Tanel Veenre: Avoid the place if you wear contemporary designs. After standing in a queue the security didn’t let me in referring to the dress code - my pants are too sporty for the place. As I was wearing lavender color cotton pants by Dantemen (I suggest this fantastic Greek fashion brand to everyone!) his remark sounded unbelievable. The stuff asked if I could go home and change these for jeans!? It’s obvious the place is living still somewhere in Post Soviet vibe and might be the only gay club in the world where fashion clothing isn’t allowed.
Zoltán Páldy (pyznts): Security gaurds are jerks. Once they didnt let me in because i was too drunk and two weeks later they say i should try one month later. When i said i traveled 2 hours and someone may need me inside...
Trent Robinson: A really cool club with multiple areas. The drag show is a joy.

Mia Lamprou: The ruin bars of Budapest have a great history! Amazingly stunning alternative spaces in abandoned buildings!!! Such a magnificent experience!You must visit this area! Its chaos and eclecticism has turned it into one of the world’s most famous bars as well!
Marina Camillozzi: Please visit this place you will really enjoy. The atmosphere is amazing and it’s a really cool place to have some drinks and some fun. The ruin pub is something like different and I really recommend.

Suzanne: Fun place to visit and have a beer or two! We tried the ipa, which we liked being ipa fans. Good place for people watching! There was a guy playing American tunes on his guitar which was entertaining. There is also a small market that sold fruits, vegetables, homemade pastries and souvenirs.
Anna Rowe: So much fun!! We did a bar crawl through the ruin bars, and it was a blast. All the bars had so much going on, every room and nook at a theme. I loved the atmosphere and the staff was all super friendly. We worked our way throughout the bar, and could’ve easily spent more time there! Everyone we met was from all over and so nice to hang out with!
Sarmizia Fetcu: A huge wow!!! A very hippie atmosphere in the heart of jewish quarter. I liked the spirit of this place, totally nonconformist. You can find in here everything you want: wine, beer, art graphitti, people from all around the world and street food just beside. Is a must on your list with places to visit in Budapest.

Fabiano Raso: I was worried after reading the reviews and almost put me off going, because in Hungary I had this bad experience twice when the staff forced me aggressively to pay for more than what I should have. However, I don’t think this bar is dodgy at all, as you apprehend from its reviews. The guy at the entrance is very nice and as someone already said, he explains you everything you need to know. There is a minimum spend of 1.500ft which is normal if you wanna go in and use their facilities. The bar downstairs is nice too, great ambience between customers, the playing area is big, nice variety and clean. Met some really cute guys but there could be more full action. When i paid my bill the bar staff charged me like about 100/200ft more, but if you think about that in £ is not even £1, so if you go with an open mind and know that it’s all fine and not dodgy at all! Give it a try and see it yourself just as I did. It’s definitely worth 2.8 on google. I’d say 4.
Ershad RAMEZANI: As it was our first time there, the doorman well explained to us how the payment works. I think the 1650 ft for a beer is a fare amount I paid. But the place was not crowded for a Saturday midnight so we left.

Georgios Pimenidis: No security there! No manners! A boy attacked in the toilet by a psycho man, since the boy didn’t want to have fun with him. The boy was shocked. The staff didn’t act properly and they still allowed to the violent man to stay in the bar. RUDE STAFF, NO CUSTOMER SERVICE, NO SECURITY!

I had a bill of 6000huf I gave them 10,000 and only got 1000 back when I asked for the rest of my change I got told are u stupid and are you on drugs , absolutely foul bar men and workers , the drinks were served with cleaning fluid still in them dangerous scammers AVOID!!!! Police had to be called
otto ###: So in this case you should really read the reviews from this place. I went there whit a local friend (hungarian) and i also speak the language, and they still tried to make us pay more for drinks (double prices). As a recommendation go with a local, watch the prices on the menu before and keep your reciepts until the end. Anyway the place is creepy and empty. I really don t recommend it!

OMER: Absolutely wonderful! Mysterious ruins pub offering multiple bars inside. It’s huge..you could dance drink or chill. The place offers different atmosphere in various rooms. There are some funny decorative details as well. Quite popular amongst tourist especially Friday and Saturday nights.
Anastassia Moralieva: Nice atmosphere and vibe , you can chill if you go during the day as we did in June. On Friday evening there was a huge line outside of at least 100 people waiting to enter. Some of the bars were not open on Saturday noon so didn’t have a great experience to have a good drink there - just grab a lemonade. A lot of tourists are going and in the evening and I guess it’s overcrowded then.

Era Chaudhary: Great pub in ruins. It is a HUGE place! Unfortunately, I went solo and had no company to chill there and party, so it was a bit dull for me. Overall, I saw a lot of young crowd, groups of friends, drinking all the way across! There was no food in the place! Rightfully, so! It is a pure drinking place! The drinks were decently priced.
Y M: Really fun ruin bar but if you want a quiet place to chill this is probably not for you. When we were there in the afternoon, there were a load of people singing badly super loudly so it was quite annoying. The bar vibe is cool though so if you happen to go in non busy times maybe it would be a better experience. Drinks are in the more expensive side for local bars but not unaffordable
khushi Navdiwala: I can say that it’s fun time to go there . When I reached there with my bf we saw it was long queue out side of this bar but I was worth to wait for it bar. We had amazing time there. They have 2 floors and plenty of different rooms where you can chill with your friends. So many antique things are inside , for me bathtub was attraction 😅😅I had plenty of pictures there.
Helena Pynte: Be prepared to give your eyes a treat. You’ll be scanning every room and bar for funny, quirky and weird stuff. Loved it here! And to the contrary of what I’ve read online, the staff is in fact very friendly. The bartender even let us taste some wines before ordering.

Charles Jackson: This bar is permanently closed. A driver took me here tonight and explained. Also, the two other bars in the area have incorrect hours and are not open on Sunday as their hours state. These two bars are Coxx (horrible reviews any way) and Rainbow cafe.
Viktors Jesjmans: We were in this room with my friend. I didn’t see many people there because it was not yet open and it was practically empty. But the room itself is very small and not many people can fit there, but in principle the rooms. hangs a lot on the walls of various interesting things. Therefore, if someone comes there it will be quite interesting; there are several rooms of a rather pure type and I would say that it’s quite comfortable

Bento da Silva: A place that you can have some fun but unfortunately overcharge tourists. On Saturday night they have charge me 1.900 ft for a aperol spirit. In the menu the price was 1.300 ft. It is a pity such kind of thing in a so lovely city.

James Cheek: A decent little show / drag bar. It had a great atmosphere, great tunes (like propper dance tunes❤️). Bar staff were friendly and service was quick. If you visit and want to watch the drag show (there is an additional price to pay and you get a wrist band). Now maybe this is noted somewhere but I didnt know. It was not an issue at all, as the show was good, but if you visit Polygon then be aware of the extra cost, it was about 1,300ft. Only negative (hence 4 stars) its not the largest of venues. The area where the was on, was very crowded when I was there. However it was a good show.

Forest: There is no drink with a cocktail that they cannot make or serve. The staff place a high emphasis on guests providing comfort, and the Shows on the weekends also support it. The bar is beautiful, I highly recommend it to everyone.
