Over Moon: This "practice" is a joke. We contacted on email to make an appointment. Their reply was an appointment time and bank details to which we were supposed to make payment after the session. On the day of the appointment we tried calling several times, no answer and no call back. We went to their "office address" for our appointment, only to find no office there, it is a residential apartment building. Later, one of their coleagues called us back and informed us that they dont meet clients in person, only online. This was never informed to us before. They later sent us an email apologizing, but could not offer us an appointment, instead sent links to a facebook page and websites of other therapists/pracrices they recommend. A total waste of time. Reply:To copy your email to us "We would like to ask for your apologies regarding the inconveniences due to the misunderstanding on Monday. We checked the incidence and found that the appointment was not registered in our booking system as there were no confirmation to the offered appointment. Meanwhile we could see as well that in the reply it was not mentioned or highlighted that we need confirmation for booking." So your email did not require a confirmation, but also you did not book us because you expected a confirmation? Hmmm.. Also, nowhere in your email or website or anything did it say the session would be conducted online. Hence we assumed it would be at your office. Only when you called us back much later after our appointment time did you inform that the therapist never meets clients in person, only online. Anyway, my point is our time was wasted and i do not recommend this practice at all. Thats all. Good luck!
Response: Dear 'Over Moon', Firstly we would like to express our sorry about the case. Meanwhile we would like to kindly draw your attention to some important details. 1. On 1st June we got your email asking about our service. On 3rd June we sent our offer (indicating possible appointment, counselor, price and other details). Till 15th June unfortunately we did not get any feedback, reaction or confirmation from you so that we could have any evidence to consider our offer accepted by you, so it was not registered in our booking system. On 15th June we got 2 calls and sms from you right before the time of the offered appointment, and we called you back. Then we investigated the incidence with the above results. Meanwhile till 15th June our counselor's free timeslot become reserved by other client who expressed us with evidence the acceptence of our offer. Finally we informed you in a polite reply, and making some extra efforts to give you other professional recommendations. 2. Most of the psychological service providers in Budapest are located in residential buildings, we do as well. For sure it is not easy to find but in case of personal session for confirmed appointment we share all the necessary information to find it and in case of need we doublecheck at the gate as well. In this case we could not do that, as there were no confirmed personal appointment. 3. Due to the COVID-19 situation service providers where medical service is also provided must follow the regulation of medical service providers. Preferably using telemedicine where it is possible, where it is not possible and personal presence is necessary then all the meaures must be taken e.g. wearing face mask during the session etc. We provide medical services as well (clinical psychology and psychotherapy) therefore the whole center follows the stricter regulation. In the email (sent on 3rd June) you can find reference for online communication. Therefore meanwhile we do understand your disappointment and we do feel sorry that you went in vain to our address, but based on the above detailed reasons we would like to kindly ask you to reconsider your point of view about this incidence. We wish you all the best, Gabriella Szabó
