They accept Euros and Credit Cards. English speaking. Post cards are from 600 HUF to 800 HUF. Not the cheapest, but very high quality and supports local artists.
Response: Thank you 🙏

Günter Gebert: This is an awesome place. It is like a little wonderland, you find something new, unique and fantastic in every corner. You can lose yourself in the artworks. The people running the store are extremely friendly, helpful and prepared to explain you everything you want to know, from the history of the store to the story of particular prints. If you are interested in contemporary art and want to support the art scene in Budapest, this place is def worth a visit.
Response: Awe, thank you Günter for your kind review! It was lovely to see you, and hope the artworks you got at Rodo will be an inspiring addition to your life.

Bernie Person: Very cute things to buy, love the authenticity. Over priced and not very friendly staff
Response: Thank you for your feedback, we attended to the issue you raised, and made sure that from this calendar year you can only meet helpful and friendly staff at our shop. Also, our one-of-a-kind, handmade, made in Hungary, ethically manufactured designer items are curated based on many parameters, one of which is that we could offer gifts from 6 USD/ EUR. Some of our artist are professors at Art Universities, some of them are trying to make a living selling their wonderful art, and we are proud to represent and promote them. Furthermore, VAT in Hungary is 27% which directly goes to the Government and our artist are not supported from that tax - sorry if you perceived this as overpricing. Best regards!

Fanni F: Lovely shop for hand made souvenirs and Hungarian designer accessories, home decor and art items. Friendly and nice staff.

Karolina: Hidden gem of Budapest. The entry to the whole building and garden is free. There are plenty of impressing masterpieces which you can buy! Also there is one of the most beautiful views at the Parliment from the top floor. Totally recommend if you have around 30 minutes of free time.
Response: Thank you for you kind words

Lilla Kertész: I had the chance to visit Koller Gallery when a super talented artist friend of mine, Marco Veronese, had an exhibition there. There is a beautiful small garden, connected to the gallery with a small fountain, lovely statues and it has also a calm, artsy atmosphere. Excellent to ponder on life’s big questions and chill a bit there. Worth to go!
Response: Thank you very much for your kind words, looking forward to your next visit!

Wiktoria Rak: wonderful small gallery, not many tourists seem to know about it. very nice lady working there. beautiful house with soul, and a stunning small garden!

Lilith: At first, we were a but scared to go and ring the doorbell but I am so happy we did! The warden was extremely friendly and welcoming and let us walk through the gallery at our own pace. The garden was so tranquil and lovely to be in. The highlight of the visit was the studio in the top floor which exhibited beautiful art and offered a view over the whole of Budapest.
Response: Thank you very much, looking forward to your next visit

Nick Bateman: Excellent little gallery with a wide range of classical and contemporary works by Hungarian artists. The top floor atelier (formally used by the sculptor, Amerigo Tot) with its incredible views of the city is worth visiting by itself. The small sculpture garden is also wonderful, and the staff are extremely polite and helpful. We’ll worth a visit if you’re looking for something other than the typical tourist sights on Castle Hill.
Response: Thank you very much !

Maryam Tohidi: Friendly gallery with a beautiful sculpture garden
Response: thank you very much !

Isabel S: A lovely art gallery tucked away with some brilliant pieces. The view from the top floor is stunning and a little remembrance of Irme Toth!

Khishigmaa Enkhtur: Nice gallery with the cutest small garden!
Response: Thank you very much !

Ryan: Very cool folks running it super friendly. Make sure to ring the bell. View from third floor impressive as an unexpected bonus.
Response: Thank you Ryan, it was a pleasure to meet you!

Kelly B: Visited the shop two weeks ago and found more than I went in for. Originally just wanting watercolor pan set to travel with and maybe a good brush as a keepsake, I also found paper, lots of different types of watercolor grade paper I just do t have access to in NY. I speak no Hungarian, not an issue, staff was completely cordial. Didn’t have a bag to carry two armfuls of goodies so the cashier went to the back and found something for me. This will become a regular stop on my trips to Budapest!

A J: Great art store where you can find almost anything that you may need with great prices.

Barbs Jen: Always come here for my canvases, brushes and paints. Quite a variety of stuff, although you cannot find everything. Staff is helpful.

Gabriella Rita Art: Amazing shop with all major EU brands available

Rob K: Arts and crafts store. Great selection, albeit expensive.

Levente: Very helpful staff
Response: Thank you very much!

Bence Feher: Good place :)

Ants Productions: Great poster shop with an fantastic selection, prices are reasonable from 70euros to a few thousands euros, so something for most pockets. You need to have an appointment to view the posters, or ring the bell. The staff are not pushy and are helpful. Some of the staff speak very good English.

Serena Ngai: Appointment required, but easy to book via email. I was able to book an appointment within a few days. Great selection of vintage posters. Staff was friendly, and super knowledgeable. Was fun to learn about the history, artists, and era.

Áron Dési: If you are looking for a unique home accessory, look no further. They have posters on almost every topic. They are nice to the customers and it seems that they understand the matter. It deserves five stars!

Marcsi Radli: Super nice service and great selection!

Agnes “Agi” Jacob Fry: Beautiful note books, wrapping paper , pens, ink. All designed here in Budapest. are Top quality! If you love quality paper to touch and write on, this is your place! They also sell leather bound notebooks! The location is also right next to an amazing folklore shop, with the most authentic moderately priced pieces! Go ! Visit some real Budapest highlights!
Response: Thank you very much Ági! ❤️

Raman Kaur: It’s such a tiny quaint little place. The woman who was working was so nice and kind. She really helped me find what I was looking for and gave me some great tips for Budapest. I am glad to have stumbled upon this store and support local Hungarian businesses.

leben rennt: Beautiful shop and beautiful art works to buy. I enjoyed it so much "roaming" (the shop is small so not a lot of moving). The quality of the books is excellent and the prices are fair. Definitely will be back.Thank you for the inspiration

Su Borahan: Nice and good quality products packed in a tiny store. The lady working there was very kind and attentive. I only suggest providing more options for gift wraps if hand wrapping them is not on option.
Response: Thank you Su, you are so kind. Yes, the gift wrap is will always a big problem, because of the small space... we will work on it. Thank you for your suggest. <3

Response: Thank you very much for the 5 stars :-)

Lajos J. Hajdu: Other than art gigants are not to be found here.

Csaba Mullner: They simply do not respond to inquiries and questions if they are not interested. If the person is persistent and asks again a few times, the answer is rude and rude.

Sarif Khan: Awesome

Káló András: Special salon

Gábor Sárosi: If possible, it is worth visiting, there is a huge collection of paintings and works of art here, and the interior of the building is reminiscent of the last century, which makes it truly idyllic and nostalgic. It is also a gallery, so there are artworks available for purchase. There is also a very significant collection of Jewish and Gypsy artists. Walking around the zigzag rooms, standing on the small, charming balcony, or what is even more special, watching a theater performance or listening to a musician or poet here is a viscerally cathartic experience. I recommend it to anyone who wants to discover the hidden treasures of Past.

Bernadett Dr. Garamvölgyiné Szilágyi: I loved being there and the interactive play was really great!

Ágnes Ostoros: Their performance of Anna Karenina is world-class, with world stars. I could watch it as many times as I wanted. Every day there is a new, wonderful performance. And there are so many beautiful paintings and other works on the walls. If you go somewhere, you should definitely go to Kugler.

Katalin Komondy: A magical place: with its special, antique furniture, wildly colorful paintings (works by Roma artists), and the (apartment) theater with a unique atmosphere. I loved being there!

Zoltán Békés: It is worth visiting here. Apartment and gallery at the same time, lots of intense paintings and objects mainly by gypsy artists, together with the accessories of an apartment.

Dóra Katona: Its lovely, family-like atmosphere, warm welcome and special interior added a lot to the spirit of the Sinhazi Elodas! :)
