is really amazing and thought out each details! Wow! We are deaf, so they had prepared a text tough the whole menu and experience. And they explained extra in text at the phone which ingredients in drink and how we have to go tough the dishes. My best recommendation! A experience we never will forget.
Lasse Jakobsen
Lasse Jakobsen: Quite an experience. But more show than food. You can get better food for same price elsewhere.
Response: Dear Lasse, Thanks for the great review, but sorry you didn't feel completely satisfied! Nonetheless, we hope to welcome you back at Műhely. Best regards, ONYX Creative Community
Jesper de Miranda
Jesper de Miranda: Super unique experience! Service was superb, food was very good and the meal is just so much fun! I won’t spoil anything :) I really think this is the N1 thing you shoudnt miss in Budapest.
Response: Dear Jesper, Thank you for the super unique feedback to us! We really look forward to welcoming you back at Műhely soon again. Best regards, ONYX Creative Community

DNB Budapest: what do users think?
Bobbie P
Bobbie P: It was a lovely dinner, interesting appetiser, meat was very pleasing. Dessert could have been better though. Very nice service. Overall it was very good....
Ульяна К
Ульяна К: Nice and cozy local food made with a fine dining twist, portion size was surprizing, becauze they were way bigger then expected for a restaurant. Service was quite slow, but we also arrived quite late and many tables were already seated, also place calls for calm time. We enjoyed our food and service. But be mindful that receipt has 2 upcharges for service.
Mihalea Atomei
Mihalea Atomei: Brunching at Marriott in Budapest vith a great view over to the Danube, amazing food bar & bottomless prosecco makes it the perfect Sunday chill vibe! A must when in Budapest!
Máté Makai
Máté Makai: We visited for dinner with a larger group on a Tuesday evening. The menu is rather short (which is a plus in my eyes) with limited vegeterian/vegan options but more centered around traditional Hungarian ingredients. The goat cheese and the rib eye were okay. We especially liked the asparagus soup and the cheese plate (the latter you can find among the desserts). Generally we found the dessert section a lackluster (but they did have paleo selection as well).
Karolina Tóth
Karolina Tóth: Came for the lunch menu that includes a lemonade. We were warned in advance that wait was gonna be long. It was. The lemonade was a lot more sugary than expected, every dish was pretty perfect though. And quite great portions! Service fee is included!
Natascha
Natascha: We went for the Sunday All You Can Eat Brunch and it was worth it. The restaurant itself is part of the Marriott Hotel and elegant and luxurious. All staff speaks English. The starters and desserts had a huge variation and selection really something for everyone. The mains didn’t have quite as much of a selection however but the amount of the other food for sure made up for it. Unlimited drinks - wine, soft drinks, coffee etc. There’s also a room for kids to play with caregivers having an eye on them. The only downside was: no one checked our vaccination cards as we sat inside and no one else was asked for it either. Non of the guest where asked to wear masks, especially when handling foods. There was no disinfectant provided . A bit tricky during the current situation. Half the food didn’t have a card with what it actually is, so it was just playing with your luck if it’s something you actually like. Service Tax is added at the end.
Noor Wisam
Noor Wisam: The BEST restaurant in Budapest!Only thing is, I wish the lemonades were less sweet.
Ad Util
Ad Util: I like the place in general. Nice Danube panorama. Decent and stable quality of food. Daily lunch menus are a real value. The menu js also not bad. I think it is a very gikd orice for value restaurant. If you are not after those posh places, this one can offer a good quality witha nice view at a decent price.Food: 4/5 | Service: 4/5 | Atmosphere: 4/5 …More

Babel Budapest: what do users think?
Thomas
Thomas: Very lucky to score a reservation at this Michelin starred establishment. Located near The river in downtown Budapest. An amazing wine paired dinner from start to finish. Strong attention to detail with a casual dining feel in an intimate setting. I would have to say that the the signature dish is remarkable - casino egg with caviar - the layering of flavor with the saltiness of the caviar is a delicate balance of flavors with that extra "pop" that i enjoy on my food. Well worth the trip and hopefully they get their second star soon. Thank you for taking the time with our "loud" crew!
M
M: Service, ambiance, food presentation are great. The menu had 12 courses, looks cute. Wine paring was all white, they are nice wines but too narrow in taste. The same type of wineglass from aperitif to sweet. Some details may need to improve : the bathroom maintenance ( the hand towels were thrown on the floor, the cleaning room was open could see the mop), consistency ( my dessert had no deco but my friend did in the previous day). 3.5 / Overall was nice meal. Happy to see them reopen.
Response: Dear M, Thank you for your feedback! We are sorry that the wine pairing wasn’t to your liking. Babel is known for their only white wine pairing and some find it interesting and exeptional. About the dessert decoration; we always improve our courses as we go. If we find something is not working as great in the long run we change ingredients or in this case the deco on the cake. Your friend must have been at our restaurant right at the re-opening, as we changed the deco really soon. We promise we just improve our dishes if we change something. Our menu is about to change again soon. So hopefully we can welcome you again and make your dining experience amazing. Kind regards, Babel team
Vladimir Dzalbo
Vladimir Dzalbo: A great dinner. At first you might think that the dishes are small and not too ma u, yet you would depart feeling well fed :) The whole experience is not as long as many other Michelin restaurants I’ve been. And could fit in a normal length dinner. Super tasty. Courteous staff and very pleasant atmosphere
Michelle Muller
Michelle Muller: What a truly special restaurant! Wonderful and welcoming staff, exceptional presentation and hospitality, delicious wines and show stopping food. Do not miss this restaurant when in Budapest. Also really appreciated the intentional wine pairing with mostly Hungarian wines (wonderful). Highly recommend this restaurant!
Response: Dear Michelle, Thank you so much for your kind words and positive feedback! We hope to welcome you again in the future! We wish you all the best! Kind regards, Babel team
Shane Dunne
Shane Dunne: Fine dining in the heart of Budapest 14 course tasting menu The food was exceptional I personally wouldn’t recommend the wine pairing as it was all whites. (They were delicious I just wanted a better variation) Food 10/10 Service 10/10 Location 10/10 Setting 10/10 Wine 8/10 Price 6/10
Response: Dear Shane, Thank you very much for your positive review! Yes we know the all whites is not for everyone, but that is something really original about Babel. Who knows, it might change in the future. We recommend you maybe the juice pairing for next time, that we made available last week for our 14 course dining experience. And from April 1st we have a shorter menu for a lower price, called Early Dinner on fridays and saturdays. Reservation for that is available from 17:30-18:00. Hope to see you again! Kind regards, Babel team
Markus Schmidt
Markus Schmidt: Glad I tried it but not convinced I would recommend or come back. Interesting food journey but underwhelming in the way laid out. They sell as 10 course menu but count everything into that, even the amuse bouche and bread. Compared to other Michelin star places in town, too expensive and still way to go. Also service was a little odd. Way too many people and unclear who was in the lead and as such not organised. Had to wait ages to get bill and then no one was helping us with our jackets while 4 people where standing by their staging counter.
Marina Lapaeva
Marina Lapaeva: An absolute must-visit in Budapest if you are here for the food! 😋 Every course in the menu is a masterpiece. Bravo!

Igor Furer
Igor Furer: We were on a Christmas time and a lot of places were closed, so we ordered food 3 times in thelis restaurant. Every dish was amazing. Hot wine and coffee are on the high level. Must restaurant to visit in Budapest.Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Cabernet Sauvignon, Burger, Cabernet Franc, Wrap, Beefsteak, Fried Potatoes, Cabernet Sauvignon 2013, Wine & Snack, BBQ …More
Yutta Maria
Yutta Maria: The vegetarian option was fantastic! The wine was great. The restaurant has tables at the reception and that ruined the ambiance. Although they brought me a completely different order, I think it’s cause of the language barrier; but hey I still ate it even though it was too SALTY! Will definitely come back for the cauliflower steak salad! Just that!!
Response: Dear Yutta Maria, First of all let me thank you for sharing your kind feedback! On the one hand I am very happy to hear that you really liked your vegetarian dish. On the other hand I regret ot hear that there were some misunderstanding concerning your order and you were not fully satisfied with your dish; please let me express my sincerest apologies. I have shared your comments with the team in order to avoid similar cases in the future. I do hope you will give us another chance to welcome you back in the near future. Kind regards, Ádám Petró WS Manager
Madhusudhan Konda
Madhusudhan Konda: Winestone is a fine restaurant located on the popular Váci street, attached to the hotel Mercure City Centre. The staff are very courteous and informed. They explain the dishes very nicely including the local delicacies and wines and spirits. One of the waiter explained to us about their local mix called “Dukkah” which is an aromatic mixture of roasted pistachios, nuts, seeds and dried legumes. You dip your bread in olive oil and Dukkah before eating it. It was a lovely mixture! There’s a great indoor dining along with dining outside on the popular Váci street. The menu is certainly a great one but I wish it could change or add few more dishes. The vegetarian wrap wasn’t of my taste and aren’t many vegetarian choices too!
Response: Dear Madhusudhan Konda, Thank you so much for your kind feedback; it is highly appreciated. We are very happy to read that you were satisfied with the service received from our colleagues. It is even great to read that you found our special spice-mix unique and tasty. Thank you for your suggestion concerning the vegetarian dishes; we will take into consideration. We look forward to welcoming you back in the near future. Kind regards, WineStone Team
Debbie Young
Debbie Young: Had a lovely meal here. Glass of white wine, bread and olive oil dip with Dukkah spices, and the Hungarian pork special which was phenomenal. Had a nice lounge seat on the outside terrace. Very friendly waiter.

Ana Paula Maluf
Ana Paula Maluf: Excelent service. Delicious food and wine. Goulash + Vida red wine

KOLLÁZS - Brasserie & Bar: what do users think?
Kenneth Madsen
Kenneth Madsen: Located inside the Four Seasons, this place has a charming old world atmosphere and very comfortable couches you can enjoy your meal in. There are some delicious options on the menu from fish over meats and some good side dishes. Also a good selection of wines, liquor and beers. Absolutely also make room for desert - both beautifully presented and supremely delicious. Staff professional and polite - some younger assistants, a bit less so, but they are mainly bringing out meals and drinks. The food is delicious, scrumptious and also very nicely presented. Speaking of drinks - consider ordering off their drink menu as a stopper - they make some excellent cocktails.
Emily Elizabeth
Emily Elizabeth: Enjoyable meal at this restaurant. Staff were kind and efficient. Food was tasty. My fellow diner’s meat was undercooked and bread was slightly dry, but otherwise the meal was nice. I loved the flavour of the peach in the summer salad. I’d also recommend the cheese gougeres. The side dishes were generous in portion size. Felt the restaurant could lower the lighting slightly not to attract the moths, and create a more intimate atmosphere.
Mike Varel
Mike Varel: Fantastic service and recommendations. We started with the burrata and shared the steak and octopus main dishes. Both were beautifully plated and cooked to perfection. The Vida Péter red wine was exceptional as was the cocktail menu. From the setting to the food, everything was wonderful.
Leut Bounpaseuth
Leut Bounpaseuth: Really nice French and Hungarian brasserie, staff very professional and kind. All dishes were delicious, grilled octopus, farm chicken and also french fries with truffle… fantastic !
RK
RK: The best service you will ever get in Hungary. Ask for Mark the waiter.Food is on the expensive side, but the service is incredible, waiters would have small talks with the guests, engage with the guests.Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Queenie Quynh Nguyen
Queenie Quynh Nguyen: Amazing food taste. Sea bream was the best ever I tasted. Price is 5star level.Dessert is speechless, French toast with poppy seed.!!!
Response: Dear Queenie, Thank you for your review. Your comments with regards to the dishes had been shared with our Culinary Team which they have appreciated very much, look forward to welcoming you back. Kind regards, Gabor Tamasi Kollazs General Manager
Tamas Bakos AC
Tamas Bakos AC: Perfect brassiere in the downtown of Budapest with a view on the Buda Castle. The personnel was very polite. Good restaurants are know by shorter menu and smaller portions. So you can be sure if you eat something it will way above average and you can eat 3 courses without being completely full.

Sir Lancelot Medieval Restaurant: what do users think?
Jennifer Smith
Jennifer Smith: The naming of this place doesn’t make sense and it’s super-touristy but the decor is loads of fun. A medieval British-themed restaurant serving Hungarian food? Sure! This place was recommended by our hotel and it didn’t disappoint. We ate around 5pm when the restaurant was fairly empty. I got the prawns platter and my husband the pork knuckle. Food arrived promptly after ordering. The portions are MASSIVE. Whilst it’s not the cheapest meal, the amount of prawn skewers on the plate (which were yummy, dotted with paprika) would easily cost double in London. Remember there are no forks! Only spoons and knives. So a bit tricky eating salad with the prawns with a spoon but figured it out. Eating with your hands is encouraged. We walked out super-stuffed and happy.
Carina P
Carina P: Fancy restaurant! You feel like taken back into medieval times, It looks like a huge castle. The dishes are also very traditional. Very friendly staff! Huge selection of food, everything was fresh and the plates were very big. Would definitely come back again and can totally recommend it 👍
Andrea Gargiani
Andrea Gargiani: Very charming themed place, the medieval atmosphere is perfect. Good dishes, from tender and tasty meats, to abundant side dishes, do not give you forks to eat, but only knives to cut the dishes, you must use ONLY HANDS. During dinner you can attend the belly dancer and fire eater show🔥🔥 Definitely to be recommended!!!
Shlomi Mafuda
Shlomi Mafuda: Tasty, fun, great experience. So different, you will not get a fork, we must eat with hands... This is brilliant! You will fill like you back in the knights days...The meat was great! Perfect made and good!
Thomas Buelow
Thomas Buelow: Nice restaurant and atmosphere. The food portions are big and the taste is, I assume how it was cooked in Mideval times. It could use some modern day spices or cooking techniques. But it is a fun place with lots to see for the kids. This is not a cheap meal.
Marinos Theodosiou
Marinos Theodosiou: Far off from authentic. Tourist-centered, loud, busy, cramped but a lot of fun! Make sure you book a table with a group of company and be prepared for the show! The food was mediocre, lacked seasoning and flavour but the portions were absolutely Humongous. The beverages (beers mostly) were outstanding, especially served in those clay mugs. Overall, the experience was great. Like already said, tourist-centered but they put on a great show and for sure you will not leave from there hungry.
YICHING YEH (Haru)
YICHING YEH (Haru): If you first time come to Budapest, this restaurant is a good place for you to eat. It is pretty cool. No fork, we ate by hands. Better to have reservation even working day, or come early around 5 pm.
ilias tzem
ilias tzem: If you want something different and medieval, absolutely try this place! Nice and delicious food and good drinks! The beer is from another era! But, you must know that there is no forks in that place. Only spoon for the soups. They all eat with their hands like old medieval days!
Anna Gm
Anna Gm: Loved this place, 10/10 would recommend visiting for the whole experience. Very on-brand medieval atmosphere from the interior design to the actual eating of the food! It is a bit pricey though. The stuff is super helpful and very welcoming 💜 Do call to book your table as it gets busy.
Linda Cheng
Linda Cheng: After covid first time being back to this restaurant. The meat 🥩 has many choices. Very yummy Perfect for meat lovers Enjoy a medieval atmosphere. During dinner time they also have live show. Very worth going

Hamed Mesri
Hamed Mesri: Very nice restaurant! Good food and beautiful view to the Danube riverside Budapest castles. The staff very quite friendly and helpful. Everything was perfect. Definitely recommended! Will go back for sure when I visit Budapest again!
Saradha Sethuraman
Saradha Sethuraman: Really enjoyed a 3 course dinner at this beautiful restaurant overlooking the castle. My organisation had arranged for reliable veggie options - so no way for me to say if they do veggie stuff on other days. But what I got served tasted good - so no complaints. The restaurant has quite the view, as the sun sets and lights get turned on across the Danube on the castle. so even if there are no veggie options, I would recommend stepping in here for tea, or beer - just to enjoy the view.
Diana Olar
Diana Olar: Amazing view, with comfortable setting, elegant design and higher quality furniture. Friednly staff, good lighting and music. The food looks amazing. Absolutely well arranged, catefully proportioned ingredients, good meat cuts. On the taste, I’d give it 4/5, as the quail truffle soup was slightly too salty, the boar cheek a bit too well cooked, and the foaie gras a bit too dipped in fat. But just a bit. Mix it with the view, the good wine (the “house” wine is a Montenuovo 2014 - recommend!), atmosphere - and it ocerall hits a 10. Definitely good place to try out!
Maralyn Ragg
Maralyn Ragg: Although the food was very nice the service left a lot to be desired. The wine glass had a cobweb which I pointed out. The water was split when pouring, and after wiping up was spilt on the second pour also. The goulash was splashed on one guests arm. The worst of all was 2 of the 3 meals were served and wr had finished eating before the 3rd was brought along. Considering the hype and excitement what a disappointment.
Jasneet Kaur
Jasneet Kaur: Excellent ambience ..amazing view of tge castle lit in the night. Enjoy the food and champagne at this love restaurant on a deck of the ship on the beautiful banks of the lovely Danube. The owners are just amazing people.

taha: My friend is a regular here and we celebrated his birthday at the restaurant. The waiter is very professional. We started off with a few of the white wines he recommended and they were a perfect start. Most of us ordered fish and it was really good. I got the turbot fillet which was perfectly cooked. Some of the tastiest seafood I’ve had in Hungary. Will definitely be back.
Richard George
Richard George: Lovely little italian spot just behind the big luxury stores. The homemade pasta was excellent; not to mention the tiramisu which was a bit dunked in coffee and wine, but it tasted very good! The service was very fast, but a bit faster for my liking; i would not have been annoyed if the dishes came just a bit later.
수희이
수희이: The waiter was very professional and the inside of restaurant itself was lovely with white table cloths(Even though we sat down outside to enjoy the sun :)) We had 3 course lunch menu:1800Ft/each+ service charge which is very reasonably priced. But the food was really bad and un healthy! Pasta and Hungarian fish soup taste was ok but bacon pasta was way too oily! The main two dishes, fried fish was with more than half of fried clothes(flour) and another Chinese chicken was a junk food. The dessert was too sweet(full of unhealthy sugar). Our stomach was not good after having lunch here. it is a pity, the restaurant itself is good and waiter was kind and professional + well decorated dishes! Just the taste and quality didn’t meet our expectations at all(but without expectations I think it would be disappointing) I cannot recommend their lunch menu to anyone! Also we never wanted to have Hungarian fish soup/Chinese braised chicken in an Italian restaurant!
ΛΟΥΚΑΣ ΔΕΛΗΟΛΑΝΗΣ
ΛΟΥΚΑΣ ΔΕΛΗΟΛΑΝΗΣ: The food was great!!! We ate the Bolognese, the fettuccine, the duck pasta and the mushroom risotto. Everything was amazing. For dessert we tried the creme brulee which was also delicious. I recommendFood: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Nicola Tore
Nicola Tore: Great food, cozy atmosphere and excellent service. By far the very best and incomparable “value for money” for weekly lunch offers in town. Recommended +++
Krisztián Galvácsy
Krisztián Galvácsy: Great food and atmosphere. One of the best italian restaurants in Budapest. I always eat the degustation menu which never disappointed me.
Elena Serena Piccardi
Elena Serena Piccardi: I had a wonderful experience at Ristorante Krízia! Wonderful italian food and amazing Aperol Spritz! Service was also excellent and I will definitely visit this restaurant again when in Budapest. Absolutely recommended!
Riku Juvonen
Riku Juvonen: Very tasty italian food in a cosy environment. Lunch is cheap (1500f.) but drinks are a bit pricey. They add 10% service fee.
Christopher Keller
Christopher Keller: Excellent meal, the buffalo mozzarella wrapped in prosciutto was wonderful as a starter. Had the veal cutlet with black truffle which was amazing. Our waiter Paul was very nice and recommended a wine that paired nicely with our meal. Highly recommend going!

Vogue Boat Restaurant: what do users think?
Matjaž Lazar
Matjaž Lazar: We spend a wonderful time in this restaurant. The food and offer is absolutely excellent and very delicious, very friendly and helpful staff, excellent sound system. The location of the restaurant very close to the center, with the possibility of parking vehicles. I highly recommend it to all guests if you are in Budapešt. At the end of dinner, I highly recommend ordering an excellent coffee.
Response: Thank you very much for your review. 🙏 We look forward to seeing you again. 😊 Vogue boat restaurant ⚓
Ivana Cattafi
Ivana Cattafi: Especially if you are a tourist, do not waste your time in this restaurant. Service is pretty good, but the food was nothing special and we found the conventional fried croquettes in one of the dish. The place where we were seated was with no view and when we asked to be moved upstairs they told us they could not because there was an event, but instead there was nothing 🤦‍♀️ Appetizers were good.
M Komlos
M Komlos: tried some of the cocktails and was very pleasantly surprised. beautiful presentation, excellent flavors. service might take a while but it worth the wait. once they get to you they are friendly and very helpful. i especially recommend the hugo and the negroni.
Response: Thank you very much for your review. 🙏 We look forward to seeing you again. 😊 Vogue boat restaurant ⚓
Sandra Skrodzki
Sandra Skrodzki: The place looks nice, but the waiters repeatedly forgot to bring our orders and acted salty when we asked about them. The food tasted average, definitely too small portions for the prices.
Fabian Alexis Doren Alvarez
Fabian Alexis Doren Alvarez: Aaaaaaahhh I really enjoyed my dinner here, food it’s unbelievable good, people nice, I will definitely come back 😁

Jason Heneise
Jason Heneise: Excellent dinner. The Foie Pure was outstanding! Not usually a fan of liver, but this is a must have! The steaks were fabulous and sitting on the river creates a wonderful environment. The staff work very hard to accommodate everyone. Deer goulash was delicious.

Spago Budapest by Wolfgang Puck: what do users think?
Samantha Carson
Samantha Carson: Truly one of the best dining experiences I have ever had. Our waitress was absolutely incredible. She had incredible recommendations on drinks and food. Everything was perfect. It was our last meal out in Budapest and we are so happy with this choice. We were also celebrating our engagement!
Dudi Sterling
Dudi Sterling: Michelin 🏆 2022. Well deserved. Everything in the meal was incredible and very organized. Starting with the warm welcome when we went in, until we left. The waitress was very nice and polite and really helped us to choose the best dishes that fit our taste and desires. The meal itself was delicious and amazing 😋
Marinos Theodosiou
Marinos Theodosiou: Spago is an exquisite place, located in the centre of Budapest with outstanding quality of food and service. When we have visited, I was transfixed by the classic architecture at the entrance area and then by buzzling open kitchen of the restaurant. Modern, low-key design, makes you feel comfortable the moment you walk in. The food was beyond perfect. Our group of friends ordered a variety of plates and every single on of us was more than satisfied. The waiters were so friendly and eager at the end for us to try their desserts and they were right! A delicious end note to our wonderful experience.
Mihir Bhagat
Mihir Bhagat: A fine dining experience that is worth multiple visits! Reservations recommended. The high quality food is matched by the service and ambience and it is hard to find fault in either of the three. I was pleased with the suggestions provided by the crew and I would definitely recommend having their signature cocktails - refined flavours but packing a punch!
Nicola Sadori
Nicola Sadori: Spago is inside a 5stars hotel. Inside the restaurant is beautiful and the kitchen is open along the corridor. At the end there is a big window where you can see the bridge. The service and staff very professional. The food is at the same level of all the rest, beautiful dishes and very tasty. (1to10) Food: 9 Service: 9 Atmosphere: 9
Raz Vigdorovich
Raz Vigdorovich: The atmosphere at Spago was A amazing, we were greeted by servers and open kitchen employees all the way to our table. The food was no less than AMAZING. The staff was super nice and professional.I would go back again and again and again. 🤩
Mobika Stewart
Mobika Stewart: The ambience is top - also a wonderful music selection. The service is top and courteous. And the food was also excellent, very finely tasted, creative and yet also down to earth. Particularly noteworthy are the desserts. A dream - visually and culnary. Special requests were also catered for. For example, gluten-free food was no problem. Vegetarian options were also available. The Spago in Budapest is definitely a recommendation!

BESTIA: what do users think?
Frigyes Dr Orliczki
Frigyes Dr Orliczki: Overall, my friends and I had a great time, the food was tasty, the service was attentive and fast compared to the full house. I think the prices are also realistic in the heart of the city and compared to a popular place. The four stars do not go even for these, rather I would make some adjustments to the selection, especially in the area of appetizers and desserts.
Javier S
Javier S: Bestia is a warm and cosy place to relax and escape the cold fall evenings. The atmosphere is relaxing with a modern vibe. The food is exceptional and well priced! I would recommend to anyone in the area. Also the attention to detail with their service is some of the best we have received in Budapest. Anthony, one of our servers during the evening was excellent!
Response: The team here at BESTIA is thrilled to receive such great rating, thank you Javier!
Katja M Melendez Renta
Katja M Melendez Renta: I loved it so much I went twice. The food is great and the first waitress that took care of us was very attentive and made sure we understood what we were getting. I haven’t stopped thinking of the ribeye, goulash, baba ghanoush or the sweet potato that was served to me. Warning don’t forget to drink they serve very delicious drinks too. Would go to Budapest again just to eat here.
Response: Dear Katja, thank you so much for the heart-warming review! Come back soon! <3
Dana Bashi
Dana Bashi: Such a great place! Amazing food, great atmosphere and very friendly and efficient service. When a restaurant invests in sufficient amount of staff and their level of professionalism, it always pays off. We had the chicken with labane and mashed potatoes. It comes as is,with bones and everything but it is absolutely delicious. My husband had the angus burger and loved it. We had a pink gin cocktail and the chocolate cake with salted caramel for dessert. Yummy. And they also have a DJ who played great music. Great night altogether.
Response: Thanks so much for sharing your experience with us. We hope to see you again soon 💫
Máté Makai
Máté Makai: We reserved for 4 on a Thursday for dinner. The place got crowded pretty quickly, so the reservation is a must. The menu is short but with good variety, the beer selection is also great. We liked the starting chevap and hummus a lot. The mac and cheese with shrimp was excellent, although we found the burgers average. Considering the central location and the quality, the food is moderately priced. The service is quick, professional and attentive. The loud music makes the place rather noisy, hard to have a good conversation. Still, the quality of service and food earns this place a 5 star rating, we would return.
Response: Thanks so much for sharing your experience with us. We hope to see you again soon.
chis octavian
chis octavian: The food is amazing, everything is with a little twist that makes you love what they do here. The serving was very good also. Highly recommended!

KönyvBár & Restaurant: what do users think?
Nathalie Reichmuth
Nathalie Reichmuth: What a lovely concept to use a book as the inspiration for a menu. The story in our case was Winnie the Pooh. We had a wonderful evening from start to finish - the dinner was excellent. They really love to cook here and are very experienced in their art. The atmosphere, the guests, everything was just perfect - even the service was discreet and friendly. We recommend this experience to all guests - not just reading aficionados. :) Thank us later. Ps. I would give 6 stars if I could.
Stefan Geisseler
Stefan Geisseler: Every meal I had here was super delicious and made with a lot of creativity. A must try every time I come here is the Goulash Soup. It is just the best. The service is very kind and professional and the library ambience makes it a very cosy place, unless the cold air conditioner is blowing into your direction.
MikeO
MikeO: It looks like a library but don’t be fooled this is an exquisite restaurant. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is warm but it’s the food that impresses most : simply delicious I had to try the goulash and I must say this one made honour to this famous soup. Followed a perfectly cooked duck while my friend had the trout with vegetables - he loved it too. To end we shared a trio of chocolates to die for. Definitely an address to recommend
Todd May
Todd May: Flavours are there. Complex flavours and well plated food. Hospitality was also top notch, atmosphere was relaxed and they have a subtle fragrance in the air which was nice. Menu changes with a story book every fortnight. Winnie the Pooh inspired the menu when we visited.
Mike Bogdan
Mike Bogdan: This place is a 💎 gem. It’s a bit off the path, but well worth it! We dropped by for lunch and loved the food, service, and ambiance. Goulash was tasty, the “ceviche” yummy, and they totally cheated on the rabbit by wrapping it in bacon. (Really, everything was excellent.). Eat here.
Julia Morley
Julia Morley: Lovely atmosphere and wonderful service in this themed bookshop restaurant. Food very good and beautifully presented. Cool idea to have book-themed tasting menus. Veggie options were really good.
Silvana Krestianovich
Silvana Krestianovich: After a long time wandering around the city center, trying to find a restaurant that is still working, has some free tables, and looks like the pictures on the internet, we decided to try this one. And we have to admit that this place was above our expectations, cozy, friendly staff, original presentation of the menu and the dishes, the food quality was excellent and worth its price. Just make sure to call ahead for reservations!!!

Trófea Grill Étterem Király utca: what do users think?
Anastasia Kurenkova
Anastasia Kurenkova: We were here for the second time, the best place for lunch. Format - smorgasbord, entrance costs €32 on weekends and €28 on weekdays. Huge variety of dishes, several kinds of meat that are cooked on the grill, a large selection of seafood. Waiters actively offer alcoholic beverages and soft drinks, quickly clean dishes from the table. Completely justify the cost, I recommend.
Saeed Nino
Saeed Nino: It was one of the best buffés I have ever been to. Everything was included the food, the drinks and there were many Kinds of sweets. The staff was friendly and very helpful.
Queenie Quynh Nguyen
Queenie Quynh Nguyen: The best buffet in town if you come as group. Price range is very good to compare with what offer. Quality of food and drink are good. Environment is amazing. Staff are very pro.
Dariusz Tetlak
Dariusz Tetlak: This is the place where you need to go! Eat and drink how much you like just for 20€ in mid week, absolute bargain. Food amazing!!! from buffet where you can find cold meat, smoked fishes, salads to hot buffet with all hungarian classics and grill where they cook all selections of meat and fish and seafood what you like. Definitely will comeback for more on next holiday in Budapest.

Nobu Restaurant: what do users think?
vu401BT
vu401BT: My recommendation if you do go to this restaurant order from the Nobu classic dishes only. Very pretty restaurant with a pleasent atmosphere. Most of the dishes were ok and below in my opinion. Way below the expected from a Michelin star restaurant (and I ate before in few). The only dish that was good is from the Nobu classic dishes. Does not worth the cost.
Reza Shokouhi
Reza Shokouhi: Had a great dinner,I knew it was gonna be great because I knew about Nobu, its reputation precedes itself, but I went with waiter recommendation because it was the first time and I loved it, the Peruvian duck liver sauce on my tender loin was amazing, the salmon sashimi and bento box was all top. Love Nobu
Amanda WenChi Gáll-Huang
Amanda WenChi Gáll-Huang: Good quality lunch and pleasant environment at Nobu! From the Bento selections, the Classic one includes grilled fish fillet which was very tender, salmon avocado rolls, beef pot stickers, big portion of mayo prawns, fresh baby spinach salad, miso soup and a bowl of rice! A very solid size for lunch for sure! I asked for extra marinated ginger, they brought a very generous portion! Good service!
Response: Thank you for your kind words! We are glad that you are satisfied with us!
Fares Saab
Fares Saab: Really disappointed. Nobu is one of my favorite restaurants but the Budapest version is below Nobu’s average. The staff didn’t know the menu well and the food was average. It’s still good, but when I compare to other cities, it falls behind.
Laura Pio
Laura Pio: The food was tasty, the service was good, the drinks were okay - all in all, a good restaurant and ambience, but not for a Michelin star. I’ve been to many locations and while the servers were kind, they lacked the knowledge and wow of other locations and Michelin stars. What we ate: - the Cod: absolutely delicious. Some bones still in, so pay attention when eating - sushi, nigiri and sashimi platters: great quality - roasted asparagus: one of our favourite things on the menu. Sweet-ish sauce, buttery roasted pecan, deliciously charred asparagus - broccolini: okay. Tasted like simple broccolini - oyster trio: they were good with some different toppings - yellowtail with jalapeño: certainly worth the order - honey truffle baby corn: delicious and not too sweet, but quite oily All in all, a nice restaurant to visit. But if on a shorter trip, other Michelins preferred for Budapest and certainly other Nobu locations globally
Azadeh Hassani
Azadeh Hassani: It’s quality food for sure, if you don’t go in with the expectation of Nobu Malibu. We enjoyed the food and the ambiance. It’s fresh, tasty and well presented.
Richard George
Richard George: Sometimes it‘s worth to treat yourself with a wonderful experience & good tasting food. As usual, Nobu delivers! Absolutel fantastic beef and brilliant sushi!
Chew Pei Yun
Chew Pei Yun: Was really looking forward to dining in Nobu.i had the signature omakase, love the run down of the dishes.Overall experience was good...just a little comment, food might be a little too salty for my taste for fresh seafood.
96morelis
96morelis: I went here once but i liked it a lot. Especially i liked oyster shot it was magical !! Also very beautiful details in decoration. Maybe a bit pricey but it worth it
